25 minute wait for a meal. 2 members of staff working on last day of school holidays. Absolute disgrace

teenage boy workers moving around at the speed of sloths, a pathetic attempt at a burger king, nearly lost it at vinnie; who was just standing there like a vegetable watching it play out. The manager of the store, comes out every few minutes and makes a worried expression, then goes back into his office. after every worker does a small task, for example gives a customer an order, they take a 30 seconds to breathe as if they have just done some massive task. they are all under trained. unless you want to feel a strong sense of anger and frustration, do not come here!

Super slow, second year running stopping here, both times 20+ minutes Hardly fast food, would be quicker in a restaurant. Disappointed, stalf bimble around i could see 4 all of which appeared to have no sense of urgency about them, retrain or re employ, as there letting down burger king.

Kieran and Natasha made sure my extra pickles request was well catered for, - I asked for as many as they were allowed to put in my burger and they did not disappoint! Legends!

Person who served me got my order wrong twice so paid 3 times and got 1 refund. Quite rude to be honest and being overcharged and told well it’s only £1, terrible. Lucky sorted by duty manager very friendly food was good but just a shame person on the front needs more training and better people skills

Arrived 2.5 minutes before closing time. Adelaide & Henry could have said "No", but instead they cooked fresh hot food. Respect to them for this kindness. Thank you.

Went to go in for a burger for tea at 20:15, the tape was across the door. If you look online it says 22:00 close time and the door says 21:00. Last time I come here 2 months ago it was 20:30 and the friers were turned off so only could have burgers which were fresh tbf.

The coke I ordered was flat, it tasted like water and syrup no fizz, and both burger buns were so stale. This place shouldn’t be open it was beyond disgusting. My burger was covered in this thick white squishy substance which looked nothing like fat I’ve ever seen before. We threw it all away. This place could actually kill someone. Definitely do not recommend

Went in at 20.00 to buy food for them to say they are not serving some of the menu as they have turned off the machine but it said they are open till 22.00 time now 20.30 and they have locked up

12th. October. Double whopper and chicken royal, both virtually cold . Whopper had been prepared long before I got there because the tomato made the bun disintegrate . Without doubt THE worst burger King I've ever experienced AVOID .

A really poor Food outlet. This Burger King has rude employees. Our drink was served in a dirty cup and after we complained they put the dirty cup inside another cup. We then realised the burger was really cold and looked bad, the staff smiled went behind the counter and emerged with the same burger in a new wrapper? We tried to report to the Web link on the receipt which was unsurprisingly nit available. The food went on the bin. Beware of this place. Very dangerous cold burgers and dirty.

Shut it down. The only good thing were the fries, they were hot and actually decent, but the rest, absolutely WAS NOT worth the 30 quid we paid. One burger was STONE COLD, the other 2 were NOT enjoyable, every Burger King is nowhere as good as it used to be. Staff need to wake up and cook the food as if they are going to be eating it, it clearly wouldn't be like this. All the drinks were flat. What a terribly disorganised and poorly stafffed place this is.Waited over 30 minutes for 2 staff to produce my order. Considering this is prime holiday time your staff ratios are shocking and the experience very poor.

Waiting for over an hour for food

This is the worst experience I have ever had in any Burger King establishment before, I was staying at the nearby Days Inn when I decided to go & grab myself something tasty to eat but i really wish that I hadn't of bothered now as with the exception of the drink, it all went into the bin, cold dry & disgusting for almost £12. I arrived to find that I had to order from one of the self serve machines at the entrance, there was only one other person inside waiting for their food which I found strange for what I thought would be a busy Friday summer teatime, the prices looked much more expensive than the standard Burger King's that I have previously visited but I decided to treat myself anyway to a double whopper with cheese, medium fries & a coke zero, I paid then sat & waited patiently for my food to be freshly prepared. I sat there with this same customer that was still waiting for their order for about 10mins when their meal was finally ready, other people had started to appear but I then noticed that the staff were doing absolutely nothing & just seem to be standing there chatting with one & other, after about 15 more minutes my number was displayed so I got up to walk towards the counter, my food bag felt like it was thrown at me as the server just started walking off like he did with the previous customer, I politely asked if there were any mayonnaise & this young man just glared at me, he muttered something under his breath, put 2 sachets on the counter then proceeded to walk off again, I took my food then walked back to my hotel room not realising that I had no salt or napkins in the bag I was given, it's lucky there was a straw sticking out of my drink. Once inside my room I opened the bag ready for a delicious looking hot burger with lots of salad with some hot tasty fries, but how wrong could I be as for a start the fries were a tiny half bag & were very tepid & the burger once I unwrapped it was the biggest disappointment as it felt stone cold in a very dry bun with overcooked dry cold meat, nothing was inside the burger, no lettuce, no tomatoes, no onions, no mayonnaise, no pickles, nothing, I took a bite but it was stone cold along with the fries, I picked up the food all ready to go back to ask for a refund after having a few sips of my coke which was ok, but it was pouring of rain outside now so I couldn't walk back there or I would of got soaked as I had no coat with me, I had no alternative but to put it all inside the bin after taking photos as I was leaving the hotel very early the following morning. From that evening onwards for about 10 days I was in contact constantly with customer support asking for a refund, but nothing ever came of it as they stopped replying to my emails in the end without giving me the email address of this burger king Manager which I had requested on numerous occasions, i was told that they cannot issue me with a refund as the Motorway Burger King's are a franchise that are privatised, a very disappointing experience that wasted so much of my time as well as my money.

Horrible food. Stone cold and weird taste. Threw away, what a waste. Staff busy chatting to each other. I do hope we didn't interrupt too much collecting our "food". Yukk

Omg where do I begin. This was the worst burger king I have visited. The food was absolutely disgusting. Even our dog turned her nose up at it. They dropped one portion of chips on the floor and had to cook some more. Whilst the other two portions remained on the side along with the burgers. The chips were stone cold so I asked for all of them to be replaced. The vegan burger tasted like cardboard. I have had the vegan burger in hereford and it was delicious. But the one here made me feel physically sick. The food and drinks came to 32.00 and ended up being thrown away. The worst experience ever.

My boyfriend's vegan burger was OK but mine was nothing like in the picture. One vegan cheese layer missing, no salad... Very disappointing.

Good food as per but I've never been to a 'fast food' place where the service has been so slow, even with just five customers in. Wasn't just this one occasion either, it's consistently this slow every time I stop here

Was served by a woman with a neck tattoo named sam who was extremely rude. Asked her if they accepted mobile orders she rudely said " no theres a sign there " we looked everywhere for the sign and found a small sign at the back of the collection desk. It should be on the ordering screens where it would be noticed. Mentioned it was hard to see she just said " yeah i know i didnt put it there" and ran off out the back. Manners cost nothing. I can see why she is working fast food in her 50's with this attitude. Food was fine but the sevice was terrible.

Arrived at 9.30, was originally looking for McDonald's but settled for BK, they'd already cleaned for closing but polite kid served us, and we were pleasantly surprised by the food. Double whopper was hit, well made, crispy lettuce onion and tomato. Full selection or sauces, bbq and spicy mayo went well with crispy hot chips. Ice cream was good. Overall best services burger we've had in a while... looking at other reviews I think timing is crucial as it was very quiet on Sunday night.

Service at BK was pretty fast, considering the amount of guests. Got some fries, a coke, a crispy chicken and some nuggets. All tasted good, freshly made. Still hot and crispy. No complaints. Prices are fair, standard is good. An enjoyable meal, which we ate outside on the picnic table since no dogs allowed inside. All in all a good lunch break.

The automated order system is a total disaster!!! This is certainly NOT fast food. I person serving is ridiculous

If you want no where to sit and wait half an hour for your meal, this is the place for you.

The menu is difficult to manoeuvre. There are no explanations as to what the actual food is. No visible prices or explanations.

I watched the member of staff pack our food and noticed he hadn’t put the straws in. He handed me our order and turned away immediately. My partner said she would get the straws. I didn’t think there would be a problem as even if we just wanted 2 straws each it’s ‘Have It Your Way’ right. The staff member refused to give my partner the straws saying he’d already put them in the bag. Bag contents 2 burgers and 2 fries and nothing else. My partner said she would go back and get the straws, but as it had taken more than half an hour to queue the first time and I wanted to get home, I told her not to bother. Back home our drinks were warm and watery as the ice had melted. Burger King have saved themselves two straws and lost two customers! Well done!!

We were hoping for a lovely meal and the end of a long road trip but unfortunately this did not meet our expectations. We ordered, paying £25 pounds, for our meals but we were missing 2 burgers and 1 nugget.What a scam! I personally cannot believe this outrage. Not to mention the employees arguing in the kitchen.

Post apocalyptic Wild West. If you want to eat in, bring your own chair! Approximately the size of a public toilet, this place serves sprite that taste like windolene. I wouldn’t even put my elbows on the tables let alone the food.

Called in for a food stop. Only had one item on the menu, no explanation as to why . The chicken Royale meal . Only customer , yet our chips were Luke warm and the chicken Royale was very under whelming..bun , Chicken, lettuce not even well presented.Hot chocolate was only half a cup. Will not be stopping here again.

Stop off for a break. Decided on BK. Service was fast and good. Polite kid serving. Went for the Bacon XL. Food was hot a fresh for a change and by some miracle they had mayo. Services have large car park and all the usual stuff. Would recommend.

Order at 12.22pm the staff served all the numbers before me and after me.. yet my food was sat there as o could see my order.. it had sat there for 20mins.. so ag 12.45pm I asked for a refund as I expect my food hot not cold.. the staff was slow and useless.. even other customers was saying how useless and slow the staff are...I would never go there again.. this is not the first time I've had a issue here... being a hgv driver o don't have time to stand around for ages waiting for food... as the lad refunded me the girl then called my number so told her may as well put that in the bin love as I don't want it now... after it's sat there for over 20mins

Restaurant due to open at midday. Still closed at 12.10. No sign of any activity from staff. Gave up and decided they're not deserving of my business.

There wasn't much of a queue, but it still took nearly 30 minutes from getting there to receiving my food. All the ordering machines were broken and the staff were very slow. Will avoid that branch in future

Don't expect much, taste like a BK burger however a bit squashed. Young staff on minimum wage don't care about your food. Easy to order place is clean.

Poor service, poorly made burger no urgency to rectify. Asked for salt, got told it’s in the bag! Walk the length of the car park, got in my car to find out their was none, walked back waited for the one person serving. Explained and she walked off. I repeated again this time saying my foods getting cold and can I have some salt. Still no urgency she eventually understood and gave me the salt. After getting back to my car. I opened my double bacon XL and found it to be poorly put together and lacking the correct amount of cheese slices which made it very dry. Couldn’t be bothered to walk all the way back seeing as I have just been driving for 4 hours and two to go... I know all this seems petty but its still disappointing with their a lack competence and understanding

Go at your own risk. Flat white not even half a cup filled, crispy chicken and Royale both with black lettuce nuggets cold. This is the worst branch of Burger King even the smallest take away in the world will serve better quality burger than this one. Avoid, Use subway or starbucks at this services

Good takeout service using touch screen except for there being no way to deselect messy mayonnaise slop from a Whopper with Cheese.

When on a journey you want fast food. Nearly 20mins for a nasty burger is just rubbish Avoid!!!! Frustrated screaming kids everywhere, the place was really grubby, and the staff could not have been any less interested.

Everything was oily and greasy, including the tables and chairs, wasn't a pleasant experience, the burger wasn't bad.

I would like to leave a zero star review, shame the highest is 1 star. Ridiculously poor service! The place wasn’t even busy and we waited 15 minutes for our order (1burger, chips and mozzarella sticks) to come out! 10orders were served before ours, when we made them noticing it, all we got was a “nothing we can do”, not even extra fries. They really know how to make their customers happy. Never stopping at this service station again.

The place was quiet. Only a couple of people ordering. No one eating in restaurant. Our burgers were hardly warm. Crumbly. Obviously precooked. I didn’t finish mine. My partner ate all of his. We both had bad tummy’s 5-10 hours after consuming. Will never eat there again. AVOID!!!!!

They have two ways to pay. Card-pay order points and a manned till. But only one 'proper' queue (which was spelt 'que'). Not a very 'Lean' process.

The experience starts with the very poorly designed self ordering machines which spit out 2 receipts, with one containing a heavily diaguised randomly generated 5 digit size 6 Arial font order number. After a 3 hour wait expect your food to be served dry, and if you are eating in, make sure you have all your vaccinnations and do your best not to put anything on the filthy tables.

Considering there were only three customers (and one of those was behind me) and there were three staff visible to us behind the counter (although only one appeared to be working at serving the three customers) it still took 7 minutes to satisfy my order of a coke without ice. And even then they managed to serve a coke with ice.

Very slow unhurried service, staff looked like they hated every minute of being there. One was more interested in sorting cups than serving. Also, I was told that they don't sell Strawberry or Vanilla Milkshakes. I thought all branches did.

If the food was Jail food I would cause a riot. If the staff was in Jail with me I would not protect them in the shower.

Would give this place a minus rating if I could! Stood in a queue here for FORTY MINUTES today to get served. There were only about 10 people in front of me so I was anticipating 5-10 minute wait. But 40...?! Not what you want when you've spent the previous 3 hours stuck in traffic jams on the M5! There were three people 'out front' (not sure how many round the back preparing the food but presumably not many) but only one till open, although even when I got to the till I had to wait several minutes before being served and then another 10 minute wait for the food. Quite simoly the worst 'fast food' experience I have ever been unfortunate enough to experience. Could have had a sit down meal in the time wasted here.
