Another lovely visit, excellent range of cakes and drinks and always a great service.

Came here on Thursday lunchtime. Was very disappointed as I ordered a Ham & Cheese toastie & Kids breakfast & drinks. Lady charged me extra tfor a extra toastie at 8.50, she did refund me though. But when I got the toastie, it wasn't a toastie at all and appearance was gloopy and cheese wasn't grilled brown etc. Imagine my surprise that the lady assistant couldn't refund me for the toasty, as their system does not let them refund a item twice? She did ask me if I wanted anything else, but why would I

Cafe was dirty, floor dirty. My coffee cup chipped and had to ask for another cup poor service. Had to wait soo long for just 2 cappuccinos when there was soo many other members of staff on and not that many customers. Would definitely not eat there

High quality food - well-cooked and tasty. Arrived nicely presented, all packaged up separate (bonus points for Baxter's: everything's recyclable, so that bit's guilt-free!). We recommend the Full English, with some avocado as an extra.

I need to congratulate Baxter’s The staff were as always super friendly , efficient and smiles The food my Husbund had the all day breakfast was great , I had the BLT , I love a BLT sandwich and honestly I have never had better the bread fresh the bacon superb perfect side salad balsamic dressing tasty and to finish crisps mega honestly superb well done everyone ☺️ Thank you Val

Really lovely barrista with a good lunch menu that caters to vegan/vegetarians as well as meat eaters. I had the Halloumi and vegetables sandwich meal with a cappuccino. Very nice. The staff are very welcoming and courteous. Has a peaceful atmosphere, newspapers and magazines to read, colouring activity sheets for kids.

Great place to grab a coffee and do a little work whilst waiting for a bus. Nice to see it's dog friendly and I'll be back, maybe with the office hound!

Absolutely delicious the breakfast was such good quality

Went here for lunch on the back of good reviews but we didn’t feel the same. We ordered two avocado on sourdough, one with a poached egg, & a jacket potato with cheese and pulled pork (£7 extra for these 2 toppings, so £11.35 for a spud!! ) With a cup of tea, small cappuccino and small Coke the bill came to £38.65 was steep. Unfortunately the food wasn’t great. The sourdough toast was rock hard and whilst there was quite a bit of (v cold) avocado, the poached egg on top was cooked hard too. Won’t return as the vfm was non existent unfortunately.

I had a fantastic visit here, as somewhere to pause with a coffee and do some admin work! Perfect little spot to quietly work, with plug sockets and free, speedy guest WiFi. Can’t recommend highly enough - staff were friendly and helpful, plus made an outstanding cup of coffee.

Ordered a coffee and a salmon sandwich! It was beautiful! Well worth the money as its not just a simple sandwich! Will be ordering again 100% ✨

Good coffee, not so good service. I ordered for eating in, and when I was offered the receipt I said no (paperless). All good here, until I went to use the toilet and the door has a passcode. I went to the counter to ask for it and they were rude, there were 2 women and said it should be in the back of my receipt, then I explained I didn't request one, but they said I automatically should get one. I see no problem if they offer it and if you don't want one, I mean, they gave you the option, but acting rude because you're asking for the code, and you're a paying customer. I don't expect them to remember all the faces, but I was sitting there right in front of them with my coffee.

Mocha is good with free milk alternatives, but is slightly too sweet for me, the flavour of the almond croissant is good, wish it’s more flaky and larger in size.

Lovely place to stop by for a hot drink and a slice of cake. Reasonable price and you get a big mug of tea!

A large lounger’s cafe serving artisan coffee. The interior is imbued with historic Coventry automobile memorabilia.

Very nice pot of tea and a (fairly good) pastry for s good price delivered by a lovely cheerful staff. Comfy seating right inside the amazing coventry transport museum. Paperback book exchange in case you’re tired of doom scrolling.

We ordered a business lunch for a training day we had arranged. It was our first time using Baxter Baristas and we had some brilliant feedback on the variety and quality of the food we received! The delivery was on time and friendly. We will not hesitate to order for further business catering in the future!

I was served a spit of Espresso for £2.50, and the barista just said that's what the machine is configured to. So not only the barista doesn't have a clue of what an espresso looks like but also they're stealing by under pouring the espresso by 1/3. That's illegal. Also very slow service, we had our drinks when we nearly finished our food, 20+ minutes after the order. The tomato salsa was acidic, the cake was good.

I’ve always wanted to try Eggs Benedict and this didn’t disappoint; the egg was so soft and the texture was awesome; I’ve never had an egg cooked like this before. The sauce was nice and it was presented well. Service was quick which was appreciated as I was grabbing a late breakfast on the way to a meeting! Ready in 5 mins! Nicely decorated inside; with a relaxed vibe. Friendly lady who took my order. Price is fair for the quality of food and service. I did expect it to be made with a muffin but the sourdough bread was better. Edit: added more photos of recent visits.

Horrible and expensive tuna panini. A new older woman works in there . She has so much attitude. Hate seeing someone serving food with hatred. Also, previously, I got poisoned by food. I made a big mistake going there again today.Horrible and expensive place.

Fabulous gem of a find, food is delicious & staff are lovely. Would highly recommend popping in to see what you are missing. It's child and dog friendly too which is an added bonus.

This cafe doesn't live up to its website ..... we spent 50 mins here waiting for a simple order of sandwich with hot drink.... Understaffed and dark atmosphere probably due to the front windows being obscured of natural light with poster paint splodged all over, promoting the name Baxter's- resembling something like the entrance to a primary school. Staff are limited trying to do a variety of tasks so doesn't deliver, as customer service is impacted. This cafe thrives, due to be located within the busy hub of the Transport Museum. Avoid- spend your hard earned cash elsewhere and would I suggest a better service and ambience with much better views can be found five mins walk past Baxter's to The Belgrade Theatre Cafe or ten mins into the town to try The Leaf and Bean where service is super quick!

One of the best coffees in Coventry! The staff is always super friendly and they know many of their customers in addition to their orders. Remembering details like this makes the experience that much better.

If you want to hire a bar with a friendly team who offer amazing by service, then get in touch and book Baxter Baristas! We hired their alcohol and drinks bar for our wedding reception. The team went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, from drinks offering to glassware. They also paid attention to the detail such as matching the colour scheme/theme, which we really appreciated. We’ll definitely be hiring the team again!

I frequently use Baxters both for client meetings and socially and I can't rate the place highly enough. The staff are always great and the coffee is to die for. Highly recommend if you you need a great coffee shop. Their off site catering is always a treat as well. Keep up the great work guys :)

Good friendly, quick service, but a bit pricey for drinks & snacks are kiddy portions😭

Love this place and my dog Lexi highly recommends the ginger bread and the puppacino. The atmosphere is so chilled, the staff clearly love dogs here as they always get a fuss from them.

Awful service !!!arrived at 3.50 with my baby , took a seat in an area where other customers were seated… and half the cafe was closed.. for what reason I don’t know.. we’re were told to move first..then to be told we don’t serve food after 4pm .. It’s but it’s 3.52pm? Yes sorry the oven Is off??? What a load of rubbish.. Absolutely appalled with the service and made us feel we were not welcome at all., Would not recommend at all for family and friends!!!

We have order two mocha , firstly it took so long to get ready and they serve us in take away cups which we didn’t ask for.Also we order a piece of chocolate banana cake and it was absolutely horrible and old. The tables were dirty and no one was there to clean it up. There was a lady who was making the coffee and she had very moody face and when she was making the order she didn’t even called up and she was only left the orders on counter. Shame and never gonna go back here

Ordered afernoon tea for 2 for my brother and his wife. Delivery ontime before afternoon. Presented beautifully with fruit and salad. Said it was plentiful and delicious. Also freshly prepared. Would recommend. Thankyou

No way to review food when WRONG FOOD was in the bag. Correct label & receipt on sealed bag, wrong food inside. This one is Baxter fault, not Just Eats.

Stood at the counter, wasn't acknowledged, eventually someone smiled and took my order, ordered 2 new yorkers, they where toasted on one side which was weird. Sat n saw lots of other ppl stand around also waiting to be served like I'd stood ignored. Order no. A-49266. 11.58. Order arrived 12.17. Having asked for cold sandwiches, Didn't expect it to be toasted tbh, but having toasted it u feel it should have been toasted both sides. Tasted good.

Liked the portions and taste of food, the atmosphere, and how it's not to crowded nor too empty, the family loved it. I'll probably go back again.

Toasted mushroom sandwich not enough mushrooms, nice bread, stale crisps. Full English nice but not sure what had happened to the sausage which was dry and cardboard like. Drinks average

I regularly use Baxters and its an excellent cafe that caters for all. Excellent service and food and drink quality is very very good. Can thoroughly recommend.

Barista on duty ignoring customers waiting to order had to ask for some service Cappuccino virtually cold no please or thank you from barista whilst serving customer service training needs updating with staff as is non existent at moment as someone that works for a nation wide coffee outlet I know how service should be delivered and this is definitely not it owner should be ashamed of himself

Jacket patatoe was cold hard and very lumpy like it's been left out all night and I paid £8 plus for it

We visited twice whilst visiting the transport museum. First visit was flawless, no issues. Second visit for lunch didn't go so well. Ordered a pot of tea and got a mug, so no refill. Went to the counter to query, and was ignored. Food came, and the jacket potatoes were luke warm at best. We'll get lunch elsewhere, next time we visit the transport museum.

Haven't been in this cafe since it was Esquire's. Had to wait a while to be served while till person sorted previous few customers orders out in the queue before me. I had a brownie and a ginger beer when meeting up with sketch Coventry group.

Cycled here from Ipswich to buy Coventry Godcakes. Also had an excellent full English and Stacey was very welcoming (even letting me put my bike in a safe place). Situated next to the transport museum this seemed an oasis in central Coventry. The multiple usb charging points were also a good facility.

Had a lovely afternoon tea delivered courtesy of my cousin. The sandwiches were beautiful very fresh and the scones and cakes were delicious 😋

Good service, prices OK, drinks could have been better. I had a white chocolate mocha, which was quite bitter. Husband had a flat white coffee and only drank half of it (very small cup) saying it wasn't very nice.

Never noticed this place until a few weeks ago, I think I’ve been missing out. Calm and relaxing space near the museum with a lot of natural light and cozy seating. Wonderful food and strong coffee, very pleasant staff as well, and reasonably priced.

We popped in here before visiting the transport museum. Had a Flat white and a hot chocolate. Coffee was pretty tasteless and the drinks were very small and expensive. Probably wouldnt come here again.

We recently held an event for 170 and Baxter Baristas we're amazing from start to finish. The service and food was top quality and at a reasonable price. We will use again.

Visited last weekend and had a terrible experience from start to finish. The first issue was a long hair found in my partner’s milkshake. Then the food came out - my partner had ordered scrambled eggs on toast (as described on the menu) but they brought out a scrambled egg sandwich and simply said “that’s what we do now” when I questioned it. The final nail in the coffin was ANOTHER hair found in my full English breakfast. At this point I asked for a refund which they did give, but as we were leaving they offered no apology and were sniggering to each other as we walked out of the door. So 3 mistakes were made and all they could do was laugh. Would not return there if you paid me. It’s also not a cheap coffee house, so the service really was well below expectation.

Came here at around 4.30pm, the staffs are so rude. They do not want to make anything and when I would like to order a smoothie, they said they don’t have it. Couldn’t believe it, if you don’t want to serve customers, just close the door plz

This was one of the first cafes I visited when I came into the UK a year ago. Fast forward a week ago I visited them again, was good to see the same level of service and the friendly staff. Quick service even when the place was a bit crowded and the food was also great for the price point. The vibe of the place is also great to just sit and work or have a chat with friends. Overall a good experience.

Went in here with my fiancé for lunch today before going into the transport museum, lovely atmosphere & friendly staff the food was fresh I would highly recommend here we will definitely be coming here again.
