Private party. Great venue, staff are helpful and ensure that everyone is happy with the event. Location is convenient for public transport. Have also eaten here and all were happy with their dinner.

Despite terrible weather and carrying a large heavy parcel , i arrived early before they opened , but they took pity on me and let me sit inside , then when I went to our breakfast meeting they could not have been nicer & professional if they had 3 Michelin stars! The food was wonderful the refills were there before we asked for them and I left with a happy heart. I look forward to going back for my next meeting.

We recently stumbled upon this place whilst waiting to complete our Chinese visa application next door. The decor is lovely and we had a lovely breakfast along with nice coffee to start our day. Dmitris and the team were super friendly and helpful with our 2 year old son. We would recommend this place to anyone in the area.

Excellent breakfast with a great choice of plates and our own private space. A party of 10 for our monthly early morning network event and it all went very well. Thank you Dimitri, we will be returning on 13th March.

Our business network group has been looking for an alternative venue to meet over a 7.30am breakfast. By all accounts Browns got the 'thumbs up'. An interesting selection of breakfasts available and good accommodation for the veggie-minded amongst us. The meals were good value, but the coffee, juices and extras added up a bit! Otherwise we were very happy and I have booked a return visit for next month. We were in the 'private room' – actually only a curtained off area upstairs, but not an issue as no-one else was in the mezzanine area, so that was good. The feature light over the table in the centre of the room is a bit low, so it was difficult to see other members of the group and maybe should be adjusted upwards?

Dimirtis is so lovely. So very professional! We had a lovely meal and will definitely come back as soon as we are able. Thank you!!!

Very quiet on a Saturday lunchtime. Great food, we felt good value for what we had, and very accommodating of our children too.

We had an excellent lunch here yesterday. Mari, our server, was fantastic and really helpful to a family with young kids. The food was also delicious!

The food was amazing and the service was indescribably great. After the meal, I lost my only travel card outside the store, so i freaked out it was almost the worst trip ever. But they found my card and kept it for me. They saved my life. A huge thank you to all of them.

Went for dinner which was delightful. I had the prawn and crab linguine. As well as a couple of cocktails which very great. Anita and Carmelo were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble.

Anita was very nice and attentive. Food was lovely. Experience was a bit spoilt however by Carmelo, who tried to repeatedly pressure people into giving reviews, even before food had arrived

We were walking around this area- and we simply walked in to have a cup of coffee. It turned out to a lovely decision- and We were surprised by the spaciousness of the space, and how neat and well-arranged it is. The staff were very neatly dressed and cordial. We ordered our coffee - which turned out very well made. They have soft music playing which literally teleported us to another era. High ceiling, gentle lighting, and fans - all added to old world charm.. simply beautiful! Only flip was that the bathroom didnt match the look of the restaurant. All in all, it is a beautiful, posh restaurant which gave us a wonderful experience for the short while that we were there for. I plan to take my close friends for coffee/food soon.

Not very good food. Cold soup and steak isn’t good at all. Chewy and too much fat. Chips average at best. The wine was ok but food needs to improve.

We came across this place by accident and it was a lovely surprise. They have traditional English dishes with a more fancy twist. Prices are good for the value. Fish pie and Lamb Sheperd’s pie were great. Thank you very much to Anita and Dimitri....

Very nice atmosphere on a Saturday for lunch; quiet area and music is not loud, you can talk to your partner. Food was tasty (cod was well cooked, so was the burger; fries oprtion a bit too small). Service was smiley and attentive. I like the bar, it's old fashion but it fits the area perfectly.

Great as always. Tonnes of interesting choices on the menu. Staff were very polite and helpful, and they gave us an unexpected birthday surprise which was lovely.

Ate lunch here today with my husband and kids and we were really impressed by the service and food. Usually it's either us or the kids who enjoy their meal, but today we all left full and happy. Definitely the best Browns by a long shot.

Met up with a few friends for lunch. The food was very good and the service was helpful and friendly. Not many other people around but that allowed us to chat and hear each other. Though Browns is big inside, I can imagine that a table booking would be required.

Quiet family lunch between Christmas and new year. Single main course. Good service. Steaks cooked well. Sea bass good.

We were happy to be accommodated for drinks in the bar area at a high table as we arrived very early and couldn’t find anywhere else to go because of Christmas parties. The front of house was great! We were then moved upstairs for dinner. The waiter we were first assigned was terrible. Cold and very pretentious. Also absolutely not knowledgeable about the current promotions (we had a free cocktail from the app and a gift card). He gave us the wrong information as said it was one or the other. Thankfully we insisted and a manager confirmed we could indeed cumulate both. It seems we were assigned another waitress after that who was lovely and very professional. The first individual is definitely in the wrong job! The food was however sub-standard. We didn’t have the Christmas menu but felt it was not cooked as it should be (salty dry etc) for the price we paid. We were glad to have had a gift card (courtesy of your amazing Instagram customer service!) or else it would have been too expensive for the poor food quality.

As the restaurant was busy and there were 10 of us I was prepared for some delay but in fact everything went very smoothly and the service and food were excellent!!

Fish & Chips was great but how you can charge more than £10 for a handful of prawns in runny sauce out of a bottle dumped on a plate (as opposed to serving in a glass) is beyond me!?! Also I noticed my 2 guests chicken “skewers” were actually 1 piece on a single stick three times and again >£10 per starter I’ve been coming to Browns OJ regularly for 15+ years and this was by far my most disappointing experience compounded by the fact that it took 2 hours for 2 courses and coffees

Very poor service. Had to wait for over 30mins for a drink.....which was brought up wrong. Waited nearly an hour for starters and when it was served it was so poor 1 dish was returned to the kitchen. Had to complain to the manager who then took matters in hand. From then on the service was good (by the manager) but in all fairness, the food was average.

Christmas comes every year so it's not an excuse for two ladies bathrooms and a manic crowded restaurant. Staff and food was good. Please plan better and for the love of everything have more than two bathrooms in the basement. If you had one on the ground floor definitely didn't find it.

This cozy and modern brasserie is a must visit! With an amazing staff, delicious food and mesmerizing atmosphere makes it a 10 out of 10. I will make it a routine to come and visit it everyday!! Everything you can think about: the prices, the place, the food are perfect. Great job!!

The menu at Browns has changed since I last went to one of their restaurants and not for the better. I found the menu quite uninspiring and the food very average. The service was very hit and miss with incorrect dishes arriving and twice children's items being completely forgotten. I shan't be hurrying back.

Definitely not the place to go for an English breakfast, sausages and puddings were horrific, beans were cold, the buttered toast had no butter

Genti and the rest of the staff were incredibly helpful and hard working. Genti with helping me with the booking queries and the staff on the night. When we arrived it was extremely busy and our table was not yet ready. When we did get seated it took over an hour for our starters to arrive. I think the restaurant and bar was too busy and the staff couldn’t cope with the number of bookings and those at the bar.

We enjoyed our Christmas lunch at Browns. Food was delicious and serice was good. Music was rather loud though

in a nutshell food was lovely , service all over the place , had to wait ages for each course to be laid out , if it wasnt xmas i would of made a fuss or and sent food back which was cold because out of politeness people were waiting to eat there food only once others had been served

Only food that was great was the olives. 2 fish chips overcooked. Steak not cooked to order .fish dish half cold .

I had not appreciated that Browns was part bar and part restaurant. Visiting on busy Thursday night was a mistake given loud music combined with loud hubbub - meant conversation was difficult. My fault - I am getting old. Service was very attentive and friendly and the food was nice (although my first choice main meal was off the menu).

Great service. Genuine hospitality from a team that know what they are doing. A reminder that you don't need to put up with mediocre service in the City and don't have to pay through the nose for it either.

We had a great evening. The service from Kef, Reception and Kayleigh, the Server was exceptional. Both were attentive, polite and extremely helpful. The food was very well presented and tasted as good as it looked. The decor is warm and inviting. Although it was quite noisy as it was busy and the high ceilings reverberate sound.

Perfect spot for pre-dinner drinks in preparation for Hawksmoor nearby, especially on a lively Thursday night. The ambience, both inside and outside, sets a great vibe. Attentive service complements the nice surroundings seamlessly.

We had afternoon tea here for my partners 30th birthday. Everything was fantastic from the quality of the service to the quality of the food. They also provided great options for vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian and a nut allergy! Great value. Shout out to Tav and Kayleigh who were brilliant and made it all extra special.

Was here on a work dinner, nice food was good that they printed out your pre order as I always forget. Calamari was soft and tasty and the chicken schnitzel was massive.

Lovely occasion meeting up with a friend for the first time since lockdown. We opted for the set 3-course lunch. The first and last course were delicious and well presented. However, the risotto was overcooked and claggy.

Staff was unprofessional and was in such a hurry to cater to the customers. If your site says you close 11pm you should not be going after customer to leave.

Brought a group of 26 for dinner, brilliant service, brilliant food, would highly recommend! Paulina and her team were absolutely first class!
