Absolutely fantastic fish & chips! The portion size is generous, easily enough to satisfy two people. The fish is coated in the perfect batter – not too thick, not too thin, just right to give that ideal crispy texture. And the chips? Proper, traditional chips that you'd expect from a top-notch fish & chip shop. Eating it straight out of the paper somehow makes it taste even better. Highly recommend for a classic, delicious meal!

Absolutely superb fish and chips, first time we have visited and it definitely won't be the last.

Had a takeaway tonight and everything was nice. Except the chicken curry, it was full of onion and I was lucky to get 4pieces of chicken. The bits I did get looked so grey and unappertising. I actually couldn’t bring myself to eat it.

Great food and friendly service, I had the House Special Curry which is my favourite. Plenty of meat and prawns in it and a great chinese curry sauce. My wife had King Prawn in Tomato with loads of prawns in it. We also love the chips from here, best in the area. Been coming for years and no intention of stopping!

Good range of food and reasonable prices....but they should join the 21st century and accept card payments, no ifs no buts !!

Really lovely food, I’m vegetarian but my family like the meat dishes. Portion sizes are really good too, and the chips in my opinion are the best around, and again really generous portion sizes. It’s our go to takeaway place.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! The food was over-priced, tiny in portion size and bland. No flavour at all. You get more veg than you do any meat contents. Spending over £30 I expected a lot better than what my 9 year old could have cooked and what she would have made would have had more taste.

Absolutely horrible experience! I had a portion of salt and pepper chips abs curry sauce, that’s it. I thought the price was reaching at £5.20 but fine. I ate it and within 4 hours I’m on the toilet! This morning all morning the same with burning down there! Never have I experienced anything like this they talk in there language so you don’t know what the hells going on! Or what Concoctions is going on! Fuming

Chicken curry absolutely terrible . no breast at all just grey meat . Have boycotted totally now Loon tin so much better When the poor reviews outweigh the food so heavily I would highly suggest avoiding to avoid disappointment / food poisoning

Finally a local chip shop that still sells anything battered!!?? Part of a dying breed around here, chip shops like this.

Fantastic food & very friendly staff

Great experience, would eat there again, had the fish and chips, the chips were bussin, and were crispy on the outside and nice and fluffy in the inside, were well seasoned and covered in vinegar, the fish was crispy but tender and flavourful and tasted like it was fresh like it was just caught fresh, would buy again 10/10

Chicken was tougher than an old boot, chips tasted chemically and my fish was 85% batter. Couldn’t eat any of it

Boiled rice and egg fried rice were nice, crispy shredded beef had no flavour, the chicken satay main was fine but didn't quite taste like usual satay.

It was cooked fresh while I waited and it was fantastic fish.

Veg wasn't cooked and rice was stodgy. I was also overcharged, I only realised when looking through the menu on the counter in store.

Brilliant for pizza. Always get good customer service. Just wished I could pay by card in here.

Good local chippy. Great sized portions of chips and the fish can vary from good to superb. Nice and friendly. Recommended

Had fish & chips, wife had chicken & chips. The Chicken had been deep fried beyond an inch of its life, it couldn’t have been dryer if it had been cooked on the sun. Not tried the Chinese menu but will not buy fish & chips from there again.

Very friendly and they are safely following all the covid regulations.

Local, reasonably priced. Can phone in and place an order to be ready for when you get there. Cash only but cash machine is just a few shops up. Recommend the cheeseburgers.

Totally vile wouldn't feed the food to my dog no flavour smelt horrible look horrible tasted horrible couldn't eat it its not cook fresh could tell it had heated up meny of times

I had a menu for one person. It was the most horrible meal ever. They packed everything as if it was a lunch box. The sweet and sour pork was hard, chewy and very strong taste. The s&s sauce was just a tiny bit on top, ridiculous (seriously). I was very disappointed. Then the chiken was white-ish and slimy. I only ate the rice. I'm never ever coming back there.

Nice place for a fish and chips; tasty and hearty portions with decent curry sauce. The area has plenty of free parking and the staff are friendly. The full 5 stars food rating is also a good sign by FSA.
