Quirky lugar con un montón de café antiguo y yo las máquinas. Parece que ha estado ahí por siempre, pero no lo ha hecho. Boxeo/ decoración temática teatral/ recuerdos. El café era sabroso grano tostado en las instalaciones

20 de enero de 2025 . Estamos trabajando en el lugar cercano y hemos visitado numerosas veces para tomar café y almuerzo estas últimas 2 semanas. Hoy he vuelto a usar el baño. El barman me persiguió, me gritó en la calle y me amenazó con noquearme. ¡PERSONAL AGRESIVO! ¡EVITA POR TU PROPIA SEGURIDAD!

Nos cobraron 6 libras. 50 por un 0% Guinness y £ 4. 05 por una limonada. La cuenta era de £ 10. 55 por dos refrescos - estafa total. Cuando le pregunté al personal del bar, él se encogió de hombros y miró hacia otro lado.

Bonito bar, diferente de su pub habitual, apareció en sábado, el servicio al cliente era genial de Bryan y James te hizo sentir bienvenido, sin duda volveremos cuando en la zona 😊

I’m sure this place is fun for drinks. The food however was bad. I ordered the Brie and caramelised onion with rocket. The onion was raw, and the rocket was brown and shrivelled. Also ordered a side of hash brown which was oily and wet, and they charged me £10 for this side… insane pricing for very disappointing food. The staff were incredibly unhelpful too.

Enjoyed the experience. Good drinks and friendly service BUT, when we came to pay, it was all ruined. The prices were different to what we were told when ordering. When I asked the girl behind the bar, she was so rude to me saying "it's service charge" and that I "should have common sense" to know that. I said it would have be nice if that was mentioned at the start as there were no menus at all and she just retorted "ok, Bye" WOW. Won't be going back. Disgusting behaviour.

Been loving this place ever since I stumbled on it, cozy atmosphere and great coffee got me hooked. Did not even know about the food til I tried it and now it’s fully part of my routine! Also got to mention the terrace, one of the best views on the canal I found in the area. Can’t wait for Summer when this will be the loveliest spot in town

Food quality very bad - left feeling like I could have made that 10x better at home - couldn’t bring myself to finish it : food appears to have just been bought from Tesco over the road and carelessly thrown together . I dont ever leave reviews but felt so dissatisfied by this place

This is a beautiful spot with great vibes, if you are lucky enough to be served by Alexandra you are blessed, everyone if very friendly and generous of spirit. Food and drinks both hard and soft, come and have a look :)

The service exceeded all expectations. When I woke up this morning I never knew that I would have such a perfect day. Alex was an essential part of this! Just randomly popped into this place at the end of the first part of our Jubilee Greenway walk. It's a small place, buy cosy, the staff was nice, the tea was good and the honey cake was unreal! Hands down one of the best cakes I ever had, definitely coming back for more!!

I visited for breakfast on a Sunday morning after the gym. Why only three stars? First of all, this is a small venue and it was crowded. It was dominated by a single group. I’ve certainly had my dose of overhearing banal millennial conversation for the year (I say that as a millennial myself). Given the size of the venue, dogs should either be left outside or kept under control (I say this as a dog owner and lover). Staff were friendly. I ordered a full English breakfast and the food quality was unfortunately poor - cheap fatty bacon, cheap sausage and almost embarrassingly cheap white bread. I asked for brown bread - they didn’t not have any and sourdough is extra for a breakfast that already cost £9.50. I would be surprised if the ingredients cost £1. I live very near to this cafe and I’m a huge supporter of local business in Haggerston and Hackney but this place can and should do a bit better. Coffee (skinny latte) was passable. I hate to say this but I will not be rushing back.

Just stopped for family breakfast by convenience and intrigued by the location and appearance. Staff were very friendly. Coffee was rich. Both the sourdough and the bagels very of good quality.

Cute little cafe with the most amazing dirty chai!! Try one! One of us also had pancakes too - very nice.

There was a friendly welcome to two dripping walkers. We were walking the canal - in the rain! A couple of drinks and some warm sandwiches refreshed us and set us off on the way again.

3 bottles of San Miguel = £16.50..!!! At mid-afternoon on a Thursday. Otherwise it’s a relatively cosy cafe and the vegetarian food looked quite good although we didn’t try it

Cozy coffee shop with friendly and helpful staff - made a drink to meet my specific dietary restriction, which I appreciated. Also, we were there at closing time and we felt no pressure to leave. This independent local business deserves to be supported.

A warm atmosphere with a large menu. I Tried Vegetarian Bagel, whilst my OH got Breakfast Bagel. They were good.

Es aproximadamente el mismo precio de otras tiendas de café en la zona, sin embargo no es la misma calidad. El café siempre gustos quemados, más tostados y no tiene la profundidad de un gran café. En la mayoría de pop sólo una vez al mes para comodidad de la esperanza de una mejora, pero si hay que clavar a este yo todos los días ya que está en mi trayecto.

He caminado por este lugar un par de veces y siempre quise ir. Me alegro de haberlo hecho. El helado de café era delicioso y el panini era perfecta. Para rematar las dos señoras fueron tan amables y positivas que me hizo querer volver. Sin duda lo recomiendo!

Ordered a flat white and it was very milky - didn’t really taste like coffee unfortunately! Location was nice however and I’m sure the food would have been ok.

Vivo en Kingsland Road y había pasado el By the Bridge Cafe muchas veces antes de visitar. Estoy feliz de haberlo hecho Los precios eran decentes relevantes para el tamaño de las porciones y también participaba en la pequeña promoción de la tienda AMEX. Desafortunadamente, estaba muy ocupado cuando lo visité un sábado por la mañana y el espacio para sentarse es limitado. Hacía demasiado frío para sentarse afuera, así que me senté en uno de los taburetes y la repisa con vista a Kingsland Rd. La repisa no es lo suficientemente grande para un plato grande. La comida era buena, aunque no es lo que pedí, pedí un plato de aguacate y me trajeron algo bastante diferente. No soy quisquilloso con la comida y fue delicioso, ¡pero probablemente deberían avisarle antes de que se sirva el plato de que algo no está en stock! El batido de zanahoria era delicioso: volvería a pedirlo. En general, fue una buena experiencia y volveré. Sugerencias: el desayuno inglés completo solo se sirve hasta cierto tiempo; prueba y toma una mesa en la zona de asientos principal.

Hace poco visité (dos veces) este acogedor café y tuve un momento de relax tomando una taza caliente de café recién hecho mientras contemplaba las tranquilas aguas del canal. Ofrecen muy buenos sándwiches y pasteles, así como deliciosos zumos de frutas. El hombre detrás del mostrador es amable y entrega su pedido con prontitud. La decoración peculiar complementa el ambiente tranquilo. Gran experiencia de desayuno!

A great brunch and lunch stop off. Take away available as well. Really great atmosphere and friendly staff. Food freshly prepared and varied. Highly recommended. I have eaten here a number of times.

This cosy and welcoming cafe serves delicious food and has excellent staff! I am not a Londoner and the lovely barista went out of her way to help me get a taxi after my visit which was really kind and helpful. Thank you!

Chilled out for half an hour in this great little cafe next to regents canal. Sat at table by window to watch canal and towpath activity. Great value too

Friendly staff, warm and cosy environment and a delicious chai latte! Didn't eat but the food looked tasty. Not an extensive menu but great for a snack.

Mother in law is a regular with my daughter and when I ran in from the rain today I was greeted with the same friendly smile I had been told about. Excellent coffee in a cute space over looking the canal. Perfect to pick up a coffee on your way to a meeting or to meet with a friend or two ....

Too early for my meeting so I popped in here for a coffee and a nibble. What a great welcome and truly lovely people who run this place. I had a croissant with ham and cheese which was fresh a delicious. Nice cappuccino too. Very reasonable prices. Clean and interesting decor. Definitely come again when I'm in the area.

I come here almost every morning when I am at home in London!The staff is always amazing and coming here make's you feel at home in good old cold London! Great coffee and croissants, great food.I often come here also for a smoothie and a quick sandwich when I'm working at home!Would recommend with friends or a quick business coffee!

We stumbled on this absolutely delightful café following a very, very cold and windy walk, frozen and feeling hungry. We are so pleased that we stepped inside to receive a very warm welcome and hot drinks, followed by the most delicious ciabattas, very generously filled with scrumptious goodies and beautifully hot. We were so very pleased to find this haven of good food, drinks and most of all not only the warmth of the cafe, but the two people who cooked and served our food. We really do so hope that we will be able to visit again. Thank you so very much both of you.

Stop for hot chocolate on my way, attracted by nice picture on the window. Though will be different. Nice location and probably good place to chill.

We popped into this unassuming little cafe one Sunday afternoon and were pleasantly surprised by the warmth and quality of the shop and coffee. Friendly and efficient service. We had time to kill and we didn't feel pressured to move on after we finished our drinks (and a tasty little cake) we read the papers in comfort. its not an area we frequent but if we were ever in the area again we'd surely go back.

nice place. just opened. cant say much but coffee gets a very high rating for sure. In time more reviews will prove that I believe. Other than that its right by the regents canal which is a very popular spot in Haggerston riviera in Hackney.
