Lovely place my first time but won’t be my last

Tried the small bento cakes in from here. Was nice and tasty.

I ordered a two storied forest theme cake for my sons 1st Birthday before a week of his birthday. I gave the order by paying the full amount upfront and they agreed to deliver by 11 am on the day of birthday. when I reached there to collect the cake by 11 on that day, they simply said that to wait for 2 hours as the cake is still making. I waited for two more hours and then I realised that they gonna never give me the cake even if I wait for another day and every one which was invited for the party was waiting for the cake cutting and almost I got ashamed inforont of the whole gathering. I then went to another bakery and bought another normal cake and because of this , spoilt the whole party and all the foods were cold and the whole party got spoiled because of this. All my hard work got ruined and I was so upset because this . Never recommend this bakery to anyone .

The Turkish breakfast was excellent

I absolutely love this bakery and so does my son . Everytime we there the customer service is excellent . The place is clean and friendly . Their cakes and desserts are exquisite! Such a treat .

I needed a cake on very short notice and hadn’t placed an order, so I decided to visit this bakery after noticing their beautiful cakes. I picked a chocolate cake, which cost £35—a fair price for what you get. It was perfect for our gathering of six people. Everyone had a generous slice, and we still had half the cake left! I was initially worried it might be too rich, but it had just the right amount of chocolatey flavour. The staff were also lovely and very helpful. I’d definitely recommend them!

Disappointing Service and Lack of Customer Care We ordered a customized Christmas cake with our company logo from Brothers Bakery, for which we paid an extra fee for the customization. However, when our colleague went to pick up the cake, we were informed that due to an issue with their printer, the cake was not prepared as per our order. Despite contacting them on December 23, 2024, to address the issue, we received no positive response or resolution. When we visited the bakery again today to discuss the matter, the management’s attitude was unhelpful and dismissive. This has been a highly disappointing experience. The lack of communication, accountability, and basic customer service from Brothers Bakery reflects poorly on their management and business practices. We expected better service, especially during the holiday season.

We have ordered cake from here multiple times and were happy with the services. But the last time we have ordered for a cake with our company logo and they have charged us the price of a customised cake. On the program day, they gave us a normal Christmas cake which was definitely bulk produced. They didn’t bother to inform us about not customising the cake. When we asked, they said about not getting the print. When we asked about the price, they said, this was baked within that price! Seriously?! A customised cake and a normal cake on the same price and the price was 55 pounds! Too much and shame on you people for being greedy with loyal customers like us!

Ordered a week in advance a birthday cake, paid in full. Came to collect today only to find out the cake was never made. The only thing I’m told is - “oh sorry I don’t think they’ve made your cake” along with WhatsApp calls trying to get to someone. I was not offered a different cake, I was just left with no cake to give for a birthday! Clueless girl returned me £40 in cash (I paid by card) and just told me to go elsewhere. Imagine being sure you’re getting a cake, bringing the receipt with £40 paid cake and getting NOTHING. Absolutely appalling. I’ll never recommend. Cakes may be nice but if there’s a chance you won’t get it then why bother ordering at all. Had to go to bakery down the road to get a cake of the counter with no “happy birthday” or anything. Disappointed to say the least.

I had a cappuccino which was lovely and the service was great I'll definitely be coming back and ended up buying chocolate croissant for lunch 😁😁

Bought 4 cakes, couple of Milk cakes and Some Dubai Chocolate to see what all the hype is about, al the Cakes were fantastic but Dubai Chocolate wasn’t any special but for £4 you can’t really complain, overall all the stuff was well nice and tasted amazing. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a sweet treat and i would definitely visit again.

A great place, having a coffee and cake at brothers bakery is enough for a good start. I strongly recommend it to everyone.

I recently visited Brothers Bakery in Northampton and was impressed by the friendly and attentive staff. However, I was quite disappointed with the food. The flatbread with potato filling was rubbery, likely because it was reheated in a microwave. Given that it's a bakery, I expected higher quality offerings, but unfortunately, they fell short. I won't be returning based on this experience.

The food was very bland, price wise I think is was very over the top £29 for some flat bread warmed up in a microwave and a couple of mini pizzas. £9 for a Turkish rice pudding, the rice is slightly undercooked. I expected some amazing flavors. But I got very bland taste, the spinach in the flatbread had sand in it, not washed properly. Staff were friendly and service was good. Sorry but I wont be visiting again.

A welcome addition to Northampton, delicious cakes, great coffee, friendly people, must visit for those with a sweet tooth and that Dubai Chocolate is just too good!

I visited Brother's Bakery Recently and it was a delightful experience. I Tried their pistachio sweets, and dry fruit cake it was moist , yummy with right amount of sweet. I highly recommend this Brother's Bakery for Anyone with sweet tooth.

Food is okay but the young lady in the counter is very rude and unwelcoming. Won't visit the shop again. The staff in such shops/restaurants need to understand that people coming to restaurants is to relax and having some good time and they need to maintain a pleasant atmosphere there. My experience was awful.

Visited today for the first time to buy some cake and Baklava. I found the young lady serving somewhat cold and lacking good customer service, the place was OK didn't inspire me to sit in, the food was fair.....if the service was better and more welcoming I would return even though the food was fair but i really expect better service. I really don't feel compelled to return.

I went a few days ago to order a cake for my little girl's birthday, it's a very cool little place, where there are a lot of sweets, baklava and others, you can also serve a coffee, and the cake was excellent, the kids loved it. It's worth it to try

Nice bakery with plethora of cake and sweet options. Tried their shake ,churose and snacks. All were good. The service was excellent. Would love to visit again.

I ordered a latte and a baklava, the lady made me a latte with only milk without any coffee the milk looks awful. The latte was not like a normal latte, I discussed with the employee why she brought me such a latte, she answered me rudely and had inappropriate behavior for a cafe. She told me "I didn't bring you here for coffee and if you don't like it you can leave and I'll give you money". This attitude leaves much to be desired for an employee towards the customer. when I asked her to give me the money for the Latte that I didn't even receive and didn't drink, she came with a toupee and threw cash at me, which I paid with the card not cash and I wanted the money on card back what I did not receive. the food is super good, but the attitude of the employees towards the customer was very ugly, I will definitely not step foot in that place again even though I really liked their cake.

I ordered cheese and potato Gözleme...was fresh and delicious.Bought pistachio Baklava for home.Just can say Baklava is the one of the best I ate till today .For the best Baklava I go to London but know I have another place to go when I miss :)patisserie is almost the same in Tùrkiye which we miss here...thanks..looks like clean place too,hope that will go on the same...

The products are lovely, but I've always found the service a bit surly, unfriendly and unwelcoming.

I wish this was more local to me because I have met a meal, drink or person I haven't liked. If you want great food and coffee this is the place to come.

We’ve bought our celebration cakes from the same Turkish bakery in North London for 15 years. But now we live too far away to warrant the drive I was hesitant to try somewhere new… I needn’t have worried! The cake here was absolutely delicious and the whole family loved it! I can’t wait for an excuse to buy another!!

On Valentine's Day, a male employee recommended me a heart-shaped cake in which I found a toothpick, I'm glad I survived and didn't swallow it. The sponge cake was dry and the cake was not very tasty. I bought there several times before, it was tasty and good

The flat breads are VERY delicious. 😋 So far, I've tried the beef, the spinach & feta/peynir, and the Turkish sausage & cheddar.

The blonde lady at the cashier was very rude. She put down the new plates of other customers suddenly on our table saying “You are done right??” Meaning we should get up if we finished eating. We only stayed a total of 15 minutes in there. When we approached her of why she did this, she mentioned this was the manager who told her to do so. This was exactly on 6/january/2024 at 3:15 pm Very bad service

I have been many time to this bakery and the coffee use to be really good. On my last occasion the coffee was tasteless and the service was so poor. I will never set foot in this bakery ever again.

Wow what a find! Hard to get a decent cake these days, the quality of bakeries has gone down across the UK, so was delighted to stumble across this boutique bakery. Prices were super reasonable and cakes looked so delicious I bought two - the vanilla with jam and nuts on the outside, and then the chocolate cake that came with chocolate cream inside and a little profiteroles on top Both came with little raspberries on top, and were £6 each. I can testify that they were absolutely yummy, very fresh and tasty, not overly sweet either. Oh for the days when bakeries were fresh and unique instead of the ghastly Greggs that seems to be on every high Street. The baklava looked lovely too, unfortunately I forgot to buy those, will make a mental note for next time. The attention to detail is fab, the medium cakes are £20 and the large cakes are £30. Absolutely great value, can 100% recommend. Look forward to visiting again 😋

customer services is lacking - and 1.50£ for a tiny tea is a bit extreme. Otherwise freshly baked simit and turkish gozleme is ok, purchased 35£ birhday cake from there as well - it was disappointed. I think they are overpriced their menu - there are better places you can go and get fresh baked birthday cakes.

Literally walked in there today cause my little boy saw a cake and wanted some.Didn’t even know this place existed but oh my god am I thankful I found it. My little boy chose one of the small chocolate cakes and the girl that greeted us was super sweet and kind. The cake absolutely amazing, fresh and sweet. We will deffo be back for more 😄

I have gone to Brothers multiple times and each time the food was great, especially the flatbread. It is reasonably priced and a great lunch location.

The worst cake design. My wife wordered a spider-man birthday cake for our five year old boy with fruit and chocolate and they decorated it with loads of white dots made of cream for no reason. I don't know what they thought when they decorated it but it honestly looked terrible. I'm very upset that they didn't stick with my wife's plainer design and they overcomplicated it, making it look like a old fashioned cake (with spider-man on top) 😂😂 I would give them a 0 star review, just very very disappointed.

Looking for somewhere to get a coffee, I wandered in. The smell of the food cooking was mouthwatering. I never can resist baklava so I had a piece of walnut and a piece of pistachio with my latte. Just divine, and really set me up for the day. The most beautiful glass lampshades in a variety of colours really set the Turkish atmosphere (all that was missing was the music), and it was amazing to watch the lady making filled flatbreads. Of course, I had no idea what all the amazing looking foods in the cabinets were, but they looked delicious. I’m definitely going to be back to try some of them.

So happy to have this beautiful bakery in our town, I had the beef mince Gozleme (Turkish pancakes) today and it was delicious and the service was great! Beautiful selection of cakes and bakes. Highly recommend and already can’t wait to go back 😊

There is a blonde lady at the cash register. I have never liked that lady. She looks at my people's husband and fiancée rudely.

Food looks amazing through the glass. I entered to enquire something. The lady on the counter was RUDE, i dnt know the reason, but you are in the UK now. Adapt to the culture. People are more polite and humble here. Its good to respond with a smile. 5 star as i dont want to diminish your efforts.. Hope to have some food soon and keep the 5 stars as 5 stars. Share your menu as photos, i wanted to see online but nothing was there and i did not dare to talk to the lady again.

RUDE STAFF AND OWNER. Horrible attitude. Food was dry and disgusting. Waitresses were very rude. Owner was present and did not bother to correct their behaviour. Cutlery was dirty, placed on dirty table. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Absolutely stunning and delicious experience. We tried Kunafe which was freshly baked from the scratch and served with pistachios and ice cream. Kunafe tasted better than Hafiz Mustafa in Turkey.

We’ve had a couple of coffee’s here, with great friendly service and good quality, hot coffee, far superior to Costa or Starbucks. I purchased an ‘off the shelf’ 8 inch birthday cake for Chris this weekend. It was absolutely amazing, light, fluffy and delicious, the family have said it’s the best cake they’ve ever tasted. (And we eat a lot of cake) Well done to the super friendly family that run Brothers Bakery in Abington Street. We’ll be back for more, the baklava is amazing too. ❤️

Very good Turkish bakery with so many choices that it makes difficult to choose what you are having. We opt for flat bread with cheese and fresh spinach and a sweet cake for after. Very good Turkish tea and coffee. Different prices to eat in or take away. Great atmosphere and incredible display. Very recommended.

Very rude member of staff and two customers who were his friends, absolute shame as I wont be giving them any more of my money, I felt very uncomfortable as a British person and found their behaviour disturbing.

Rude staff Didn't even get to try any food. We simply asked about a dish whether they served a sweet version the lady we asked didn't speak good English and was trying to explain then before she could even finish her sentence the girl behind the counter cut her and us off and just shouted No..so we walked out. I politely said thanks, they didn't even deserve that for the way she spoke to us. No need.

Turkish coffee got served cold, the coffee hadn’t settled so just a mouth full of grounds. Service was terrible, after 25 minutes waiting.

Best baklava ever I made around Northamptonshire. You can get real taste of pistachio. Really awesome everybody should try it.

What unique little independent bakery and coffee shop , Lovely selection of pastries and cakes ,our first visit looked very popular with the locals -all known by name , they just need that little bit more attention to detail and be on the ball ,as we were sitting they lost a few new customers that decided the wait were too long just walked out .

I went in 2nd day of opening. Was soo excited to have the freshly made gozleme. I left the bakery angry and disappointed. 1 Rude waitress....another couldn't speak a word of Engilsh! Ordered rice pudding lady said £3 sat me down and served me Had 2 types of bread Also a spinach and cheese gozleme tasted divine, sadly they took ages to serve. Husband went to pay and she charged £4 for rice pudding. Upon asking she said as I ate indoors. I made it clear she never mentioned there was a different price for inside... Then she rudely said " it's COMMON SENSE that I couldn't take it out as it's in a clay dish which I can't take home. I was angry at this point ...she served me, said the price £3 and never mentioned any other price and now she questioned my common sense!!!! I haven't been back I don't want to see her face Costumer service appalling I wish I could have that gozleme though.

Its very pleasent we have in town centre such a place i bought few things baklava cookies and bread everything was just awesome . I am definately gonna go back and will recommend everyone to visit this place .
