Bubble T Break in Newcastle upon Tyne

Got a taro milk tea with tapioca from here a week ago. It was very good, had a nice taro flavour and I got it warmed. I don’t normally get my bubble teas warm but I asked for no ice and warmed was the only option I had, unless I had just misheard the cashier. Prices are pretty good and there’s charging ports near most of the seats so that’s really useful. There’s not as many flavour options as some other bubble tea shops but I will still come again to try the other flavours they have.

It was tasty, but not stunning. I probably didn't need a large strawberry milk. Honeydew wasn't the best flavour, but lots of options and a cute shop.

Wish I lived closer to Newcastle so I could come here again! Walking in feels like a warm hug, and there’s an excellent selection of tea flavors. I got the early grey milk tea and enjoyed sitting in the adorable shop while waiting for my train back to London.

Unbelievably good bubble tea for amazing prices (£3-4), with a friendly staff team. Will come again.

Cute little bubble tea room. Well decorated, nice seating area, very friendly staff and the best bubble tea I've had so far in Newcastle. We frequent this place on a weekly basis. Definitely worth a visit!

I always get the lychee fuzzy tea with aloe Vera and it’s always lovely. The staff are always friendly and the drinks are always made quickly

Bubble T Break is my absolute fave! 😍 Coffee Dalgona is always my No.1 Choice - The milk tea, brown sugar, and chewy bubbles. Strongly recommend!❤️❤️❤️ Also the Waffle Bubble! Sooooo adorable and delicious! Perfect for afternoon tea and dessert. Shoutout to the super-friendly staff! My favourite bubble tea place in Newcastle! Been coming here for years and never had a bad experience. The staff are lovely and the environment is perfect for hanging out with friends or studying, with a nice range of music and clean homely bathroom. Very affordable compared to other places and everything on the menu tastes delightful, as well as being served in reusable cups that you can keep. Also cute and handy carriers if you’re on the go!💕🧋

Lovely interior and quick service, I was a bit surprised at the price considering tapioca is often included in the drink prices of many bubble tea places, however it was an extra 50p per topping choice. The brown sugar milk tea flavour was a solid taste, however I would’ve preferred a bit more of the syrup (that’s on me though, I probably should’ve specified). The tapioca balls were a bit small for my liking and I did choke a few times- but overall it was nice and I will come back and try other flavours! definitely give this a go if you’re in the area! In conclusion: Pros: - places to sit down, - great atmosphere - paid for charging stations - quick service - very friendly - lots of options - the bottle is very cute, and reusable Cons: - smaller tapioca, not as chewy - what is included in the drink could’ve been clearer.

A lovely little bubble tea store, with a great selection of teas, cosy sitting area and the takeaway cups are reuseable!! I put my cup of tea in it the next day and it was awesome. The thick plastic lid allows for different types of drinks to be made and drank from! Well worth a visit, the staff were kind and helpful. My medium drink was Peach tea with apple popping balls.

Slow and rude service. Mediocre quality. Go to one of the many other better places in Newcastle. I made a complaint elsewhere and the owner claimed they would contact me but they haven't, so they obviously don't care.

An amazing place for teens it’s affordable with plenty places to charge devices. There’s an amazing atmosphere the staff are really kind and the interior is really nice with delicious drinks.

hidden gem. very cute modern decor, with little tables and convenient usb chargers. great selection of drinks with some unusual flavours. nice atmosphere and a good place to chill with friends.

Honestly so delicious and affordable ❤️ Such a cute comfy place to stay and chill, staff was nice and quick on drinks. I love boba cups that have heart lids and bear tops, the cutest. I got mango milk tea + Mango popping pearls. 10/10 the BEST mango milk tea i have ever tried! Father got something with brown sugar milk tea with custard pudding = Also a 10/10!! First time trying Custard pudding and was not expecting it to be easy to eat. It's soft and sweet. Good for people with a sweet tooth! Another time got Mint chocolate. 7.5/10 It's good but there's definitely other stuff on the menu you could enjoy Boyfriend got Vanila milk tea (Something with vanilla) 8/10 it tasted also delicious but vanila could be a lot more stronger but it was still good!

The drinks were tasty and the chips are great if you keep them . Otherwise they add to the plastic problem .

I wouldn't say it's the best bubble tea out there from what I had but it's definitely a great refresher when close by

Honestly?... This is a super awesome bubbletea cafe!! Delicious and colourful drink options , easy to read menu. Cute colourful interior design so creative! Cute decorations and pillows. A really great place to hang out or take a break, they have plug sockets for you to charge your phones/laptop etc. To order: -Order and collect your items at the counter I definitely recommend it to everyone!

i like their bubble tea. my husband also fell in love with the red bean bubble tea here while he used to think putting beans in tea was weird. well, he was super surprised when he first time see the bubbles in bubble tea in china as well...

A real Taiwan milk tea here. The best I've tried in UK! Must come and visit here when you're in Newcastle. Don't miss it! :)

Best bubble T ever. It is very authentic! The bubbles are really nice too. The teas tasted very good. Must give this a try if you are in Newcastle.

We always prefer visiting Bubble Tea Break as opposed to other Bubble Tea Cafe's in Newcastle. It is more authentic and tastier. The staff here are very friendly and unlike the other Bubble Tea Cafes, Taiwanese.

I do not usually eat pearls, but this is the best I have tried before! The pearls in the bubble tea were just amazing!

The bubble tea was really nice, the staff were lovely and they were really quick. Unfortunately the toilet was really dirty. Full of flies, broken tiles and just grim. Not sure if it was a public toilet or if they just let me in because I asked. If so then thanks for the kindness, and I feel bad for leaving this review, but you really should have higher standards of cleanliness. On the way out I noticed that the skirting boards by the bin and the door were dirty too. I wouldn't go back because there a other places to choose from and they don't look as dirty. Maybe I'll visit once more in a few weeks to see if it's any better!

They use real tea .. Not those powder type ones ... Very refreshing and many choices too!!! Staff are friendly .. Cozy place ... Love it !!!!

Bubble milk tea is fantastic, this place is a gem of a cafe that I've been recommending to everyone. It's great value of money and something new to try for a lot of people. There is a bunch of different flavours to try, I had a Nutella milk tea (hot) and tried a hazelnut milk tea (also hot): both were fantastic. You can get hot and cold, with bubbles or without. They are really friendly and recently sponsored our exhibition at Northumbria University. Such a nice place to try
