This was unfortunately our first food experience in London. It was close to our hotel. The food was awful. We ordered the beef wellington for two and it was flavorless. My sons mac n cheese was like glue and he refused to eat it. My daughters fish was fine but greasy. It was so loud we literally couldnt hear each other sitting right next to each other. Very pricey which is fine if you get what you pay for. We went to another steakhouse tonight and paid alot more but the food was amazing. You do not get even close to what your paying for here. Absolutely skip this place.

Our waiter Yeasin gave us the BEST service, super impressed with him. He made everyone on the table feel special. Shoutout to Chef Noufel who visited our table, his food was spectacular. We will definitely come back soon!

Our visit to this place was not the pleasant one as our expectations were. The is a difference in the prices online, and they are higher in the restaurant. It was not indicated clearly that some food is hot and spicy, especially when it is ordered by a kid. Finally, we ordered one kind of wine, but we received the most expensive. In fact, we do notice it just when we received the bill and there is nothing to do but pay it. So, be very careful what you order and what you receive if you decide to visit that place. Finally, the food was really good, the wine too.

Enjoyed a fabulous lunch here. Really chilled atmosphere, and faultless, attentive service from Matteo.

Steak was served as just a steak even though this was a set menu and was meant to have potatoes and veg with it chefs had forgotten to do the rest of the meal and we were sent chips Not good enough and especially as it was an extra £12.50 to have the steak on the first place on top of a set menu at £50 a head Disgraceful

First time in UK after 20 years!! I Came to have lunch with a friend to celebrate the old days and I couldn't ask for a better experience. Service was spot on and not invasive and good recommendations! Thanks Matteo for all your help. You made the day memorable!

I went to celebrate my mother’s birthday and I wasn’t expecting a big surprise from the lovely attentive manager Thai who sang and gave us a celebration plate. It makes all the difference. Thanks Thai you were absolutely wonderful.

We visited Bread Street Kitchen and Bar for an evening meal. Every element of the meal was delicious and the atmosphere was pleasant. By far the best part of the experience was the exceptional service from Gabriel and his team. Attentive throughout with high attention to detail and really personable. Outstanding service highly recommended.

We had our meal at this restaurant today. Unfortunately, we were hugely disappointed! But now to the details: the portion of my meal was super small and the meat of my spare ribs was riddled with gristle. It was very difficult to find any edible meat at all. For a price of 36 pounds, we really expected something better. My wife had a César salad which wasn't any better. My daughter's portion of meatballs was also of inferior quality. All in all, a big disappointment! After speaking to the restaurant manager, we were only told that they couldn't do anything about the meat and that they only prepare what is delivered. No attempt was made to alleviate our disappointment. We got the feeling that the staff hasn’t heard such complaints for the first time given their reaction. We should have been suspicious that we were able to get a table for 8 people without a long-term reservation. The restaurant was hardly busy throughout the evening, which wouldn't be surprising, given the experience we had, if such a service were to become standard. In any case, we won't be visiting this restaurant chain again. A big name isn't everything...

We went for the beef wellington and were not disappointed. The starters and desserts were also great. Our waiter Mattel also did a great job.

Good food, however nothing exceptionnal for the price and a long wait to be served. So ok if you want to say you have been to a Gordon Ramsay but there are much better options in the area.

Patricia the server was an incredible person and such a delight for our evening, very much enhanced our stay!

Fantastic service! It was my first time visiting Bread Street with my partner for our 2 year anniversary and our server Matteo was amazing! He gave us lots of recommendations which all tasted delicious. Very attentive! We were well taken care of which was just what we needed to celebrate our special day!

Average food at massively overinflated prices, even for London. Good and friendly service but really cheeky to ask of you want water as you sit down and then charge you for it. Wouldn't recommend and wouldn't come back.

I came for lunch with some friends and we all had such a great time! The food was fantastic but my experience wouldn't have been so memorable if it wasn't for the 5-star service that Matteo provided. It really makes a difference when you feel well looked after. He helped us with the menu and gave us the best recommendations, depending on what we told him we like. Will definitely be returning and can't wait to try more of the delicious cocktails!

Only reason not for 1 star was waiting staff who were good, place was busy, but he was very fast and efficient. An average wine and an average meal VERY overpriced even for London- every taste was bland. No difference in quality to a Whetherspoons I'm afraid.

Matteo was amazing - helped us with ordering as we couldn’t pick out of all the incredible options! We had the cod which was exquisite and the sea bream which was delightful. Scallops melted on the tongue and don’t get us started on the Black Forest cheesecake. Was divine and definitely recommend!

Very bad restaurant. We went with the intention of trying the beef wellington. As soon as we arrived, the restaurant manager and the table manager made an incredible advertising for us to try the beef wellington, to which we said yes. All this only to be told 1 minute later that they would no longer do it. Imagine the disappointment, the person responsible for the restaurant and the table disappeared, without giving a justification. Then, I order a beer from the house menu that I like, they say they don't have it, despite it being on the menu. Conclusion: They didn't have the food we wanted, nor the drink we wanted, despite it being advertised on the menu. It would be a good idea to ask the chef from the Kitchen Nightmare program for help in rehabilitating the restaurant. Just suggesting. What this chef demands so much from others apparently is not practiced in his restaurant.

Lovely place for a saturday night, great food and desserts specially the BSK burguer, beef carpaccio and the black forest cheesecake everything suggested by our server Carlos. Top service and nice atmosphere. We will look forward to come back!!!

Food was good - solid variety of choices which wont disappoint. Chill and relax atmosphere. Am here on business so a great option near the hotel after a full day. Well stocked bar was a nice plus. Carlos was our waiter, he provided great service and offered very helpful recommendations from the menu and for places to see London.

Milo and Messi gave us absolutely outstanding service. The outing was very good and I enjoyed the world class food.

We were in there for first time as my dad wanted to try one of the restaurants of Gordon Ramsey. The food was exceptional, fish and chips, chicken curry or the cod to highlight. Our spanish server Carlos was very helpful suggesting wine and mains.

Excellent food, especially the scallops and tuna tartare! Also, a great atmosphere and great service from our waiter, Carlos. I look forward to returning!

We visited this restaurant as we had a virgin experience voucher. The voucher was really easy to use. The restaurant was lovely. Everything came out in a good time. Meal was nice. Staff were lovely. Matteo was a good server.

We had a lovely time when we came to visit the food was good but what made it a great experience was our waiter Matteo super friendly and funny gave us great recommendations and also explained the menus to us and when we needed anything he was always there the service was 10/10

I had a lovely night with my husband at the venue. We had planned visitng a while ago and it totally lived up to my expectations. My husband loved the burger. It has a nice atmosphere and attentive staff, especially Matteo who recommended the cauliflower curry when I said I was vegetarian. We want to bring our friends as we're sure they'll love it, too

Fabulous cocktail making with Cristine at the bar. Huge skill & wonderful drinks - delivered with an understated kindness in a welcoming & stylish ambience. The platter of starters was fab too - tuna wasabi, tamarind chicken wings and beef carpaccio. Thoroughly recommended.

They did not have an overview of lactose-free food. After ordering the main course and wine, they came back with the message that it was not possible for the lamb I had ordered. Also asked if we wanted to aerate the bottle of red wine that we had ordered for the main course. I politely said no, and explained that since the main course didn't turn out as we thought, we might have to look at other options. It was now only possible to have lactose-free fish or vegan as a main course, and then I ordered another starter. Scallops. Thank God that one of my children had ordered a fish and chips for main course, (adult portion) of which I could take the leftovers. For my main course consisted of two tiny scallops. And they would have liked to have informed about that in advance. They also brought the dessert menu before our main course had arrived. Fantastic atmosphere, but not exactly top service.

I was on there for first time on Saturday with my wife and uncle. Food was superb we had all of us a rib eye steak mouth watering! Our server Carlos was amazing and on top of everything during our experience. We will definitely come back!!

Nice location combined with a bar next door. Prices a bit high, but it's London. The drinks menu, especially beer, could be a little larger. Food was good.

Took my family here for I thought was going to be one of the best meals we’ve had, wrong. Everything was below par, and to say Gordon goes round other people’s restaurants criticising them, I think you need to look closer to home pal and concentrate on your own restaurants because what we witnessed was definitely below average. Shameful for the price.

Didn’t even get to sit down! Ushered out by the manager from his lofty tower at the kitchen station! Walked in to a completely empty restaurant at 1555 apart from one table of two. The whole kitchen and waiting staff were stood at the kitchen, one nervous waiter ventured down and we asked if they had a table for an hour for two adults and a child. The waiter turned to the manager who shouted across the restaurant and shook his hands “we’re fully booked” his voice echoing across the empty restaurant. Went round the corner to a lovely independent who were busy happy to seat us . Judging by Gordon Ramsey’s recent posts at the Super Bowl I guess his staff are happy to lose business as he clearly doesn’t need the money.

The red wine was smooth as silk !!! We ordered prawn cocktails for our starters and loved the tender steak with juicy flavours. Staffs were really friendly and hats off to Fariha for her kind gestures and patience with the guest. Would recommend visiting here for your special lunch or dinner . Overall 4/5 !!!

Massively overpriced and too far to long to serve food.

It's a nice enough environment and no complaints about the food or the service which were both good, it was just very quiet and lacking atmosphere, which for a relatively pricey meal out you may find a bit disappointing.

Went at a quite time, so atmosphere wise was lacking , food was nice especially the lobster bisque starter and cheesecake for dessert but was not blown away by my main course and for the prices and name attached maybe just had too high expectations. Overall would return at a busier time and try a different main next time!

Maybe I was expecting too much but I wasn’t as impressed with the food as I thought I would be, having been to Gordon Ramsay street burger restaurant which was excellent. It took a while for the food and bread basket to arrive on a quiet Saturday afternoon. The staff were very nice the cocktails were good: sweet Carolina ( a lychee and passion fruit) martini and raspberry mojito with a clever fruit ice basket on top. The scallops starter was delicious but be warned are very small. Warning do not eat the green seaweed under the scallop shells - it is plastic not edible !! 😂 If you order the delicious sea bream with roasted squash and spinach make sure you order a side dish. It literally is a portion of fish with spinach under it and a nice tasting but disappointingly watery squash purée. No roasted veg included. Perhaps the waiting staff should inform diners of this. Luckily for me one of my friends didn’t want all of their fries! The fat chips a couple of my party ordered for their fish and chips meal were undercooked. Not good. The desserts were great: chocolate fondant with salted caramel ice cream is a very sweet treat and they did allow my friend to have vanilla ice cream instead. Those who got the black forest cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding really enjoyed their dishes too. At £407 for 5 it is pricey to not be totally satisfied. Will I return? Mixed feelings so unlikely. .

Service was a bit slow, we asked for cloakroom to put our coats away, and were told it was fully booked for a private event, only to see other customers put their coats away in an empty cloakroom. Food was very disappointing, so bland I had to ask for salt and pepper to add some taste. Asked for a portion of rice and received an 3/4 empty bowl. The waiter was more interested in upselling us all sorts for an already overpriced dinner. We actually went to eat elsewhere after we left. Again, well overpriced, save your money, don't bother.

Went there for a work dinner and had a Very disappointing meal. The service was very poor - bottles of wine took 20-30 minutes to come, my colleague ordered dessert that didn't come at all. The starters were decent, but the burger was dry. Not worth the price, and Gordon Ramsey would have lost it if he were there.

We were 4 people who tried different dishes. Beef Wellington and pork belly were delicious. Lobster tasted good but it was hidden under the toppings. The interior was nice but a bit loud. Our table was next to the walkway which was distracting. The service was friendly.

Upon arriving the venue it was not quite what I expected, not a huge fan of the street burger restaurant underneath this one but so be it! Greeted very nicely and seated where menu was explained and we had a lovely server throughout. Summarising is easier for this venue is much easier as we both had the same 3 courses. Starting with the tamarind wings which were juicy, meaty, sticky and very full of flavour, loaded with herbs too which worked very well and it helped to have a wet wipe available to clean our hands! For mains we both opted for the burger which was really tasty, the meat very soft and flavoursome and the bun not too soft and soggy. The sticky toffee puddings were not bad, probably the weakest course of the 3 but still decent, tasted good but could have maybe been a little lighter and fluffier. Cocktails very tasty as well and an overall good experience. Would happily visit again!

Our son is a big Ramsay’s fan and decided to give a try his speciality when we are in town. Atmosphere was great, Beef wellington was impressive, however the bestest was Gabriel the Angel. He even went to extra mile by giving Ramsay’s book to our son. What an experience! See you again soon Gabriel

Excellent food and service, 10/10 recommend this place. Maitre D' was very knowledgeable of food and the menu, and his dish and beverage suggestions were a hit with my party.
