3 days of food poisoning from this place. Serviced by a smarmy little man who kept saying sir sir sir. Having stayed in the Gorbals for a number of years I was pleased that this place had opened, the food was initially quite nice, however that didn’t last long I would rate the place a zero if I could. Hygiene is not top of the list and for the prices he charges you could eat in a much better establishment in the Merchant City. I have never wanted to see a place fail but after sitting on a toilet pan for 3 days while puking into a bucket, trust me I want to see this place fail.

Like a scene from Gordon Ramsey’s kitchen nightmares (the gorbals edition). £119 down for one of carmens pubes as garnish, half a molar I cracked on the garlic bread that was staler than the atmosphere.....Should have left the random bit of chicken my pal got in her Bolognase and my broken bit of tooth as a tip. You would get a better dinner 11 up Caledonia road flats.

Firstly the waiter seemed rather pleasant and was trying to do a good job but was a bit over bearing. He took our drinks order and didn’t bring us menus until after our drinks arrived. My friend ordered spaghetti bolognaise which was forgotten about and arrived some time after the rest of our meals, and for some reason had pieces of chicken through it. But instead of apologising for this the chef proceeded to come out to our table and tell us she uses beef mince (which we all know is what is used for spag Bol) and when we said yes we know but there was actually chicken in it her response was “I hope not that’s too expensive”. She then went on to tell us how she now had a buffet to do for 30 people whilst rolling her eyes (poor people). The fire alarm went off during our meal and they had to leave the front door open which caused us to be freezing throughout the whole night. My other friend found a hair in his pasta and chipped his tooth biting in to the garlic bread. All of our food was very oily and very bland. There was flies everywhere. And to top it all off when taking the bill which came to £80 we all put cash on the dish and one friend had to pay her share by card. She asked the waiter to put £20 on the card but instead he put the full bill PLUS £20 in the card machine and when she asked why he was charging her £100 he said “sorry I thought you meant put an extra £20 on I know I’m a good waiter but I didn’t think I was that good”. Just as well she checked the amount on the machine. Absolute shambles, poor quality food, over priced and appalling customer service.

The restaurant is only across the road but have never been in .The food was amazing I had the special which was Salmon and it was delicious the sauce was incredible. The whole meal was great and the service was first class. It’s a small place but very friendly and clean. The family who run it are so lovely and welcoming. It also does breakfast, lunch deals and amazing cakes. Would go back.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST I went here on a first date just the other day and was greeted by a highly unfriendly welcome. Staff seemed very uninterested in getting customers seated quickly. The menu choice is dreadful unless you like the taste of cardboard. After deciding to go for their excuse of a burger I was disgusted to find strands of hair not only on the bud but even so I’m the burger meat itself. The fries looked suspiciously similar to ones your mum would buy from Asda and I was never once offered any form of sauce. Not impressed at all.

The meatballs shared the same consistency as my grandmother prosthetic toe... I'd sooner defecate in my hands and clap as opposed to eating here again. The staff weren't what you would call "friendly". They presented a more negative atmosphere which lingered like a babies first jobbie. Myself and my families experience was an all round disaster from the get go and could not urge the unsuspecting public more to just settle for a bite to eat from the chip shop round the corner. Kind regards A very hungry man

After our cycle along the Clyde Walkway we were hungry. We stumbled upon this wee restaurant and what a wee gem. The meatballs were hearty, my bean and tuna salad was also delicious. The coffees are wonderful. Well worth a visit! Good value for money!

Visited bruschetta this afternoon for a spot of lunch , what a lovely wee intimate place, really clean and totally got the traditional Italian deli/ cafe feel! on arrival we were met by a really friendly waiter , really knowledgeable about the food on offer. Nothing was too much Trouble, I had the traditional minestrone with a toasted focaccia filled with cheese ham and tomato. All of which was absolutely delicious , all of the ingredients were really fresh and tasty! My husband had the lentil soup of the day with a half pizza with cheese onions and peppers , again truly delicious! You can totally tell all the food made here is made with love! We both also got coffees to take Away with us which were also very good quality coffees , and a nice touch was we got two wee free cakes to accompany our coffee, absolutely great , highly recommend this wee place , I will certainly be back in the very near future ! And lucky for me it is right on my doorstep so I’m defo going to be a regular !

We didn't get the Pizza's delivered. We went into the Shop and ordered Pizza's.A Large Pizza is £6.99 with 4 toppings, which I think is quite good value.Order on-line and you can get 2xLarge Pizza's for the price of one, after doing a survey.Good quality Pizza's with a choice of different bases. We didn't get offered different bases, but found out that this is an option after ordering (same with ordering on-line). * I've changed my rating from 3 stars to 2 stars as about a year and a half ago we ordered 2xPizza's online for collection and when we got home with them we found 2x burnt offerings that were meant to be 2x Pizza's! Haven't been back since and wouldn't recommend this place. Why would they box up 2 burnt Pizza's???

Second visit here against my better judgement, my friend had booked for a meet up visit to Glasgow. We shared antipasti to start, ‘should have went to Morrisons’ the meat and cheese was supermarket quality at best, grisly and hard cheese. Four of us had pastas with varying levels of poor quality, some undercooked and mushy and mine was so al-dente I nearly lost a tooth, terrible for a so called Italian restaurant. When queried with the staff, was told that’s how it’s made in Italy😱 My friend had the £35 rib eye with extra sides at a substantial extra cost, meat was chewy and not cooked the way they’d asked, totally unacceptable at this price point, Wetherspoons quality. We decided to skip deserts and coffee/ liqueurs, ‘which we never do’, as the rest of the experience was so bad. Instead grabbed a couple of pre mixed espresso martini cans and Cornettos from the shop for the train home. Only good points were the wine and soft drinks as they couldn’t screw them up. Genuinely feel a bit sorry for the staff in here as they look totally dejected, and it’s no wonder with the state of the food they’re dishing up. Will not be back, definitely Never Again!!
