Burger King - Chatham Dockside in Medway

The worst kfc ever and from anywhere in the country ....just like eating crispy chicken ....no flavour whatsoever ever....you really can't call this Kfc .

We had a lunch in KFC Chatham with my friends, and we’re really satisfied in our food which hot and fresh and the service quite slow but staff are friendly. Definitely suggest this KFC to my other friends.

There are 18 tables and people are in and out and the toilets have been locked for months. When I ask for the toilet they ignored me few times then they said to not open it. I asked for me and my child to wash our hands before eating they said to go in restorant the next door to use toilet. The hygiene is horrible and rubbish is everywhere. I have been there about 30 min and have not seen anyone from the staff cleaning the tables.

Tables greasy food took over 20 min for 2 adults and child without a care in the world not normally doing reviews but people need the headsup Awful

Worst kfc in Kent. Tables not cleaned, chicken was a rip off! Very tiny chicken wings as if it was not paid for. Fries mixture of crispy and soggy, rude staff, don’t know the essence of customer service. Never go back there. £60 wasted!

Customer service not existing. I waited 10 min to be served, no one even recognised that I am waiting, when asked " someone is serving here"? some guy replied " cash only, if you don't have a cash self service only" I haven't had cash on me and I really didn't want to order from the machine so I left. Pretty shocking, no hello, no can I help you, you feel very unwelcome, like you disturbing them. I think note on the door "cash only or self-service" would help.

The place is always a mess , no counters so cant get delivered to table like the self serve asks , tills are often unmanned so you wait for ages , food always takes ages to arrive cause of the slow staff

1st and last time at this KFC. chicken was so dry and tough i couldn't finish it because it was painful to eat and tasted nothing like kentucky fried chicken.

Worse kfc store looked dirty when i did the order on app our order didnt show on tv screen gave it 5 mins then had to tell them then waited another few mins ger our meal. Food mmm wasnt piping hot . As was on our wrk lunch break didnt wana wait.

First visit was very impressed. Service was great and friendly staff. Prices have increased since I last had a KFC but I enjoyed it.

We didn't get given a receipt from the machine. The tables were dirty. We had to clean the table ourselves.

Efficient and quick service with less than 5 mins of wait time. Nice seating and location.

Clean and tidy KFC can get busy and staff seem a little slow to deal. Sadly people leaving their rubbish around is a problem probably due to the lack of staff to clean up and serve. No free parking for dockside which can reduce business and may make the KFC a better faster serving franchise. Larger orders can cause issues with items being missed.

As KFCs go, it's as good as they get. Chicken was hot, fries crispy, corn juicy and Pepsi was cold. Only downside was it only has one toilet. On the plus side, we saw a bloke there who was the spitting image of Catweazle. If you're too young to remember the TV show Google it.

I loved my wrap and husband was happy with his zinger burger. Service a little slow but they were quite busy.

I had a great dining experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious and tasted incredibly fresh. The service was prompt and pleasant, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. The only drawbacks were that the disabled button for the door was broken, causing inconvenience for my partner, and the outside waste bins were overflowing. If these issues are addressed, I would easily rate this restaurant 5 stars.

i had a wonderful meal, with good service and friendly staff, The Dining area was not full but was clean and well maintained.

Ordered a delivery and it came without the chips!! Tried to call numerous times and no answer or it went dead…. Can’t complain because apparently you have to complain to delivery company who the complaint is not with! Kfc Chatham dockside thumbs down….surely it’s a simple thing to do!

I recently visited KFC at Maritime Way and was really impressed with my experience. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, with a friendly and efficient staff. This was a great little place we found whilst on our travels out to medway and a welcome pit stop. Friendly staff ample parking and a quick service. They accept both cash and card payments. And have inside and outside tables. The food was presented quickly and was nice and warm. I Would use again

First time we've eaten here and it was lovely there was seating available outside , staff were relatively quick at clearing up outside , though I would recommend more then one bin is needed as this filled up very quickly . Food was served quickly and tasted lovely . Thank you

Chicken was very greasy, slimy and salty(but not unusual for KFC). Rancid taste and smell.upset my stomach

Quick service and helpful staff. Not always the most cheerful but they always seem understaffed! No space to sit however and most of the space is taken up with people waiting for a seat. Plenty of seats outside but it's the UK so the weather is always rubbish!

Organised chaos. No one seemed to know what they were doing. Major hold up due to a voucher, that even the manager didnt know how to action! Loud music in small venues do not create atmosphere. Seating was weird! Wont use again!

This KFC will not give you the food you payed for. And refuse to give receipts for proof of payment

The place is clean and they have self service screens. Food is thrown together a bit but the staff are paid minimum wage so I'd probably do the same. It's a KFC at the end of the day

If i could give no stars i would. £17.99 for a 6pc bucket and received 4 legs. Called to complain and got an attitude, and was told that was the only chicken they had at the time of the order. So i assume they don’t make food to order. Bad attitude and not worth the exorbitant price.

Fresh tasty food! Manager is a bit rude and not very helpful. Could tell he was making his employes feel depressed. But the food was good!

First time visit today ( 28/2/23 ) and my daughter and I had a good time. They even did us on " create your own waffle " half and half like a pizza. 😊

Music was a little loud for quiet conversation, but overall, the food was good and the staff were pleasant.

Floor needed sweeping ,tables needed a good wipe .If I had noticed as I went in I more then likely would have given it a miss .. At least the Chicken was well cooked .They do Not serve Hot Drinks ! Maybe just lack of staff the day I went in .But sadly I will not be returning.

Awful service. Placed an order for just eat. Had the order accepted and waited an entire hour and half before they cancelled the order on me. Had to go hungry at work! If you can't handle the order don't accept it.

The staff are helpful, the food is good and unlike a few of the internal stores they don't hike up their prices to that, that only rich people won't scoff at simply because of where it is, (yes I'm referring to the greasy spoon in the center that will charge you £10 for a small fry up that comes no where close to being worh it like in the wimpy in chatham town) the kentucky has nice food and decent facilities even though its very small in comparison to others 👍

Ordered through "Just Eat", arrived quickly but order was completely wrong. Receipt shows what was ordered, how hard is it to follow?

1st and last time I'll put my foot on this place. It's supposed to be Xmas the atmosphere was really dull. The floor is extremely slippery, tables dirty, staff useless. Food was poor, chicken looked uncooked and watery inside. Gravy was like apple juice,. I don't know what has happened to this place,, but it is very poor. This is not the KFC, it is more like the Local chicken shop with the added expense..

This has to be the best kfc in this area in my opinion 👍🏼

Always dirty and no professional staff, The shift manager very unprofessional and doesn't know how to speak with customers, and this is my experience on Saturday afternoon with seemed there was a shortages of staff, and the manger couldn't help the customer and only one staff was serving customers. When i have asked the reason the shift manager with a bad attitude avoided to help us, and we have already waited there for 20 minutes and then we had to leave without buying anything from there. Not sure how he got the job as a shift manger or supervisor?? And why this place is always dirty include staff uniform? which put you off buying from there.

Ordered through just eat and missed off a bargain bucket with our delivery. How can they miss this off. Tried calling them but not answer. Terrible service. Had to go and buy some more food as our family didn’t have anything to eat. Thanks for ruining our Sunday meal. Useless is too good a word for your service

Our order took 14 minutes to prep because most of the staff was smoking outside while one person behind the counter was trying to deal with the queue. He looked really stressed and tossing the food did not help either to ease his anger off. Our food was missing bits and the bean was only luke warm... Sad thing is that 20 minutes later most of the staff was outside smoking again. Where is the management or the owners???

If there's a KFC in Medway which has staff that will spit on your food. It's this one. Avoid it. It's rancid in there.

Shocking service, 4 orders ahead of mine and had to wait over 30 min to be served. Then my order was completely wrong. Worst KFC I visited in years. Something needs to be done here.

2nd time coming here for my half hour lunch break and 2nd time I've got up from my table to collect my food and someone has taken my table 🤬 there are only a handful of tables so why not do table service?? Also staff talking behind counter after calling me up for my food so had to get his attention to give me my food

We visited after promising the small people that we would go to a KFC, this was the closest to where we was at the time... when we got there, some people were sitting ON the tables outside - gave them benfit of doubt that you can't always control all the customers... until realised these were actually staff! No issues ordering and the food wasn't quick, but not ages either to be fair. We had chosen to sit in and eat (rather than trying to eat in car!) Tables were not as clean or cleared as they said have been. Food itself was OK, so that was a bit of a relief! As we left it looks like the tidying / cleaning is a bit of an issue as the waste bin was overflowing... If given the choice I would use a different KFC next time...!!

I was very disappointed with this branch It had only one person serving so was very very slow It has out side tables and it's a hot day so out side would be a nice place to sit to eat But all the tables were dirty and most of the seats didn't look much better Tables inside were not very clean The unisex toilet was disgusting, how can people leave toilets like this I just don't understand. Sorry but this is how I and the wife found things this time.

I have to say how very disappointed I am with this kfc. I had high expectations as its fairly new to the Dockside. I can not comment on the food as I never ate here. The reason I did not eat here was due to how filthy and messy it was not only outside which was full of kfc litter on the floor and tables needing a really good clean, but also inside was dirty , with litter on the floor , empty kfc wrappers , used napkins , straws etc. There were practically no customers sitting eating at the tables inside, yet they were still dirty, unwipped with leftover food on them. I decided that if you can't keep the customer area clean then what are the chances of a clean hygienic kitchen! I'm not entirely sure what has gone wrong here but I doubt they will be in business long if they don't sort things out. Certainly gives kfc a bad name. 👎

Cold chips but they sorted it out really quickly with apologies. Once rectified, food was deelish. Watch out if you choose to eat outside as the seagulls are thieves!!

The food was delicious and the lady serving me was friendly but the tables inside and on the outside are filthy. Oily seats with food bits allover. The tables outside had rubbish on them and the bins overflowing.

If you’re thinking of going,think again, I have just been and never going again, the food had clearly been sitting there a long time, it looked burnt and was so dry, you couldn’t bite into it, it was totally inedible. Seriously it’s not worth it which is a shame as it’s close, but I wished I went to strood.

Staff are rude, slow and you wait forever, for what is a slopped together mess of burger and 12 chips... Feet stuck to floor around the only semi cleaned table in the place. Don't ever order deliveroo from there, the driver collecting two meals waited 20 minutes from the first to the second meal.... Dismal interior. Clearly, this is where Mac donnalds sacked staff get employed. Avoid, avoid, avoid!!!

This place has to be the worst fast food establishment everrrrrrrr. McDonald’s Chatham has better customer service than this place. The staff are rude and when I asked for a slice of cheese in my burger they scoffed. When I got my burger it was cold and practically inedible (a major health hazard, I’m lucky I didn’t get food poisoning). All the tables were dirty and covered in either crumbs, sauce, or spilled drink. I don’t get how the place has a 5 star for being clean when they don’t know how to wipe down a table. The outside was littered with wrappers and chicken bones. At another time of ordering I ordered beans because I was feeling just beans. After getting home and looking at the packaging I saw that it has been made 4 hours ago. So they had it sitting in that heater for 4 hours. Over all the staff are terrible, rude and don’t know how to actually do their job and then they get asked to they have a mood. The food is a health hazard, and the place is a mess. The worst KFC I’ve ever seen. Please just avoid. Needs to be shut down or re-staffed!

Time of my visit: Saturday, 13.00, only 2 small tables taken inside. Place was untidy. Messy. Food on the floor. Tables- smeared, sticky, off putting. Staff standing behind counter, chatting between themselves, totally oblivious and uninterested in very untidy front of the house. General impression- dirty. I will not eat in there again.

Worst KFC I've ever been to. The self service order machines had no paper for the receipts. The girl seemed completely uninterested when I told her. Another customer also told her about the other machine - again no interest. While eating my meal I witnessed two male members of staff outside having a fag (no problem with that). On return one them picked his nose and went out the back. I hope to god he washed his hands. Bog standard food but my Zinger Burger looked like it had shrunk :(

My wife and I tried this outlet WHEN it had only just opened, and have to say it was absolutely fabulous. But like most new establishments it takes time to get it right. we have today 05/06/22. And found the staff especially Tony to be polite and accommodating. The food qaulity compared with other KFC's across London and the south east to be of a very good standard, it appears that other reviewers should take another look as I believe that this restaurant has the potential to be amongst the best.
