Burger King in Edinburgh, City of

I am genuinely so disgusted, I order a burger and take a bite out of it, I realise it tastes a bit odd I flip it over. there is a circle of mould on the bottom of my burger, I ask for a refund but the workers refuse and tell me to just buy another one, also not to mention I had waited 30 minutes for a damn burger just for it to be mouldy. I would not recommend. Absolutely rank

I entered the mostly empty restaurant at 8.30pm on a Tuesday and was able gnored for 5 minutes despite being looked at by 3 members of staff and I presume a manager shouting at them to serve. When a young man with what I can only describe as a bored attitude came to the counter he ignored me and spoke to a delivery man behind me. Much to the embarrassment of the delivery man. The staff member eventually managed to ask for my order with maximum disinterest and slapped an empty drinks cup on the counter in front of me. A further 5-10 minutes later my order arrived with the send off of “that’s you” as the bag was screwed up and tossed on the counter. Somehow despite me thinking the delay was to cook the order fresh the fries were lukewarm. The worst Burger King I’ve been to and I won’t return to this branch. Appalling.

It has been a while since I’ve had a Burger King and after this visit it’ll be some time before I have another one. The place felt drab, service was drab and the food looked drab.

Fort kinnaird park Edinburgh,took home whopper meal and the whopper was tough and tasted burnt no onion on when I opened it up the roll was burnt black ,don’t know how they can burn it especially when waiting on it for over 10 minutes

This restaurant is clean, staff are always nice and food is good. There’s an outside sitting area. What else do you need? It’s a BK…

Great Customer Services, The good is good for the price. In Nice area I would definitely go back. Maybe sit in the outside sitting area.

1 out of 5! Would have been 0! Management don’t take complaints well, the member of the team shouted at us. After we were given burgers with bacon that was raw! We were given replacement burgers that were too hot to eat, they were too greasy to the point the bun was breaking apart.

Again I ordered Bacon Double Cheeseburger meal and got an inferior small cheeseburger with small fries. This is not the first time this has happened but the third. I complained to customer services and was told it wasn't their fault because it was a franchise. Don't they know they have authority over the way franchises are run but they probably just said this to fob me off. After arguing endlessly with them they said they would send me vouchers in compensation - yes plural "vouchers". What I got was 1 voucher for a small burger meal which is what they gave me in error 3 times and not what I usually order. I'm wondering if this was done deliberately just to annoy me. It worked. I have now switched to Mickey D's and I have to say a much better meal than BK. You've lost yet another customer. Do you not notice that your outlet has no queues and Mickey D's is queued out onto the street. THERE'S A REASON FOR THIS!!!!!!

Seemed very short staffed, however non the less the dude with the short black hair was very pleasant and his customer service was very good! All of this despite the fact he looked like he was trying to do around 50 jobs at once. Whatever he gets paid it's not enough! :-p Food was good too, for BK standards it was very good 👍

Came to this Drive Thru after seeing a report on Facebook about how poor this restaurant was and planning to make some content reviewing it for YouTube. Annoyingly the food, service and presentation was all spot on... I was welcomed professionally, served hot tasty food and all in under a couple of minutes. Despite not being able to make a video on it, I thought it was only right to share my experience. Bloody Burger King 🙄😂

Was there on saturday night .chips freezing cold .burger like shoe leather and chicken royale ..looked more like grass than lettuce ..please avoid

Recover my burger today and the whole outside and inside of the packaging was greasy opened it up and the bun was saturated in grease, no over exaggeration in the slightest. Took it back to the drive through window and the woman told me she could not take it back whicb I understood dieing the carina virus so I sold her I would put it on a bin no one even offered to refund me. Definitely won't be back

2 people in my party had the chicken on menu on 15th nov. 1 a new mother with a 1 week old baby the other other a male both had chicken and both have same symptoms. The other 3 in party had burgers and they are all ok . Wonder how many more people had the chicken and are unwell .

The lady serving my milkshake dropped it in my car window all over my clothes and car clearly an accident.how ever after speaking to Paul who called him self the manager today over the state of the inside of my car.he fobed me off with just email head office they don’t have a phone number.poor customer service badly trained staff and a manger that clearly does not have any customer service skills.

I made a call on the 19 of february to know where is my order as the driver was on his way for over 30 minutes.... i live 5 min away by car... the guy who finally pick up the phone after 16 call told me he cant do nothing for me ... he cant even contact his useless driver?? never ever i will order with them. I payed money and nothing came... during all this waiting time i could had order somewhere else.... how can you employed such of stupid staff? unproffesional and so rude... i end up the call by saying fu.. you... yes i did because of the way the guy behave... check your staff

I ordered a simple large cheeseburger meal and with a 10-15 minute wait to get my order, I received a cold cheese burger? Went to complain and got one roasting hot, which was soggy and clearly microwaved. This place is shocking for service & food.

Absolutely disgusted when we went to sit down , wasn’t busy and every seating position hadn’t been cleaned with rubbish lying under tables !! Onion rings looked like they were cooked in dirtyOil with bits of old food from the oil it was cooked in.Outside at the drive through is always covered in rubbish . MacDonalds along the road is far cleaner and much more organised and always busy !Management need to get a grip or be sacked !!

Almorcé allí ayer. . Las mesas están sucias, los contenedores sobre el flujo, sin condimentos, sin papel higiénico en el inodoro maloliente. Parecía tan desorganizado. No volveré ni lo recomendaré.

Waited over 10 minutes in a parking bay then had to go back thru the drive thru to ask what was happening with my order to be asked what I'd ordered when I pointed out she should know as she took the order I was handed a bag wih my order in it well the burgers looked like someone had sat on them but the order was right once we got home we discovered the whopper had 2 small burgers in it chips were horrible juice doesn't have enough flavouring need I say anymore

A dirty restaurant. Soft drink machine not working, no napkins, tables & floor covered in mess. Food cold. Absolutely shocking

I'm usually a mcdonalds person. I decided to give Burger King a go as their food seemed nice. Maybe a new local fast food chain for me. I went through the drive through, and everything seemed smooth. I got to the window after ordering and upon arriving I was told to park up and wait for my meal. This was at 14:36. There were another 5 cars in front of me, so we were all obstructing the drive through. I watched a young woman came out and ask everyone if this order was theirs. There was no organizational skills as with EVERY order there was a mistake. They brought out food for each order but NOT the drinks, doubling the time of each trip. The car in front of me waited 3 separate trips to finally fix his order. During my wait I was asked on 3 separate occasions what my order actually was.

Fui a tomar un bocado rápido y terminé esperando 10 minutos para ser servido incluso como segundo en la fila. Le pregunté si podía tener lechuga en mi hamburguesa con queso y tocino que el hombre de la caja dijo que estaba bien. Pasaron otros 10 minutos y finalmente recibí mi hamburguesa, solo para descubrir que no tenía tocino. Pedí educadamente otra y le expliqué que era tocino y lechuga. La señora agarró otra hamburguesa detrás de ella, pero para mi decepción, la hamburguesa no tenía lechuga. Muy decepcionado con el servicio.

20min wait at a drive through with only 1 car infront of me, given a small chips instead of large which I ordered, meal was cold and the staff looked like they didn’t have a clue to be honest. All running around. I like BK but this one is just getting worse so I won’t be returning.

Arrived at Drive Thru at 12.25 pm today, 2 cars in front, took another 5 minutes to progress to order point, placed order, and progressed around bend to approach pick up point, 3 cars sitting there, took a further 10 minutes to make way to collection. Food, especially chips, had went cold. Not provided with a receipt, by very young looking girl, who frankly looked as if she would rather be somewhere else, very unhappy looking, not a smile in sight. Customer service at its best, I think not. Totally rubbish experience.

Después de esperar durante más de 25 minutos en el drive thru al llegar a casa descubrí que sólo había hecho 1 porción de patatas fritas para 2 comidas grrrrrrrtt. El servicio no ha mejorado ningún ya que la ultima vez que me visitó. El sistema que tienen no funciona. El personal que trabaja allí. De todos modos la hamburguesa era bueno que hizo la espera.

Pensé que me gustaría una comida superior al habitual McDonald's.

Visitamos para el almuerzo y cuando recibí mi orden de la mesa noté que 2 de los 3 artículos ordenados estaban equivocados. El problema fue rectificado muy rápido y de una manera agradable. La comida era buena, sabrosa hamburguesas a la parrilla de llama!

El servicio es siempre muy lento aquí y esta vez no fue diferente. Por lo tanto me molestó bastante que cuando eventualmente sirvieron, me dijeron que no había helados! No podía que han puesto un alerta?

Llegamos al coche por sólo me dijeron que tres veces por el operador "espere un momento". . . 13 minutos más tarde ella finalmente volvió y dijo "lo que groseramente quieres "ninguna disculpa o explicación de por qué esperamos tanto en un coche. queless En este punto nos dijo que no quería nada y me gustaría hablar con el gerente, él era tan grosero y no tenía por qué esperamos tanto en un coche por que estaba vacío.

Visitamos hoy después de descargar algunos cupones en la aplicación. Aunque la aplicación es inútil para ser sincera y no funcionó, acabé por desinstalarla como una pérdida de espacio.

The staff were so apologetic that this restaurant should not be left on its own. Food good after 45 minute wait. I only felt sorry for the guys and girls working here. Bad show for company. Staff looked pissed off and tired and understaffed.

If it wasn’t cause if the food tasting nice I wouldn’t have visited here again as service extremely slow - recent visit 20 mins for two kids meals and some of order missing then almost rude staff member saying “what u expect me to do” erm give me what I’ve paid for

Waited for ages to be served then could not find a clean table. This was just before midday so no real excuse. Sat in a corner table but we had to swap chairs as one was all sauce. The floor was filthy. Watched someone saunter out, clean one table, miss the one where customers had just left, wander to another, swipe with the same dirty cloth and then saunter back behind the counter to hang about doing nothing. Staff really didn't care. It was not bad enough to stop me going in but definitely bad enough to stop me going back. The food really wasn't up to much either. King fish - three fish fingers in a bun - pretty shabbily put together. I then worried that if the front of house was so dirty what was the food preparation areas like? Plenty other places to eat in the area and if this standard continues I don't think Burger King will be one of them. The manager needs to get a grip. I would avoid this awful dirty place.

Saturday evening at 7p.m. waited 20-25 mins to be served. only 3-4 people in the queue. drive thru seemed to be prioritised.

Waited ages for order when it did come it wasn't what I asked for young girl behind counter had no supervision and seemed out of her depth felt sorry for her so just ate it ! oh and there's no wifi 😞😞

Waited ages to get served . The place was unclean . No loo roll in the toilets . The food was ok apart from the fries which were like baby portions .i definatley will not come back here

Waited 20 mins to be served. Ordered mozerella sticks didnt have any. Juice machine not working and no notice up. Waited another 15 minutes for a luke warm meal. Kids decided they wanted ice cream. Waited a further 15 minutes to be told that the machine wasnt working and hadnt been for a few weeks.Service slow staff looked at order receipt then put it back again. So frustrating.

Fort Kinnaird Friday at about 12.15pm. Cheapest cheese burger should have been straightforward. Ordered and paid through drive thru as I was in a rush. Big mistake. When I pulled over to eat it a few minutes later it was barely warm. The cheese had not even melted or shaped into the burger shape. Triple portions of sauce had been used which oozed our of every part of the almost cold burger and even reached by hands, top, handbag and parcel ledge of my car!Due to lack of time and the fact this apology of a burger was only 99p I did not have the time and it wasn't worth the petrol to go back and complain.Within a very short distance there is a KFC, a MacDonalds plus other very cheap eateries. Don't waste your time or money on what is absolute garbage and really poor quality 'stuff' which I refuse to describe as food.

been 3 times, each in the hope the [previous visit was an exception..obviously not, for a fast food outlet, it is painful, the only benefit is the food is hot, but the long waits are incredible...please guys, hire more staff for the grills and make quicker burgers!!!!

Burger king at the Fort in Edinburgh absolutely shocking service. The idea of a drive through is speedy service. 35 minutes I waited, 10mins to order then 25 waiting on my food. Once you are in the queue there is no where to go you need to sit single file and wait. When we finally got our foot yep it was cold. Couldn't be bothered by this time to complain so left. Shocking service avoid this place at all costs.

With only one car in front of us in the drive through on a Monday at 10:38am we had a 20 min wait on our food. One staff member had to get another to come and make a smoothie as she didn't know how. They then got our order wrong and we had to wait another 10 mins on 3 staff tying to sort it out. While a man standing next to me was also returning his order as they had forgotten to put the egg and cheese on his bacon, egg and cheese butty.The manager was trying to help sort out my order but never once apologised or even acknowledged me, though a member of staff offered me a free waffle. Poor service, poorly trained staff, manager lacking in people skills, we WONT be back!
