Brown Bear in Wirral

Fist visit yesterday 10th September what a great place . Coffee and toast excellent and a good price, whole cafe spotless. Staff very friendly , will definitely call in again .

Lovely little place for breakfast, brunch , lunch. Nice coffee/ tea, nice service, nice vibe about the place. Sit inside outside on a nice sunny day.

Stopped by after a recommendation and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The food was very good delivered promptly by pleasant staff. The eggs royal was excellent and we will definitely be returning again

Oh dear, today was such a disappointment, I've always had a lovely experience at the Brown Bear, but today was a let down.. firstly web page said they open at 8.30 , when I arrived, notice on door said new opening times 9am. As I was the second person to be served my breakfast came up cold, ( do cafes not heat there plates), my husband ordered extra toast with his breakfast, that didnt arrive, untill I asked where it had got to.. ? All in all it was a let down, and has put me off going again. I've worked in catering so I know problems arise. Little things need looking into, warm plates, get customers orders right.. etc.. then I will be back.

My friends and I had such a lovely visit! Not only were the staff so welcoming and friendly but the food was delicious and the coffee was lovely and clearly very good quality. I’ll definitely be returning very soon!

Fabulous breakfast. Nothing too much trouble. Great atmosphere. Got busy but not so you'd notice as plenty of space. Will be back!!!

I went here with my daughter and we found food was brilliant, atmosphere was good ,prices were good and they let dogs in !!!
