When chairs are moved very noisy could have better furniture. Food ok chips are still the best double cl still really good. Just very noisy

The chips were sooo soggy and the burger was cold disgusting overall I would not recommend going to that place again 😢😢😢😢

Food was okay - facilities, seating area absolutely awful. Very poor cleaning - which is staggering given the number of people using these services.

The drive through is really bad they never ever get our food order correct. If you go in take everything out and check every burger. Dont pay for extra cheese you wont get it. When the Whopper is made right and it is fresh and hot It Is amazing. Unfortunately it is rarely made right. I have had Burger King on three continent's and this one really needs retraining Great Product very bad management Upper management needs to get off their buts before other burgers come in and blow this place away

Disgusting. Dirty place, tables over flowing. Bins overflowing and in the floor. Gave wrong order twice. Loos a health hazard. No loo paper, poo and blood everywhere. Blood paper in the carpark and sick. Car park far too small. DO NOT VISIT. Needs closing down

Asked for Fanta and got a coke. Asked for a large meal and got 5 chips. What have I done to deserve this.

Have eaten here before and was disappointed, but we thought it might be better if we tried it again? Nope! Not only was the food cold and parts missing, the receipt machine wasn’t working again, and I witnessed staff constantly touching faces, ears and one lad take his hat off wipe his hand through his hair, replaced his cap and continued to handle food! Yuk! We won’t be eating here again!

Called in here on way home from holiday, never again. Dirty tables and floor, squashed fries all over the floor which could cause someone to slip. My grandson wouldn’t use the loo as it was disgusting. Food wasn’t brilliant either. Won’t use a bk again wasn’t a pleasant experience.

First of all Drive through very slow and never gets your order right. I always get a triple wopper with triple cheese and I ask every time to put the cheese between the burger patties Nope every time all just tossed on the top patty or even worst just one slice of cheese. My family and I get three burgers and three fries and three drinks and what a bloody mess in the bag and they never offer drink caddies . I have eaten at Burger King in both Canada and America and if the saw what you guys are doing to their name and food they would close it down. They need new more mature Managers and retrained staff. Calm down relax and just do the job right.

Went there with family and basically my mom got served RAW BACON which made her puke, DISSAPPOINTED gross

To start the restaurant was an absolute hygiene hazard. No clean tables and greasy looking staff members touching all the food nearly made me sick. The staff members seemed more interested in swearing to each other than serving customers which I found terrible when there was children’s sat at tables. The food came messy and was not even warm I understand it’s fast food but common sense would tell you not to serve cold chips something that these staff also lack as well as personal hygiene

A dirty disgusting place! There was a container on the floor behind the counter catching dirty water from a food machine. Cold barely edible food. Not a clean table in sight, rubbish all over the floor. Was not even busy- staff stood having a natter instead of cleaning up the dump! No toilet roll in the loos either - it was all over the floor! Unfortunately to have to leave at least 1* to review otherwise it would be 0! Will never return here - quite surprised we are not all ill after our visit!

Ordered a cheeseburger with fries and a coke. Bun was dry, like it was a week old. Burger was so salty. Everything was barely a child's portion. Coke was flat. My son said it was about £6. Really pleased there's a McDonalds opening over the road soon although let's see if they get a decent manager in it, otherwise I'm sure it will go the same way.

Dirty tables; dried food and drink splashes, customers are expected to clear their tables no evidence that the staff cleaned the tables in between customers. Chairs sticky and dirty. The floor was sticky and covered in dried food and bits of paper. We ordered five items and the staff "forgot" about two so had to go to the counter to remind them. At this point there was no queue staff appeared to prioritise chatting to each other than making sure customer orders were correct. Check your coffee mugs before leaving the counter as ours were only 3/4 full. The toilets were ghastly, floor covered in water and bits of toilet paper, hand driers were not working no paper towels available so had to dry your hands with toilet paper. Avoid this place.

The burger was dry the chips were cold I asked for no salad they gave me salad and the service was terrible and some young girl called Kelsey used some foul language when I asked for a straw

Despite a joining a long queue as the just opened. I was served quickly and the food was hot and fresh. Severed by a polite man who helped get my burger just right as I'm fussy! Lady handing out food was lovely and had all the correct item in bag ready. Always choose this burger king thank-you for your great service

If you want overcooked, dried out, lukewarm fast food than this is the place for you. If you want fast food that is cooked ok (ok we all know fast food will never be great) then try McDonald’s at Taunton.

Been sat out here in a queue for around 35 minutes, no word from any kind of staff to the people in front as to what the problem is, just shocking, clearly can’t cope. Also the car park is an accident waiting to happen, probably wouldn’t bother!

liLve up the road been here twice first time i thought maybe chef had bad day second time no excuses! Stopped at the Ilminster Travelodge for a few nights. When you arrive there is no other place next to it to get something to eat. You have a petrol station, a Greggs (but this was shut when we arrived) Sainsbury's on the go and Burger King. The Burger was hot, the chips were ok, staff friendly, quick service, very clean and everything you would expect from a fast food chain.

With much anticipation we watched as the tatty old little chef changed in to a Burger King with the promise of a NEW local drive thru. Then Covid-19 ☹️Today we visited it for the 1st time, limited menu but very polite, Covid safe. & as its limited menu its cooked to order so it’s slower but fantastically fresh.We will return again & when it’s fully open on a full menu.Well done New Management.AAA*

So today we went to burger King and when we got back home there was not a single bit of food that we ordered!! This is absolutely poor professionalism. This ain't the first time I've had a bad experience with burger, I don't normally do reviews but this time I've had enough. Will not being back.

Saw that this particular burger King had thier drive through open and as me and my partner had been craving a cheeky burger since lock down we decided to pay them a visit, fabulous customer service from both staff on each window very polite and cheerful which was fantastic concidering the current situation, food was very promptly handed over and food was fresh, hot and very tasty would definitely visit again soon xx well done to the fantastic happy staff

Brought a kids mean and whopper burger mean. Plus chicken fries. Food at obviously been cooked in preparation and left way to long on hot plate wasn't fresh to order. The whopper burger lettuce was slimy and not fresh! All food was terrible and reheated. All squished into a small takeaway bag which was bursting at sides. Overall awful ended up throwing it all away as wasn't going to let my daughter eat it. Kids meals wasn't even aged separate. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED! as only just opened on isle of wight so expecting better quality!

We went to this place as it was next to the hotel we were staying at the food was over cooked so was very dry chips had been cooked twice as some had soaked up the oil so you had a mouthful of oil service was very slow and you were made to feel awkward for coming in they were cleaning @ 6pm & sometimes ignoring people waiting to place orders I would give this place a zero out of 5 if I could I love Burger King but this one I will avoid in future whether I stay in the hotel or am passing I would definitely pass

Avoid.We popped in for a meal. The place was very uninviting and looked unclean. Clearly some work in progress. The meal presentation was shoddy as though it had been thrown together without much thought or effort. If the place is being refurbished it needs to be closed down until it is finished. Can’t even make their veggie bean burger vegan. Very poor show in 2019 that they are unable or unwilling to cater for those who choose not to eat meat.

Only needed a snack and drink. Person serving very pleasant but not trained for dietary needs. Pointed in the direction of a long list which I was unable to read. Ended up with only tea, I thought ice cream might be safe but ice cream machine not working. Other fast food outlets at least have bagged salad or fruit but this wasn't an option.

Could this place get any more disgusting. Staff swearing at each other when stood at front counter. Staff touching faces and one picking nose before handling food. There was no evidence of hand washing.

Gives the impression of a closed branch that has been randomly opened for the day. Signposted as “services”, they are all terribly run down - a closed Little Chef, a Travelodge and a petrol station. Inside are a couple of chairs and a tiny cooking area. Having said that the staff were doing the best they could with the little they had and the food was freshly cooked to order (because everything had run out) and was edible.

This is supposed to be part of a service area on the main A303 road down to the south west and only the Burger King was open? The toilets were absolutely disgusting and no one in the Burger King seemed to care. As is common in a lot of BK restaurants, service was slow; possibly caused by the high demand due to the rest of the service area being closed - but perhaps they could have anticipated the high demand and had more staff? No where to sit inside or outside so we had to eat in the car.

In a raised position above the A303 roundabout - You drive in and the fences are down, signs all broken and lopsided. The external bins were overflowing and litter strewn all about and in the hedges. Totally unkempt. Going inside for tea and a pee. As soon as you open the door you can smell the toilets. What is their food hygiene like if this is how they work. Inside the toilets the smell was awful. Dirt everywhere. Who ever owns and runs this place should be ashamed. TO BE AVOIDED - NOT PLEASANT

Stopped to grab a bite on way back from Cornwall well wish I had driven straight past this place.

Unbelievably terrible! Queued for ages to be told they had run out of the only vegetarian option, then two drinks were extortionate, toilets are filthy and so is the restaurant.

Tables and floor dirty. Waste bin full to overflowing with discarded food and packaging spilled onto the floor. General condition of the place was run down, shabby and dirty. All of the waste bins in the car park were full to overflowing and we visited at a time when the restaurant was quiet, so no excuse for negligence. The toilets were disgusting, the urinals were blocked and not draining and so the bowls were full of urine and overflowing onto the floor. This place should be condemned, it is the worst eatery I have ever seen. I sent a complaint to Burger King HQ but I will certainly never visit this slum again so I do not know if my complaint will have any effect. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE, OR YOU MAY JUST CATCH SAME.

Needed a drink after a long drive. Stopped here. Asked for decaf but not available. Vegan food on menu but decaf coffee has yet to reach Burger King. Restaurant wasn’t the cleanest and it was off putting. This used to be a Little Chef and now BK has taken over it’s gone downhill.,won’t stop again

Well you can't really murder a burger King can you? Well no but if this one was I the USA it would be shut down. We can only hope they occasionally read their reviews before its too late. Boy that served us had no idea of giving a great customer experience, actually even a smile or friendly hello was clearly too much trouble. Who I assume was the duty manager was equally grumpy and sloath like in manner. Team spirit absent. Burger and fries were fine, toilets shut, probably best tho. Avoid for now.

Arrived at 11.30am on a Friday so not peak time. 10 min queue to order, only one person serving. No apology for the wait when reached front of the queue. Not enough seating, toilets were filthy. Food was ok but expensive

I am not sure what is going on here but the facilities and surroundings to the actual Burger King ( not rated here) including the toilets and surrounding picnic area are absolutely abysmal. Toilets dirty and totally unhygienic when visited today. Picnic area - Picnic Table on it’s last legs and creaked as we sat. Pretty rotten and decrepit. We awaited it depositing us on the grass. 30 foot high signage. A metal sheet sign had blown down and was left on the grass awaiting a child with its sharp edges. One sign still on the tower had a loose exposed securing screw. Was this the next to come down?

After reading reviews I was sceptical, however I was pleasantly surprised by the fantastic service, our food was delicious and I would 100% recommend.

This place is the prime example of corporate getting rich while great staff kill themselves for minimum wage. They have a crew of regular staff that always deliver great food and service. Then they have a couple of lazy temps that just don't care and pull the team down. The building has dropped so bad in the over five years we have been going there. It was full of families and nice people a few years ago, Now at least half the people that go there are rude they dump trash all over the place, They are foul mouth and let there dogs run wild. There is no real Management running the property and it shows. The window in the front door has been smashed for over two years and Euro Garages doesn't care about the property the staff or the business. I know for a fact they have had a lot of good managers work there and apply to work there and they won't hire real managers they want kids and fools that have had no formal training. When they bring managers up through the company they can pay kids less but we the guest are the ones that suffer. I say hire managers with college degree's and give us better service.One decent manager could be running Burger king and the new kfc that is already doomed if they keep up this crap. Oh one last thing if they had a manager their Milk shake machine wouldn't have been broken all summer long over one of the hottest summer..... Very bad corporate management.

Ate in there with my partner last night. We'd not eaten all day due to a busy schedule so thought we'd go for it and what a mistake. Both have woken this morning with what is obviously food poisoning, can't complain about the staff service per say however the way I feel today I think I can speak for myself and my partner when I say we won't be going back there. Ever. Except for maybe to use the loos.

Got a whopper for the missus (no pun intended) and a bacon double cheeseburger meal for me. Whopper was good size and value as always but double bacon cheeseburger was a joke. It was the same price as the whopper but half the size. Could have got that at mackeedees for 99p! It was a real michael douglas falling down moment. Rubbish

We waiting so long for the order to come out to find incorrect- when we complained the cocky assistant wasn’t helpful at all, just turn and chucked the wrong order in the bin and request another - no apologies!

We were staying at the Travelodge next door and thought we would just pop in rather than travel further a field.

I popped into this BK on my way back from holiday....although small,staff are incredibly friendly....but come on BK....look after your staff...they all looked fit to faint...no air con...although they had all Windows open the air was stifling....it must be 10 times worse the other side of the counter....I really felt for them all....

Saturday 12th may went vto burger king to find no bread availability and a perfectly good reason as to why,due to a recall because of a nut issue totally understand.However, we opted to have chicken Nuggets onnion rings and mozzarella sticks.They were absolutely diabolical.The good was not freshly cooked rather Pappy and rubbery and nearly cold and the dips of which one was nearly out of date tasted stale and it was all rather inedible.We are as we were tired after a long journey we paid for the food and refused a refund in return as I asked the manageress for for thought and give any other customers freshly cooked tasteful food not cardboard cut outs of food.

Had breakfast after overnight stay. Once seated waiter took our orders, drinks served followed by our food. All well presented, hot and tasty. Staff were very pleasant and polite. Just what we needed for our onward journey. Well done

Popped in for a quick snack as passing by at 9pm. The seated area was shut so "take away" only. Cheese burgers were cold and soggy bottomed from sitting around too long. The chips were semi-raw and cold, did not even looked like they had been cooked properly in the first place.. Staff did not care attitude. Confirmed that when walking out due to the overflowing rubbish bins in the car-park. Will not return.

We use this burger king one a fairly regular basis. Have found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Not much room to sit and eat in but if you love local it's just right for takeaway.

This was a lovely place the staff are all very friendly and we had an amazing burger that was delicious it is very cheap and have good deals.

the only down side is the ice cream machine constantly breaking down,kids get disappointed,although the staff are very sympathetic. It needs to be replaced and maybe a milkshake machine also. Milkshakes are in every fast food outlet,other than burger king.

Wow...Just had a couple of burgers from BK, service at front of house was really good, (Lauren I think), place was clean and tidy, good value for money and you must try the hot pepper sauce it really makes yours fries sweat.

Vivimos justo al final de la carretera y en ocasiones sentir como un aperitivo de hamburguesas. Esto es exactamente lo que pretende ser una comida rápida en la esquina de unos servicios. No es bueno para comer ya que no hay mucho para tomar su comida y trae de vuelta es perfectamente aceptable.

Práctico y a los niños les encanta, al lado del Travelodge es mejor que Little Chef, recomendado para un aperitivo, un buen café.

We were staying at the nearby Travel lodge and went here for breakfast, had not tried Burger king before and as I am allergic to Sesame seeds thought I would double check they are not on the Buns! reassured that they weren't we ordered a sausage bap and a breakfast bap, didn't have to wait long and our server Jan was very polite and helpful, we took the food back to our car but on opening mine found it in a sesame seeded bun! took it back and Jan could not of been more apologetic, she was heard giving the kitchen staff a good telling off! came back instantly with the correct unseeded bun and gave us free hash browns and an orange juice to make up for it! everyone can make a mistake but its how you put it right that counts, and in my book Jan did a perfect job.

I live in Ilminster so I decided to go here as it's so close. I regret that decision so much. I don't think the staff know what they're doing. I asked for a bacon cheeseburger and was given a chicken burger, I was given the wrong burger in a king of the day and when we asked for onion rings they gave us these chicken bite things. What's wrong with these people? They can't even get a basic order right. Sort yourselves out.

Its a burger, you get a burger if you want a burger. chips are better than Mc Donalds, Its ok for some people
