Overall, my time at Aylesbury college studying ICT was good. The program covered essential aspects well, and the faculty was supportive. Recommended for those seeking a foundation ICT education.

As someone who has been a student here for 3 years , i would say this college has been a massive help of getting me this far in my life , i have been through soo much and i had lots of support with my decisions and i hope they continue supporting in my final year . I would say now that i am in my final year and my teachers have changed , its been an stressful time for me and i love the help i get from student services This college has been my home for three years after coming from secondary school , i been in the art and design and graphic design at college as an creative student , they really help you embrace your creative spirit and help you get better at things you think you are not good at , i am in extended graphic design Dipolma and i feel like my time at this college has been great , i have support and friends and made so many connections The one thing i would say about this college is that they do switch teachers a lot but in my course it only happened in the end of last year and i achieved an merit for my FMP , i feel like with a bit more support .I could have achieved much higher with the teachers expectations but he felt like i was not good enough but i feel like the teachers should be more supportive and not telling their students that they are not going to get good grades because i did get a good grade when he thought i was going to get an referral , i think they need to try to push you further and help you gain an creative paths . You have to try your best and you will succeed , and do not give up , i went through soo much and i am glad student services and some of my teachers helped me , there are good teachers at the college , it just takes time to find the right ones . Art and design here was an amazing experience , i love the supportive teachers here and they helped me go through art and design even tho i felt it hard and haven,t done it much of it before , i feel like teachers that show you how to do things even if you are not good at the subject are the best teachers , i wouldn,t have gone in graphic design without the support from my art and design teacher and my other teachers In the college , it matters on which course you done and which teachers you have , you will have a good time in good enviroment you will get far in life with the proper support without it you will get nowwhere

I would not recommend to any human being. Horrible, horrible people putting masks on and pretending to be supportive, the environment just feel miserable and restless they will try to fool and manipulate you into thinking you are doing everything wrong and they are here to help you, on the contrary they’re intentions are to control you. Honestly anybody considering this place - stay away for your own good.

I just had an interview with them for the Aylesbury Campus. So rude and disorganised. I applied so many months ago that when they called me, I had no idea what position they were talking about which I applied for, nonetheless, I gave it a change. The interview email stated to fill out attachments and prepare for a micro teach, they did not even include the attachments (the curriculum manager for Health and Life Sciences, Childcare and Education and Counselling), I had to chase them for lesson plan templates along with other mentioned attachments, in the end I still prepared and did my own lesson plan template. Last minute this curriculum manager gave me the templates, I attended online interview, the curriculum manager was rude and stuck up, I presented the micro teach I prepared for with 2 days notice. (I have dyslexia so need extra time to prepare). After the micro teach session in the interview stage, this same lady who didn't include the attachment tells me 'we only have these days available' - The job I applied for was variable hours, so the lady goes to me how she doesn't want to waste my time continuing the interview ... even though she has already wasted so much of my time. If it's for specific hours with no other 'variable hours' then she needs to state this and let me know in advance. My first name is Jade, I am an ethnic minority, now I am thinking, did she think I was white until the interview when she decided these variable hours aren't variable and instead are set hours? Or is she just really disorganised and unprofessional as a curriculum manager who holds a senior position? Either way, I can see why this institution is rated so low on reviews. ---- In regards to owners response to my feedback, I appreciate the apology but I am yet to receive this feedback email (I received no communication from anyone after the interview) and although these were set hours, to avoid wasting any applicants time, I would suggest advertising the set hours instead of wording it as 'variable hours' as this is just a lie.

Such a poor college. The staff aren't approachable and are very rude. I felt pushed out. They fail to set up placements which is shocking. They cancelled courses with a day or 2 before starting. Aren't empathetic and don’t believe in mental health apparently

I truly am amazed at how anyone ever gets on a course here! Last year (2021) I applied for their Reflexology Diploma. Around two weeks before the course was due to start I received a phone call stating that the course would not be going ahead, due to low numbers. I re-applied in May 2022 for the same course starting this September. Every few weeks I checked in with the college, as I still hadn't received a date for interview and I wanted to know if the course was running, otherwise I would look for an alternative course provider. They assured me that the course was running every time I spoke with them. Around comes September. I suddenly receive an email to go and enrol, no interview required (odd!) So on the Saturday morning I drive the 40 min to Aylesbury, only to be told when I arrive that they don't think the course is running due to low numbers. I literally couldn't believe it at this point! The Tutor that I met was lovely, and seemed "on the ball" - sadly I was mistaken. She asked me to drop her an email and that she would let me know within the next week or two whether the courses numbers had gone up so that it could run. I got home, dropped her my email and reminded her who I was, for her to actually never respond. I sent another email a few days later- nothing. It's now been over 6 weeks since that "enrolment" date, and 4 weeks since I emailed. I then got in touch again with admissions. They assured me my details would be passed onto the tutors and that they would contact me. I heard nothing. The place is an absolute joke! Very, very disappointed. Luckily I have found a wonderful college to complete my training with.

Due to disability I wasn't able to complete my course. They never directed me to student support or told me they have a complaints ombudsmen. Waisted over £1000 on a course because of their disability discrimination. Noone cares. Considering it was a counselling course they don't have any empathy

Terribly managed place, spending 4 years on A 3 year course, to still remain unqualified. Tutors leave half way through years and am told to not bother coming back until new tutor is hired.

Absolutely brilliant place to study. I am studying my first year of level 3 and that too in the covid-19 pandemic. Teacher are making sure everyone is safe and even pushing them to take part in voluntary and much frequent testing to reduce spread of the virus. Generally, a 3 floor building with a lot of coverage on different subjects. Teachers here are quite experienced, like my physiology and science teacher being a retired doctor and a PhD in nutritions. Overall, a well deserved 5 star college which allows you to virtually talk to your future unis in a proper session and to discuss with them.

Good learning institution. Staff at reception has helped in allowing access into the building as well as the elevator. My tutor knows her content and presents it in a way that we grasped and understand concepts. I would recommend the college.

I applied over the phone for a part time adult course in IT, Maths & English. Was given NO information about the courses over the phone but was invited to go into the college at 14:00, I arrived promptly and signed in, was still sat waiting at 14:50 !! Eventually I was taken to a room, given log in details for a computer and told the test would take around 2 hours !! I explained I knew nothing about the online course to then be told it was an evening course 2 nights per week. What an absolute shambles, it’s nerve racking enough as an adult having to walk back into a training campus but to then have conflicting information is poor.

awful place to learn. smells like puke walking in because of the ‘wood cleaner’, had a maths teacher there didn’t even understand and literally teaching me function skill maths when when i asked to move up because i was a mark away from passing but they wouldn’t because i’m classed as ‘disabled’ half the deli staff have no idea what they are doing and there are hardly any sitting areas in the college to eat. my friend goes to this college and most of the teachers single students and have a go at them. what a load of shite.

-emails sent to the wrong students e.g attendance problem letter sent to parents when a person has 97% attendance. ridiculous. -Even if you text or call the reception about absence, they don't pass on the information which affects the student's attendance when it shouldn't. -Horrible and rude teachers as well as the person in career place at college. -prices in the canteen that 80% of the students cannot afford.

Starting College can be a daunting experience. There is lots of information to take in, people to meet and a new building to find your way around in, so Andrei Barbanta, Vice President of ACS, the Aylesbury College Student Union, has put together a list of tips for new students, as well as some things he wished he knew when he joined the College! The College building is huge, so to make it less intimidating why not go for a walk and explore? Have alook at the Fashion studio and Carpentry/Motor Vehicle/Plumbing workshops, it’sinteresting to see what your fellow students are up to and it helps you find your bearings!

My daughter completed the NVQ level 2 beauty therapy course last year and enrolled for the level 3 this year. However, nearly 1 month in they haven't got tutors to run the course and it's been cancelled. My daughter hasn't been able to enrol at another college because they had already completed modules and she would be too far behind. The course should have been cancelled as soon as they knew they hadn't got the tutors to allow the students to enrol at another college. Shame on them!

I was a student at Aylesbury College for 2 years (finishing June 2015). After leaving school with very little qualifications, I found that college would be the best option for me. I cannot praise this college enough for the doors that it has opened for me. Studying at Aylesbury college has given me excellent qualifications, the chance to meet new people and some great memories. I have always received endless support from my tutors and student services. Because of this support, I have now been offered a place at University. Thanks Aylesbury college!!

Why? I am a student at Buckinghamshire UTC (Next to Aylesbury College) and they have not shown to be a good manager in terms of parking. I received a £100 parking fine for simply parking outside my own building's parking and not the Aylesbury College bike parking. They pick and choose when and who to fine and have unreliable staff within the building as well as parking management.

I recently visited Pizza Hut and had an amazing experience! The pizza was delicious, perfectly cooked with a crispy crust and generous toppings. A special shoutout to sidikue, the manager, who provided outstanding service and made sure everything was just right. I’ll definitely be coming back for more! Highly recommend!

Newly refurbished and all the better for it ... used to feel small but now feels much bigger, lighter / brighter and spacious. It's got the 'modern McDonald's feel' about it with automated ordering screens ~ food is just the same old stuff ~ but feels more pleasanter to visit than the old place. UPDATE ~ March 2024 Food was hot, fries seemed pretty fresh, and the staff I interacted with were pleasant and helpful. Seating area was clean, which is a nice bonus. UPDATE November 2024 Food & drink all good today : hot and pretty fresh. Seemed a while waiting, but that's probably because the drive thru was busy. Obviously still a popular place to eat.
