Curry King in North Ayrshire

Ordered a delivery, can't fault the service. Pleasant gentleman took order & the delivery was prompt. Ordered chicken pakora which was delicious and a spicy chicken pizza, they must have mixed up the spice with salt. The pizza had no spice whatsoever! OMG! The amount of salt in this was awful, glad we don't suffer from high cholesterol. We were up all night needing water.

absolutely terrible, order was for a pizza and a calzone , 20 mins after placing the order I had a call saying no Currys were available so we agreed on a grill box , again after 40 mins I called to cancel then 15 mils later a stone cold pizza and a dry nan bread with cold Donner was there , not impressed but hey ho

Paid an extra £4 for cheese on munchy box, didn't get any. Also no chicken wings in the munchy box. Pizza was okay 👍

Not to the usual standard. Pakora was cold and minimal veg in pitta.

Pakora was good, the curry was fairly bland and didnt taste of much, rice was stodgy and stuck together in clumps

Absolutely disgusting, still waiting now 3 hours later for rice to acc be delivered that is edible! The food is disgustingly which I received! And they think by sorting it they can say ( sorry it’s because we’re to busy)!! absolutely vile!

2 Hours late and the didn't even get the order right, spend your hard earned money elsewhere folks, they certainly didn't earn mine.

Cold, chicken was extremely dry. Donner King Kebab was good size portion. Chicken Tikka King Donner was poor portion level. Naans were very doughy 😢. Not the usual standard as have ordered many times before

Quick delivery and food good however Donner was missing from 1 on the hoagies, very strange.

Absolute joke of a place, pay for delivery and the send the complete wrong order. After back and forward with the shop telling me it was being fixed and then again that it was on its way, being given 2 drivers number to find out where my order was and the driver was told to come collect the wrong order with no replacement. 1 hour and 30 minutes after the wrong order was delivered I Had to come down myself to get them to sort it.

First time ordering from this Shop. It did say it would be 1hr 30mins and it was that. The pizza was the bottom end of the lukewarm scale, im still trying to figure out if it was half cooked or just sat an hour. Id have known id never accepted!!!

Order was wrong - the chicken wasn’t tikka which just changed the expected flavour of the dish , in the lamb dish the meat was fatty and chewy (not well cooked at all) and the naan bread was soggy, doughy and tasteless. Overall one of the least appetising curry’s we have had and the order was wrong. Really disappointing and really annoyed with just eat for not sorting it out!!

Sadly, we appear to have been at the end of the delivery schedule and the food was cold… into the bin! 🤷🏼‍♂️. The driver sat in his car for a few moments, no doubt on his phone, before arriving at the door with our food in an unzipped delivery bag. Called the restaurant. Very pleasant guy but sad to have been let down again

Absolute mountain of a meal on a 10" pizza. Extra dip. Can't fault a thing.

Delivery took an hour but the food had obviously been sitting in the bag for ages. Everything was soggy and lukewarm. Disappointed as food is usually so fresh.

The pizza munchi box any one I have ever had the chips donner meat and pakora have come seperate but this one the chips were flung in with it so it was a soggy pizza very disappointing and also the vegetable pakora was soggy not crispy wont order aga

Long wait for food. Cold an unappetising when arrived. Ordered cheeseburger ...no salad just raw onion... got no onion and lots of salad!! Had to phone 3 times to see where order was. Very disappointing

My food was like it had been half eaten,the munch box came with chips,chicken pakora and 3 onion rings. The cheese and garlic naan bread was burnt black I complained for them to send out a completely different order and now won’t accept responsibility for it

never got my order and no help on the phone to sort it out.

Waited nearly 2 hours for food that was slightly warm and was missing an item. This is not the first time we have ordered and waited too long for delivery. Won't be ordering from here again unfortunately.

the food was cold the chips where that bad when I went to tip them out the tub they came out in one big clump and the chicken tikka was full of water looking stuff horrible

Placed a phone order, came in allocated time but missing sauces and cans of juice, phoned straight away to be told would be sent out on new order, still waiting 3 hours later despite phoning several times to see where order is, obviously once they have your money not interested, very poor service

order took over 2 hours to come even after calling to ask about a delay, was just told it was on its way. When the food arrived it was stone cold and unfit for eating. went straight in the bin

a few times I've requested in the notes NO cheese on chips, order arrived with cheese on chips! then I've got to wait a further hr while they send out fresh chips!, also no sauces came with my order tonight! I think when your spending over £20 on an order, you would think they would make sure its right first time! this is 3rd time I've had problems ordering just a munchy box! think it's time to take my custom elsewhere!

Ordered 2 box meals but never received the soft drinks with order despite calling and being told they would get them to me I never received them

Paid a fortune for lots of extra toppings on pizza. It was an absolute disgrace. Barely any topping at all. Pure rip off.

Have used curry King for years but the pizza last night was awful. The veg was lying on top of the base in large chunks and there was hardly any cheese on the pizza. As a result the veg just fell off Something must have been sitting in the box as some of the pizza was stuck to the lid which was compressed! I was very disappointed M Wright

We normally love ordering from here, always a good review but today was different. Chips missing from order. Received plain naan when ordered garlic naan. We had to bin it as it wasn’t edible. Received plain chicken when ordered chicken tikka (for korma). Luckily received a refund from just eat with the chips but all else, sadly, was very disappointing.,

Pizza was excellent, kebab and the madras curry were all excellent all withing reasonable price with a short service time excellent place

was told it was out for delivery for 10/15 minutes will be there soon another 10 minutes pass then they changed the delivery time a further 10 minutes then eventually it arrived cold normally I would go and pick it up and it's great but delivery makes me not ordering again

luv that they do half portions as I could not eat a full portion. chicken korma with rice is my favourite along with the best tasting chicken pakora.

Worst meal I have had in a long time was about 40 mins late after saying it's been delivered Pita bread was solid when I got it like a stale loaf could have broken my glass table with it Chips where soggy but somehow over cooked Onion rings soggy and tasteless Kebab meat worst I have ever had dry and crispy been rotating to long and sitting to long Only good thing in the box was chicken pakora I will never be ordering again sadly

Order from here around once a week, food is always fresh! Delivered fast and piping hot! Their spicy chicken recipe is amazing, I normally filter between spicy chicken pizza/wrap and spicy chicken nachos. Always a pleasure to order!

Went in and bought pizzas a couple of times last week. The pizzas were delicious, and I'm not sure if it were the owners or just staff, but they were so friendly and welcoming. The amount of people that come through their doors is obviously a lot, but they still remembered me from a previous visit and were really lovely to talk to. I don't eat take out very often, but I will without doubt be coming here the next time I do. Really lovely people and superb food! 👌

The chicken pakora had hardly any batter and was burnt and the Donner meat had obviously sat under a heat lamp for a long time as it was very dry

You think ordering when ordering a curry from somewhere called Curry King it would be good. Well it wasn’t. It was amazing! Really happy with it and kudos to the chef

pakora and dips great chicken tikka masala great asked for lamb tikka dopiaza and paid the extra for tikka just normal lamb which was very tough no use for me very oily as well will use again but will add comments to make sure i get what ive paid for

Was a nice experience, delivery driver was wee bit late!! But I live in sticks! Food was nice and still warm, what else can you ask for. Will order again, nice food 😋

The curry contained 8 very small pieces of chicken and lots of sauce. I’ve used this restaurant for years but recently the amount of meat used in the curries has been very sparse. Also within a few weeks I’ve had the wrong item delivered. My extra garlic Nan was a plain one, although I was charged for a garlic one.

I ordered the mixed kebab meal 1 but never got mixed kebab i only got kebab meat

Doubt we will be returning after what we witnessed. I actually don't know how they can operate a business this way! Service was appauling, no organisation whatsoever, people waiting forever, arguing staff members and then dropped pizza on the floor that gets put back in the oven with more cheese on it to cover it up, then handed to the delivery driver. SHOCKING to say the least! Then when we got home our order was wrong! Overpriced and tasteless and cold food. Avoid!

Was disgruntled the delivery drivers attitude was blunt to say the least! And the omelette was cold! I'm a regular customer for gods sake!!!

Food was disgusting. Supposed to be chips, cheese and coleslaw. Still looking for cheese, it was swimming in what I can only describe as runny mayonnaise. Chips were hard. Normally things are OK from here. I don't know if it's changed hands but it's seriously went downhill. For what they charge it's a joke.
