Burger King in Newport

It really was awful. Cold food, overcooked. Missing items, dirty restaurant. Never again. Took my grandchildren, had to go back to counter several times for missing items

I was out with my friends, I had a couple of drinks but I wasn’t disruptive in any way, I just wanted to eat some food. We walked in, just seeking a quick meal, and already I received dirty looks from this supposed manager, maybe because I was wearing a short skirt, she seemed judgemental right from the beginning, making me and my friends uncomfortable. I ordered my food and just waited, leaning against a table. In the past I’ve had trouble with this one specific manager, I’m not sure of her name but she is just plain rude to be honest, the kind of person who acts like she is above everyone when let’s be real she is working at Burger King. Anyway, she told me to stop leaning against the table WHICH I DID and said something like “I know you’ve been drinking” but it’s town on a Saturday night, everyone’s been drinking AND IT WAS NOT ANY OF HER BUSINESS. And she had a go at me, when all I was doing was talking to my friends and waiting for my food, some of my friends were louder than me too, but she only shouted at me and gave me dirty looks with her Beady little eyes. I waited some more and had a sip of my drink out my coke bottle, she accused me of drinking alcohol when in my bottle was just COKE. She started shouting at me in front of everyone, embarrassing me, so I was arguing back of course. She encouraged other customers to be rude to me too. She gave me another chance (even tho I did nothing wrong) but still kept accusing me of drinking alcohol a few minutes later when at this point I didn’t even drink anything else from my coke bottle (WHICH WAS NON ALCOHOLIC). And she kicked me out for that, when I literally hadn’t done what she was accusing me of. So i argued against this but of course I still left. Furthermore, she was completely ignoring me whenever I was defending myself, I couldn’t even get my point across because she didn’t give me a chance. Additionally the service here is ATROCIOUS, it takes probably 20 minutes for your meal to come at a FAST FOOD restaurant. Go to maccies instead. To me and my friends, she just seems sad and insecure and wants to take out her frustration of her sad little life with her customers. She seems like the kind of person who spat in my food too, so if I get any diseases, you know who I’m suing.

If there was an award for the most laziest and ignorant staff in Newport, this would win it hands down.

Restaurant was stinking dirty. All free tables were full of rubbish and dirty. The floors were dirty. Staff were pretty miserable, not much go in them at all. Toilets were grubby. Food was cold. Wouldn’t visit again.

We arrived at just gone 9am for a coffee, no one had been in yet, tables, chairs, floors dirty, crumbs everywhere, went to use the toilet, piss in it from assuming yesterday! Toilets had definitely not been cleaned, disgusting!! They really need to up their cleaning routine, really put me off and we won't be going here again 😷

Delivery is terrible and slow I specifically placed my order online and it was the wrong food completely and I can't get a refund I don't recommend this burger king to anyone it was sent to the wrong address too

Ordered on Uber eats. Missing cheese from a chicken royale with cheese meal. Lettuce belongs on the compost pile. Charges u for sauces that they don’t have in stock. Will turn up cold every times as it’s based in town and very hard for drivers to get to. Avoid at all costs Manager said fresh salad daily.

21st August 2021 I ordered a Double Whopper meal, which i believe should have salad items in it....so juicy tomatoes - none, crispy lettuce - none, creamy mayonnaise - none, just a few onions, a few pickles and a thin layer of the tomato sauce. Not a word was said about not being able to fulfil my order properly or an alternative offered, it was just passed to me in the bag, enjoy your meal the guy said who gave it to me. Well just to let you know it went in the bin I'm just sorry that I didn't take a photo. I know there are shortages at the moment but BK should keep their customers informed. Dreadful what a waste of £7.49!

I went to Burger King this morning at approximately 10.30am and whoever was working behind the counter at that time (male name unknown) is a credit to this Restaurant, he was very friendly, and he provided really good customer service. The food came out quickly and was very nice.

I went to Burger King in Spytty for the first time 10 minutes ago in my lunch break. I went around the building and couldn't find where to get served so looked through the window to see 2 staff members pointing to a sign which told me I would have to drive through or use delivery. As I walked back around the building to leave I heard them both loudly saying how stupid us customers are not being able to read a sign. I called them to let them know I heard them and the female just thought it was funny. Both need a long lesson in customer service, they were dreadful and with employees like that I would never recommend Burger King in Spytty

Twice I’ve order home delivery and twice the order had been wrong 1st time all the drinks were wrong and the kids meal came without the burger so my boy only had fries and the wrong drink 2nd time I ordered chicken strips fries and a meal for myself so so hardly a big order to check but there was only one lot of fries instead of two I certainly won’t be using them again for delivery if they can’t even be bothered to check the order before sending it out

The staff were polite and friendly, it was clean and presentable. Everything we asked for was available, food was fresh and tasty. No issues at all.

Wake up owner/management ???? Please train your managers, supervisors and staff??? How to speak to the customers properly??? No one knows how to smile????

The food we received was very tasty but the customer service was HORRIBLE they messed up our order and gave us 1burger they got wrong! They didn’t apologise or give us the correct food I am utterly disappointed I was looking forward to eating here!! 🤬

I don’t usually visit burger kings and this restaurant is why!!! No teabags??? Service was awful and the toilets were filthy. The food tasted awful and I left my chicken burger. I asked the young cashier what was the difference between the two chicken burgers and she shrugged and said I dunno......... Not good at all!!

Well where do I start....all young girls serving who don’t have a clue, no straws for drinks to begin with and forgot a burger from our order. Hygiene looked disgusting. Stick to McDonald’s

Staff were young, the seemed to have customer service skills. I never write reviews but they made me so uncomfortable, making disparaging comments on my order and staring at me confirmationally, I get the jobs boring but i work in retail and would never treat...
