The staff were very unhelpfull when i asked for help when ordering on the machine. Burger was dry and tastless staff looked dirty and miserable

Car park is dark, dank and pot holed. Broken light fittings, one covered in a Tesco shopping bag. What should be an osasis of light and hope is more like a decaying glow worm in a garden of doom. The service and the burgers were actually quite good as was the the excellent tea. The gents' toilet was like a crime scene, the toilet blocked with goodness knows what.

Cold, burnt, dry burger, so bad I couldn't eat it. Really grubby, greasy finger marks everywhere. So I sat outside in scruffy seating area and spotted 3 rats running about! Horrible and unhygienic.

The staff are lovely, the service is fast, the food is great and the only thing missing is a drive through.

Went in at lunchtime on a Saturday, was relatively busy already before our group of friends came in. Food came out piping hot and tasted amazing, one of the ginger lads behind the till had really good customer service and spoke to us regarding our food.

We've been to this BK on the way back from Wales a few times. The BK itself is I guess just about acceptable but the whole area around is so bad. The car park you enter is terrible - at the entrance to the car park is a smashed up sign (i think it might be an old Little Chef sign from when it used to be LC). The car park itself is full of potholes, there is an abandoned Tourist Info Centre with the BK behind it. Half the lights no longer work on the car park so you might want to make sure you've got a torch if visiting at night to find your car again. Exiting the car park is a maze too - badly signed exiting and one way arrows that are not illuminated properly can easily lead to you accidentally driving down the entrance instead of the exit (surprised no one has had an accident - safest way to try to escapeis to drive through thr petrol station on the other side rather than try and guess where the actual exit road should be). The whole place is an absolute mess and there is also a Premier Inn there although I dread to think who would want to stay in that Premier Inn with the abandoned wasteland of a car park outside (think of the video game fallout and that's pretty much the car park!) Also when parking your car there are kind of bay markings which in some places are just about visible but it seems no one bothers with them because most of them aren't visible and have faded into potholes. The car park really could do with tidying up and cleaning up - I like BK but come on BK the abandoned wasteland outside the door is so bad it makes that restaurant look bad too.

4 of us popped into BK following a 3 peaks challenge on the way home from Snowdon to MK. Ignoring the very old and dingy setting of the venue tucked away as part of the Travel Lodge which really does need a serious make-over...(and the £2 per litre diesel when everywhere else is £1.80 ish... grrrr.) The place was full (families and singles) and clean. The staff were fast and efficient and the food was surprisingly good and fresh. Definitely not a regular fast-food eater so expectation was low but this was really very good. Lots better than my last McDonalds experience which was dire. Also a nice notice about general use of their loos. Well done.

Moody manager didn’t apologise for the wait, didn’t welcome us and just rudely cut in saying she couldn’t hear me. When I said I didn’t like the reception and walked off, she embarrassed herself screaming “youuuu what??” Mmmm classy. Burger King? More like burger off.

Stopped at this Burger King for a quick snack on our way home. First of all, the immediate environment is grim to say the least. I’m not sure what occupants of the adjoining Travelodge make of the dark & gloomy place, but the car park, the approach and the exit are all in need of serious maintenance. The Burger King itself, once inside, is passable. The food is ‘ok’, ie as good as can be expected at a Burger King, and staff were helpful. But the toilets…. Well, both ladies’ and gents’ were closed “for refresh”, so only the disabled loo was available for everyone to use. Given the usual jokes about leaving a toilet seat up/down etc, it can easily be imagined what state it had become. But, oh my goodness, if anyone should visit this particular loo, feast your eyes on the electric radiator near the hand wash basin. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything as dirty in any convenience I’ve ever visited! There were enough staff present to keep on top of cleanliness, so there could be no excuse. There is absolutely nothing in this establishment to make you think of calling in again (we often pass the area) and to make matters worse, as we drove out on the gravelly bumpy road, there appeared, in front of us, a gleaming new looking Greggs and other outlets at the attached petrol station - we were kicking ourselves, to say the least.

Rude staff and huffed when I presented my blue light card as she had already pressed card payment. Supposed to be an assistant manager?! Ha! Rest of the staff were okay, just her… food was good

Took a bite of my chili cheese bites as I am a vegetarian and have never tried meat before and it was a chicken nugget! I am absolutely horrified as I've never eaten meat before and never intended to Luckily, I wasn't someone who couldn't have protein as this would have caused a terrible allergic reaction! awful.

Firstly the car park and roads are in urgent need of repair. Some work going on to better them but not much!! Burger King completely empty (seemed to be the only place open). Staff sullen. Toilets reasonably clean and hand sanitiser to use. Donations wanted for charity if you need to use the toilets but not the restaurant.

Nice food and fast service but the road is the worst road I have ever seen in my life, half of the car park I’d closed off because there is a massive hole that fills up full of water.

Staying next door at the Travelodge in bad weather i took the easy option and thought i'd give the Burger King in Oswestry Services a go. Sadly, no gluten free options, so ended up with a bag of fries and was charged an extra 10p for BBQ sauce - wheras the ketchup is free - not good. Service was OK, but staff were more interested in chatting to their friends. Filled a hole, but thats about it!

My advise stay well clear of this place the staff are completely ignorant . They closed and locked the doors on me and my family as we walked up to the door before closing time . Then proceeded to scowl at us through the glass doors . I have had to give a score of 1 but this was only so i could leave a review. The area itself is very grotty with unsavoury characters hanging around in the shadows we felt very unsafe . The fact they then looked us out in that environment didn’t help . The sooner this out of date Biulding and staff are closed down the better . Ps pray for a Mcdonalds in Oswestry please .

I got a take out and when I got home I found the order was wrong - disappointing. Asked for a latte got regular coffee and not all fries cooked through

Slow service due to very few staff. Staff are not very welcoming at all and quite unfriendly. Tables dirty, floor dirty and area outside very dirty and unkempt. Food OK

Excellent food excellent people Some of the reviews are absolutely ridiculous on here the staff are so welcoming, mgrs and staff can not do enough for you.

Women meant to be a manager; never come across a more rude women in all my life. DISGUSTING. Other staff, absolutely lovely just her. She’s made me and my family not want to visit again as she was that rude we don’t wish to be spoken to like that again.

Stopped off for a snack and to stretch my legs during a 5 hour drive heading south. I can honestly say this is the worst service area eatery I have every visited in the UK.The toilets are disgusting, and they ask for a donation for their preferred charity to use them - a worthy cause I’m sure, but someone clean the facilities first for pity sake.The car park has a lot of pot holes, but the exit has massive craters - take care in any car with lowered suspension!

The dirtiest BK I’ve ever seen. I refused to at here after seeing the squalor of the toilets. Things had not been cleaned in a long time. Avoid this place.

Area outside the place is shockingly dirty and unkept and when you get inside things dont change much. Uninterested staff, dirty toilets, food dumped into the bag so the fries are ein the bottom of the bag and burger thrown together.

I'd skip this one. We had one too few fries in our order, which happens. The staff argued, were grumpy, and eventually conceded in the face of irrefutable evidence. They grudgingly gave us a small fries instead of a large one. Didn't need to be so bad!

If I’d gone to the toilets first I’d have walked out they were absolutely disgusting dirty and with a revolting smell . The restaurant was also filthy dread to think what the kitchens were like . Staff miserable food poor . Waste bin overflowing . A most unpleasant experience avoid

Nipped in today for a quick bite after son had been to a birthday party (parents starving), asked where the saver menu was, it doesn't exist anymore because 50p has been dumped into every item, what a rip off, we left and went over to off which was also a let down, (I'm putting a review on there as well), should have gone to local haunt, maccy d's, always clean in there with decent service!

I have been at many burger kings in my life, but this was just vile.

Just left the scruffiest burger king I've ever entered, to be greeted/scowled at, by the unhappiest employee of the month/year. Small middle aged Scottish lady with No manners whatsoever, just aggressive parrot like questions in her miserable tone, coupled with vacant looks. Lid was not put on my drink properly (spilled all over the floor and counter when I tried to pick it up) and my fries were literally thrown in the bag upside down (not one in the actual bag they're supposed to be in), so I enjoyed rounding them all up in the car. Food was just dumped on the counter in front of me without a word!

well located on the A5 nr oswesty , free parking , good food , a bit slow with the service , but staff where nice

Called here today on way back to wrexham from ironworks. The car park was poorly signposted but quite full and the toyrist information was due to open soon. We entered tge burger king restaurant abd alrhoygh it was a lot smaller it was immediately noticeable how much cleaner it was than their larger wrexham restaurant. We were served by at least 4 people who took our order and offered to bring the food over to our table. In wrexham you have to stand and wait. We were even asjed if we wsnted to be served our ice cream after we had finished our meals! You dont get this service in some hotels! When i went to collect our ice cream fron the counter i also ordered another ice cream and was again served by 3 people. They were all fanatastic and very chatty with us and our grandson was made a great fuss of. On leaving all the staff behind the counter said goodbye smiled and waved to our grandson.

Usual burger king just a little more expensive due to it being at mile end services quite small inside but there is seating outside if the weather is ok

call here several times and never have anything to complain about also hot fresh, and always clean and friendly atmosphere

Called in for a burger and a drink nothing to complain about the food but the car park is a disgrace not enough litter bins. there was litter everywhere and half eaten meals just left on the car park which of. course attracts vermin.Whoever is responsible for these services needs to buck their ideas up and perhaps take a trip to the Gloucester services on the M5 to see how to run these places.Will not be calling in again

Visited with a coach party and went in to Burger King after being unable to get food in little chef next door. Staff were friendly and helpful and served us all quite quickly. Toilets were clean. Food was up to usual Burger King standard.

Pequeño restaurante para comer algo rápido.

Me he parado aquí muchas veces en mi viaje, sólo para un bocado rápido para comer. La belleza de este lugar es que la comida es sabrosa, bastante suficiente para mis necesidades y sobre todo como un servicio rápido y luego puedo ser en la carretera de nuevo.

Popped on for a burger well mistake one. Burger arrived and fitted the palm of my hand and the thing was less then 75mm wide (three inches). Yes I carry a tape with my job. Ordered coffee mistake two. This arrived from the kitchen not the machine so was instant coffee and then signs put on NO HOT DRINKS which is NOT uncommon in these so called fast food establishments ( can't bring myself to call it anything else). Staff unhelpful and not surprisingly the place was empty. Little Thief and burger king have both managed to destroy the image of fast food in this country and I for one will NEVER complain about McDonalds again as they are a universe in front of this bunch and it's sad we don't have a no rating as one seems generous.

Good location on our long journey for a stop off for some hearty albeit unhealthy fare. There is always good parking here and the staff are friendly and apologetic if you have to wait.

Was staying at the Travelodge next door and arrived at about 8.30pm.The little Chef next to the Travelodge was closed so was forced to use the Burger King.Never been in one before but,after this experience,will never complain about McDonalds again.Only one person serving so there was quite a wait.....not that it was worth waiting for.The guy behind the counter was rushed off his feet.The contents of the Whopper were the burger,which tasted unpleasantly like wet cardboard,two massive slices of tomato,some limp wet lettuce and,I assume,mayonnaise.The bun was so limp that as I bit into it most of the contents found their way into a combination of my hands,my lap and the floor in,roughly,equal proportions.Not only inedible but uneatable....must be a first!Didn;t think any restaurant could make McDonalds look Cordon Bleu but Burger King have succeeded.....well done!!Avoid.

We were heading home and thought we'd stop off for a meal, agreeing that burger king sounded good. On entering the store we had all decided what we wanted to eat, but on ordering were told that we couldn't get some of our desired meals because the bloody fryer wasn't working!! No signs anywhere to be seen to alert customers of this, so my poor partner didn't get to have his fish sandwich. But we brushed this off. So we waited for our meals and as I went to sip my latte, I was greeted with great horror. As I sipped, not a drop of coffee landed on my tongue. Surprised by this, I removed the lid to reveal the atrocity lurking beneath. The 'frothed' milk you'd expect from a latte was none other than the consistency of curdled milk or a lump of feta cheese. ??????? Also there was nee bog roll in either of the loos so we raided your store cupboard and your radiator is moldy. Sort it out.

A family group of seven decided to take advantage of the Burger King next to the travelodge where we were staying. Big Mistake! Two of us ordered food and paid, but when the next person ordered chicken we were told No Chicken by a sour faced assistant. As the remainder wanted chicken we asked to cancel the first orders and were told No Refunds. As a family what were we supposed to do? Grudgingly the remainder ordered beef burgers. Order came all together thankfully, but what small portions! Seriously Burger King, if you have no chicken whatsoever, put a notice up to warn people, it's not difficult! Won't be visiting again!

We had breakfast as we where passing through the area found the staff very friendly couldn't do enough for us food was very good just what we needed after traveling for hours I would recommend burger king Oswestry in fact we had lunch there on our way home and found the staff were very friendly and polite and the children felt very welcome we will call back in next time we are passing through.

Good place to stop on a long journey - just of the main road so very convenient and service is fast.

Please try to avoid this place.. we had the pleasure of working in the area over the last few weeks and had the displeasure of eating here as we were staying at a local hotel.. the manager is not very helpful and tells lies.. we ordered food and then one said i wanted to changed his mind.. we were told this can not happen and we will not give a refund... as its against burger king rules.. we found out later this is not correct.. on our next visit our food was rewarmed up in a microwave. the lettuce was so hot nearly scolded my tongue. and on our last visit, i watched the staff more closely so i dont receive another microwaved burger. to find the people who put the burgers together with no gloves on using the bin with his hand.. pointed this out to the manager. and said he one of our best workers.. i wear glasses but i see very clearly 8ft in front of me.. NOT A FRIENDLY OR HONEST PLACE...

everything about this place is terrible. The staff are inexperienced, we had to wait 20 mins for two chicken strip meals??! And then 24 hours later me and my wife had diarrhoea and stomach cramps, so if I were you and valued your health I would avoid!!!!!

Ordered food and waited for it to be cooked. Chips lovely and hot but burgers lukewarm. I wonder if they are cooked to above 63 degrees centigrade as they just didn't seem to be hot at all. I know the bread is long life but it is not usually as obvious. Go to KFC instead.

Stopped here four times in a fortnight as it was our halfway stop.Thankfully only used the toilets which was only out of desperation.Toilets were blocking up and had a very nasty smell .At first we where going to eat here so glad the queue never seemed to go down and we left.staff couldn't keep up with demanded there were people waiting for burgers at tables.when I informed a member of staff about the toilet her response was I only have one pair of hands love :( The car park area was awful and was blocked halfway with a massive puddle.WON'T BE USING AGAIN UNTIL SOME ONE SORTS OUT THIS SERVICE AREAOthers business on mile end service site seemed to be suffering in the dilapidated surroundings.such a shame always used this service station on the way to Wales as it was always so well kept but not anymore :(

A total disaster of a meai, the member of staff struggled to get our order right,then could not get the till to work correctly,eventually we were served with our 'meal' ,which contained a lukewarm burger, two hours later we were both suffering with stomach problems.A definite no go in future

This place has great staff, great coffee and great burgers, the fries arent bad either! I travel to South Wales regularly and by far this is the best stopping off point for a break I have found on the route. The coffee is about a third of the price of other similar places so its got to be worth a try.

Small and poky restaurant. Poorly lit and terrible road surface driving into the car park, enormous pot holes. Staff were ok, not terribly friendly. Seemed like it was a bother to have to serve you. Food was ok nothing great.

After a not very good experience here back in June we thought we would give it another chance.Upon opening the door we noticed there was no one behind the counter - there was a lady in uniform sat at tables with a lady in white shirt and name badge and a couple of lads in jeans and tshirts.They all looked at us like we had just spoilt the party when we came in. Whilst looking at the menu the lady in uniform came over and greeted us and took out order. Once we had ordered the lady wearing the white shirt and name badge came over and said "what do i have to cook then" loud enough for us to hear, and when the order was read to her she did a sort of groaning "gggggrrrrrrrr" noise - as if totally annoyed at having to throw a burger on for us.We were made to feel like a complete inconvienience.

A quick dinner with my lad after swimming lessons. There was a steady stream of customers, but certainly not busy. The lady on the front was most friendly and welcoming. The lad preparing food was utterly hopeless. He had to keep asking the same questions to the lady at the front regarding quantities of food items. Despite this, our order was still incorrect! This Burger King is quite tucked away, and doesn't stay open 24 hours like the McDonalds just up the road, so doesn't get as busy. If you're not in a rush, then it's fine. If you're in a rush, it can get frustrating!

Did not stop to eat here and I am glad we didn't. Teenagers/students were 'working' there instead of an adult. They were too busy having a laugh and one boy was wearing his hairnet over his face being stupid and the other girl was too busy giggling at him.

normally love burger king burgers - as we were travelling back from the father in laws we spotted this litte hideaway and decided we'd stop for tea before completeing our journey home. The staff on the till were more interested in having their own little convo rather than serving the customers.The burgers we ordered we were told we couldnt have because they had run out of onion rings. The drinks tasted flat - but that might have been due to the large amount of ice piled into them!Hope for better next time

I love burgers but my husband is not so keen so when we visit Oswestry i take advantage of this outlet just a few seconds walk from the main travelodge door. What can I say, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal deal. The husband ( surprisingly) also had a meal deal and was very happy with it - 'far better than McDonalds.' he was heard to say
