Buon Cibo in Stockport

Wrong food delivered. Restaurant refused to take responsibility, were dismissive and told me to contact Just Eat. We all make mistakes but the attitude sucked. No apology

A warm and friendly welcome. Great food and service. All reasonably priced with good range of dishes. The portion sizes were great - my Dad especially enjoyed his steak.

Wonderful restaurant with some of the best food I've had in Manchester in many years. Very good value and I highly recommend the steak and lasagne. Naz was incredibly attentive and helpful. I can't wait to come back. It's such a hidden gem.

A little gem in Heaton Moor! Our usual Italian was unavailable so tried this place. We very much enjoyed the food, the ambiance and the attentive staff. We will definitely return, thank you!

Four of us went to 'try out' a restaurant found by our grandson. On a Tuesday evening early on - no-one else in... Have to say that every course ordered by all four of us was superb. Our server also was a very approachable and pleasantly disposed gentleman and he easily engaged in some gentle banter with us. Comfortable restaurant, obviously having engaged an excellent chef who readily accommodated a vegetarian in our carnivorous midst.

First time at Buon Cibo (Good Food); great food! A very enjoyable evening at their Heaton Moor *Shaw Rd) branch. Excellent choice, delicious food, attentative staff and dair prices. Ask for a deconstructed Affogato, yummy!

Lovely food, ok atmosphere. Manager is overbearing. We were kicked out at 10pm on a friday night, our glasses were still full. They should stick to takeaways/deliveries.

Everything here is 5/5… Best around, personal fav is the ribs. But for delivery you won’t get anything better. Everything is fresh

We are regular customers and very happy with the quality of food. However recently the delivery time is exceeding that communicated and expected. Even when we have rang to check the status we have been advised the order is ‘on its way’ yet despite living 5 minutes away we still have to chase 30 minutes later. Disappointing as this could be a great take away but due to bad customer service we will not be using Boun Cibo anymore.

Normally love this takeaway , however this time the lasagne was dry as a bone and stuck to the sides and bottom. I phoned them to explain and was told to just eat it it out of the tray as that’s how it comes, Extremely disappointed 😔

Tried something different thought we’d give it a go. Pizza was brilliant only thing to add with the pizza is that it would be nice to have a choice of sizes. Something to avoid is the chef special called the Vulcano awful flavour and seemed to be a strange slightly spiced tomato sauce.the barbecue dishes on the menu are good value and was as expected so it was an ok meal. Something we found strange was the speed the food was ready in, within 10 mins after ordering 4 mains and 3 starters were ready. Something which was concerning as most of the food was cold.

Have just finished the chicken fajitas and they were delicious. Served fresh with a beautiful grilled taste. Lots of peppers and onions and plenty of guacamole, sour cream and salsa. Well presented and great value for money.

Really disappointed, I am a regular and last time I placed an order it was missing 3 items, one being the rice to go with my stroganoff. I rang and spoke to the manager who offered to deliver the items but as we are out of their delivery area and they were extremely busy I told them not to worry but could they give the items for free on my next order to which he thanked me and stated no problem just advise the manager had agreed it. Rang this evening to place my order whilst I was on the way to them to be advised they couldn’t approve the free items as the manager was not there and I would need to ring tomorrow?? After spending over 15 minutes on the phone I ended the call as I had arrived at the shop. The gentleman advised he knew I was a regular but couldn’t authorise it, I advised I was only looking for 2 of the items for free and felt like they were calling me a liar to which I was advised again they needed to speak to the manager as there was nothing documented. I placed my order and paid for it in full. The gentleman then, 30 minutes after my initial request said I’ve phoned him and he has confirmed you can have them to which I advised him I had already paid, he just walked off, no apology! Such a shame as the good is delicious

Very poor on this occasion. I found a black hair in my Lasagne and the food was barely warm. No email address to air my concerns.

Fabulous food always when you get all Your order !!!! Shame always having to ring them up as they always forget to put the full order together !!!!!! Why can’t you sort a simple thing !!!

Ordered at 5-50 , said 50 mins . Arrived after 1 hour and 40 mins stone cold. Worst take away experience ever. Never again!!!

Food is as good as a restaurant and worth a try, if you don’t want to go out to an Italian but want a different take away then you should try here! Red wine selection beats some restaurants in the area!! More than a take away but cheaper than eating out and just as good!!

First try today. Portions are a bit too big really, but not big enough for 2. Still, the price for the quality, quantity and presentation is spot on. And it’s really really nice, fresh not over cooked, certainly not reheated, so maybe lucky first try?? who knows as some reviews have said they didn’t get what they ordered. I did and it’s delicious!

This is the second time they have got out order wrong which is so annoying I ordered mushroom stroganoff with rice and lasagne I repeated the order three times following similar experience when they got the order wrong As the food is good we thought we would give them a second chance When I went to pick it up they told me what was in the bag When I got home it was beef stroganoff !!!!!!!! I am a vegetarian Once again they got it wrong My advice is you employ better staff taking the orders not Kids !!!!!

Delivery was really quick, that much I didn't have my money out ready when he knocked! Food was really tasty and delivered hot!The only reason I have given only 4 stars is it is a tad expensive! £20 for one pizza, pasta dish and bottle of coke! Didn't waste any which is good but not something I could order all the time which is a shame!

Arguably the best take away food I've ever had. We all ordered pasta meals with garlic pizza breads. They even had my lad's hard to find favourite pop.

This place has been recommended to us. Our first order was for the chicken and steak grill x 2. When it arrived it was ribs x 2. Sooo dissapointed, to ring up and re-order would have taken forever as we were starving. My partner loved it unfortunately I don't do ribs.

Had a takeaway from here with family. We had the beef stroganoff, pizza and King prawn linguine. Both dishes were full of flavour and really tasty. The pizza was thin and crispy - just how we like it and also delicious (as verified by kids). Would recommend

Love this place The food is amazing for a takeaway and is of restaurant standard The service is a little poor when ordering as it is staffed by very young people who do not always listen but the food makes up for it !!!!! Once or twice they have forgotten to put the order together properly and we have to go back There is no offer of an apology or extra dish or vouchers which we think is very very poor !!! Like I said young people who are not bothered !!!!!!

Ordered two of the steak and chicken bbq meal,and garlic bread.

We have used them now several times and the food is Delicious and really nicely presented and packaged

Not cheap, but good. Portions were a decent size. Everything seem to be freshly cooked. A good addition to the area.

Ordered on the app for delivery. Easy to order and delivered on time.

Amazing take away we have tried many items off menu all have been great good portion sizes and all freshly prepared as good as a 'proper'restaurant meal.

Ordered delivery. Bbq ribs and chicken, had to Google it to see if it was a takeaway and not a full on proper restaurant. 5 stars for everything, quality, presentation, portion size the lot.

Ordered for my partner and myself and must say the lasagne was to die for! Very cheesy but I love that sauce was perfect not to dry! He even said it was better then what I make so that’s a compliment! Pizza was nice And chips were amazing had a salt seasoning on lovely!! Also must say presentation shame the pizza box didn’t match the lasagne but still! Thanks

Takeaway last night here on impulse...oh my god I will be back!! Had a steak dish and a prawn pasta dish, great quality of ingredients and absolutely delicious
