Burger King in Winchester

No late night food here - closes at 8pm - W.TF? Why would you lose a restaurant at 8pm what is this the 1970s again?????????

Abusive staff unwilling to assist when I had difficulty ordering at the kiosk. Argued that kiosk working well. I walked away. They obviously are not interested in customers. Later tried BK at Fleet Services - they could not have been more different. Friendly and helpful.

Advertising products that they don’t sell. No indication that they don’t sell it. Waiting at till and ignored for a bit. Finally found out product wasn’t available low despite being advertised. Placed order using kiosk machine. Fine all done. Waiting for food and basically just left on counter. Didn’t even call out number - I wasn’t looking as expected number or be called out. Walked over to collect it and staff were just not bothered. Pushed tray towards me and walked off. Clearly gone are the days of politeness. I understand you can’t use the app there and that’s not their fault. Would even give me my MOD discount for use at services. Not a good experience of BK. Hopefully there were having an off day. Although as typing this can see someone else now going up to complain 😂😂

Have been waiting 20 minutes for order. Only one young lady serving. Doing an excellent job but will never manage the volume of orders on this Friday night. Not exactly fast food!

This was the worst Burger King I’ve ever had, so over priced for a new burger to have no sauce in it, the burgers was stale and dry, the bacon fries - the bacon was old and didn’t taste right and the milkshakes tasted like chemicals - to say 2 meals with a couple of sides for 2 people came to over £40 is disgustingly for the quality of food as it was inedible. Unfortunately has no time to complain as we were in a rush

I had awful dried up and pretty tasteless cheeseburger! Nothing like the marketing images they use! Wont be coming here again anytime soon!

Me and my girlfriend each bought a burger from here, within about 2 hours we both had shortness of breath and coughing, the next day chest felt very heavy and haven’t felt right since, we were both perfectly fine prior to this and always wore a mask, we noticed the person handling all the food had NO MASK and NO GLOVES.DO NOT EAT HERE PEOPLE THE FOOD IS TOXIC AND THE STAFF HAVE NO CARE FOR SAFETY OF OTHERS.

7.30 pm on Sunday, towards the end of a 3hr drive. So very happy to receive friendly polite service from Winchester South services' Burger King. Excellent burger, (far better value and service than our last one, back in November 2019, in Ho Chi Min City airport!), good social distancing measures, no inside seating...so we sat at one of the picnic benches in the evening sunshine...lovely. They were taking orders only via the large touch screen order points. Hopefully they are disinfected frequently.Such a tasty and welcome meal!Access is level, doors are automatic, toilets are open. Good parking.We also briefly visited the Northbound Winchester services in the morning. On both visits, there were few customers, so easy to keep distance.

My salad was fresh and tasty. Disappointed inside was not open yet. But I understand with the virus out there. I would stop here again.

Don't bother stopping here if you want a beef burger....I stopped to have a whopper because, TBH, I was tempted by all the recent advertising but there were no "Beef" burgers only Chicken....I didn't realise BK was now a KFC

Food ordered on screen. We waited and waited and waited. It transpires that whoever's is in charge thinks 3 men can run the whole thing. WRONG! They were busy which is fair enough but then when people are sick of waiting and want a refund they serve them straight away. This leaves the orders in a shambles and the more patient people kept waiting even longer. No Fast Food should take 40 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous. The whole place was unbelievably bad. Especially the ridiculously designed car park that is like a maze and causes traffic gridlock. Don't bother!

For technical reasons (someone forgot to order the beef patties) no beef burgers available, so I had a "crispy chicken burger with onion rings. Bad choice. Onion rings stone cold, possibly yesterdays from the taste. The burger was overcooked and dry as Ghandi's flip flop. To think I paid over £30 for 4 of us to eat this shambolic meal makes me angry. Absolutely no point complaining, the queue was too long to get back to the counter.If I could award zero marks I would. Burger King should move out and make way for a company that serves good value tasty food. We got neither here.

Awful standard. Paid £25 for 2 meals and a kids meal. The burgers were tiny and really poor quality. Talk about being ripped off Obviously the only place to eat so they have hiked up the prices and made the quality poor.

We stayed at the Day's Inn on our way back to Gatwick. The only place for food was at the service center. Not much of a choice for late afternoon/supper. We ended up paying over 13 GBP for 2 chicken sandwiches...this equals $22.00 Canadian!! Not impressed.

This was a new burger for me: the King XL Burger, 3 premium steak mince patties-great meaty flavour plus soft cheese slice, the correct amount of white onions & gherkins. Good quality crisp chips. A good solid meal, at 1,000 plus calories it’s filling for a quick dinner

What a bunch of numpies. I could not get served. There were at least half a dozen spotty adolescents with squeaky voices regaling each other about their night before and blatantly ignored me when I was trying to order food. After jumping up and down and waving my arms I gave up and went to costa instead. Good work team. You have taken useless to another level

40 p bajo un diez por un whopper y fichas. Había tanta sal en las patatas que no pude comerlas. Tampoco soporto las papas más gordas. Ellos son horribles Bk. Me has perdido como cliente para siempre. Estoy harto de tu falta de atención al cliente.

No suelo parar por las hamburguesas, pero me encontré con el M 3 que quería un cerdo cocinado para el desayuno y las ofrendas eran de costa, M & S o Burger King. . . Costa siendo mejor en el café. Miré el menú del Burger King y vi el croissant doble de tocino. Ansioso por descubrir este manjar, me uní a la cola solo para desilusionarme al saber que solo está disponible antes de las 10 a. M. Buscando una alternativa para satisfacer el deseo de cerdo, vi el "Rey de Bacon" con 8 rebanadas de tocino y una imagen deliciosa. . . . chico estaba decepcionado. . . . el tocino era tan difícil de ver que tuve que desmontar la hamburguesa para encontrarlo. . . ver fotos debajo de la oferta anunciada y la realidad!

Very average fast food; served in a food hall that is the inside of the service station. Actually service was efficient, food was fast food.

Stopped for a late breakfast and very disappointed. Ordered a sausage & egg muffin meal with the mini hash browns and coffee, which looked pretty good. Unfortunately the muffin turned out to taste like cardboard, the sausage had no taste, and egg was more a mini omelette again with no flavour. Looked nice but tasted horrible, even with ketchup to try and add flavour.

As with my last review, last week, of Burger King at Fleet Services. Terrible service (only two staff at a busy lunch hour - as opposed to Fleet where they couldn't care less). And, as with Fleet, Ice Cream Machine Broken (hottest day of the year / September!!!). I'll avoid Burger Kings in future as two different ones in two locations, three bad experiences in as many weeks!
