Service was a bit slow but the food and atmosphere was good.

Full English breakfast available. Breakfast special with smoothie is delightful.

Came here with the Mrs and did not disappoint had a lovely three course and a good wine recommendation from the Manager Nelson a Portuguese like me knows his wine ! Would recommend definitely the steak tartare Will be back with the family next time ! Thanks Ivy your team was delightful

We had a cream tea with a glass of bubbly and am very pleased to say this massively exceeded our expectations.

We visited to celebrate an 18th birthday and I’m pretty embarrassed at how bad it was. What should have been a meal to celebrate we will all remember for the wrong reasons. After being seated it took around 20 mins for someone to take any order, by that time we’d had plenty of time to choose food and drinks. Out of the two appetisers (olives and bread) one never came and the bread arrived with the mains!. Sparkling water was ordered…it never arrived…one portion of chips also never showed up. The waiting staff were barely ever seen and never came to check on us. The service was slow and lacklustre and inattentive. So much so we gave up on the idea of dessert and wanted to leave. Needless to say the bill contained all the missing items plus a service charge on top. Really unimpressed and to top it all the main ladies toilets were all blocked and had issues…not nice. Definitely paying over £200 for a one course meal is terrible value for 4 people. Will not be returning and am just so disappointed about the experience. The only good thing I can say is that the waiter did bring a small celebratory cake at the end but by that point it was too late. The items were removed from the bill at my request but no gesture was made. Just poor.

I had a corporate group at Ivy Soho Brasserie a couple of weeks ago and the team were brilliant, the staff were very professional and accommodated all our requests on the night. The client very much enjoyed their dining experience and I will definitely be booking the restaurant again.

Great private dining room for an event, we hosted our clients for a corporate breakfast event. The food, service and location was spot on. Would highly recommend!

Loved our visit to this restaurant. We were celebrating a special birthday and Natasha made a fuss of the birthday girl with Prosecco and a desert. The food was delicious and the service excellent. Natasha seemed to really enjoy her work and made sure our celebration was special. I would definitely go back again.

Amazing dinner with my husband in the Ivy SoHo. Food was brilliant, but the service was absolutely outstanding. Pavlina was so attentive and considerate, she completely made our evening that bit more special.

Visited late January as a couple and had a fantastic evening. We returned in March and what a difference. Repeatedly asking for cutlery, side dishes arriving so late into the meal, leaving the table to find a waiter to replenish drinks. Waiters chatting at the bar whilst empty glasses & plates are left. Such a shame as the venue is fantastic and for that reason the customers will keep coming. Rude management & very poor service.

We preferred it for the New Year’s Eve dinner. Everything was very nice. You should try crispy zucchini. ❤️🎄

Upon entering you are greeted with professionalism and courtesy. We had some drinks at the bar made with skill and elegance. They accompanied us to the table and Simone pampered us from start to finish. A small food requirement was not met but Simone knew how to make it "forgiven". Thanks London, thanks Simone.

It became very average You pay a steak that is shit + you have to pay for extra sauce and chips. Don't mind paying but it as to be good

Exceptional Service and a Delightful Dining Experience We recently visited The Ivy Soho for lunch and were immediately struck by the lively and bustling atmosphere. Despite the restaurant being quite busy and seemingly understaffed, we were fortunate to be looked after by Marin, a wonderful Thai waitress whose exceptional service truly elevated our experience. From the moment we arrived, Marin went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. With no receptionist in sight, she graciously assisted with our coats and personally guided us to our table, all while radiating warmth and kindness. Her smile alone set the tone for a fantastic meal. The food was simply outstanding—beautifully presented, bursting with flavor, and cooked to perfection. The ambiance of the restaurant was equally delightful, creating the perfect setting for an enjoyable lunch. Despite the initial concern about staffing levels, Marin’s attentive and professional service ensured that we lacked for nothing. She truly made our visit memorable. Five-star service, exquisite cuisine, and an inviting atmosphere—what more could you ask for? We savored every moment and will most certainly be returning soon!

I had a great experience when I visited this restaurant for dinner. Lovely atmosphere, tasty food, but what really stood out to me was the amazing service we got. A lady in a blue jacket served us, I beleive her name was Emily or something like that. She was very attentive and chatty, gave brilliant recommendations and really made us feel at home. Will definitely be returning!

I decided to try the chicken Penang curry with rice here and although it didn’t taste very authentic, it was tasty. I like the added coconut flakes for additional crunchy texture. Good consistent service that you can expect from The Ivy. Nice venue with relaxing atmosphere.

I can't give it a lower rating than the maximum because it truly has been an incredible experience from the moment you walk through the door and they greet you with a broad smile and professionalism and accompany you to your table. The treatment is unbeatable, they have a not very extensive menu but everything is specialized and very good. We ordered the Onion Soup, the lamb beef pie and the traditional fish and chips and everything was delicious. Especially the meat pie, it was amazing, I recommend ordering it. Price, in general, high, but worth it for the quality of the product and the treatment. In addition to typical British food, they are specialists in cocktails, they have a wide range of alcoholic drinks. Comfortable seats and pleasant music.

Food and atmosphere was great. Forgot about our appetizer, and messed up our desert but made it up in taste of food!

Everything was going smoothly until our dessert was refused due to the length of time it would take to serve it, and we were informed that we had run out of time! In my opinion, this was neither professional nor courteous, as I am certain they could have offered a more customer-friendly solution. If they had simply invited us to enjoy our dessert at the bar and explained how Saturday night is typically a busy night, anything other than what they did would have been acceptable and more considerate. An otherwise enjoyable meal was marred by dissatisfactory service.

Great stylish restaurant with tasty food, good set meals, friendly and helpful staff. Just variety of dishes could be a bit better as it used to be. However I guess this is due to the high inflation - The Ivy still wants to let people enjoy the meal keeping the same price but need to play with the food options.

Couple of cheeky cocktails at the bar beautifully made tasted fab. Great vibe good service. Not cheap but worth every penny.

A true London experience in that the food was absolutely nothing to write home about. Scallops were dry, steak was over cooked (despite asking for medium rare) and therefore spongy and impossible to chew. The ambiance was great though, beautiful interior decor.

Booked yesterday for my daughter’s birthday. The staff were good and attentive. The food however was not. We both ordered fish and chips. The fish batter was raw underneath and fish was a bit pink. Not realising until I had ate half. We pointed this out to the staff who refunded the price of the dishes. I was really disappointed as had previously visited the ivy in Chelsea garden and the fish and chips were the best I had in years. Please get your chef to get some training from the Chelsea Ivy in order for the fish and chips to be better than it was yesterday the batter was so thick I think they put in too much flour in the batter.

Arrived 10 mins early for 0830 breakfast. Made to wait outside, wasn’t allowed to enter the premises or use the bathrooms. Simple scrambled egg on toast order, eggs were cold and toast was too tough to cut. Pretty poor to get a basic so wrong.

Different, if slightly twee decor. Nice food on set menu with delightful well trained staff. Good location.

What an absolute disaster of a place . We booked a table for 2 for a birthday the very unfriendly lady on the front desk said yes I have your booking and then managed to sit us on the worst table she could find in between the wall were the waiters leave their till and a couple of really loud people who were talking so loud you couldn’t actually here yourself think. !! The table area was so small I had to sit with my legs to the side as I couldn’t fit them comfortably under the table ! The service was slow , the drinks were not doubles as requested the bar staff just put an extra ice cube thinking that we wouldn’t notice well we did notice you were charging for doubles yet giving singles , the starters were ok but what was frustrating walk in guests were coming in off the street no bookings and when they arrived they were given massive tables for example a woman by herself by a nice corner table another 2 customers got a large table designed for 4 !! This was not nice for us two sitting in this tiny table which reminded me of Paris tables certainly not London . After finishing starters the plates were not cleared for a good 25 minutes even though staff were constantly passing to put new glasses and menus etc on empty tables no one bothered to actually clear our table for our next course. I went to see the host to enquire why they had given us the worst table in the restaurant and could it be they were busy , he said no they are not busy and fid not understand why these sat us there !!! Then a lady tried to make things better by moving us to a normal table designed for 2 people with legs this time and gave us a free drink but to be honest after the first part of the experience being so bad we were already not expecting good things . The main course had been floating around whilst all this was going on and finally arrived and was nothing special or tasty and a bit cold too !! Then again finishing the course the long long wait to get the table cleared 20 mins gone by asking the lady who helped can you help us again , table then cleared, dessert menus thrown at us literally again the lady helped as the staff were way to busy chatting and messing around in the mainly empty restaurant! To be blunt this place was good maybe in the past they ruined my birthday lunch and the staff should be retrained and whoever owns the place maybe needs to invest in some training and etiquette for the staff ! Your IVY Soho is a big joke !

The overall dinner experience was very average. Decor overshadowed the food experience. I prefer the Ivy breakfast experience, food, service and atmosphere was much better for me. The desert looked inviting but it won’t be one I remember. It was just underwhelming because of the excessive hype.

An absolutely stunning Art Deco style interior. The food and service though were massively disappointing. I asked for a smoothie twice and never received it. The steak was fatty unfortunately.

Went there yesterday with my colleagues. It was as amazing as always. Absolutely delicious food, spectacular drinks, and our waiter was probably the most professional and understanding waiter I have ever met. The wine list is extensive with something for everyone’s palate. I could go on and on about how amazing the experience was, all the way from welcoming to farewell. 100% will go back and recommend to all my friends

Came here for my birthday dinner february 22nd, food and drinks were really good but our server was amazing! After being super late for our reservation we were still given our table which I was super grateful for, our server was lovely and a really great host and he created a lovely atmosphere, Will definitely be back next time I visit London!

The Ivy restaurants are always lovely when you visit somewhere and you know what you are going to get when you go. The place was really busy as you'd expect on a Saturday evening in the middle of Soho, but still, we sat quickly and served with expediency. I'd recommend booking for sure as it was busy, to say the least! The waiter was professional and allowed us enough time to decide what we wanted, but made sure to deal with each of our seven person group efficiently. When the food arrived, I had the steak, and it was fantastic tender and cooked just right for me (med/rare). One thing I will say now was I was a little disappointed that I had to pay so much to just get a steak, costing I want to say £29ish. When I say a steak, I mean just trh streak. The chips were a side you had to order separately as well as ant suace you wanted. But this honestly is my only minor complaint, and I can appreciate it was still really good steak and chips! They gave us a free dessert for our friend as it was her hen do which they didn't have to do as it was so busy, bur the extra thought was lovely to see and the waiter went that extra mile with that to make her feel extra special. The desserts were also really nice and everyone really enjoyed the process as well as the eating of the meal! Definitely would recommend!

Great friendly staff and beautiful place

Don't waste your time and money here. We had a big party dinner cuz we think this is the best (says who? worst actually) British restaurant in London. The waiters didn't introduce anything when serving the dishes, just served them quickly like a robot. When we asked about the dishes, the blonde waitress turned away, sighed impatiently and rolled her eyes after explaining with any reason. So Asians, please don't come here to waste money. We're not welcome here. The food is really terrible really 难吃. The mushroom pasta is the worst I've ever had. The sauce is so weird , sticky and disgusting 黏的程度真的像大鼻涕. I have tried so many Italian restaurants so that I have to say that I’m pretty sure it's not a normal mushroom pasta…. We confirmed with the blonde waitress no cheese and bacon add on when ordering the burger, but there was bacon on the bill in the end. We didn't complain as we just wanted to leave the restaurant quickly and didn't want to waste more time. Finally, when getting our coats, the receptionist gave our coats to other customers even we haven’t give them the ticket... With this kind of service, I don't think they deserve the service charge, even though we paid it as usual. Hope they train their staff on how to serve customers properly. This is the worst restaurant I've been to in London after all these years. I definitely won't go again.

Disappointing experience. We waited a long time to place any kind order - even a drink - however, once we ordered, the food did come out quick. Unfortunately mine was not very good. I ordered fish and chips, and the fish seemed to be off. I’ve never tasted anything like it. Unfortunately I was short of time so didn’t have time to send it back and wait for another. Expected much more. Shame.

Not for me this place. Small tables, order wrong, but redeemed by not charging. Food presented well but not too my taste. (Just my opinion). Drink, Coke, small bottle big price.

Usual good standard of food. There is clearly a management problem in this place, three of us ate here on Valentine’s Day and the rudeness of the staff got to the point where it was hilarious. Stand out service came from Anastasia who was so sweet and helpful, guided us through the menu and was there for anything we needed. Great considering the standard set her terribly rude boss who I told on the way out how great she was and how he had not been! Didn’t catch his name. Coats were literally thrown at us at the end. Too. We had a good laugh about it. But shouldn’t be treated like such an inconvenience, it’s their job that they are surely being paid for?! Boys behind the bar are working super hard - they need more help.

The food is fine but the service is not what you’d expect. We waited ages for first round of drinks. Then when main courses came, I had my beer spilled into my lap. I felt bad for the server who was very apologetic but management saw and were aware, yet I had to wait 15 mins for replacement drink so had almost finished meal, and they only deducted the beer and a bottle of water from bill despite me having saturated jeans and backpack in almost freezing temperature outside.

Unfortunately my food arrived stone cold and had to be sent back and by the time it arrived everyone else had finished.

A decent dining space in the middle of soho. It's not setting the world alight with culinary creativity, but the food is of a good standard, well prepared and presented. The place screams 'business lunch'.

Great place to start the day with a British breakfast. This is 100% comfort food, food that makes you happy. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly.

Terrible experience, zero respect for customers If I could give zero stars, I would. I had booked in advance and, knowing I might be a few minutes late, I called to let them know. They assured me it wouldn’t be a problem. Yet, when we arrived, they left us standing for a shocking 25 minutes, completely ignoring us, despite the fact that there were clearly many empty tables. Only after multiple complaints did they finally give us a table… in a dark, isolated corner, as if they were doing us a favor. At this point, if you don’t want to accommodate customers, at least have the decency to say so over the phone. Awful service, zero organization, and a complete lack of respect. I will never come back and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Had a really special night here with my partner for Valentine’s Day. Dinner was amazing! Outstanding service from Anastasia, she went above and beyond to make our evening special and gave some food recommendations for food and drinks. Thank you Anastasia!

Fiancé and I had an early V-Day date and we had a wonderfully time. The food was great, I had the supreme chicken (couldve used a little salad or sauerkraut, reason why the food is not at 5 stars) the dessert was incredible, had the apple pie which didn't take as long to make as we expected!! It was a very fun display as the alcohol was set on fire and poured over the pie. Taste wise it was fine, a little too alcoholy for me but that's obvi on a personal level. The atmosphere was lovely. We were sat at the bar and had a live performer near by. It was a fun time with almost immediate service. Speaking of the service, it was very lovely. Although I could tell the staff were quite busy at times, they were still polite and incredibly friendly. Our main server, Pukar, was absolutely lovely, very attentive and very quick.

Had a lonesome 2 course dinner, fried halloumi and the sea bass, food was delicious and the service even better, thank you Anastasia. The creme brulee is to die for 🤤

Seated in the events area which lacks any ambience, it was very disappointing. The quality of food was good and the waitress very pleasant indeed. Reception staff were somewhat surly too.

A great experience! We had a lunch in this chic restaurant, with very polite staff and high quality food. We ordered zucchini and truffle arancini as starters and burger with salmon, shrimps, avocado cream, lettuce and onion with fries. Very good!

We dropped in here on a rainy Monday night. We were a group of 3, ordered 2 starters and 3 mains food came out in good portion sizes, our server Jordan was absolutely amazing very attentive and a total pleasure . All in all very good experience.

Fish and Chips: 10/10. The food was excellent, but my experience was let down by the service. I’d give four stars because the lady at the entrance seemed more focused on joking around than managing the queue. She initially told me a table would be ready in 10 minutes, but after waiting 30 minutes, I had to remind her I was still there.

The food was good but nothing special, and the overall experience was okay. The service was decent, but nothing particularly stood out. The location, although was quite nice and the atmosphere was also very nice and lively. Vegetarian options were not very crowed. I was a fan of the cocktails and drinks, which were all fine. One thing that did surprise me was the 13.5% service charge, which felt quite high for what we got. While I didn’t find the experience overly impressive, it was still an enjoyable meal for quite a high price.

Very different IVY. Much more elegant atmosphere. Booking required in advance. Lots of seating , amazing bar , amazing staff . They do have a set menu limited time and elaborate ala carte menu totally awesome . Staff friendly and quick in their service. Lots of guests are there to enjoy meals either pre or post meals after the show . So the weekend is crazy busy at this restaurant. For me I will visit here again

Waited 25 minutes for a cup of coffee and only received it after reminding them. Order was only taken 45 mins after being seated and then the orange juice was so watered down we had to send it back. The eggs were at least good but it was woefully understaffed.

Very tasty breakfast, friendly staff and brilliant service

Nice food, nice setting and a nice atmosphere. Service is fairly good but doesn't feel very sincere. Queueing outside when we already had a reservation wasn't a good experience, the reception doubling up as the cloakroom makes the whole process of getting in complicated and even after that the staff inside still had to look up the reservation again so what was the point of having to check at the reception 🤷🏻‍♂️. Generally as I expected, quite overpriced, especially the drinks and quite small portions. I won't rush to go there again when there are so many other places offering better quality at a better price.

A must. Go to at least one of The Ivy restaurants. We went to the SoHo location before a show. It was perfect. Sat at the counter.

the waiter was very rude to us we had to talk to the manager and she started to be a little nice the food took a long time to con it wasn’t that good for its price at the lobby they said something racist to us but apologize but still it was a bit rude of them to say that the service wasn’t that good

We are a family of 5 who by chance were visiting London at the same time as my nephew and his family. Went for dinner and I must say it was the worst service I received ever!! Order drinks, wine, appetizers, main course and deserts. Waitress comes back takes everyone’s appetizer utensils without a word not asking nothing, then brings out the appetizers and main courses all at once. Hmmm and basically throwing all the plates on the table!!!! I went to complain about the service and asked for a manger and they say sorry the manager will stop by, no manager ever stopped by presenting himself and we never got to hear from this person. I will NEVER EVER RECOMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!! Unbelievable the level of service we received tonight!!!

We walked in just for Cream tea, and that was an awesome experience. For a very reasonable price you’ll get a tea pot of your choice and 3 delicious scones with jelly&butter. We’ll be back.

Great environment and atmosphere, stylish, cool but relaxed. The food was great, special mention to the duck salad starter, scallops starter, cottage pie, fish and chips and the apple tart. We were a party of 9 for a family birthday and the service was great with a variety of options on the menu for everyone. A special surprise desert was brought out for the birthday guest, a large profiterole (which wasn’t on the menu) it was delicious and was a lovely touch! I would definitely recommend for any group event or just a dinner for 2, it won’t disappoint.

2nd visit here in 4 months (1st visit outstanding service) booked a table for 4 people at 16:15pm so the restaurant was not busy in the slightest. I counted 7 different waiters/Waitresses dealing with our table so everything was a bit chaotic, confusing and uncomfortable, from the start we were given the wrong drinks, then they gave us a different tables drinks, meals came out all at different times. The bill was wrong twice. We had to repeat ourself over and over as had too many servers who didn't communicate with each other. Such a shame as had a wonderful experience first time around.

We’ve been numerous times before so know what to expect- booked for brunch prior to going to the palladium. Allowed two hours. Service was friendly. Seated promptly but waited some time for order to be taken and had to ask a waiter to come over. The restaurant wasn’t that busy. The brunch was delicious. Aware of our timescale we asked how quick coffees would be ( we had skipped starters and puddings) and were told five minutes. Quarter of an hour later we had to cancel them as we needed to leave. They then arrived but unfortunately not time for us to drink more than a few sips. They were removed from the bill. Having said that we enjoyed our visit and what we did have was very tasty and good value.

Both service and food are fantastic, because of this I have eaten here many times. I like to vary the food I eat which means I have tried many of the dishes, each time they have been amazing. The members of staff attention to detail, friendly demeanor and willingness to please add to the dining experience.

Quite disappointed compared to other Ivy branches. My steak was overcooked and served without rock salt. Waiter shrugged his shoulders 🤷‍♂️. Will not eat here again but instead will continue to visit the St John’s Wood branch
