this place is so cute and i absolutely loved the drinks. Me and my family we went together and we all got drinks multiple times because of how good it was. Really love the vibes but don't like the loud music tbh. I personally recommend. Will visit again!

Here you can find traditional bubble tea with so many flavors. Nothing fancy, but the atmosphere takes you to the busy streets of Taiwan.

The shop is located right in Newcastle Chinatown, the service was very friendly and my drink was prepared in no time. I had green tea with passion fruit and mango pearls for just 3,60GBP. Highly Recommended!

Great bubble tea and wonderful staff, but obnoxiously loud club music made it awful to stay there.

Lovely little shop with a huge range of options. Bubble tea was great and pricing isn't anything out of the ordinary. Food was subpar though compared to the images advertised in the store and hence not great value for money. I also do wish they had more individual seating rather than so much space being taken up by two booths. Maybe a table along the wall and then you could probably fit another two tables between that and the counter.

We were mesmerised by the variety of flavours and just how much the place had to offer so went in for bubble tea after dinner. We tried some unique flavours - I got the rose one with blueberry pearls - however even after reducing the sweetness it was still very sweet so that it wasn't really refreshing anymore - appreciate a lot of people like it that sweet but it just wasn't for me! The rose flavour was also a bit mild, not very strong, probably would go for a more conventional flavour next time.

i ordered the Teriyaki Chicken Bao, and it served with a paper which sticked under the bread and it was not edible. However, when i reflected to the staff, they were unresponsive and ignorant, and didn’t react to it.

This is where my Bubble Tea journey started early last year. An absolutely stunning establishment with so many different options and combinations that it would take a lifetime to try it all. From amazing milk and fruit teas through to fantastic bubble waffles and ice creams. The prices are fantastic for the quality you get too. The atmosphere in the store is so good and you could be forgiven if you thought you had somehow left Newcastle and found yourself in an authentic Taiwanese tea house. I know it's a little way from the centre, and I know there are a plethora of Bubble Tea shops elsewhere in the city, but do yourself a favour and make sure to try this for yourself at least once. You won't be disappointed.

Tastiest bubble tea I've ever had!!

I got seafood noodle curry laksa and it’s a bomb 💣💣💣 It’s sweet and spicy at the same time 🤙 It’s perfect for rainy days and as hangover soup. They gave us extra laksa soup as well! It reminds me of Mee Curry from Malaysia 🇲🇾 I also got honey dew milk tea which great as always 🫰🏻 They gave us bubble waffle (It’s on the house!) for dessert and we finished it in seconds! Thank you for the food

Came here the past 2 times, staff were lovely but did my order wrong the past 2 times i was there. Music too loud in the shop too so couldn't hear over the counter to the staff.

Perfect bubble tea from a vast extensive menu and even better you can choose your sugar content! Best curry laksa with udon & seafood. Fab my dogs 🐶 were allowed in too! We’ll be back to try more of the menu very soon ❤️

Got a taro bubble tea with tapioca. Absolutely unreal. Nice and chill environment

The bubble tea of this place is rather average but I find their hot dogs and duck wraps are quite good. Nothing like I have ever tasted anywhere else. They also sell some Asian snacks near the front desk, which is nice. But overall the indoor sitting is poor and not very clean. I suggest do TAKE AWAY ONLY.

I have been coming since 2021. Never have any problems. The best teas are served here. I have been to many bubble tea places, but they have nothing compared to this place. They have many different flavours. The tea can be made very lightly for children. My kids absolutely love this place. I’m literally here every other week!

I went today and I loved it. The atmosphere was great, my drink was delicious and incredibly affordable(lychee bubble tea with passionfruit boba) and the service was on point even whilst it was booming with customers. I can't get over the price. £3.95 for a 700ml bubble tea. I would recommend to anyone visiting Newcastle, even if you have never had bubble tea before. One slight criticism I would make is that they give out paper straws like every bubble tea shop nowadays but I guess that us just a me problem because with today's environmental situation paper straws seem to be the way to go. Paper bubble tea straws are better then any other though because they don't loose shape quickly. So to summarise, I loved it there, my bubble tea was outstanding and I would definitely reccomended to anyone visiting Newcastle.

My favourite Bubble tea place. Today I had strawberry flavoured milk with a mixture of5 bubbles and as usual they didn’t disappoint.

Absolutely awsome. The best owner run and managed business. We are always welcomed with a smile and top notch service. It is a gem of a place. We would never go anywhere but here for bubble tea and waffles even though we travel half an hour to come here, it is always worth it. Fantastic place, literally the best bubble tea we've ever had, been to other city's who have bubble tea places but theyve never come close to the quality this place gives. Nice and friendly staff, and the pork dumplings soup is simply perfect.

Truly enjoyed our time at Bubble Cha Newcastle! The food was amazing and the service was excellent. I’ve ordered a bowl of seafood curry laksa. It was rich and creamy and it reminds me back to Malaysia. For dessert, my friends and I ordered their specialty bubble waffle topped with strawberries and blueberries and strawberry ice-cream. If you ever come to Chinatown in Newcastle, you should come pay a visit to Bubble Cha!

Tried the fishball curry laksa. I enjoyed the balance of sweet and spicy. It was perfect. Didn't regret asking the people there what to have with the lamquat lemon tea. The strawberry jelly tastes well with it. Awesome hospitality. Would definitely come back

Unlimited choice of bubble teas.

The best place for bubble tea in my opinion. Staff are always very friendly and helpful. Lovely little shop to sit in as well if there is any room. The most recent time I went I took a reusable cup and the staff were happy to use. I’ve only tried the teas from here but wanting to try the the bubble waffles as they always look delicious. I also noticed on my most recent visit that they offer free sanitary products should anyone need one in an emergency which I thought was a lovely touch.

The sugar level for bubble tea is to high.. even i said less sugar still to sweet. Hope the can balance it out. the shop is better for take out not sit in cause to messy.

Great tasting bubble tea for a decent price, they have a huge variety of combinations to choose from! We also tried a bubble waffle, and that was delicious too.

I've been going here a while now and the main things that keeps me going back would be the staff. The staff are super friendly and remember returning customers. The drinks themselves are very nice (if you get your preferred toppings etc) and offeres for alot of variety. Cold and hot drinks are served. Aswell as drinks they also sell a wide range of food ranging from sweet to savoury. I would highly recommend there bubble waffles and ice cream they're incredible. The only downside would be how small the shop is, especially when it gets quite busy. Not alot of room to move around but that wouldn't affect the star rating for me. Overall, it's a definite must try and I'd recommend going more than once. A nice culture diversion! Cookies are lovely!!

There are a lot of bubble tea places in the Toon, but there's a reason I walk to one in particular. Bubble cha is a small place (with two booths fo seating) that serves a large range of popple, jelly, custard and bubble teas. Almost every is vegan and they even do vegan pizzas, ice cream and waffleson occasion. Oh, and if you see the little iced vegan buscuits! EAT THEM ALL. They are so delicious. Not had bubble tea before? Well, it's essentially a customisable drink! Hot or cold, green tea, black tea-based, milk (shake) or coffee-based and then you add different elements. Ice, no ice, sweet, bitter, you name it. The popples are filled with tasty goodness and pop in your mouth (and can have anything from chocolate to lychee juice in). you can have a fruity drink or a warm milky drink. Stop wondering what it's like and go and try it! (A safe bet for newbies is either a milkshake version - try choc almond milk with cherry popple for example, or a fruity one like mango green tea (don't worry if you don't like green tea), sweet with ice and passionfruit popples...). Put it this way - it's nice enough for me to bother writing a long-ass review.

Firstly, this is more than just a great bubble tea place, the customer service is immaculate, such a friendly bunch of staff, flexible , hard working and always putting the needs of the customers first. Inside , you will find many pointers , menus and offers that are clearly visual and helpful in order to help you get the right drink or meal for you. whether if its buy 5 get 1 free offer to the multiple options of flavors and pobbles the possibilities are endless. And the drinks itself are in a class of its own, HANDS DOWN THE BEST BUBBLE TEA DRINKS IN THE WHOLE OF NEWCASTLE, so many satisfying and delicious drinks that are made fresh you cant go wrong at this place. My personal favorite is the Mango green tea with strawberry pobbles or the Taro milk tea with tapioca. If you are thinking of coming down then do not hesitate and make that great decision that will add some happiness and taste to your life. Decent bubble tea. I ordered an Original Milk Tea with pearls in it, but I found that the tea tasted very slightly bitter (perhaps the leaves were stewed for too long or maybe it's due to the type of tea they use). I ordered 70% sugar, but when I tried it I thought that they forgot the sugar since it didn't taste sweet. I then tried my friend's drink which had 100% sugar, but again found that it wasn't sweet enough either, so just be warned if you have a sweet tooth that you might need to ask for extra sugar. The pearls were very soft which I personally like, but the tea didn't taste very rich/creamy which I suspect is due to them using more fresh milk compared to other stores- but they do have options to make it more creamy, so if you need to adjust your sugar or creamer levels I'm sure you could ask them to do so.
