My friends and I went to this place for our graduation celebration. We’re very warm welcome by Somil. He’s the best server we could ever ask for.

So, I had a great meal served by a delightful young lady, but when it came time to pay the bill, the first one I was shown charged me for two 1917 dinners (two courses) yet I had eaten alone. Fortunately, this was rectified by the charming young lady. I redeemed points that I had to a value of £18 or thereabouts, and that showed on the bill, but then the money I spent above and aside from that redemption does not appear to have garnered me any more points. Strange. Despite the lovely service and excellent food (and due also to the billing error) I may have to reconsider my dining choices in the future. Be warned, my friends, always check the bill.

Had a lovely lunch with complimentary champagne - due to previous disaster. Food was good. Presented really well. The scallops were over cooked probably because they are so small but the overall taste was good. Service was excellent and the experience has restored my faith in the brand. Be back soon.

We found this place online, and thought that it would be a good place to end our vacation. During our time in the restaurant we had all of our service on time and nice, this was all the doing of Somil👍. One of our steaks was a little bit burned, and Somil made sure we got a better steak, and that we didn’t had to pay for the burned one. We had a really pleasent time in ‘The Ivy’ and if we ever come back to London we will be back! (And thanks Somil, you were really kind😉)

I have eaten at The Ivy in Oxford and loved the experience and the food, so my friend and I went for dinner after seeing a show. The music was so loud that we were finding it hard to chat. I had the fish and chips again as it was amazing when I had it in Oxford. It was nothing special this time. I’ve had better from a fish and chip shop. I also felt it was rude that staff were walking around every so often with iPads looking to see where you were with your dining. It was so obvious that they wanted you out as soon as possible. And then there was the 13% surcharge!!!! Not sure what we were paying that for. The service was not outstanding. It was such a shame way to finish our day.

Martina gave us breath taking service from the moment we walked through the doors. The ambiance was top tier in the restaurant and then Martina’s personable personality really sealed the meal for us. The food was DELICIOUS, I was in a food coma after! My bestfriend was surprised with a delicious dessert for her birthday and it really set the tone for our mini vacay. We cannot wait to come back and see Martina and to relax in this space again!

We had a great dinner with my 5.5 year old daughter. The dishes were tasty and well served. The neat and pleasant decoration. The service was very friendly and professional (thanks to Merline). Downside for the noise in the room, difficult to hear each other and converse. This is partly due to the success of the establishment and its large size. We will come back.

Really cozy restaurant with nice interior and good atmosphere. We were there on Valentine's Day and there was lots of good atmosphere. The food was okay but not terribly good.

The Avocado and roasted tomato toast was not good. Really dry and the tomatoes had no taste to them. The Bircher Müsli was way too small. Overall the price and the food didn’t meet my expectations.

Very disappointing visit. I've been to the Ivy Soho many times before and never had any complaints, but this time was a let down. The French onion soup was cold; the plate it arrived on was dirty and had spinach from the previous diner on it. The women's toilets were, frankly, disgusting and I wasn't the only one that decided to not use them.

Highly overrated brasserie. The food was average at best. The service was slow and perfunctory. The atmosphere is lovely and the only saving grace. This is nit picky but I only wanted water to drink and I am fine with tap water. Didn’t realise that I was being charged £6 for still water. With so much to choose in Soho I recommend looking elsewhere.

The food is like something from the supermarket and the staff have little to no skills regarding etiquette or customer interaction. Won’t waste my time or money again.

Typical franchise restaurant for the middle and lower class. The interior very nice. The food with a British measure is quite good. The staff is the weakest point, really hectic.

Minute beef was underwhelmed. Which was a pity as the starter of sour dough with butter was awesome. Hot chocolate was yummy too.

Great location, great food, always reliable. Our waitress Emine was amazing, we told her we had a time limit to get to theatre, and she got all our food out quickly, and even advised us when we needed to order dessert if we wanted one. Top service, thank you

I had a corporate group at Ivy Soho Brasserie a couple of weeks ago and the team were brilliant, the staff were very professional and accommodated all our requests on the night. The client very much enjoyed their dining experience and I will definitely be booking the restaurant again.

We visited to celebrate an 18th birthday and I’m pretty embarrassed at how bad it was. What should have been a meal to celebrate we will all remember for the wrong reasons. After being seated it took around 20 mins for someone to take any order, by that time we’d had plenty of time to choose food and drinks. Out of the two appetisers (olives and bread) one never came and the bread arrived with the mains!. Sparkling water was ordered…it never arrived…one portion of chips also never showed up. The waiting staff were barely ever seen and never came to check on us. The service was slow and lacklustre and inattentive. So much so we gave up on the idea of dessert and wanted to leave. Needless to say the bill contained all the missing items plus a service charge on top. Really unimpressed and to top it all the main ladies toilets were all blocked and had issues…not nice. Definitely paying over £200 for a one course meal is terrible value for 4 people. Will not be returning and am just so disappointed about the experience. The only good thing I can say is that the waiter did bring a small celebratory cake at the end but by that point it was too late. The items were removed from the bill at my request but no gesture was made. Just poor.

Great private dining room for an event, we hosted our clients for a corporate breakfast event. The food, service and location was spot on. Would highly recommend!

Loved our visit to this restaurant. We were celebrating a special birthday and Natasha made a fuss of the birthday girl with Prosecco and a desert. The food was delicious and the service excellent. Natasha seemed to really enjoy her work and made sure our celebration was special. I would definitely go back again.

Wildly overpriced for what you get.

Visited late January as a couple and had a fantastic evening. We returned in March and what a difference. Repeatedly asking for cutlery, side dishes arriving so late into the meal, leaving the table to find a waiter to replenish drinks. Waiters chatting at the bar whilst empty glasses & plates are left. Such a shame as the venue is fantastic and for that reason the customers will keep coming. Rude management & very poor service.

Amazing dinner with my husband in the Ivy SoHo. Food was brilliant, but the service was absolutely outstanding. Pavlina was so attentive and considerate, she completely made our evening that bit more special.

We preferred it for the New Year’s Eve dinner. Everything was very nice. You should try crispy zucchini. ❤️🎄

Upon entering you are greeted with professionalism and courtesy. We had some drinks at the bar made with skill and elegance. They accompanied us to the table and Simone pampered us from start to finish. A small food requirement was not met but Simone knew how to make it "forgiven". Thanks London, thanks Simone.

It became very average You pay a steak that is shit + you have to pay for extra sauce and chips. Don't mind paying but it as to be good

Exceptional Service and a Delightful Dining Experience We recently visited The Ivy Soho for lunch and were immediately struck by the lively and bustling atmosphere. Despite the restaurant being quite busy and seemingly understaffed, we were fortunate to be looked after by Marin, a wonderful Thai waitress whose exceptional service truly elevated our experience. From the moment we arrived, Marin went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. With no receptionist in sight, she graciously assisted with our coats and personally guided us to our table, all while radiating warmth and kindness. Her smile alone set the tone for a fantastic meal. The food was simply outstanding—beautifully presented, bursting with flavor, and cooked to perfection. The ambiance of the restaurant was equally delightful, creating the perfect setting for an enjoyable lunch. Despite the initial concern about staffing levels, Marin’s attentive and professional service ensured that we lacked for nothing. She truly made our visit memorable. Five-star service, exquisite cuisine, and an inviting atmosphere—what more could you ask for? We savored every moment and will most certainly be returning soon!

I had a great experience when I visited this restaurant for dinner. Lovely atmosphere, tasty food, but what really stood out to me was the amazing service we got. A lady in a blue jacket served us, I beleive her name was Emily or something like that. She was very attentive and chatty, gave brilliant recommendations and really made us feel at home. Will definitely be returning!

I decided to try the chicken Penang curry with rice here and although it didn’t taste very authentic, it was tasty. I like the added coconut flakes for additional crunchy texture. Good consistent service that you can expect from The Ivy. Nice venue with relaxing atmosphere.

I can't give it a lower rating than the maximum because it truly has been an incredible experience from the moment you walk through the door and they greet you with a broad smile and professionalism and accompany you to your table. The treatment is unbeatable, they have a not very extensive menu but everything is specialized and very good. We ordered the Onion Soup, the lamb beef pie and the traditional fish and chips and everything was delicious. Especially the meat pie, it was amazing, I recommend ordering it. Price, in general, high, but worth it for the quality of the product and the treatment. In addition to typical British food, they are specialists in cocktails, they have a wide range of alcoholic drinks. Comfortable seats and pleasant music.

Food and atmosphere was great. Forgot about our appetizer, and messed up our desert but made it up in taste of food!

Everything was going smoothly until our dessert was refused due to the length of time it would take to serve it, and we were informed that we had run out of time! In my opinion, this was neither professional nor courteous, as I am certain they could have offered a more customer-friendly solution. If they had simply invited us to enjoy our dessert at the bar and explained how Saturday night is typically a busy night, anything other than what they did would have been acceptable and more considerate. An otherwise enjoyable meal was marred by dissatisfactory service.

Great stylish restaurant with tasty food, good set meals, friendly and helpful staff. Just variety of dishes could be a bit better as it used to be. However I guess this is due to the high inflation - The Ivy still wants to let people enjoy the meal keeping the same price but need to play with the food options.

Booked yesterday for my daughter’s birthday. The staff were good and attentive. The food however was not. We both ordered fish and chips. The fish batter was raw underneath and fish was a bit pink. Not realising until I had ate half. We pointed this out to the staff who refunded the price of the dishes. I was really disappointed as had previously visited the ivy in Chelsea garden and the fish and chips were the best I had in years. Please get your chef to get some training from the Chelsea Ivy in order for the fish and chips to be better than it was yesterday the batter was so thick I think they put in too much flour in the batter.

A true London experience in that the food was absolutely nothing to write home about. Scallops were dry, steak was over cooked (despite asking for medium rare) and therefore spongy and impossible to chew. The ambiance was great though, beautiful interior decor.

What an absolute disaster of a place . We booked a table for 2 for a birthday the very unfriendly lady on the front desk said yes I have your booking and then managed to sit us on the worst table she could find in between the wall were the waiters leave their till and a couple of really loud people who were talking so loud you couldn’t actually here yourself think. !! The table area was so small I had to sit with my legs to the side as I couldn’t fit them comfortably under the table ! The service was slow , the drinks were not doubles as requested the bar staff just put an extra ice cube thinking that we wouldn’t notice well we did notice you were charging for doubles yet giving singles , the starters were ok but what was frustrating walk in guests were coming in off the street no bookings and when they arrived they were given massive tables for example a woman by herself by a nice corner table another 2 customers got a large table designed for 4 !! This was not nice for us two sitting in this tiny table which reminded me of Paris tables certainly not London . After finishing starters the plates were not cleared for a good 25 minutes even though staff were constantly passing to put new glasses and menus etc on empty tables no one bothered to actually clear our table for our next course. I went to see the host to enquire why they had given us the worst table in the restaurant and could it be they were busy , he said no they are not busy and fid not understand why these sat us there !!! Then a lady tried to make things better by moving us to a normal table designed for 2 people with legs this time and gave us a free drink but to be honest after the first part of the experience being so bad we were already not expecting good things . The main course had been floating around whilst all this was going on and finally arrived and was nothing special or tasty and a bit cold too !! Then again finishing the course the long long wait to get the table cleared 20 mins gone by asking the lady who helped can you help us again , table then cleared, dessert menus thrown at us literally again the lady helped as the staff were way to busy chatting and messing around in the mainly empty restaurant! To be blunt this place was good maybe in the past they ruined my birthday lunch and the staff should be retrained and whoever owns the place maybe needs to invest in some training and etiquette for the staff ! Your IVY Soho is a big joke !

Arrived 10 mins early for 0830 breakfast. Made to wait outside, wasn’t allowed to enter the premises or use the bathrooms. Simple scrambled egg on toast order, eggs were cold and toast was too tough to cut. Pretty poor to get a basic so wrong.

The overall dinner experience was very average. Decor overshadowed the food experience. I prefer the Ivy breakfast experience, food, service and atmosphere was much better for me. The desert looked inviting but it won’t be one I remember. It was just underwhelming because of the excessive hype.
