Burgy's in Mid Sussex

i ordered a half roast chicken and a buffalo chicken burger witch was dry and hard and chips were like cardboard my sister had a shish kebab with only 5 bits of meat and took nearly 2 hours to arrive never again

At the moment this restaurant is clearly having delivery issues. Was told 1 hour took two and then the food was stone cold. Just dont bother

Ordered food via just eat. Food was due to be delivered at 7.30, did not arrive. Called three times each time given an excuse and they tried to put the phone down before we could complain further. Cancelled via Just Eat. The driver then turns up at 8.40 and he said 'do you want it yes or no'. If you can't cope with orders then you shouldn't offer delivery service. Will never go to this restaurant. I tend not to write reviews but would not want anyone to waste their time with this restaurant!!

Taste of Turkey at Burgys ....Which should be renamed "Olu Deniz" ....... I have dined out here for 20 years and the restaurant has seen some major changes lately ...my favourite is the toasted bacon and egg sandwich washed down with tea....or shish chicken salad with garlic mayo ...in the evening. Hot apple pie and ice cream to finish. or hot chocolate fudge cake!! With over 8.000 km of coastline and over 459 blue flag beaches, Turkey makes the perfect spot for beach holidays. Turkish coastline has some of the most beautiful pristine beaches in Europe, often with a backdrop of lush green forests and just a stone's throw from an archaeological treasure. Many secluded beaches can be enjoyed by relaxed boat trips available from the resorts.

Currently still waiting a £51 delivery over 2 hours late have rang twice still waiting on food have been told its on its way twice now no discount no sorry phone has been put down do not order from here disappointed to say the least when arrived food that was told had allergy has sauce all over it and cold brilliant service 🤣

Went to Burgys with my partner, i ordered a large fry up and she ordered scampi and chips. 1, Eggs cold in the middle 2, No beans on a fry up???? 3, Cheapest sausage ever 4, Gave wrong change. Scampi + chips 1, No lemon with scampi 2. Scampi was charred I will never revisit a food establishment that cant fry an egg!

Food nice eating in ,delivery service avoid at all costs.I ordered garlic bread was very burnt how they have the nerve to deliver it in that state I don’t know.They seem to have a problem getting the order right never get the drinks right ordered Pepsi get Diet Coke ordered Fanta get lilt.After a few times of ordering will never use them again.I get the feeling they are probably laughing their heads off while they pack the takeaway burnt food .

Never usually have a problem but tonight was awful. Was told the food would be 50minutes but got it 2 1/2 hours later. Each time I called it was going to be 20 minutes. Gave up & asked for a refund which they didn’t want to do & hung up on us. Phoned again to be told 5 minutes, was still not interested in giving a refund. They told us they tried to deliver earlier at this point, we have 2 dogs that bark at any noise outside & I was sat by window all evening, no one came around. When it turned up the address on the receipt was unreadable, wraps were pitta bread & all food cold. You have lost our custom.

Don’t normally have a problem but today food was cold , salad I requested was onion ! 5 bits of chicken half an onion and a burnt pita bread was really not acceptable

If you're looking for a proper cafe style fry up then this is your place - you get what you pay for - ignore the bad reviews - the food is good, coffee great and the service friendly!

Food was 55 mins late when phoning the restaurant the man was very rude and unhelpful! When they finally delivered the food (cold) it was delivered by a taxi driver while I was on the phone complaining to just eat to be told by them to complain to the driver... absolute joke never using them again!!!

supplied wrong drink, ordered two identical orders yet one was half the size. when contacting just eat a delivery man was sent to our door shouting and yelling no discount no refund yet none was asked for. poor customer service would not recommend.

Usually really good, tonight though it’s was delivered late, it was cold and our chips were soggy.

Gave them another go after being over an hours late back in Nov 17...reordered today and again over an hour late,phoned restaurant said it was on its way,after 45 mins had to phone just eat to cancel the order after numerous attempts to restaurant with no answer!never again

vegetarian kebab was absolutely vile, the sloppiest thing I have ever eaten! After I had eaten some there was a huge puddle on my plate and all the vegetables were soggy! my partner ordered scampi and chips and onion rings. The scampi was the texture of a used car tire... Tough, rubbery and tasteless. absolute waste of money, the onion rings were average at best... and will never order from here again: would instead recommend a trip to Iceland instead.... forget this lousy takeaway! (postponed the delivery time also even though we are just around the corner)

Was communicated with through a series of grunts by a half asleep man. The brown sauce was gone off, they got the order wrong and the it was just generally a low standard of food

love burgys burgers, best around, salad was lovely and crisp. Definitely recommend burgys. I have had their pizza in the past and kebabs and they are all great too.

Food took hour and fifthteen to arrive, food was cold, orders over £25 receive free drink yet this wasn't given to me. Lucky I'm not contacting for refund

I ordered Lamb Shish at the meat was really fatty to the point that I could hardly cut it so had to throw it away. Normally food is excellent quality so I was really disappointed.

Requested no cheese on the burger. The note was ignored. The kofte crumbled apart and the inside was undercooked. Such a shame as have always enjoyed their food and service.

Restaurant changed delivery time by 25 mins and then it was still 10 mins later than that. Food arrived at 6:40 that was a very long time from order time

Food delivered faster than anticipated and piping hot. Tasty scampi and kebabs, bit stingey with the chips so probably worth ordering an extra portion!

Unfortunately the Cheese and Bacon Burger that was order had very little Cheese and Bacon and loads of Mayonnaise! The Chicken Nugger kids meal wasnt very appetizing either, the nuggets tasted like they had been frozen then reheated in a microwave. Disappointed!

We placed order before Restaurant was open and requested a 7:30 delivery. The restaurant put the delivery back to 7:55 and here we are at 8:30 still waiting!

This has got to be the worst food and service I have ever had. Pita was all soggy. Meat was burned. No salad in the kebab. I specifically asked for food to be hot because last time was cold and it was still cold. Staff are very rude and can't even speak English properly. Ali the manager especially is so rude. BEWARE OF THESE TERRIBLE PEOPLE! AVOID AT ALL COST!!

Ordered delivery on a Monday at 5.30pm called them at 6.45pm as still not arrived they said food was on its way, still nothing by 7pm! they're only 5 mins from us, so called and cancelled via just eat...got a call at 7.30pm asking for directions! First and last time...ridiculous!!

The kebabs are usually nice from here however I don't think they work well with just eat. The food was warm but not hot... all around pretty disappointed and still hungry.

The delivery person was lost - the college is huge but they were about an hour late anyway.

The food is good but to wait two hours for delivery of something that takes 15 mins to cook is ridiculous. A one off would be forgivable but this s the second time this has happened. No offer of an apology or refund - not good.

Even though I have photo of food, record of calls and the order confirmation. Was a good customer but will never spend my money with these rude people again. They don't deserve your custom.

Just got a Donna, chips and some sauce how much £12.50. Managers seems to want to charge an arm and a leg for separate sauce. Chips over cooked and donna was not great. Appears anything to top up the price if the owners servicing. Other members of staff appear to realise that's not how to keep customers. I'm a customer lost, my advise to others is don't give it even a chance. Go around the corner, 2 minutes walk.

Have had the Various Breakfast here. All nice for the price. There happy to make changes if you ask for them. Coffee (Latte) is a little bitter, but is a nice slow drinker. Usually plenty of on street parking ( limited to 2 hrs ) if your luck you can park out side the cafe. NOTE.. no cafe food seems to be served after 6pm now. Just Burgers and Kebabs

The food from here, especially the chicken kebab, is really tasty. They have a few issues with delivery timing (we've received a couple of late orders in the list few months) occasionally but seem to be getting on top of it.
