Bun & Base in Doncaster

It’s one of my favourite places in Doncaster or even the World!! Burgers are awesome and Pizzas and are also very good. I have only given 4 stars for Atmosphere, because it is in a Petrol Station! Not a romantic meal, but an awesome meal none the less.

Amazing food everytime! Chicken salad is beaut ordered everytime even tho it’s just salad! Gutted tho food was only just warm last 2 times ordered. Still amazing though

Wow... what a disappointment...we have been eating a Bun and Base for a long time, however we went today to order after having a long break without. Could not belive how much it dropped with the quality and size of it. My chicken burger was the size of Chicken Mayo at Mc... the special beef burger was smaller than the burger in saver menu, chips got worsen as well. We loved the Bun and Base as it was unique, other than any other takeaway. Great portions and its freshness... Unfortunately, we will not be coming back unless I hear that managemt recovered within its quality

fries was cold so were the other food had to reheat in my microwave

Every time I go back to bun and base it gets better!! And everyone I've taken are blown away proper best burger within 30 miles near me. Best value out of all the places I've been to and I've been to hundreds of places all over the UK. Highley recommended... 10 out of 10

was lovely, would have been better if I had my fries for my garlic mayo

the burger was perfection. literally the best burger of my life. Chicken wings however was very salty and for 'mild' piri flavour was still very spicy and i didn't enjoy them. the chips were just chips, nothing special. would have gotten a higher rating if it wasn't for the wings.

Delivery driver was rude and insulting which makes me question if i would order again from this certain restaurant

Chicken burger has not been good for the last few times I have ordered. Too dry & overcooked peri peri chicken. Today I had the chicken burger and I have experience some really bad tummy cramps ! I am sure it’s the chicken what caused it. It’s a shame but I don’t think I will order again. Sorry normally don’t leave a negative review but this was my experience.

Didn't want mushrooms or tomato and asked for extra beans instead as I don't like my breakfast dry. It came without beans but they did send an extremely small pot of beans that only lasted for half a slice of toast and then the rest of my breakfast was dry. The eggs looked like they'd been cooked by car tyres on a motorway, I had difficulty distinguishing were the yolk actually was. And I was not impressed that the sausages on my ENGLISH breakfast tasted spicy like Indian takeaway. Weird bacon.

Best food/take out ive had in a while, will definitely be ordering again, the burger was beautiful and juice, pizza was spot on

Bread bun was harder than usyk's jaw waste of money. Do not start cooking food before you know the driver is going to be delivering it.

Missing item refused to sorted and admitted to knowing it was missing sed they was two busy

Chicken was pink..I would not feed it my dog never mind my children..refused a refund or to send any more food out..stay away from this place

Absolutely disappointed! I ordered half chicken and the New York burger! The chicken was tiny it wouldn’t even fill a 3 year old child! The burger was a disgrace! The beef patties was burnt and crispy and the fried chicken in the burger was so over cooked it just crumbled to bits!

Delivery has always been quick, and the food is always hot and delicious.

Amazing food and speedy service

Every time I order from them the food is very hot. This time it was very cold I had to reheat it in the microwave. We should not have to reheat food that is getting delivered less than a mile away

ordered a special buger to get a cold double cheeseburger no peppers,onions ect (which you put more for). also ordered butterfly chicken for 2, small portion also cold and awful rice. 1st time ordering here, won't be returning

Piece of toast was thrown on top of breakfast bread was all soggy . Burger was also soggy. First and last time ordering

Terrible customer service and super lazy staff. Advertised opening hours from 11am to 21:30. Got there at 21:15 waited 5 mins to actually be greeted by someone who then was ready to take my order until he looked at his screen ( to check the time [21:23 give or take] ) and stuttered a complete lie saying they were closed since 21:15. I understand its close to the end of his shift but that was sheer laziness. Dont deserve a penny out of me personally.

My order was in complete had to go and fetch my pizza from the shop leaving my other food to get cold at home

Cold food and took ages to arrive

Good soft bun, meat was dry and overcooked. There was almost no sauce on the burger either, had to put my own. Fries well overdone and too crispy.

I ordered a pizza as well in my order, the delivery driver left it at the shop, bun and base asked me to come and pick it up my self which was not possible for me. So it was a poor service and I want my refund or pizza being delivered to me.

First time using bun and base and definitely won’t be the last had the butterfly chicken and for the price got lot more than expected and tasted delicious the missus had a pizza and was spot on why have I not got food from here before everything was perfect

I've had quite a few burgers from different restaurants on justeat, and I can honestly say this is by far the best burger I have had from here. I had the quadzilla with curly fries. The quality of meat was absolutely amazing and tasted fantastic. I really like the texture of the fries as well. Whenever I fancy a burger I will always come back to bun & base ❤️

Wow , wow. In a petrol station? Simply the best burger ever. What have I just had. The burger just melted in my mouth. I had a quadzilla topped with all the usual pickles tomatoes onions and burger sauce, but this was the goat. Service took 7 minutes as it was cooked to order and the staff was very polite. I've never heard of this company before, so I had to Google them only to find them only 2 in the country. People of Doncaster support this small business, you won't be disappointed. Unreal burger.

Went here as google states Halal. When inside cannot see any Halal sign so questioned the staff. They showed me a menu that has HMC sign on and he pointed to that. I asked where his certificate was or to prove he is actually HMC certified which he couldn't answer so I left. CONFIRM FOR YOURSELF IF HALAL.

Good value for money and a nice selection of food. Would be better if the fries portion was better (like urban burger) but other than that, I would recommend.
