Only been to the Butchers Arms for Sunday roast but they are quite superb and the plate is bulging. Friendly staff and country pub surroundings - who could want for more.

Típico pub británico. Ambiente confortable.

This looks so good as you enter the village from the car park. Inside the decorating is really good. They also serve coffee from a cute truck outside. We had nice coffee's.

Lovely food and lovely people. Sunday lunch is enormous and with pudding included in price, this is not for the dieters! Plenty of choice of menu through the week. Have been here many times.

New Owners to what was a village pub with a good reputation, alas it is true what they say never return to a place where the memories were good. Food only available on two evenings, very poor quality peas and carrots are the only veg available on our visit. Beer choice poor and not well kept, service slow. The people that use this pub are very unsavoury that is to say that the language is not what is expected in the presence of female company, and will not under any circumstances return.

Went here on a Friday afternoon for lunch. The menu is varied with quite a few choices. It was quiet on the day we went. Food was good and service was ok.

We stayed here for a pit stop overnight when visiting family in a nearby village and this place didn't disappoint. We received a very warm welcome from the landlord and landlady and check in was a breeze. They have a great selection of alcohol and it was really pleasing to see a village pub so busy. The building itself is stunning and much larger than I thought it would be with an extended restaurant and outdoor area with seating. The room had everything we needed for the night, including a bath and a shower and it overlooked the town square which was nice and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and we slept soundly. Our room was number 2. The breakfast menu has something for everyone with a selection of cooked and non cooked options and you can tell quality ingredients were used. It was a shame this was a flying visit as the the evening and Sunday lunch menu looked fantastic and we will be sure to try these on our next visit. Overall we felt very welcomed and the pub has a very homely feel to it, we will be sure to stay again next time we are passing.
