Burger King in Winchester

The food was cold by the time it arrived. Drivers should not be allowed to make so many deliveries on a run, if it means the food arrives cold.

This is my favourite Burger King. I would love to have given a 5 star review, however there is something that lets it down lately. The interior temperature of the restaurant. I have noticed that there is a particular member of staff, whenever they are working, the doors to the restaurant are kept open. On a cold day, I like to get inside and have a warm meal. However, my usual lunchtime haven is now more like the inside of an igloo. As I type this review from inside the restaurant, there is a woman, literally shivering, while she’s waiting for her partner to finish his food. On another recent visit, I came in for lunch with a colleague and we closed the doors as we entered. By the time we had ordered our food and sat down, one of the restaurant staff had come out of the kitchen and proceeded to open the doors again. We were the only customers at the time and I spoke to the staff member and explained that the restaurant was very cold with the doors open, to which he replied, “well we’re roasting back there” and then he walked back to the kitchen. So much for customer satisfaction. I have decided after my experience today, not to return to this restaurant again until the weather improves. There are other fast food restaurants nearby that will have my custom until then.

The problem I have with this branch is that if I visit with a vegetarian, they prepare my food first and then it sits there getting cold whilst the veggie option is cooking. I have NEVER had a hot burger from them! I’m gonna give up! Yesterday they left out whole order wheat the staff dealt with a just eat delivery guy so even the vegetarian had a cold burger! Common sense people - prepare the food so that it’s ready together and get it to your customer straight away ! Also it was filthy the tables all had spill marks on and there were crumbs everywhere - we ate in the car in the end Probably not going to use again as this isn’t a one off

First time here easy to order food and got table service went early so could eat in peace and quite. Then got busy lucky we finished food left quick noisy kids. Food was lovely and good prices clean tables and excellent person who delivered our food to table.

I just spent £27 on two whopper meals. It took an hour to arrive. The courier took 20 mins to do a 5 minute journey because they dropped everyone else's food off before ours. Burgers and fries are STONE COLD and the drinks are warm!? Now like eating cardboard out of the microwave. Terrible experience and terrible service. Never ordering anything from BK Whiteley again. If I could give zero Star I would.

The food was stone cold, the only item half edible was the burger, which was tepid. The delivery driver was stood at the door with my paper bag out of the insulated bag. I paid £20.84 for food i could not eat. Will I get a refunded- doubtful.

Having food delivered means it won’t be hot, I can cope with that. But half-filled fries… when you’re paying nearly £30 for 2 meals? I can’t order delivery again. It’s not just BK, MD Fareham is the same with the fries.

Ordered a large chips received basically half of a small portion

ordered at 6.16pm told would be here at 7.10pm but food didn't get here until 7.55pm! The app kept changing the times as driver was delayed and the food was stone cold when arrived and the chicken side looked like it's been smashed in the floor no coating at all! not worth the money . awful

I never got the food I didn’t order today I order yesterday at 22:30 then got called at 00:40 the next day after being told my food wasn’t coming so I went to sleep and was woken up by calls about m food turning up over an hour late

The driver went in the opposite direction to drop 2 other people’s orders off before us and appeared to stay there for several minutes. By the time we got our food it was cold. I paid nearly £40 for a cold meal! Why am I paying full delivery price when he is dropping off multiple orders? Very bad service from just eat

I am not a fan of mcdonnalds at all and always assumed burger king was the same. But after trying this burger king i think my opinion on fast food has changed. Quick, good service and actually delicious. The chips are always perfectly crispy and the burgers are not slapped together like the awful mcdonnalds ones. A very happy suprise

I placed an order with a preferred delivery time of 19:30. At 21:09, the status suddenly changed to Delivered with a delivery time of 22:05 (an hour in the future). Suffice to say, my delivery had not arrived. Unacceptable service

Food is not served as quickly as expected but food is always great. Not always too busy, lines move quickly. Lots of seats to sit and eat

As somebody who appreciates the value of excellent service and a good time eating out, BK Whiteley is the place for me! The excellent staff made the fantastic food even better.

With 5 guys next door and McD's now in town, there's a lot of competition, but this place knocks them out the park. Fantastic meals with a real attention to detail. Everything looks like the pictures. The right amount of sauces and well balanced meals. These are the best in Whitely.

Utterly filthy, tables filthy with other lazy peoples used food wrappers and trays all the while, the pompous manager stands at the serving counter overlooking the state of his restaurant. We had to ask for a table to be cleared and cleaned, whereupon a female came out with an attitude, who clearly thought she was above cleaning tables, threw the rubbish in the bin then wiped the table with a filthy cloth which was stored alongside the bins. Again I asked the manager for a clean table, was replied to with, " she's done it." To the managers of BK....you run a filthy ship. No wonder McDonald's are always buy and you.......85% empty.....id rather go to 5guys, get free mayo and sauce, have free peanuts, get a HOT meal with clean tables.

Order was being prepared for an hour after I ordered and only when I clicked to raise a complaint did it suddenly change. The food was cold when it arrived. Won’t being using this app again.

Ordered at 18:49 with an ETA of 19:20 once order was on route. Nothing by 20:00 so called to be told that the driver lost ticket with address so took it back - driver was not sent back out so order still not arrived over 2 hours later. Food has now been marked as delivered but isnt here. When spoken to Burger King was told it wasn't their problem and nothing they could do. No communication until I CALLED to query it. Absolutely appalling service from Burger King and just eat - I need a refund.
