Bukharaa Indian Street Food in Stockport

It’s a while since we ate at the restaurant so we visited with friends on a Friday evening. By 7.30pm the place was nearly full which shows how good the food is. Staff are friendly and helpful. If you want flavoursome food with a difference this is the place to go. Prices are reasonable too. Try the Railway Lamb. Excellent.

We tried the Indian breakfast on a Sunday morning: absolutely fabulous food and really good value for money. Lots of dishes that you don't see at other Indian restaurants. Service was excellent also. Will definitely be going back again

Lovely atmosphere, delicious food, generous portions and really helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommend.we went for my birthday and they brought out a special birthday dessert.

Gone off curry food recently as they got very boring and nothing special, so gave it a miss until .. First time at the Bukharaa and certainly wont be the last. Really nice food with an element of originality combined with friendly staff makes it highly recommended and a must to visit. Keep up the originality and authenticity 10/10.

We visited the restaurant as two couples. We got the train over yo Romiley from New Mills in the High Peak. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a warm and friendly reception. The restaurant was quite busy and there was a great vibe. We all had different meals and both the food and service were outstanding..! We had a tour of the kitchen and were introduced to the lovely kitchen staff. The biggest bonus was being told they are planning on opening a restaurant in New Mills next year. This will be a huge asset to the area and we'll be regular customers. I can only say if you've been thinking of going to eat here, stop thinking and just do it..!

Well what can I say we 1st visited the 1st week opened hand on heart I was not impressed missed the old Italian but 2nd visit WOW what an amazing night from the moment we walked in it felt homely and the food was amazing the service was outstanding and the apple cinnamon samosas as a dessert blew my mind We all had different dishes and we were all really pleased the chef was front of house making sure everyone was happy with there orders at the end of the night KLF had a tour of the kitchen and introduced to all staff members what a lovely touch and yes we will be back repeatedly please try this is a must for you to experience 👍

Came with some work friends and had a lovely meal. Great service and food. The atmosphere was lovely and it was busy which was nice to see. Would definitely recommend and will return. Going to try the special deal night next time during the week Thank you

Midweek menu. Substantial savings ! Superb meal 15 year wedding anniversary. Great service friendly staff. It tasted how I think real Indian food should taste. The lamb chops were particularly superb. We absolutely loved it. This is our new go to for authentic Indian food. They also do takeaways of which I can't wait to order. Great experience

What a fantastic find near to home. A menu full of interesting starters. The pani puri came on a cart and was light and refreshing. We ordered the lamb chops, chilli ravens and chicken wings to accompany. The sauce on the prawns had so many tastes, the chicken wings so succulent. This was followed by railway lamb curry which is a must try! Chicken Karahi made with bell peppers - flavour at its best. The chilli garlic naan so light and the perfect accompaniment. Finally we shared a chocolate samosa just because we were intrigued. So delicate and light and full of chocolate. What a treat. All this with amazing service in a very busy restaurant full of atmosphere. We will definitely be back. Thanks for such a warm welcome and some of the best Indian food eaten. I would go as far to say this is better than mowglis!

Absolutely delightful food with varied menu and excellent service throughout. Can’t wait to return.

Without question THE best Indian food we've ever had, my husband isn't a huge fan on Indian food and even he was raving about it, I cannot wait to go back here, so fresh, tasty, reasonably priced and great service, please don't ever move, xxx

Fabulous authentic Indian restaurant. Great menu with original and special signature dishes. Quality of food excellent and plentiful. Service excellent. Highly recommend

We have had many takeaways now and every one has been delicious. The chicken bhuna is gorgeous. Very friendly staff. Cannot wait to visit the restaurant. The is definitely the best I’ve had from anywhere.

I order occasional takeaways from here and on collecting last time the manager mentioned they can handle special orders. So this time I asked them to make me a Rarah Murgh - a chicken dish that you never see in cheap curry places but one of my favourites. Collected it and took it home and it was possibly the best curry I have ever had. The other stuff we ordered - my wife always orders vegetarian - was excellent as well.

Lovely food, great service and very reasonably priced. We went on a Wednesday evening which has discounted prices ( lucky for us) . The restaurant was pleasantly busy and food was excellent. We will definitely visit again next time we’re in Romiley

We visited without a booking and the food, service and experience were excellent. We both enjoyed starters and mains that were delicious and authentic. With a small taster before the main to see if you want to add more spice or change your order you can be configured to try new things.

Lovely restaurant interior and food tasted great. Went for the Tuesday 2 course deal with my friend and we both really enjoyed our choices. The paneer tikka and mushroom rice was especially delicious. Great value for money too. The staff were helpful and a nice atmosphere.
