Bywood Fish Bar in Croydon

We have used this fish and chip shop for years and it has always been very good. Last nights Cod and chips was beyond excellent. Perfect crisp batter with succulent fish and loads of chippies!

Such a shame they don't deliver, they are the best in Croydon. Fish and chips are the really nice, large portions. My family's favourite.

Cod & Chips were nice but expensive. I waited a while to be served and was quite surprised how expensive it was. The fish was nice bit small.

Me and my family love coming to this fish and chip shop. Everything is cooked fresh and tastes amazing. The men that run it are also very friendly and they provide a quick and efficient service.

I popped in on a way home from work que was small but the service was quick and punctual. I had Cod and Chips and was more than a meal for one but was delicious

Staff are friendly and welcoming. Fish cooked well, along with the chips. Decent portions. I go here all the time...:)

We have never had a bad fish and chip (with the occasional battered sausage thrown in for good measure!) supper from the lovely guys at the Bywood Fish bar. The portion sizes are huge and the fish and chips are always freshly cooked. The cod is what my mum calls "proper cod", big juicy flakes of fish rather than the small tightly messed fish you get in some take-away fish bars. Really can't recommend Bywood Fish Bar highly enough.

Always great fish or whatever else you fancy with chips (big portions). The guys that run it are always friendly. Very clean.

My local Fish and Chip shop, but I'm not biased in my praise for it. Never greasy and the fish is always perfectly cooked. Very generous portion of chips too. Highly recommended.

Great chips and fish. Good service and friendly staff and the prices are reasonable as well. Nothing fancy but provides a very good standard of food. A large chips is enough to feed 2/3 people. Part of a rank of shops so you can get a bottle of wine/beers to go with the meal. Recommended.
