Buckie Farm in Aberdeen City

Had 2 carvery delivered, adults. Absolute waste of money. Missing roast potatoes no pig in blanket and the saddest yorkie I have ever seen also the meat portion would not be enough for a child let alone an adult

Interior and Exterior looked tired.

We called to Buckie Farm after leaving my uncle who had suffered a stroke we had travelled 200 miles to see him and had not eaten for most of the day. As we walked in your barmaid looked at us and walked into the other bar without a word we stood at the bar for 5 minutes and we were just walking away when she reappeared with a friend standing off to the side my partner asked are you still serving carvery she just said yes with a very disgruntled look to us we ordered drinks my partners bacardi and coke was a full glass of coke no asking how much coke. She then gave us 2 tickets without a word we had no idea where to go or what to do she completely blanked us as we walked away her and her friend burst out laughing it made us feel very uncomfortable especially since we had a harrowing day. I would suggest this young lady should not be working in hospitality or needs more training. On a positive note the food was very good and the other staff in the cavery side were lovely two very nice girls who represented your business in a great way

Michelle your service was amazing 10/10. you were kind, friendly and very welcoming. you also were very understanding when it came to my husband and his medical condtion. we need more people like you in hospitality and the world. dont ever change :), we will continue to visit buckie farm when michelle is on shift for breakfast & a catch up.

Went to Buckie farm to celebrate our daughters birthday. Unknown to us you have to register you're car when parking. Had a meal then left. Today we got a parking fine. Beware parking there as it is not clear that you have to register you're car when parking. We certainly will not be going back. Food was not that great.

This used to be the place to go for a great carvery but was most disappointed with what was on offer veg looked like it had been out since lunch all dried out and not very tasty roast beef was so tough couldn't chew it

Went in for breakfast on a Sunday morning. The staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast buffet was great. Value for money too.

I will never go back there. Came here with my newborn and my mum for some lunch and so we could have a wee seat and feed the baby too since we are not locan and had a long journey ahead. Staff was lovely, and we enjoyed our meal. However, we just received a car park fine for £100! We parked the car in their car park and didn't even stay there for a full hour. This is the last time we were having a meal there for sure.

Menu was limited due to shortages (Chicken) and even with fish no tartare sauce! The Pigs in Blankets from the carvery were not burnt but incinerated an couldn't eat them!

Group of 4. Food was lovely, everyone enjoyed it. They only thing that could be worked on is the staff cheering up a little, I was like being at a wake. Not a smile from one of them.

“Let is host you this Easter”……:Should have gone somewhere else! Booked a table for the family to meet up for Easter! Didn’t have some of the courses, didn’t have tartare sauce for fish. The pigs in blankets on the carvery was near incinerated and couldn’t eat it! Won’t be back!

We all had a carvery. My wife my daughter and myself. All meat was full of fat and hardly got any. Only 3 veg on offer. Was at Dyce farm last week and was a far better carvery. For less money. Dyce farm was far superior. We paid £47 for our meal here today and it was terrible. We won't be back 🤬

Normally good for a cheap eat but paid for the works carvery yesterday then got given a plate with only 2 slices of meat from the male chef/carver and told that's all you get. Shame as was starting to come quite regularly.

Been here before and was good. Friendly bar staff but today I went for the works carvery which the bar staff told be was 4 cuts of meat. Went to the carvery area and the male chef asked me what I would like and I asked for 2 turkey and 2 beef slices.. he did one of each and then handed me the plate, I asked for more and was told by him that's all you get and he turned away and left.

We enjoyed our breakfast. Michelle made us very welcome. Food was delicious.

We don't visit too often but on the occasions we do we are always greeted by Michelle with a smile and attentiveness throughout. We both commented that the service level here is above and beyond. Food is good and the price is very reasonable.

Quick stop for a full breakfast, food is good for price and Michelle is always friendly and super helpful.

Lovely place and lovely staff, our waitress Michelle was great, very friendly and knew just what we needed for the kids, attentive and knew everything about the menu, we could not have asked for anything more, the food was fabulous and really hot tasted great

I go to just pick up a take away food order which took at most 20 mins then a while later I am sent a parking fine. No attempt was made by the restaurant to ask me if I had registered my car which I knew nothing about. I think it is utterly disgusting that an establishment like this would attempt to extort money from legitimate customers needless to say me nor anyone I know will return again.

Don’t expect anything plush, but it’s good value for what you get. Staff were pleasant and the food is basic, but good value for money. The carvery and the accompaniments were decent. The decor is a bit run down, but the friendliness of the staff and the value for money make up for it. If you want a 5-star Sunday roast, go elsewhere and pay for a 5-star chef.

Shout out to Michelle that was on duty, couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast Buffett was excellent quality and plenty of choice. Would definitely recommend coming along and giving it a try.

Ruff and Run Down, I looked up the website first and it gave good reviews , but sadly that was not the case for me today , Firstly the opening hours are wrong on the website , so I waiting in the car park , which has a weird booking in system , so you may get a parking ticket , but never the less , I waited till 11.30 , then went in. Firstly the staff may be chatty and friendly , but they are not dressed very smartly , no dress code or anything here, So firstly , no decf coffee No breakfast menu , was advised it’s only Thu Friday Sat and sun , I think she said, and none of that was advised on the website . So I order gammon , eggs and chips , And had to suffer a regular coffee, The food arrived quickly and was hot , this is always a good sign , the eggs looked perfect , and that’s far it ends …. The plate was loaded with cheap frozen chips , the gammon was hidden and not very much of it , but what I did get was tasty . Overall I was disappointed with my visit here today , and I can’t see myself coming back , This was just filling up to be a pub full of people that are not working , just looked like they was filling in time and drinking , I know that makes me look like a snob , but haho , Bridge of Don has gone down hill if this is the locals . I just know I would not take my children here anytime soon . Oh and lastly , stop folks smoking at the front door , it’s horrible .

Food is what you would expect. Always hot and decent portions. Can't fault the carvery, does what it says on the box. Lounge is really nice when parents refrain from letting their children run about like animals. Bar is good, get a really good pint.👍 Toilets can be done with an upgrade though.

Ordered a carvery from Buckie Farm for both my wife and myself on a Sunday to make a change from cooking . However, although the order arrived before time (via Deliveroo) the meal was a joke. Hardly no meat on both our dishes (wife had virtually none) and everything cold. Manager said sorry but need to complain to Deliveroo. Not Good.!

Went for the breakfast buffet with my girlfriend and 7 month old baby boy and was very good and lots of great options. Great service from Michelle very nice and helpful with a baby chair. Definitely be coming back

My wife and I ordered starters and main courses from the set menu. For a starter we ordered a tomato soup and a portion of pizza rolls with a garlic butter dip. Firstly, they brought two soups, so one had to be sent back. When they then brought my wife the pizza rolls, it turned out there was really no point in having sent back the (tinned) soup, because it was just 4 pizza rolls (2 come with each soup anyway instead of bread) with an absolutely horrible dip. The dip was not garlic butter but garlic water with a few small fragments of butter floating in it. It had also been heated in its plastic pot. My wife didn’t feel comfortable eating something heated in plastic as she’s pregnant and this is highly toxic (hello phthalates) but she tried a bit and was nearly sick. Our main courses then came out quickly (while still trying to navigate the starters) and it was just meant to be two simple burgers and chips. Really thought we couldn’t go wrong with that, but the chips were pretty cold and the burgers were inedible. The patties looked like the very thin type you get in McDonald’s, but they’d been extremely overcooked. My wife was really hungry as she’d been at the hospital for several hours with no food, so she tried to eat it anyway but had to give up very quickly, leaving more than half on the plate. I couldn’t eat mine at all. It’s rare for a burger to taste so bad that I physically can’t eat it, but this was truly disgusting. We let our toddler eat the chips as that was the only part that seemed safe. The guy serving at the bar was nice, as was our waitress. Can’t fault the staff we met but unfortunately the food was so bad we won’t be back, at least not for food.

Thoroughly enjoyed my carvery meal. Huge plateful worth every penny. Only complaint is my Pepsi (draught) had a bleach smell and taste, not a big deal but when my boyfriend took it back to bar they didn't seem to be that bothered. It was replaced though.

A bit cringy when you’re the only people in. The buffet was not well stocked but didn’t take them long to get more stuff out. In the end a decent brekkie

Absolutely gorgeous place. Ideal for hosting parties. Loved fish and chips and all starters. Beer battered mushroom and prawn starters were delicious. With drinks, starters and mains it was less than £20 per person. Recommended place.

We had Xmas Day lunch at Buckie Farm. The staff were really welcoming & friendly. Service was great & staff were attentive & really helpful. Pre-ordering was really easy.The food was lovely - we all enjoyed our selections. Great selection on the Carvery Only minor complaint - I felt 2 hours was maybe not quite long enough for us but we sat in the bar area after we left our table & there was no rush to leave. A wee suggestion - Skirlie for stuffing would have been a nice alternative & a welcome drink! All in all - a very enjoyable Christmas lunch - thank you!

Outdoor Area needs a good tidy up, tape holding a lot of carpet inside too. Breakfast was ok, some items weren’t great such as eggs and tattie scones being over cooked, the tip here is to get there early for breakfast. Not a fan of the business card being handed out to leave a review, which now shows why one staff member is mentioned a lot. Please ditch the handing out of the business cards.

Make sure you tell this establishment you are using the car park. At no point did the staff highlight the importance of the carpark charges. I have been charged £100 for the privilege of parking here during my meal. Due to paying cash and it taking so long for the parking charge to come through the post. I dont have my receipt anymore. So much for a cheap meal. I may as well have gone to a Michelin star restaurant!

Never been Buckie farm before, really impressive, fantastic food and amazing place. Lovely staff. I will go again and again.

A nice Sunday lunch. Michelle was very helpful and sorted out an issue with something on the online ordering for us and made sure we had everything we needed, and explained how the carvery works. Good selection of food and drinks, including alcohol free. Carvery was tasty but could always do with a little more meat on the plate.

Michelle was lovely and helped my family from the start. Extremely friendly and the food was great. Will definitely recommend this place and will return.

I went to the Buckie Farm to have breakfast with my friend. We were greeted by Michelle, a very bubbly happy young lady. She was very attentive to our needs as a customer, making sure we were happy, and for me that was the most important part of my experience. The food laid out was plentiful, fresh (not dry) and delicious. I would recommend it to anyone, breakfast at Buckie Farm is well worth it.

Food was decent enough. Staff were very welcoming. A few of the chairs were in a state of disrepair, but something to do with the layout meant that someone at another table some 15 feet across the room's voice echoed around the dining room horrendously, meaning we were subjected to a booming retelling of an elderly man's week while we were trying to eat.

Decided to nip in for a hot drink while out for a walk after Storm Babet. The lovely Michelle was very attentive and pointed out that our drinks were refillable, so we ended up staying a bit longer than planned as we accepted the offer of a second cup. This is one of our favourite spots for breakfast, dinner or a quick drink. Great value and the staff are always so friendly. A lovely place to have on our doorstep.

We was in yesterday for some lunch and it was a lovely experience plenty of choice for myself and my little boy. We was served from Michelle and I can’t fault her customer service!

We used to come here at least twice a week as we stayed local and it was very affordable and great value for money, but we moved out of Aberdeen so haven’t been for a few years. Was really looking forward to coming back for a carvery. Was absolutely shocked by the tiny slices of meat that we were given!! When I said to the carver “are we on rations today?” His reply was, yes I know they are very small but this is all we are allowed to give. It was as if they were trying to carve the thinnest slice possible and it wasn’t a full slice.. far from it. A third of a slice from the piece of meat if you’re lucky. Very very disappointed. And not cheap either now. We won’t be back.

Poor service - spent a while looking for someone to speak to as we had our dog. Eventualy a girl appeared and said we had 'to sit by the door. There was no one else in the restaurant at this time. Unfortunately said 'door ' continually banged throughout our meal due to the bad weather, blowing it open and closed! Decor was tired with seats being held together with duck tape. Won't be back 😟
