Burger King in North Ayrshire

Was not buying to night but wife decided to drive through Chicken Royale is still number one meal & however the chips for the second time are very poor. Not cooked enough and no flavour really when this happens best just go back to `McDonald’s as in my opinion the chips are really good when Burger King gets it right but when they’re wrong they soggie and tastes . Staff letting the team down selling under cooked chips only happens now and then and usually when caring food out that why we always site in and every time get carry out its a hit or miss usually miss If you have a blue light card you get 10% discount at BK We go to BK at least once per week but could be cutting back to monthly if Chios don’t improve quickly

Have just visited the Irvine Branch. One staff member working drive through just eat and main counter. The fella was run off his feet but very efficient, courteous and pleasant. All credit to him. He was under a great deal of pressure and sailed through the very busy period. Food freshly made and delicious.

Today i was in for dinner and over heard a staff member not being spoke to in an appropriate maner by what i can only assume is a manager (tall bald man) speaking down to a female crew member stating "i can do what i want" " You dont learn" also "your geting a notice on a file dont ask me to unlock the door girl" the female worker was visiably upset. I feel this is something that should be looked into by an HR department as if a manager can "do what they want" i dont feel this will be delt with. I hope none of my family ever come across management like this. This episode has really made me feel differently about eating in burger king again. Please treat your staff with respect ! Thanks

Five star experience, could see ma pal through the bacon, his lip also turned bright purple and swollen straight after eating, ya bunch a silly cookies!

Absolutely utterly despicable. The order was a mess. I called and spoke to the "manager" Joanne who frankly, their employment should be terminated with immediate effect. Disgusting attitude, referring to me as "darling" and blatantly unwilling to help or resolve. I am going to pursue this to ensure the franchisee knows who they have fronting up their operation. If any shareholder had made that call I just made to her they wouldn't let her feet touch the ground on the way out

Honestly the place is a farce. The serve one customer at a time including waiting in the food. More interested in just eat orders. Concentrate on the people that are coming into your store

Point blank refused to give the Blue Light Card discount despite it being a Sunday. The conditions of the discount, 20%, says it is valid Sunday to Friday. The manager Gary, wasn’t interested in even checking, just gave a flat no. A warning to any other NHS staff looking to eat here. Also the restaurant had a really strange smell and was really untidy. There was only 4 people actually in the restaurant which speaks volumes about the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff.

Was served quickly and with great staff this franchise chain is a delight for rhe town. Whenever I am in irvine I go here if mcdonalds is too busy.

Great Customer Service, Joanne provided me with a great latte. Also offered to bring it over to me when seated. Over all great place to bring your kids and family, highly recommend

Food cold and burnt missing chicken royal meal and cant get replacement sent as threw just eat. pathetic incompatint staff place is a joke and should be shut.

Chicken Royale is still number one meal & chips are lovely to much prefer BK to McDonalds If you have a blue light card you get discount at BK

Went to Burger King in Irvine, excellent service and friendly knowledgeable staff. Especially Kyla who went out off her way to assist us.

First time visiting today with my little boy. Most of the food was good. We got the chilli heatwave chicken fries which were really good but both burgers were stone cold, the store had been open an hour when we got there so how were they cold?! So cold the cheese wouldn’t melt! Just put me off thinking they could have been from the previous day 🤢 The girl serving us seriously needs to work on her customer skills as well, instead of flirting with the manager (or so he looked like) won’t be back.

We visited the Irvine store today & the girl serving Claire was just the loveliest. So helpful, friendly & cheery, always nice to be nice & she made our day, even my teenager commented

Second time I have been here and the food was cold again gave them the benefit and just the same ment to be fast food took 25 mins and cold stay clear

I visited today 21/11/22, no drive through which was fair enough they were probably short staffed, the ones who WERE there were exclusively serving a "just eat" delivery driver, after a lengthy wait another chap came in after me, and possibly assuming I was being attended to, walked up to the counter and got served immediately, despite the girl telling the bloke serving to serve me. until today I was a regular customer visiting one or twice a week, even putting up with their stale buns as I like their fries. Long story short - I won't be back.

I explicitly asked for vegan nuggets and got given chicken. Even the receipt said the boy had put through chicken nuggets. Wasn’t even busy, we were the only people there. Need to do much better

Not only worst Burger King I have been to but the worst outlet of any company. Visited at 7.30 at night so not busy, Waited in the car park for over 40 mins while they looked after the Just Eat orders. No explanation to wait time and when I got home I had no straw for my now flat juice and no dips with the share box. I am not surprised its empty most of the time, I won't be back.

I really like the drinks machines in this burger king you don't get this option at mcdonalds or kfc so it makes a good addition, but I do miss the ice cream, haven't been in a while, so hopefully they have ice cream again.

We use the drive-thru regularly, always great service and food is always piping hot. Highly recommend.

Went to get a burger as we had been travelling and we wanted something quick, no fuss and cheap....firstly it wasn't that cheap!! Nearby £13 for 2bk doubles and fries.....??point to note is that we would have went McDonalds but it's currently closed for a refurb... anyway I digress....ordered 2 x Double Whopper, shake and fries.... only to be told that they DONT do shakes???? Not that they ran out but they DONT do them??? WTF? It's on the menu??so left with the burger and fries, no drink and £13 poorer..... burger was DRY and I'm not exaggerating... I've never had such a dry, tasteless meat pattie... it was awful and went in the bin... To the Management Team of Burger King.... if something is not being served, remove it from the menu...false advertising.... and I note with interest that none of the reviews have been replied too, so the management don't give a rats ar**... Visited for lunch today, family of 4 , firstly the boy at counter was told not to take any more orders at present!! He said it was so the kitchen didn't have too many orders......... fast food place so you need to wait until kitchen is clear! Now the place wasn't even busy!! Finally got our food but no drink cups to be seen! Everyone else in front of us got offered sauce but no we had to ask !! Secondly the drinks from machine had no fizz said to girl at counter and her reply was it's nothing to do with us the machine does it!!!! Had to ask if we could have new drinks to be told pour yours down the drain and refill them

On a very busy day the staff were excellent. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. They deserve medals for their customer service.

this was a real good place to meet the family on a shopping day out we all got together for a meal and a good chat without interuptions

Staff are helpful, order always correct, place is clean, soft play area which my daughter loves

Okay in the last 5 visits they have not gotten an order correct. Also some of the time milkshakes arent available, other times grills are not working so can't do certain meals, cant do fusions as they don't use mixers, lumps of ice in cold coffee type drinks. Nitbthe cleanest inside or outside shop. Oh and when they make a mistake you the customer have to jump through hoops to fix it. They hardly ever give you receipts so you cannot do the online review. Really the worst Burger King in Scotland perhaps UK

My preference for dining out certainly isn't Burger Kings but you cant help but notice just how popular they are my grand kids enjoy a trip here now and then in fact we cant drive by without them noticing the place and as per usual we go in and have what ever the kids want its always pretty busy pretty noisy and pretty cheap especially at weekends not much more to say I think we all no what to expect burger bars.

Came here through the drive through about 10 o'clock at night, the polish girl through the intercom was extremely rude, we waited 15 minutes at the window while the staff had a carry on which we could here everything, they where screaming which to me is a bit childish, then when we got our food the chips where cold, and my burger was just a bit of meat slapped between a bun, even though I never asked for it plain, doubt I'll be back

I often stop here for a refill and have found the burgers surprisingly tasty and the restaurant nice and clean. I would recommend this branch of Burger King because it is unusual to find a group establishment like this so good!

It's a Burger King , let's be fair there all pretty much the same are they not? Anyway parking is easy access but many make the mistake of trying to enter the exit only .

I ordered a spicy steakhouse with fries and coke. The fries are good, much better the McDonald's or kfc. The burger for me it's the best on burger king. I only have 4 stars and not 5 because it was the first time I tried this spicy version of the steakhouse but I felt nothing spicy, but great burger anyway.

5 year old son decided our Friday night treat would be Burger King so off we go to Burger King, Irvine for some fast food. Well that's a laugh in itself. Restaurant was busy but only two staff serving and only one of them seemed to know what they were doing. The assistant manager was shuffling about putting change into the tills and despite the queue of people waiting to be served just shuffled back through the back! From entering the restaurant to getting our food was 25 minutes fast food I don't think so! My wee boys free toy with the kids menu was a pink trinket box with pink clasps inside he was not amused! The bins were needing emptied and the tables were needing cleaned. Sorry Burger King, you need to pull your socks up!

Visited this Restaurant on Saturday afternoon, staff member who took my order was totally uninterested in me as a customer she was rude and unhelpful. My chips were served cold and when I went back to the counter to ask for them to be changed I was left standing for what felt like an age, my chips were then snatched from my hand by the member of staff who had served me and replaced at no time whatsoever was I offered an apology. IMO if you are eating in this retail park eat at KFC or McDonalds staff are much friendlier and food standards higher.

Ordered my double burger with onion rings got my little girl a kiddies meal and it was tiny! Been to Burger King in Majorca it was a total different place!( ordered the same over there!) £11 for something a could have got double from the chippy round the corner. Robbed.

Visited thsi Burger King for the first time, a bit out of the way even although in the business park in that you have to drive towards Tesco Filling station to gain entry.The decor looked a bit the worse for ware and the food on the menu was as you would expect for a fast food outlet. I ordered one of the ir specials and no matter how you dress up the fare it will always be a hamburger.The food was good but could have been warmer and the coffee was the same. We visited the premises at the request of my 5 year old grandaughter, who knew about the softplay area, having been on a visited with her Mum & Dad.Therein lies another tale, if you are providing a service of this kind for the children then there should be someone there to make sure that they were using the facilities properly. Despite notices that shoes must no be worn and that socks were, I witness children with no socks and outdoor shoes being worn. Not very hygenic.All in all an aveerage experience from an adults point of view but a "thumbs up" from my grandaughter.
