We had our annual Christmas meal at the White Horse. We received excellent service, great food. Thanks Fredric

Good - Waiting staff were great and the atmosphere was good Not so good - The food was distinctly average and the Sunday Roast lamb meat was chewy.

We visited The White Horse at Harrow-on-the-Hill in November, arriving just after it opened at 12:20. The pub felt a little chilly initially, likely because it had just started its day. My boyfriend ordered the Bacon, Brie & Caramelised Onion Beef Burger served with chips, coleslaw, and tomato relish. I opted for the Garlic & Rosemary Marinated Chicken Breast accompanied by sweet potato dauphinois, French beans, Mediterranean vegetables, and a red wine & mushroom sauce. The presentation was impressive, and the food exceeded our expectations for a pub—packed with flavor and beautifully cooked. We were too full to order dessert, but we did try their coffee. While the coffee itself was decent, there was a delay: my boyfriend's arrived first, and mine took another 10 minutes. Despite the initial chill and the coffee delay, our overall experience was excellent. The food quality really stood out, making The White Horse a place I’d confidently recommend.

A traditional British pub with many classics on the menu 🇬🇧 My husband and I came here for a Sunday roast dinner 🍽️ My husband loved the beef dinner and I enjoyed the turkey 🦃 and desserts were very traditional but served beautifully🍨 The service was very fast and helpful. I am very happy to have discovered a decent pub in Harrow that serves "pub-grub" and next time my family visit me we will be taking a trip to The White Horse!

One of my favourite places to have a Sunday roast - the food is amazing and the staff are so so lovely and welcoming!

Great staff. Friendly ambiance. I had slight issue with my food, the guy sorted it out and took the food off my bills. They've been quite attentive with their costumers.

We had been tipped off about pie night and we were not disappointed. The lamb, pea and mint pie was delicious as photographed. What I really liked on the plate was the number of vegetables, I think 4 excluding the chips. Other members of my party had the chicken and mushroom pie, which was very tasty.

Visited here for 2nd year in a row with friends. We had come down for the NFL and stay near by. Came here for our first drinks of the day. Have good beers on tap. I had a pint of Asahi and 3 pints were 18 pound. The food looks amd smells amazing. Might eat there next visit to find out. Staff are happy and friendly. Would reconmend.

Friendly staff accommodated us for a couple of drinks before we headed to Wembley during busy lunchtime service

Haven't visited the White Horse for a while but decided to go for Sunday dinner & are glad we did , excellent service & a fantastic Sunday roast, we'll be back soon

My friends and I had dinner at the White Horse last Friday. We all had fish and chips, well it was Friday, why not? The fish and chips were excellent and the service of staff is superb and really friendly as well. This pub has a great atmosphere, is really welcoming and friendly, which I put down to the manager, Fred and his excellent team, will be going again next week have something else off the excellent menu, probably the calves liver which I’ve also had previously and is excellent.

Really great tasting food. The roasts are all very good. Good sized portions. I had the trio of meats which was really good. The other two in my party had the lamb and said it was excellent. The service was excellent as well.

The star ratings say everything. Look forward to going again. Complements to the chef, and his kitchen staff. And 10/10 to the front of house team... a pleasure to have dined.

We've been here a couple of times for Sunday lunch and it is always the same great quality food, served by very polite, attentive and helpful waiting staff. We will definitely be back! Maybe to try a pie night ....

Came hear for the wide selection of pies on pie night. From the very start we was greeted with a warm friendly welcome. Chloe was out waitress that evening , who delivered an exceptional service. Food was great and fresh , highly recommend a visit. This pub does some of the best Sunday Roasts IMHO.

A hidden gem, friendly welcoming staff, polite and great service. The young person who served us, Anna was amazing, ensuring we had everything. The food was lovely, tasty, hot and good portion sizes. To top it off the music was not loud and the play list was the 80’s, brilliant!!!

Great neighbourhood pub with excellent food and professional friendly staff . They have a wood fired pizza oven at weekends . Affordable and great value for money . Highly recommend

I went with my daughter for a drink after visiting my husband in hospital. We the stayed to watch the football. A group of 12 young people arrived with carrier bags of their own drink. A member of staff came out to question them them and they denied it. They were clearly drinking their own supply so I went and told the waitress who said they had done it last week. My daughter and I complained 4 times about this and their language. The manager asked them to leave and they did not and just laughed. We decided to leave at half time and told our waitress {who was lovely ) that we’re not going to pay for our meal and drinks. She told the manager. Before we left I went to the bar to say we were leaving and another waitress said the manager was going to speak to us but he had not. She took me to the pizza van to ask him to speak to me but he said he was busy he was making pizza. I said to him if he was more interested in entertaining a group of people who were spending nothing rather than a local customer who frequently comes to the pub to eat and drink them so be it. I left without paying. So sad it is my loyal. their

Warm and friendly pub for locals and visitors alike. They made me feel at home while my husband recovered from an illness. I will always love and remember the wonderful people I encountered during my time in London. Someday we will return to experience the love and compassion of the British people again. You're amazing people.

Had a couple of drinks in the garden. Very nice, clean, and relaxing. Staff are friendly & professional. Parking not great.

Very good food well presented good value for money

A great, unassuming pub situated on Middle Road between Harrow and its southern neighbour. Part of the Fuller's group offering a good range of keg beers and three hand pulls for the real ale drinkers. A food focus with all the tables set out for dining. Good friendly service. A pleasant place for a pint.

Spent evenings with friends here, staff fabulous, food amazing. Had steak and ale pie was to die for. Next time I'm down this way deffo coming again xx

Sunday roast was amazing. The service was great. I can't recommend this place enough a real gem . I would advise booking in advance . Will be visiting again in the next few weeks.

We went to the White Horse on Saturday in a party of nine for a friends birthday .I had the duck and my wife had the lamb both meals were fine dining, we all had a great evening and all the staff were very attentive and helpful Andy

Visited today with family for Sunday lunch. The Sunday roast dinners were delicious and would highly recommend! Will definitely be returning.

We were a party of seven, having lunch on Saturday . The menu was lovely eclectic mix of African, Asian French cuisine from a multi national team of chefs and restaurant staff. The food was all home prepared and cooked and was amazing with all our party expressing how tasty it was , with no complaints at all. The restaurant staff , a polish girl and French guy, were both professional and had the right amount of humour and personality . Great job everyone, will see you again.

Loved this jaunt up to Harrow on the Hill on Valentine's day. Our table was in an intimate "nook" and we had a French waiter. Lovely ambience and food.

First time here and so glad I found it because the food and service were exceptional. The pie was delicious and portions are huge!

Went there for a Sunday lunch. We had the lamb as the chicken had run out. It was okay. It's a dog friendly pub so lots of dogs inside. My fault I should have checked. Service was fast and portions were big. I've heard the pie night food is great.

Always love the food. The cheese selection is amazing, the pies are divine and recently I tried the liver with bacon and polished the whole thing off. The service is friendly and attentive. The pub is dog friendly. They have a nice garden for the summer and a nice fireplace for the winter.

Busy, vibrant pub/restaurant, food looked amazing, but we were there for just drinks, dog friendly, but some dogs were on the extendable leads not a good thing in a restaurant.

I had nut roast. But, the food wasn't really great. Potato roast wasn't done very well and was quite big. The sauce was too bland and had no taste. Wasn't worth the money. Won't be going again.

The staff here are lovely but I had a nut roast and it was so dry I almost choked! And the portion was tiny for what it cost with only two small roasties. Be warned veggies/vegans.

It’s was a wonderful evening and staff were so friendly and smily too. The best thing is that it’s was dog friendly and we could take our dog there. Food was delicious and tasty. Would definitely come again!

We loved the food and the place. The hostess was very friendly. Calves liver main course was deleterious and the vegetables were cooked perfect. Made a reservation to take a friend out already.

The food, service and atmosphere were excellent. The wines are also a great selection. The French chef delivers a great selection, especially on their French night every Thursday. They also do a lovely Jazz night once a month.

Hosted my wife’s birthday party at the venue, Frederick was very accommodating and looked after the party in a very professional manner. Would like to thank Frederick and his team for all there efforts in ensuring my wife’s party ran smoothly. Plus they do a really good roast. Will be visiting the venue again soon.

Was surprised to find a really good roast dinner in Harrow - a proper home-cooked style of roast, loads on the plate, really nice Malbec too. Bravo. Do give it a try.

An authentic pub experience with amazing food and great atmosphere. The stuff is great, and it’s always cosy. I recommend their full menu, but specially their Sunday Roast.

Surprisingly good food! I had the pie and chips and was pleasantly surprised. It was a great pie for a quiet little pub. The only downside was that we got a parking ticket for a very badly signposted parking restriction but that's not the pubs fault!

I've visited the White Horse four times in recent months. On each occasion the food has been delicious, the service excellent (thank you Monsieur) and good value for money. On two visits I've eaten outside - a real pleasure. The menu varies and pie night options are exceptionally good.

One of the best pubs in the area. An amazing atmosphere, great location and great staff. One to return for sure, the food is equally as nice.

Went to the White Horse for the first time in a while. Pub has had a refurbish in particular the rear garden which has new tasteful decking and tables. The food was excellent and the service great. Was nice to see Timothy Taylor's Landlord available .

We were looking for somewhere to eat on arrival in Harrow. We fell on the White Swan. The service was absolutely fabulous. The bar staff couldn’t do enough to please us. Menu choice was fantastic. The pink gin and lemonade was to die for. If we are ever in Harrow we will definitely eat there again.

This pub and restaurant are slightly different from the standards. It's quite small with a back beer garden but with nice service. Food is slightly on the higher price, but my crusted salmon was absolutely lovely - I'll be definitely back there to try more...

One of the only few pubs in this area that hasn’t been taken over by EmberInns and has quality food. Food is excellent as always. Different type of crowd compared to The Preston or BlackHorse. The owners take care of their pub and maintained their quality over the years. Would highly recommend - an interesting variety of food on the menu for all. Vegetarian options are also good.

One of the best Sunday roast in harrow. You must not miss the sri-lankan spiced chicken/king prawn salad. Absolutely delicious. To top it off the staff is very friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Anna.

Being a very hot Sunday no one fancied cooking over a hot stove. We decided to go to this place and let me tell you we was not disappointed. I had a Sunday Roast lamb dinner as well as my sister and my mum had the fish and chips. Portions are very good and value for money. Will definitely visit again and the staff were just as friendly.

Been here a few times now. By far the best food in the local area. Really friendly service too. The main menu changes occasionally but is always complimented by a specials menu too. If you’re looking for a traditional pub experience this is the place....
