Little did I know as we stopped on the A1 north for a burger king, we would travel back in time to a 1970s motorway services. Queuing for the toilets out the door, depressing decor, and all a slightly grubby feel. Loved it - 5 stars

i arrived at 9:30 but was locked out due to staff shutting early.being rude about it leaving me and my family with no food for the night as we were staying at the travel lodge next by

Can't order at counter. Can't select normal drinks for vegan meals via machine. Very annoying.

This is not a direct hit at burger King or greggs itself! It is the actual service place. A lot of people use these facilities for the toilet. 1 toilet cubicle come on ridiculous! No toilet roll in the female toilets and also it STUNK to the high heavens. People sat outside the toilets at the burger king too im suprised they didnt move because of the smell. Sort it out disgusting!

Don’t waste your time going to either Burger King or MacDonalds, both are rubbish, eat proper food instead

Dropped in last night for a couple of cheeseburgers to takeaway. In the car 2 mins down the road got 1st out and it was lukewarm 2nd was almost stone cold. Not a happy bunny. Bit of a scruffy place behind the filling station in a car park full of potholes. Needs updating

Good fresh food , not busy at the time of visit but freezing inside so had coat on during visit

Hidden little number, pricey as hell but they generally are. Hit the spot.

Much the same as any Burger King. This is a small place sharing a building with Greggs. The building and car park are pretty run-down and grubby. In particular the toilets are disgusting. Disabled toilet has been out of oder for ages. The gents toilets stink and clearly haven't been cleaned properly (if at all) for weeks. Good handy location, shame about the dirty setting.

This little burger King is by far the best I've been in . Lovely hot food , great service from Happy staff , and really clean , well done team . 👏

The aptitude of the staff is really bad. Even after asking for tissues and a cup cap, it is hard for them to give it. I got a Coca-Cola with more than half cup of ice in it. Really disappointed about the customer experience. Better to give the staff a session to understand how to treat a customer.

Cold and empty. It was a much needed break though!

My cheese burger was cold, but the staff were great, and gave us a new one.

It is what it is, fast food burgers and fries, it's fill belly, but service was quick, food was hot, and cos they got the order wrong(and rectified it immediately, I hasten to add) we got an extra fries for free!

Absolutely not the staff to blame at all, horrible place big queue for the toilets, can't order at the counter for goodness sake,it a change of policy thing they say, doesn't explain why a human can't take an order!! It's just another way for a company to get you to work for them for nothing and cut back on staff wages. Still I guess we all have a choice

I like Burger king food over other fast food chains. On this particular venue The service is quick and the prices are reasonable. The place was clean and wasn’t crowded. Toilets are on the smaller side but were reasonably clean. There are enough parking places but exit from A1 is very sharp so is joining back to A1. It's definitely a go-to spot for a satisfying fast food meal! 😋👑

Challenging trying to make an order as you have to use the smartscreen or get a good enough signal to download the app. I'll be prepared next time. A wonderful young member of staff did come and sort my order for me as they can not take orders at the counter.

The water features are very pleasant and make this a great place to stop and have a break and some food.

Ok as a quick pit stop. Only 1 female toilet. Lots of queues for toilet and food.

It was a very convenient stop off on a long journey.. Not loads to choose from, but just enough for what you need..

It's quite isolated on the motorway. But if you need to grab some food this will likely be a spot.

We had travelled over 100 miles that day and were happy to find the Burger King. However, the disabled toilet was out of order and the others were pretty dirty to say the least. Then when I got my cappaccino it was only about one third full. We were in a hurry so didn't bother complaining but very disappointed.

Grim. The only applicable adjective to describe these 'services', in the midst of which lies BK. Food/service exactly as you would expect; the car park is a sea of litter and it feels like a gathering point for narcotic salespeople.

Cracking little quiet services off the A1. Toilets are fine other than being small but how much room do you need? Nipped into BK, accepted app promo, food made fresh in 2 minutes, decent services - Job done.

Handy stop off on A1 but be prepared for a scary return to the road as very short slip. Food was typical Greggs/BK. Very limited toilets and had run out of roll. Tables and floor in seating area needed a good clean.

Much more expensive than high street branches. The Peppercorn Angus burger looked FAR more impressive in the photos than in reality. Bacon still had unrendered fat. Served lukewarm. I must remember to bring my own sandwiches in these long trips - they would be far better and far less expensive.

Quiet time staff were not very friendly or happy to work dirty tables so ate outside in the car

Whilst driving home from London I stopped for a break and a bite to eat, the food was as I should as it was burger King but I also stopped for the toilet. I couldn't believe how bad it was, it was like a scene from transpotting. If I could have held on for another 2 hours I would have. I realise that the toilets get used regularly but they really must get checked and cleaned regularly too...

We stopped at the services, and used Burger king for a burger. Usual average quality, but the prices were higher than the normal High Street stores, quality at best average, but we did not want to use the dirty machines to order, so went to the counter, we had to use cash, as no card machine is available.

The people that work at this Burger King are always friendly and polite. They really care about the experience of guests. For that reason we've started going here anytime we fancy a cheeky fast food meal.

Stopped by at this services in the evening and there wasn't many food outlets open inside apart from KFC or Burger king. We opted for burger king. Decided to place our order at the till and the manger that served us was pleasant and friendly. Food didn't take to long to get cooked, so it was nice and hot. Food wise, it's like an other fast food. You know what you're getting, put the burger and food we ordered tasted nice for what it was.

A small group of us stopped here on our way to London. Wheatley Services, by the A40 and M40 roads. Spacious car park, with lots of amenities a short walk away. Clean and tidy throughout (inc. the toilets). We headed to BK for breakfast. Served by Tracy who was polite and helpful. There are certain discounts available if you ask the staff and show confirmation. Not many customers about and our meals arrived quickly. Lots of seating available, within pleasant surroundings. My meal was most enjoyable. A good break.
