Lovely food and really tasty. For a little bit extra hangfire on eatting it straight away and bang the Crispy stuff in the air fryer for 10 mins and it will blow your mind

Awful food . Poor quality . Chicken curry in cubes and not even a half of a chicken breast . Small egg foo young and small portion of chips for £17 . Won't go again .

Been coming here for more than 20 years. Food has always been good but it now takes over an hour from walking in and ordering to receiving the food. Shame but won’t be using again.

i came here once on a holiday and the food was amazing service was amazing and the shop was clean and looked like a good environment would totally recommend

Sweet and sour chicken balls, special fried rice, honey ribs and prawn crackers. All very tasty, hot and portion sizes plenty for 2. Just one improvement for slightly healthier dinner less batter on the chicken. Otherwise, Great improvement on meals gone by. Thank you.

This used to be a jewel in Bridgwater's crown. Now, the food is absolutely terrible. Had a special for two that honestly looked like it had been sicked up by a cat. Grey beef in 'grey-vy', anyone? I will admit to eating some of it but had a terrible stomach after. Awful food. 🤮🤢

First and last time eating here the food was absolutely shocking, ordered special chow mean, a cadaver dog would struggle to find anything in it other than noodles and beansprouts which tasted very burnt, also ordered salt and pepper ribs, they were that tough they went in the bin, and a curry sauce I ordered was like water, by far the worst take out ever, Very very poor dont waste your money. If you walk 200 yards towards bar brunel there is China Palace, the food is very good there can highly recommend 👌

Well 1st time eatening here and will be the last time food was awful chips were like rubber curry sauce......... Well I've never tasted or seen curry sauce like that in 30yrs I've been eating prawn crackers were stale sweet sour chicken balls were over cooked full of Grease and even the dog didn't want them

Worst takeaway from this establishment we've had. Rice smelt and tasted burnt. Chicken balls burnt on outside, and few balls chicken. No where to be seen. Not normal service.

Was told of a 'short wait time' and was waiting for an hour and a half!! Food was ok but not worth the wait

We've been eating from Canton for 5-6 years now normally about once every two months. The food is always amazing quality with plenty of taste. The staff are ALWAYS friendly and helpful. My only negative (Because I am lazy lol) is they sadly don't do delivery.

Be prepared to wait outside for 30 mins after your ‘collection time’. It’s happened on too many occasions, will not be using again.

So so tasty and has been one of my favourites for many years. The staff are very friendly and are always happy to assist in any matter.

Having used this take away since living in the area, today the food was far below par the King Prawn chow mein tasted burnt the prawns under cooked the Sweet and sour sauce tasteless and barely warm. I will try another take away after this meal

Food is always lovely but frustrated that even though you order in advance and given a collection time they never start cooking your order until you turn up resulting in having to wait a further 20 minutes or more. Same thing happened again tonight.

Lovely meal and had a good service. Had to wait a 30minutes more than anticipated but I can fully understand when there was only 1 person to serve and the place was packed! I would come again for the tasty food.

local ok chinese have 2go in they do not deliver

Have had several takeaways. Food generally OK and would go back again. Not the best I have had but better than average. Quality of chicken was good but the chicken and mushroom was disappointing - looked pale, was salty and a bit gloppy (my wife said like wall paper paste).

Without a doubt the worst Chinese I have ever had, I was working in the area and staying for the weekend & was hungry. Ordered a take away and couldn’t eat it!!!! Salt salt & salt. what a waste of money!!!!

The food is edible. Bit greasy though, and watch out check that your order is correct and you haven't been over charged. Vegetarians be aware, sometimes you might find meat in you dish. Like my veggie son found meat on two occasions.

Great chicken chowmein and sweet and sour canton style

Its happened a couple of times now, ordered sweet & sour pork cantoneese style, & you get chicken. The 1st time I was told my wife ordered it wrong,(I was sat next to her when she ordered PORK) To make it worse, the second time I double checked with the young lady on the end of the phone that I ordered PORK during my telephone order, & that she had my order correct. Collected half hour later & I even told the girl what I had ordered when asked my name for the collection. Drove 20 minutes back to caravan, & guess what...Chicken! Shame really as quite enjoyed the food, but can't be bothered to go somewhere that can't give you what you ordered & happy just to palm you off with something else without telling you.

Poor food! Watery/vinegar sweet and sour sauce, crunchy not crispy chilli beef, overcooked noodles, very dry dry ribs. I would not describe any part of my meal as"GOOD", at best mediocre. I know Bridgwater isn't the centre of the universe but I did expect better!

Working in the area Phoned for a pick up but never had the menu so asked for my usual (from home) to which they agreed but on pick up I was told they don’t do salt and pepper ribs so I would have to have barbecue ribs. To which I declined and asked for chicken balls instead, which were rushed an very under cooked, very poor service , would I go back, a most definitely NO

Had the set meal for four and a separate portion of noodles. All meals treated identical as in tasteless. The prawns were in burnt batter. Absolutely awful and waited just under an hour for this rubbish.

Phoned to place an order. Was told order would be ready at 7.20pm. Arrived at 7.15pm. Order was not ready. Waited for my order for 45 minutes. At 8.00pm, I asked for my money back and went elsewhere. No apology, just handed money to me. There had been people who had been waiting just as long long. I will never purchase food again from this establishment.

Generally Canton delivers a good meal hence we sometimes go when visitors are around. I will normally have some chips as a side to my meal and share with my wife.

Excellent food cooked quickly and reasonably priced the only draw back is there is no delivery service

Had a few meals from here. Sometimes it's good but sometimes it's not. It all depends on the day of the week. Weekends it's usually average. Week days it's poor but not awful.

We love this place for food!!! I live outside of Bridgwater and more than happy to travel to collect their food. They offer a telephone order service but only cook the food once your on the premises. yummy food and never had a problem!!

We used to use this takeaway weekly when my family and I only lived less than a mile away from it. We moved and have not used it for a couple of years, Unfortunately for us our now regular Chinese Takeaway closed early so I decided to go back to the Canton. What a Mistake that was. Chicken curry consisted of rectangular processed chicken pieces with one Pea, Two pieces of Mushroom and five pieces of uncooked onion with the thinnest consistency curry sauce I have ever had, just like water, With no taste to it at all. Spring Roll consisted of six, Two inch x half an inch miniature rolls again with no taste or substance to them. Special Fried Rice was slightly better but overcooked and a portion of re-fried chips were Rock solid and un-edible. This is by far the worst Chinese take away I have ever had and a very big disappointment as the Canton used to be very good. I don't know if it has changed hands or not but the comparison from a couple of years ago until now is massive. I will never use this takeaway again and I can not recommend it at all as its gone so far down hill. What a Shame !!

Great place for Chinese takeaway, lovely tasting food

ordered chicken and cashew but, black bean and chicken and plain rice. rice perfect. chicken and cashew had no nuts in it at all. portion size was in a small tray. half the size i am use to! black bean sauce was tasteless. I did ring and complain and to be fair was offered another meal. but won't be visiting again.
