Buonissimo Delicatessen in Bradford

Popped in for a quick takeaway panini. Staff were happy to adjust some of their options for my fussy needs! The paninis were cooked really quickly and they were a great size, and really delicious! Will be back :)

As a regular customer, I was appauled at the frosty reception we recieved by the 2 owners. They made our visit unpleasent and total unnecessary restrictions ( not putting a newspaper on the table) were enforced in such a bombastic way. Aren't the tables going to be clean down after we leave so is a newspaper such a problem?I will not be frequenting the cafe again until their attitude to their customers change.

I’m really happy to see this place open again. I called in this morning to pick up some deli bits and I’m always amazed at the quality and authenticity of their produce, excellent Italian cheeses as well as tomatoes, breads, tinned goods, etc. I had a cheeky espresso whilst I was there and it was delicious, I was also salivating over the cannoli!

Feeling hungry , I pulled over & was drawn to the "Taste of Italy" sign. I ordered the Caprese sandwich & coffee, it being a simple but classic Italian sandwich. I can say that my first bite was a wonderful Proustian moment. I was instantly transported to the Italian countryside... great food & coffee. I highly recommend a visit

Buonissimo serves the best coffee to be found in Saltaire in my opinion. The service is always friendly. The deli counter has a good variety of delicious food.

We popped for a light lunch of soup & 'crusty bread', and a ciabatta.The soup was overheated and thin. When cooler it had a very strange taste - not good. Bread was soft and 'pappy' we ate niether, the ciabatta lacked flavour and texture tho was edible.To add insult to injury the waitress chose to obfuscate rather than apologise. The proprietor still wanted to charge us for uneaten food - again no apology and off-hand.Wouldn't go again.

Called in today for coffee, as our usual haunt was closed, we live locally, and have never been in before, what a shame!!!! The coffee, is what you would expect, and some of the cakes, were a little bewildering, but the staff took time to explain what things were, and advised on our choices. Thoroughly enjoyed everything we had, and will definitely be back for more.

We love this deli/cafe. The food is delicious. As we live locally we have visited often over the past year. The atmosphere is relaxed,friendly & efficient. I have bought cheese & meats to take home the breads & pastries are excellent. All in all tip top.

My daughter and I called in for luch and were spoilt for choice, we decided to eat healthily and both opted for a small salad. I'm glad we didn't opt for large salads as they were very plentiful and filling, I had the tuna mayo and my daughter had the chicken ceasar and a small dish of dressing in a separate dish (a nice touch). There is plenty of choice of beverages and cakes but we declined cakes on this visit. There are lots of places to eat in, in the area but I'm glad we chose to eat here!

Snacks, sandwiches and light meals all made from the food items sold at the deli end of the small shop/cafe. Freshly prepared, reasonable prices and great coffee. Recommended.

Met with friends for lunch on their recommendations and it was a good one. A great selection of sandwiches, salads & pasta at reasonable prices. Great deli for fresh breads, cheeses, etc. The best place to visit if in Saltare - and it opens at 8.30am, unlike others on the row.

Ideal for coffee, lunch and purchasing a wide range of cheeses and meats. Always a welcome smile from the owners

I visited here with my Mam and sat outside as we had our dogs too. The cake selection was good, I had carrot cake and Mam had orange and lemon cake. Both were delicious also had a coffee and tea. Worth the visit.

We have been here many times and the service and quality of the food are always very good, The menu is limited but that, given the space the guys have to work in is a good thing. Homemade lasagne is really good and the pasta dishes made to order have just the right balance of pasta to sauce. Panini are also made to order and are really tasty.

Great cappuccino at a fantastic price too! Warm and welcoming inside will definitely return. The chaps are really friendly and they have a good selection of homemade cakes

This visit was just for coffee and cakes. Lovely authentic Italian cakes. Very yummy. Staff always so friendly. Previously has lunches here which have also been very good. Lovely friendly place to visit.

This was an amazing experience for me and my mum! The food was presented beautifully and staff were so kind. The food was delicious and came super quick... inside the cafe, you suddenly feel like your in Italy. The air feels super friendly and would definitely recommend it!!!!

Called in for lunch with some friends. All ordered different things and everyone happy with what they got. Very friendly service without being over bearing. Clearly a lot of customers were known to the staff so clearly many people are regulars.

Lovely coffee shop and delicatessen. Wide selection of hot and cold paninis, sandwiches, cakes and more. The owners are friendly and obliging. Very nice seating area upstairs. My only grouse is tea is a teabag served in a cup of hot water. I would much prefer a teapot. Toilets are upstairs so need to be able to negotiate steps.

Lovely sandwiches made exactly as you want, delicious coffee and tempting cakes and pastries, all at reasonable prices served with a smile. What more can you ask for? Will certainly be back next time I am in the vicinity.

Un Salto a almorzar en un día húmedo de primavera y estaba encantado de encontrar un precioso Deli sirve excelente café y un plato muy sabroso deli! Terminamos con algunos pasteles! Sin duda, recomiendo una visita!

Me apareció en mi hora del almuerzo para conseguir algo de comer, tenía un plato de pasta y estaba delicioso. Fue penne con salsa de tomate, verduras asadas mediterránea, chili, y rocket. Era precioso y muy sabroso.

Great place,attention to detail excellent,coffee,cakes,sandwiches,deli counter all very good quality. They look after everybody with such professionalism. They even look after alfresco dogs & their walkers too...thank you. ..Highly recommended.

Called in on a wet day in search of celebratory tea and cakes and found a genuine little Italian deli/cafe. I had an excellent chicken, brie and cranberry panino, and my newly qualified bus driver lady had some lovely italian pastries. The food was good, the prices fair and the service friendly. Give it a go!

I've started dropping into this little cafe and deli frequently. Seriously good coffee, very good cakes and sandwiches and nice, friendly service. I often buy food at the deli too. It's always fresh and miles better quality than you would get at a supermarket.

Really good coffee with max flavour and delicious cakes - what's not too love? Excellent sandwiches too if more peckish. Also a good selection of cheese, Italian meats and bread from the deli.

We call here twice a week if we can as we travel between kendal and Leeds on the Skipton Rd. Friendly staff, prompt service, delicious food , Italian sandwiches so fresh, yummy cakes, proper coffee not all Froth!!! Good value for money _ always spic and span _ much better all round than the big chains. Thankyou

Well I have to say that after running my own Cafe for 12 years I know first hand what it takes to make a business succeed. These two guys Sergio and Cos (the chef) are good at what they do. All there food is done to an excellent standard and is consistent. You know what you're going to get. All fresh food and Homemade cakes combined with fresh coffee make this little Italian Deli a MUST visit. Well done to you both and Saturdays are good with the help of Katie your waitress.

Nice chill out place,service excellent, but the end of experience left at lot to be desired. When I asked for the bill the very nice waitress said I had to pay at the bar.I was then asked to pay for stuff I hadn't had.suggest they let waitresses sort bills out ,very amateur.

Our second visit. Excellent food - all authentic, fresh and well- presented - with good, friendly service and at great prices. A little sleeper, this place. Forget the hype of busy, noisy Salt's Mill and head for a real taste of Italy

My wife and I visited this cafe for the first time and on this experience we will be returning soon. We both ordered mushroom soup, very tasty and piping hot. My wife had a prawn sandwich. There was so much filling she could have used a knife and fork. My hot panini was generously filled. All supplemented with a lovely tea and latte. Excellent we will be back even though we do not live locally.

Called in for light lunch today whilst visiting Saltaire.Very clean and inviting.We enjoyed Panninis~ very tasty and yummy. Shared the most delicious lemon cheesecake. Everything very well priced. Two guys very friendly and efficient. All in all a most enjoyable experience, a good find.Will certainly go again.

Hubby & I had seafood salad & lasagne, lovely cappuccino ( 1.95) very reasonable & homemade .Great deli with lots of interesting items

I have eaten here on many occasions & tried a few different paninis....all very tasty & always freshly prepared, my other half swears by the pasta! Owners are so friendly and helpful and will go out of their way to make sure you are happy.Never been disappointed with a meal. Well worth a visit.

We popped in here today for a tuna and cheese Panini and a cold drink. The two guys that run this deli are very friendly. It was 12.00 and was very busy and all the tables started filling up. Also there is an upstairs as well. There are plenty of places to eat on this main stretch of road but can highly recommend eating here. Food and service was very good and not too expensive. Will be back again very soon Thank you.

The service from the two owners us warm, old school and very welcoming.A traditional Italian Deli with a good selection of antipasto, cakes and puddings, great coffee, beautiful breads.Ideal for lazy Saturday mornings.

I hesitate to give such a high rating to a small deli and café run by two very hard-working guys, but this place is really getting a good reputation in Shipley. They cook to order, with a limited list of daily choices, but are always willing to vary the offering on request. No licence, but you can bring your own booze, and they have lovely coffee and Italian soft drinks. It also operates as a deli, and has a good range of Italian salamis and cheeses, along with some truly interesting cakes and puds. You can take out pre-prepped lasagne and other goodies if you want to. They will cook pastas to your request if they have enough - get there early for lunch if you want to do this. Good sandwiches, paninis, and the platters of cheese and salami are excellently kept and very generous. Lots of people now order sandwiches for lunch, so it can get busy between twelve and one, but your patience will be rewarded. Limited choice but excellent quality and knowledgeable service. Going here for lunch a lot! When I ticked the 'best meal' box, obviously this is not high gastronomy, but it is very good for what it is, and everything tastes homemade - in a good way. There are a lot of crappy Italian cafes out there - this is not one of them. I hope they prosper.

This place has only been open for a year and seems to still be learning what works and what doesn't and tapping into new opportunities. I really like it and the guys who own it. Really lovely doughnuts and nice pasta/Italian food collections to buy and take home. I hope they keep adding to the selection and keep improving :-)

I came across this place quite by accident - however, I am so pleased that I did.The two owners are very accommodating to your requests, and very attentive. There was a large selection of Deli foods to take away, and also to eat in. The cakes are all homemade - the Capresse Cake is AMAZING. They also have a selection of wonderful breads - Foccacia, Ciabate, Cheeses, Salami's, Pasta etc.Ideal place to pop in and have a great quality lunch/brunch or even just a great tasting coffee and a cake. I have become a regular here now, and often buy my breads and cakes from here to take home. It really is a wonderful find, and I am sure you would not be disappointed.The main road that it is on can be very busy, but it is easy enough to park either on the roadside if there is room, or across from the Deli in a Pay & Display car park.Highly recommended

Fabulous location, attractive place, well decorated and very inviting. Would definitely recommend a mortadella and provolone pannini in Italian bread followed by an espresso.......try to park away or on a side road busy road, parking difficult

stopped here just so my wife could have a look at a dress in a shop we saw as we were waiting in a traffic jam, so of course I saw this cafe and in we went for a coffee, it was very clean the coffee was excellent, the owner who served us was very considerate and very attentive to detail, my wife had a piece of cake, don't ask me what it was, but my wife says it was delicious, when we asked about it he said they made it, and that it was all hand made, so if you are in Saltaire, make a beeline for this cafe and have a sample of the cake, they also sell the coffee to take home, I haven't tried it yet but will let you know whats it like later
