We decided to call for early tea after, with it been half term for a treat. We have been before and was good... My 2 daughters especially were looking forward to it as it was a curry Wednesday. Was busy as lots of tables were reserved. Kids decided to have a korma as well did i,and husband get a mixed grill. Went to bar over heard person in front complaining to friend they dont have anything. Our turn no Korma available. So I chose, tikka kids had burger, husbands was available. They said they had run out drinks glasses. No big problem that though. Got knifes ect brought had to wipe knives as wasn't totally clean. Then food brought to table, tikka was brought in a soup bowl, have had before so was strange, My tikka was just tepid. Husbands gammon was well over cooked. I know they might have busy. But I won't be rushing back.

Don't bother coming to this Cafe. The service was poor and food was poor. We visited the Cafe after a walk on the beach but was met with dirty tables that had not been cleaned, staff stood around talking in little groups. I had to ask for the table to be cleared and cleaned. Ordered a small breakfast and a double egg on brown toast. + 3 sausages for our dogs. Sausages was overcooked, like they were underneath a lamp to keep them warm, toast was toasted too much it crumbled away and was a bit burnt. The eggs was also like being left under a lamp due to staff not paying attention. when aske to order ice cream we were met with a sour face from more than 3 staff who was just standing around taking. Staff were young and didn't seem like they wanted to work there. It's a shame for the cafe because it's in a very good place but we will definitely not go back.

Cleveleys has been a favorite day out location for myself and my wife since the Covid lockdown ended in 2020. With overseas holidays severely restricted we just jumped in the car and headed to the coast and Cleveleys was on the list. 6 miles from Blackpool it does not appear to be swamped with tourists but has fantastic beaches and relatively new promenade which is brilliant for walking, cycling, great for kids on bikes & scooters etc. You can walk to Blackpool in about 2 hrs and also to Fleetwood same distance with excellent promenades to both destinations, both excellent walks and trams available to bring you back to Cleveleys. Cleveleys itself is a busy town with plenty of eating places, pubs & bars, cheap & mid range with tourist shops, M&S express etc this is not a stylish place with great nightlife and high end bars etc but it is a great old style seaside town, great for young kids who want sand, sea, plenty of open spaces for games and chips!. There are plenty of cheap places to eat, plenty of takeaways, try Bean's Bakery for pies, cakes etc brilliant old fashioned tasty foods!. Overall, Cleveleys is a great place for a day trip or holidays for young families not wanting the noise & cost of Blackpool, its close enough to visit if you want. Love it!!!
