We absolutely love Burger Boi and we have been going every wednesday evening for 18 months - my daughter suffers with allergies but she loves their bbq wings and we have never had a problem until recently... firstly we ordered our food and were clearly over charged but for some reason they have stopped giving receipts so I couldn't check it. I never had a reason to doubt them because we have been going there for so long but the problems have all started within the last 3 months. Secondly and more recently after demanding receipts I realised that we had been over charged by nearly £5, but I had my receipt to prove it and they were accommodating and took the amount off the next time we went. Tonight I went and ordered the same food 10 wings and fries, the price sounded accurate, but when we got home instead of 10 wings there was 3. I was so fed up, but tonight I have just decided that rather than complain I'm just not going back. I have tried to call them but the phone is on BT call minder constantly. The place has gone downhill 👎

Burgers without soul., 1. No proper sauce used 2. Poor quality onions (cheap variety, white / transparent in colour) 3. Lettuce quality not upto the mark. Shredded lettuce used instead of iceberg lettuce. 4. Overpriced for the product offered. Each burger not worth more than £4 each. 4a. Elaborate but unnecessary cardboard boxes used for packaging which shoots up the operating cost. 5. Avoid this place with all your energy, and do yourself a flavour.

My partner and I tried this place for the first time this evening, trying the vegan chicken burger meal. It was tasteless and dry, with only a small amount of fillings and sauce. We decided to put peri mayo on it, which was honestly the best part about the meal. The skin on fries were also mega dry. At just under £13 each, this was very disappointing. Will not be returning and certainly cannot recommend for any vegetarians.

I traveled from Birmingham today, and attended it in Coventry,. Tejas is one of the best employers here. He deserves to be manager !!

Used to be my favourite spot in cov - really not a fan of the new menu. The Korean wings/burger were some of the best I've ever had, but like many other menu items, they've been removed. I tried the new nashville wings, and they were absolutely drenched in oil and tasted nothing like nothing like Nashville spice (more like Chinese chilli oil but very salty). I also ordered the salt and pepper loaded fries, which had no sauce at all on them. Maybe it was my mistake for not reading the item properly on Uber eats, but what loaded fries has no sauce on them?? The new items need to be revisited, and the old ones need to make a return since they've been removed without any good reason.

I order from here via Uber a shameful amount of times per month… the chicken gravy hot mess has become an addiction of mine because it’s SO nice. It’s always a better day ending with a Burger Boi

Good quantity and quality food…

This is the second time I have ordered from burger boi. First time I ordered was on the 30th of April 2022 and I ordered the triple cheese boi and the xl hot mess have to say that was awesome especially the hot mess but her was very nice. But I ordered today 3rd may 2022. I ordered the the bird boi and with the hot mess. The hot mess was very nice. But the burger I would not give a one star. It was literally way over cooked hardly a chicken piece inside and the turkey rashers were burnt to a crisp had to take them out and throw to the side. Would order again but never the chicken.

Both me and my partner have been vegetarians for over half a decade. We ordered 2 vegan burgers, some churros and some fries. The food was delivered and as there was no labels on the box we decided to start eating. Half way through eating my burger I could tell something wasn't right. The texture was off, and the taste was different. I asked my fiancé to check the order, which he did. The receipt was correct, his order was correct on the App we ordered through. I ate maybe half of my burger and my fiancé ate all of his and I started to feel really uncomfortable. I decided to inspect the boxes again, and in scribble biro there was the words "big one" and "AB". Upon looking at the website again, I had realised they had given us meat burgers instead. The fact that the rest of our order was correct was the reason we didn't think anything of it until I started to feel uncomfortable eating it. I proceeded to call the restaurant and a woman answered. She had tried to ring us a few times in all fairness, but this was 15 minutes after our order was delivered so in my opinion it was too late. Obviously I am very upset, we choose to be vegetarian for health reasons and whilst mistakes happen, the way the have handled the situation is what has made it worse. The woman said we had to come into the restaurant for a refund. I have woke up this morning and still not feeling very good in myself, I decided that I didn't want to take the 20 minute drive just to get my money back, so I called them back. The gentleman on the phone told us he could not process a refund any other way except in person, which I don't fully believe. He also asked us not to request the refund via uber eats which also put our back up. So we have reported it to uber eats and I wasn't going to leave a review, but after the phone call with the gentleman this morning, I decided was definitely needed. You need to do better. Either more sufficient labels, or just general care in order packaging is 100% required. If it was an allergy, or for religious reasons it would have a much dire consequence and needs to be taken seriously.

Ordered online & was accepted. Walked 15 mins in the rain & they refunded the order while I was sitting there. A simple double patty burger with fries and a dip for a tenner is an OK deal and I'd been a regular since they opened, anything more turns into a sloppy mess with all the extra toppings they want you to buy. Apparently they can't do a simple burger, he showed me a menu and the next cheapest burger + fries deal was over 40% more expensive (9.96 or something, vs 14.25). They offered to do the deal for me, but honestly at that point I was too annoyed to be hungry. 14 quid for an average burger and fries, collected myself.... in the outskirts of cov. fourteen quid... Tried to send an email to the address at the bottom of the order e-mail and that bounced. Between the time I ordered on storekit and went back to complain they'd updated the site, super sketchy. Pointed out that this kinda thing is regulated by Trading Standards and the Consumer Protection from Unfair Regulations 2008 act. Very bait and switch, will not be returning.

Pathetic customer service i called in for a collection the guy was declining my calls first when he attended the call he was laughing and saying I'm not able to hear you. Absolutely disgusted.

Bloke behind the till didn't seem to care if you were there or not. Place was an absolute state when I arrived just after 4pm. Food was good which I suppose is what we all care about really.

The food is "okay", the prices are ridiculous. £8 for a burger on its own? Where do they think they are, london? Go to Burger lab instead, better food, cheaper.

This is a really good burger bar, really well made tasty burgers and the kids really like the chicken strips. Service is really friendly and helpful and the food is always cooked fresh.

Quite overpriced food, but very tasty and worth it. Packaging is great too. Please add 2 Nutella dips for the 10 churros option as the small dip you give is the one you also offer for the 5 churros option.

Tried a couple different burgers, wings, onions straws and shakes. I can say the packaging was great the burgers average, they put too much stuff on them masking the actual burger and burger flavour, the fries were limp with the usual seasoning the shakes were made with crusham liquid quite sad really I’ll stick to brgr lab as they are miles ahead with their food

We'd previously ordered the burgers and very good they were, sadly on this occasion we ordered the XL Hot Mess & the Mac Daddy. The Mac Daddy was OK however the XL Hot Mess was sadly lacking in flavour and burger content, it was fries covered in copious amounts of sauce with a sprinkling of burger certainly not 2 as advertised. Only flavour was from the sauce everything else was over powered by the sauce,for £12 it was very poor. Will think twice about ordering again. All in all a huge disappointment, writing this review was an afterthought so neglected to take any photos.

Food is ok but Girl working in the evening (no name badge) and one colleague were upset during busy time and was making face and nodding her head in the direction of one the customer(showing disappointment).They behave as if they are making millions in reality ,Working at a fast food shop only to donate as a charity,forget they are working on a minimum wage and providing poor service.
