Birthday celebration and this was my vegetarian daughter's choice. Ultimately, one of the best "veggie" places we've been. Quire densely packed tables - it's a small place - with a "Shoreditch" uber-cool vibe. In summary, the food was very tasty (typical but good Middle Eastern fare) but combined with very large portion sizes (we were full by the time the "mains" arrived, and the price was very reasonable for the quality on show. I think this place buries the vegetarian options at Moro in the dust - better vegetarian food at less than half the price, and better service. We'll definitely return.

Wonderful spot, just a short walk from Spitalfields Market. It's very bijou with a trendy urban feel about it. We opted for a selection of small dishes to share and we were not disappointed. Every dish was absolutely delicious with wonderful combinations of flavours and textures. Our waitresses were friendly and helpful and the whole place had a really vibrant feel to it. We had a couple of shared desserts and again, they did not disappoint. The citrus G&T was amazing!! On the pricey side at about £50 a head and this only include 3 alcoholic drinks and no starter. We will definitely be back.

This was honestly one of the best meals I've ever had and I've travelled to over 20 countries in my lifetime.. Our server Elna was also amazing, super friendly, efficient, really knowledgeable, and made us feel welcome from the start. We went with the sample menu and added the Grapefruit ezme on top which we would highly recommend. We couldn’t pick a favourite, but the ezme, honey halloumi, burnt butter hummus, and mushroom skewers were standouts (and I’m usually not a fan of mushrooms). They also have the option to make the menu vegan if you are plant-based. The place was packed on a Sunday which says a lot, the atmosphere was just right and the staff managed to keep everything running smoothly so we were well taken care of. The only tiny issue was that our table was a bit small for all the dishes so we were juggling plates a bit, but honestly what a good problem to have! Fantastic value and definitely worth a visit - I couldn't recommend this place enough and have already told everyone I can about it. Thank you Elna and the Bubala team, we’ll definitely be back!

Over-priced for what you get. Cucumber dish was basically just that with tahini and spicy crunch £9.50. It was £9 for 3 small falafel. Ditto re potato dish £8.50. Most of the ingredients are very inexpensive and fairly straightforward to make. So felt a bit emperor's new clothes.

The whole meal was a great experience . We were blown away by the hummus( probably the best i have ever had in my Life). Honey halloumi with burned butter was insane. Aubergine also were great. Desserts didnt disappoint and a nice selection of wine. I think It s slightly overpriced but the service and the quality of the food easily make up for It. Special mention to the waiting stuff. Easy going, aknowledgeable, approachable and kind. Loved the whole thing and Will reccomend It

This lunch brought us back to life after eating a few heavy meals. I believe it’s all vegetarian, and lots of GF options as well. The brown butter hummus will truly live in my dreams it was so good. If you are a pickle girl like me, the pickle plate is a must. We also got the laffa bread, smashed cucumber, and oyster mushroom skewer. Everything paired so well together and we Walked away full but not overly stuffed. It was the perfect balance. Could not recommend more!

Ate at Poland street. Food average but hugely overpriced for what you get. Seating upstairs is ok but downstairs dark and uncomfortable. The dark green paint adds to the claustrophobic atmosphere. No windows or much lighting. Barely see menu. Staff push the menu for a minimum six plates for max enjoyment. The kitchen looked chaotic and not sure that hygienic. Very noise place. Not a pleasant experience.

This place is fantastic. Had one each of the vegetarian and vegan set menu - which is basically everything on the menu - and every plate was absolutely delicious. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

What a fabulous find - chosen solely on reviews and proximity to where we were staying. The food was divine and service top notch. Highly recommend!!

Extremely disappointing experience. Have visited a few times and previously enjoyed but this visit will probably be my last. The Sunday Roast was not very flavourful at all however the service was the crux. Honourable mention to ponytail guy who was pleasant until the end where he became very obnoxious and rude as they 'didn't accept card payments' despite having paid previously with card and could see the customer ahead of us paying with a card. Overall, mid-level roast and uncomfortable service, won't be revisiting!

Such bad experience with the £46 menu. Feel so cheated. Started was good but main dishes to share were a con. Chicken thighs cut into 5 pieces for 5 of us. Desserts one dish two things and expected us to share! Other main go to take away get more. We can go to Ivy Asian and get lovely decent food. The waiter did took care of my wife gluten free option which he did a good job. Even Laphet was so much better near it!!!

If you want to spend a minimum of £11 for an OK glass of wine or splash out £500 for a bottle of champagne this is the place for you. The pasta was perfectly cooked but the ragu was overly salty for my taste. The salad was excellent and I am told the artichokes were pretty decent. Service was good and the room is pleasant but it’s expensive for what it is. The fact that it’s surrounded by offices filled with bankers and fancy lawyers might explain that.

I've eaten Pilpel falafel pitta for a long time Freshly cooked to order with a good selection of salad. They are still as good as they have always been. If you've not had one and you like Falafel you need to try it. They are much better than many other falafel bars in the area.
