Browns in Covent Garden is a must. Instantly, you feel welcomed and comfortable. The interior design is clever with its relaxing sage green walls and large mirrors reflecting warmth and light. We were served by Panagis who was an excellent example of genuine old world service. The food choices were excellent and the whole experience was brilliant. Panagis is a great ambassador for Browns.

The atmosphere and service was great.the waiter was efficient, nice, and (I might add) good-looking. The food was very good.

Excellent place for a leisure Sunday lunch. Great menu and non- hurried service, which was handy as my guest was an hour late. Accommodating me whilst I waited, the waitress, Zinash, was patient and helpful. The food was great, pork belly always welcome, and my friend had chicken. Sticky toffee pudding was excellent plus coffees, and the Domingo Martin Albarino with the food was a great choice. The service was first class all round from Zinash and we had an unhurried 3 hours even after the hour delay. Also thanks to Maria and Stella for making it a wonderful afternoon.

Waited almost an hour to be served. Meals were small, cold and tasteless. Risotto looked like a child’s portion, chicken and leek pie looked impressive with puffed pastry, but underneath barely any filling. Miserable staff, no welcoming. Won’t go back

Called in here for a drink and it didn’t live up to what Browns normally delivers Bartender was uninterested. They didn’t have the wine we wanted and his only suggestion when being pushed for an alternative was one significantly more expensive. He also made cocktails reading the drinks menu A shame as I like the Browns concept but not one of their better venues.

Family meal before watching a play at the next-door Noel Coward Theatre. Perfect location for pre- theatre meal. Excellent, friendly service. Good quality food, reasonable prices ( considering the area where you can get poor food at stupid prices). Surprisingly large inside. Attractive large bar for drinks only if required. Good clean toilets too. Recommended.
