Bru Coffee & Gelato Harrow in Harrow

What a disappointment compared to the previous Bru cafe in Harrow . The new one looks terrible inside. We walked straight out and went to McDonald’s.

I want to mention Alexandra and Sachin going extra miles to welcome us back each time as regular customers...it is our favorite and we will keep indulge ourselves most of the Sundays....

It is our guilty spoil to go for our special coffee at Bru Harrow on the Hill and the service is amazing all the time. I have to mention Sachin and Alexandra going extra miles all the time and do everything to accommodate everyone's request with such a friendly and polite attitude in the same time. They already recon the regular guests and put the order straight in the system...it is our favorite and we will keep indulge ourselves most of the Sundays....

The staff are amazing and always make my drinks just the way I like them. They have an especially yummy white mocha, possibly one of the bests. Highly recommend Bru for a chill, cosy atmosphere and good drinks, cakes, and sandwiches!

Lately on weekend prefer to have a nice break my sister at Bru Harrow because it is a nice place, we enjoy coffee and the selection of sorbet/icecream. Today we spoiled ourselves with the same but when we arrived it was only one person serving and I must say, Sachin was amazing dealing at some point alone with 6-7 people in the same time, taking orders and delivering promptly everything with no mistakes, very polite and always with a nice smile on his face. Amazing customer service and well done taking into consideration he was alone.....

My first visit to Bru. It was the best cup of coffee I’ve ever had. Strong and smooth. I’ve had coffee in every major coffee shop brand. Bru is now my number one. They use the wonderfully smooth Arabica beans. Next time I’ll be having a desert also. Staff are normal friendly and happy, which is a big bonus. We need more branches of Bru please. Luckily I have one fairly near me :) More franchises please!

I asked if they did gluten free sandwiches - the server pointed one out specifically. It was vegan. So I was in a LOT of pain. Also ordered two skinny lattes to take away - to find that they’d actually forgotten to put the coffee in.. the server was also coughing over the milk, no hand over mouth and no mask. Just disgusting and the servers didn’t care. They were slowly walking about not paying attention to over flowing coffee.

This is, I believe, a chain? But it doesn’t feel like one and that is half the battle won. The place is made to look quite hipster and thus a relief from the appalling mall in which it’s situated. Service is good, flat white was good (and ‘she’ is notoriously fussy about them) and my tea was also excellent. People hogging the sofas while not eating or drinking or anything was annoying. Other than that, very good.

Absolutely disgusting place!!! My first impression was‘filthy’. The upholstery, the sofas and chairs were dirty, the tables and the floor sticky- the menus and menu holders even worse. We ordered two hot chocolate for my daughter and me,and it was something off about the whipped cream. I didn’t eat it but hubby said he thinks it’s ok so I let my daughter to eat/ drink it. Silly me. It’s midnight and I just mopped up after my little one ,who got sick tonight after this lovely hot chocolate... Lesson learned. Listen to that little voice in your head!!!Never ever Bru again!!!!!

Apparently this coffee shop advertises gluten free options but when I visited today and asked what gluten free options they had on the menu, I was told that nothing is gluten free. I don’t mind if a place has no gluten free options, but to advertise that it does when it doesn’t - that’s the reason they get a one star review.

Cup of tea and a cake for over £6.00. Noisy and busy so obviously popular, but slow service. Also no WiFi reception which was frustrating as one reason for stopping was to Sort emails etc. Disappointed.

Staff are friendly, easygoing and responsive. Good range of sweet options available. Could provide more savoury options though. I bring my mother there most weekends. Nice overall.

I been here on Sunday before the cinema for cup of tea , the place looks busy and the staff working very slow, waiting time was very long or cup of tea,, I am not sure if I come back here

The service was ok. My latte was decent enough just lacked depth of flavour. Could have done with either more espresso or a stronger coffee. Surroundings are lovely. The price was around average for outer London.

I have been here to many times, for ice-cream because of my kids, how many times I come here I can see new staff with no experience, what is not good for the business. The place is not very clean, specially coffee cups are very dirty, I am not sure if I am coming back.

Place looks amazing great desserts and amazing fast service however, every time single time I go there is a bunch of hooligans constantly screaming and being loud and management does nothing about it.

Friendly staff and amazing coffee and love the cakes at this place, its my regular place with friends and family and advise people to visit here, bcoz the coffee and cakes are really good

The caramel lattes I order regularly are served with a well balanced and ordered ratio of espresso, milk and syrup. There is a nice selection of desserts too. Would recommend!

Now it’s a regular visit place for cakes and deserts after my first visit and I recommended my friends as well and they love as well... Love this place everything is excellent trust me ...

Fairly empty and appeared to have plenty of staff. However, had to wait 10 minutes for 2 coffees. When they eventually arrived they were cold, weak and tasteless. If you want a decent cup of coffee, don't bother coming here.

Been here quite a few times and I just love the desserts! The waffle pops (best waffles I've ever had) and bronkies in particular. It's nice inside and staff are nice too.

The cakes are really tasty and frappe is a lot better than other coffee places and it’s just a friends outing and all of my friends love the food.some came from out of London as well,it’s a right place for us to meet and have get together,we will keep coming in and recommend all people who love to go coffee shop and deserts parlour in Harrow,male sure you try this place,service,food and cleanliness all is excellent...

i loved my experience in bru as every thing was in good size and you wouldnt feel stuffed my friends where in love with it and so where my familly i love their waffels and cookie doug i recommend it to every one.

After my unsucessfull restaurant experience I went with my familly for Bru Coffee.The place very spacious and innovative design.I ordered cream shake with all of my members.All delicious with friendly atmosphere.I will definitely visit again.

The cafe is in the St George’s shopping centre so you have to go looking for it! Worth a visit for the good coffee, tasty muffins and friendly service. It is open later than most coffee shop chains, so gets busy in the evenings. People come here to play board games, do crafts and there are books to read, so quite the community meeting place

Cleanliness,hospitality,accuracy,Maintainence and products,service are better than near by cafes specially a lot better than Starbucks. Love the Flat white and the panini is the best,try this cafe you people will love it. I really had a positive experience..

I did not expect much going into this place but I was pleasantly surprised to taste their very good and tasty waffles. I als had some excellent chai latte. I’d honestly recommend this place if you are around in the mall or area. The staff are friendly and it has a beautiful ambiance.

I've visited Bru twice before on weekday afternoons and had enjoyed their dessert menu - I discovered that their waffles were egg-free (which is a plus since I am egg-intolerant). When ordering a strawbella (strawberry waffles) we were given a number card and was told that the food would be brought to us at our table. After 10 minutes' wait, a banoffee (banana waffle) was placed on our table and the waiter walked off hurriedly without checking that it was the correct order. We intercepted him and let him know that it was a wrong order. He shrugged and said we had to go to the counter. We brought the banoffee to the counter and the male team member who seemed like the manager, simply said 'That's not for you'. No apology. What was more ridiculous was 10 mins later when our strawbella was finally made, instead of bringing it to the table, they called us to collect it. A customer waiting at the counter saw us and VERY KINDLY brought the strawbella to our table. Sadly for him, the counter staff misunderstood his intention and repeatedly shouted at him 'That's not yours! That's not for you!'. This completely ruined our experience. Instead of being treated as a valuable customer, we were just a number. What's even worst, is that they could not even get the order number right. Needless to say, we will not come here again. Bru is overpriced, pretentious and customer service is poor. Indulge in Pinner is the place we will go. Thanks again to the kind gentleman customer who actually served us our dessert!!!

I have went to this coffee place and have been shocked with the bad treatment we have received from the owner of the business who said was also a manager. He arrogantly approached us and demanded that we move from a space we were sitting to accommodate a group of four. However, we politely requested him to find us a space and it's from this point onwards that he started staring at us and throwing insults which were unprovoked. They keep asking customers to vacate their seats before they have even finished their teas. very greedy for making quick money. I will never recommend someone to go there. very unpleasant experience.

My bestfriend & I were regulars at the Bru in Leicester when we were at uni. Since moving to London, we visit as often as we can. Never fail to impress. Perfect for breakfast, lunch or if you have a sweet tooth and want a cosy setting to sit in, Bru has got you. My breakfast was the Orange Hot chocolate and cookie dough- chocolate overdose, as the cookie dough was the classic- which was covered in chocolate. Brilliant nonetheless:)

A good coffee house that serves fairly good coffee, good selection of cakes and ample space to lounge about. I only wish that the service was quicker, staffed by at least one fully qualified barista. The staff however are super friendly and has the potential to be a great coffee house.

I have been a few times to this place, both at lunch and in the evening. One evening I went for desert and tried the apple and custard. The apple was cold and the custard was luke warm. Pretty disappointed. Also we were given a number card to put on our table but instead of bringing the deserts over the waitress just signalled at me to come and collect it. What is the point of the number card..

Visited a few times and they have a good selection of hot drinks and snacks/desserts.

We always pop in here for a coffee, a decent change from the bigger chains. The staff are always friendly and it's a fairly clean cafe.

While the location in a busy mall makes it removes some of the charm of the cozy decor, the ice-creams and the quality of the coffee make this place one of the best in Harrow. Much better than the high-street chains in the area (Costa, Pret, Coffee Nero)

Honestly, this coffee shop is too nice to be placed in a mall, but we understand. The vintage design makes you enjoy an espresso and a pistachio ice cream before or after the cinema.

Coffee was nice, Panini's were ok but slightly higher priced than other coffee shops in the area and unfortunately the service was very slow. There was only one other person in front of me and it took over 10 minutes to get my coffee and panini.

This is now my favourite place for a treat. Desserts and cakes are fantastic. Service is a bit slow for the better 'assembled' desserts, but well worth the wait. They should clean the one toilet more often and educate the clientele in using the toilet, especially the males. Otherwise I love the place.

I visited Bru last year with a friend and was not left impressed by their sub-standard waffles, and did not think to return again. However, after hearing many greats about BRU and their new and improved menu, I decided to visit again with some friends. I ordered the Nutella cookie dough, and was quite impressed. Although, I must add that the cookie dough did taste quite bland without the Nutella, and did go hard after it had cooled down... however, I would definitely return for the Nutella cookie dough again :)

After debating on either Starbucks or Bru we ended up here-what a big mistake! Firstly its a similar price if not more expensive and had terrible service. Firstly the person serving at the counter kept forgetting our items even after we paid for them. We had to go back and ask for milk for the tea. The tables were cluttered with finished plates which were not being cleared. I had to push aside plates on our table to make space. After requesting them to be cleared three times and getting ignored each time, I gave up. After all that the cakes were not great either. The Victoria sponge had a strange texture and taste and the brownie was too hard and dry. The vanilla ice cream however was good. Avoid this place but if you still want to give it a try then don't come here for coffee and cakes and stick to the ice cream.

We are Costa regulars but decided to give Bru a go for a change. We were greeted immediately at the counter by welcoming friendly staff. We ordered one latte and one English breakfast tea. The tea was made with leaves and served in a stylish teapot, with a good size cup and saucer. Enough milk and tea for 3 cups. The latte was as good if not better than our usual. We sat in a comfortable booth in the well designed shop. Excellent value for money.

Had the peanut butter cheesecake which was delicious and super rich!! And the chocolate orange ice cream was very rich too!

Lovely place, with a real family-run feel even though it is in a shopping centre. The strawbellas are amazing!

Their ice cream is out of this world! Just cannot stop. My son loves playing amongst the unique setting. The cakes are lovely too though they are very dense and somewhat heavy but delicious. Great for a get together with friends with children as there is something for every age.

The place makes you feel welcome, the service is great and they never take time with orders. They let you relax, play board games and supply books to read. And the food/is of a good quality. 👌

I have been last week with a friend was excellent, I love the coffee from this shop special flat white was amazing, Staff was quite friendly, sweets looks good but I didn't try yet.

Bru is simply the friendliest coffe shop i have been too in and around Harrow, the staff are always smiling and enjoy friendly chit chats whilst ordering. The Menu is tasty too! I come here most days and I love it :)

Bru Coffee in Harrow is one of the best coffee experiences you can have. Whether with family or friends or solo, on a busy weekday or for lounging around on the weekends, it is the perfect place to enjoy coffee and a have good selection of food to go with it.

Staff here are amazing and do a great job in customer service, very well maintained, clean, and probably the best part for me personally is the opening times, always open till late, they listen to customers and their suggestions and actually do something about it, overall great place to come and study or socialise with friends

My mother and I recently started going to brü. The staff and managers there are constantly smiling, they are very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed out drinks and waffles.

I've been in here a few times over the last few months, the Latte's I've drunk are ok but any specials like a Chai Latte are only luke warm. On a recent visit the wifi wasn't working and the toilet hadn't been cleaned.. the tap is still loose! Most staff seem ok but some seem customer scared and just work away. Overall it could be improved.

Having visited this place for the first time – there appeared to be a limited choice of sandwiches, ciabattas etc… for lunch. I had a Monterey Jack toasted sandwich. Somewhat very plain and lacking in taste. My Cappuccino was also luke warm. A friend had an Americano and a toasted Brie Cheese ciabatta and seemed quite fine with their choice. Really do not have anything further to say!!

I went here in three different occasions. I loved the ambience inside and with more choices of cold and hot drinks. I could bring my kids again here for a simple treat. The staffs are also welcoming, one of the server showed us the loose tea before we placed an order, that was a great experience. The area is clean too and I hope the cafe will maintain that cleanliness and friendly staffs, these alone will make a difference.

Best service especially by the manager Alkin, really great to sit and study in here alone or with friends in the booths. Lots of space, great atmosphere and the vibe you get when sitting inside is warm and cosy. Only thing I didn't like was the chicken panini's - they have an odd vinegar taste.

There are so many coffee and ice cream places local, this makes a nice change and. Kids love atmosphere inside

Awesome breakfast porridge! Really friendly staff and wonderful atmosphere. From someone who drinks alot of coffee they really do make a great coffee. My new regular for sure.

The coffee isn't that great annoyingly and the milkshakes do lack a bit of thickness however the ice cream by itself is very nice. The tea choice is great, but could do with advice on how long to let it brew for, as some get to a bitter state a lot quicker than others. Board games are battered but that's not the company's fault, just the people that use them but it's a great touch and passes an evening with friends in a far more entertaining way. Two poke stops too... With free WiFi... Can't complain about that

A very friendly,warm and enthusiastic manager in Bru harrow knows exactly how to welcome customers,manage the service and maintain a friendly environment. The excelent prices for breakfast and late opening hours made Bru a singular destination when i leave my flat. A confy sofa,colourful cup, good tea and polite personal service is all i need for my study time or when i like to organise my plans. Bru in harrow stand way beyond Starbucks,Costa or other places in harrow for several reasons.

When you're received with a smile and the personal acknowledge of your visit you feel welcome. And when you have the food delivered with that extra touch... the pleasure of a really tasteful meal! Thank you!

Enjoyed a nice vanilla & hazelnut latte & a guava ice refresher drink. Pleasant & relaxed surroundings. In a USA beach style diner with funky lighting in a booth enjoying my drinks. Prices are comparably reasonable & opening hours are excellent....was there until 11pm!

I am quite regular at bru but I have to say in the last few months there has been a change in atmosphere in the cafe-and not for the better.

Had a very tasty panini and coffee lunch today in brü. Nice atmosphere and friendly service only mildly let down by all drinks being served in take away cups as there was a problem with using the porcelain on that day.

Many times I been there and everything was OK . This time when I was with my 5 years old and 3 years old daughter and wife . While I am ordering . Kids are making mind about which ice cream they want . They guy behind the counter was very rude and start taa taa taa With his mouth till I start rushing my daughter . Even more than that he was very rude and asked his colleague to serve me instead .

Myself and daughter popped in after the cinema x it was newly opened x service was a bit slow but put it down to teething problems x we had coffee and sundaes x not cheap but was lovely x made a nice treat and decor unusual x

We were passing by and decided to pop in for a coffee. Then we spied the sign for waffles and ice cream. Yummy. Ample portion of both, try the banofie dream and chocolate hazelnut deluxe both out of this world. Staff were lovely.

First of all, this place charges £2.65 for a scoop of ice cream which is absolutely ridiculous and bordering on immoral especially considering the ice cream is horrendous and you can go to Thorntons which is directly opposite and get it cheaper. The waffles are quite obviously frozen despite the fact that they are claimed to be fresh. In fact, after just one look at the cake display it's quite obvious that they are frozen as they often look thawed and 'melty'. Disgusting. It seems that corners are cut everywhere they can be. The coffee is sub-par along with the employees. Save your money, if you really want a coffee just pop to Starbucks.

My favorite coffee now.. The food and pastries is just delicious everything is perfect .. I am as interior design student.. I loved the concept of the design from the entrance threshold to all the small details of the interior and how each corner has totally different concept design . I even chose this coffee to write an essay about because I felt it's just unique not like the other coffee shops here in London..

We had waffles and a hot chocolate. Despite complaining to staff that the waffle tasted awful, cold and hard they seemed not to care were completely oblivious. The hot chocolate was disgusting as well. The ambience and decor at this place is quite pleasant.

Splendidly helpful staff. The hot drinks are amazing, second only to the cakes. Good selection of savoury sandwiches as well. But the best part about this place is its atmosphere, aided by the fantastic choice of seating and decoration, and a distinctly unique feel - a welcome break from the 'sameness' of big chains like Cafe Nero, Starbucks etc. Visited here for breakfast and will definitely be coming back, for breakfast, lunch and dinner too!

This place is an amazing find. I work in the area and often get tired of the standard, same coffee places (you know the large chains) all of which are within walking distance of here. I love the ambience, the decor, the friendly staff. I wasn't sure what to have as there were so many delicious options! I opted for the mudslide hot chocolate! Yum, yum, yum! It did not disappoint. They even have a breakfast menu. I know where I'll be on my breaks from work from now on. So glad to have found this place in Harrow. A must go for all coffee, dessert and shake lovers in Harrow!

If you want to go somewhere where the service is super polite, the decor is really nice and not like every other chain coffee shop with great drinks, cakes and ice cream which is open till 11pm every day, come here !

It's a good concept of cafe with great drinks and atmosphere. All the corners are different in terms of design and arrangement. Can make good hangout place. Very child friendly with lots of games available to play with children's.
