Always love eating here, food is always tasty and the staff are great and very Accommodating. My granddaughter has allergies And they are great with her. Nothing is too much trouble.

Usually, I have a very good experience here, meals/ Sunday lunch very good and plenty on the plate. Unfortunately, the last visit was very disappointing. Food on the floor around our table which also needed cleaning before we could sit down. Staff was friendly, but a couple of the servers clearly had little knowledge of available menu and people around us were ordering food only to be told it was available. Sunday lunch in the past was always a treat and very enjoyable. Unfortunately we was offered two choices, gammon or Turkey?? Clearly over ordered at xmas. No pork,chicken or beef. Price had gone up and food portions had got a lot smaller. Very reluctant to return, which is very disappointing because I love beefeater.

Have visited beefeater at Belmont on several occasions but unfortunately on this occasion the food was of very poor quality we both had steak ,one fillet which was so small for the price being charged the other was a sirloin which was full of fat and tasteless, don't think i will be dining there again unless they change there meat supplier, the whole experience was absolutely terrible

The Christmas day meals are the worst I have ever seen 7of us went the 7 meals were rubbish

Breakfast very poor. Very overcrowded, 5min+ queue for the slow and solitary coffee machine. No croissants all morning. Cooked meats all tasted bad, bacon etc low quality.

We had a great time as a family together. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

Friendly staff but overall extremely slow. 3hrs free parking won't cover 3- courses. Food not worth the prices which is why discounts are always available.

Myself and my partner chose to call in for tea with our 8 year old on a rare occasion we have him without his brothers in tow. We hadn’t booked a table but got seated relatively quickly. Craig, our server, was fantastic! He was very quick to come get our drinks orders, came back for our dinner choices, made the little one laugh, was really friendly and lovely to be served by. Absolute credit to Broomside Park as I genuinely believe that the quality of the service you receive is half of the experience of eating out. Food was lovely, hot, fresh and served starters and mains within half hour, which I don’t feel was too much of a wait considering they were busy, it was a Friday night as we turned up with out booking. Craig seemed to be seating people, taking orders, bringing drinks, serving food and clearing tables on his own, the man never stopped! The service was fantastic from him and I think it says a lot considering he was doing everything single handedly. Will come back for food again, my son enjoyed his kiddies steak, the activity hat he was given to complete to keep him occupied and his favourite bit was his chocolate igloo. 😊

The staff gave our full football team a free 3 course meal and donated to our fundraiser with a voucher the staff and food was amazing cannot thank them enough for such a lovely evening staff go above and beyond nothing is too much hassle! we always choose here for breakfast as it’s also the best breakfast in the whole area and great value and kids eat free

The worst meal I’ve had for a very long time if not the worst ever. I don’t know where to start. Placed order and food took over an hour to arrive. Restaurant wasn’t full or busy at all. The table next to us, who arrived quite a while after us received both their starters and main courses before us which was annoying. Order was completely wrong, when it finally arrived on nearly every plate. My son ordered surf and turf and the prawns were missing. The calamari was over cooked in fact burnt. They had put scallops on the plate which was nice but wasn’t advertised. My son only ordered the Surf and Turf for the prawns! My gammon was missing the fried egg but the worst part was my gammon was cold. It had obviously sat there for a very long time. My youngest son’s burger came with some mayonnaise sauce which we had specifically asked if there was any sauce on and were told no. My Dads Ribs and chicken was such a measly portion and was so dry. The portion sizes were embarrassing and the chips were all undercooked. How can any restaurant get an order so wrong and serve such appalling food. I am questioning whether there was an actual chef in the kitchen! Obviously we did complain and it became embarrassing as the poor male server was mortified. In the end we just couldn’t keep sending it back. Not once did a Manager come over and apologise. The young male server did his best but this level of utter appalling food deserved a Manager. Every table near us complained about their food or drink being incorrect. The table next to us ordered 4 cokes of some sort and they even got this wrong! I thought Breakfast would be better as couldn’t have got any worse. I was so wrong. There were 3 of us and 2 breakfasts came incorrect even though she appeared to write them down. They were not complicated orders either. My son’s order of beans, bacon and sausage came without the bacon and the portion of beans was approximately a teaspoonful. Mine was missing the bacon also. When she brought it after complaining it was so under cooked that it was inedible. I dread to think what would have happened had we ordered more than 4 items! Staff that we encountered were excellent however and friendly and this was the only positive. Will never eat here or stay next door at the Premier Inn again after this experience. My Dad was taking us out for a special occasion and I felt so sorry that he paid his hard earned money for this unacceptable food.

Just had the worst meal ever.To begin no inch’s cider.ordered rump steak and a sirloin steak,No74 rub as it had never been stocked .medium.both came very rare.No tomato or mushroom on plate.complained to manager.she said to have food and drink free and disappeared.

We stayed at the nearby Premier Inn and booked in for dinner and breakfast for one day. When we arrived we went for dinner and were welcomed by a lovely team who were super friendly and helpful. We asked about Taxie’s and they advised us that the hotel had a phone connected to a firm however they also used uber. They had a great range of food and drinks and were very helpful when it came to ordering. The staff were all so polite and friendly. The next day we hadn’t planned to go in the Beefeater but because of the lovely atmosphere we did invite our friends to meet us there for a few drinks before heading out. We were welcomed back with smiles and asked about our day. Whenever we visit again we will definitely be coming back here!

Well on a Sunday i often treat myself to a lunch. Went nice and early as I always find the atmosphere in here nice and relaxing. The Lamb was lovely and tender,and portion size good. The service was quick and friendly. Just what was needed at the end of a week.

Went for Sunday dinner today.. everything was frozen, meat was stone cold, parsnip was raw. The waitress had to come back twice to confirm our order (basic dinners with 3 drinks). We overheard our waitress ask someone else how they would like their chicken breast cooked. Can’t believe they get custom for there Sunday dinners they are awful. Avoid.

Used to like this place really gone downhill. Service very slow every time. They always ask if you want fries or triple cooked chips ... The last twice we've been there they didn't bring what was asked for. I always add a fried egg or two when I have a steak, they might as well be boiled the last twice the yolks were that hard. It's a convenient location for us and the food is ok so when we need to go somewhere unplanned we will probably try again but wouldn't plan to visit deliberately anymore...Shame as it used to be very nice.

It's good, atmosphere is just right, but some of the food can be kind of bordering to be bad. The whole place just gives off 40 year old single drunken dad vibes, cool place tho, and cool workers, kinda would recommend

I went in for a coffee while waiting for my car to get repaired. It was a horrible, rainy day. The staff on shift were just finishing off after breakfast. They were pleasant & welcoming. Thankyou very much.

Was not impressed. Steak was grisly Drafty table No choice of dip for mushrooms. Ice cream rubbish bring back fudge sauce and paprika chicken!

Came for a meal 25th sept 24 and Absolutely fantastic food and we're served by Courtney and Michelle Absolutely 1st class customer service couldn't have asked for more. They are a credit to your company. Will definitely return soon infact booked for tomorrow and boxing day. We have only rebooted due to the service we received from the staff.

One of the worst meals we’ve ever had! The waiter greeted us in the most unwelcoming manner, no smile, no hello; threw down the menus on the table and then abruptly told us no chicken was available if we chose from the Sunday menu and walked off. The guests on the table beside us looked shocked at how we were treated. We almost walked out at that point without ordering a thing. We should have trusted our instincts and left when we had the chance. We ordered some ribs and steak. Big mistake! The ribs were dry, lacked flavour and a small pot of sad looking bbq sauce accompanied the dried up ribs. The steak sadly lacked flavour too! I make a better steak at home. Straws for the drinks were pitiful! They didn’t even touch the bottom of the glass. Halfway through the meal we decided enough was enough and we asked for the bill before we had even finished our meal. It’s fair to say we won’t ever be returning due to the utterly disappointing meal and experience. Some customer service training is much needed in this venue. Enter at your own risk!!

The team here are fantastic, so friendly and welcoming when we went in for breakfast and really went out of their way to help me after travelling home and leaving some lost property behind. We also had a really nice breakfast that was freshly cooked to order and all you can eat! Will definitely visit again when in the area.

We had a fantastic breakfast here before the Great North Run. The team couldn’t do enough for us and were very pleasant and welcoming. Food was cooked to order and all you can eat and there’s loads of choice. Would definitely recommend. Staff really did go above and beyond for us.

Been loads of times as a work lunch, menu changes several times over the last couple of years. Service always good for what it is. Food has varied but usual good for the price.

I regularly come here for breakfast with family or friends. Staff are lovely, friendly and always happy to help. Food is spot on and price is great too.

Went for breakfast last weekend with friends and as always it is fantastic. £10.99 for an all you can eat breakfast + 2 children under 15 eat free. You can't get that anywhere nowadays. Food is cooked fresh to order (poached eggs are great). Kids love it as pancakes, pastries and of course nutella. Unlimited teas and coffees. Service from staff is always fab, it is always busy but they always stop to say hi.

Great food, very good deal! Evening set: 2 courses (starter and main or main and dessert) plus a drink for only £17.99. I took Cheesy Potato Dippers as a starter, the chips were really good. I took Baconeater Burger for main, also really good, the french fries that came with it were ok. My friend took Caramel Apple Betty for dessert, it didn’t look good, but I tried and it was tasty. The place looks nice, has a nice garden, but unfortunately it was too cold for us (Yugoslavs) to sit outside. Will try it next time, hopefully.

Lovely Sunday lunch would recommend

Use Beefeater regularly, was in the area so pinged into Google for the nearest. Pleasant surroundings and easy parking like most others. As usual for beefeater the food was great but the service was so slow. I appreciate a Saturday night is always busy and the staff looked exhausted, but maybe they need more front of house staff if that's the case. Took ages to get drinks and even longer for the food. In the end we skipped desert for the kids meal as everything took so long. Would come again but not on a weekend evening.

Been here on a number of occasions and never been disappointed. Great range of options for food. I had steak on this visit which was cooked to perfection, Service spot on…staff are very professional and extremely helpful as well as being really polite. Would definitely recommend.

Nice clean pub. Decent menu choice. Not great in terms of service and knowledge of what was in stock etc. To cut a long story short I ended up having to make a different meal choice after being told one option was unavailable, only to then find out that my original choice was in fact available. No effort made by any staff to try to rectify this for me. Alternative choice in food that I made was a little underwhelming.

Went in for a family meal ( 2 adults 1 child ), my wife's order arrived wrong, my daughter's order turned up with missing items, also my order turned up with items missing. Food was just warm, they failed to rectify my wife's order ( not a happy wife ). Not worth the effort to come no wonder it's quite!!!

Went here for our teas last Friday. The food and drinks were fabulous, especially the sirloin steak. The quality of the sirloin steak was the best I've had and cooked to perfection. We were served by Craig who was very friendly and down to earth and made us all feel very comfortable. We will certainly return for food and drinks.

We have been several times now. The staff are great and there are excellent deals on the main meals if you are a loyalty member. Steak cooked to our liking. I was asked on entry about allergies and was given a sheet to look through. The Manager, Andrew was very helpful.

Visited on a Saturday evening. Shown straight to a table. Our server was Andrew, he was fantastic, lovely and friendly, attentive but not intrusive. Our food was really nice, plenty of vegan friendly dishes. Dessert was especially good and reasonably priced too.

Staff are outstandingly courteous and can’t do enough to make me feel at home whilst I’m working away for 2 weeks. Big thank you there’s a lot of restaurants that can learn something from you. 😊

Use to quite like it, but it has gone down hill lately, maybe because they are trying to sell it. There are not many staff and both my wife and I have found them rude. My wife order a vegan chicken cob salad and her friends ordered the normal chicken cob salad. When it arrived my wife questioned which one was vegan, the woman pointed at one and said " that one as it is smaller" My wife questioned again just to find out it was NOT vegan, lucky she did not eat it, all cob salads delivered to the table had real chicken on them. It was an upsetting experience and my wife and her friends will not be back.

I chose three courses which were well priced, potato dippers, beef beef burger and bacon. To finish three good scoops of ice cream. While the other had Salmon fillet with chips.

We stayed at the Premier Inn next door for a week and had their meal deal. The food was always hot and tasty. Most of the staff served us at some point but we were amazed at Craig's boundless energy. At breakfast Gamma was always cheerful and although they were often busy she had time for a chat. We would definitely use again if we go back to Durham and have told our friends about the place as they want to go to Beamish.

Only been a couple of times but the breakfast here is banging. One of my top breakfasts here.

10/10 experience. Stayed in the Premier Inn next door and went for unlimited breakfast and lunch. The food was perfect and all the staff went above and beyond (honourable mention to Courtney and Andrew for making the experience so much better). If you’re passing by the Durham area or staying in the premier inn hotel next door to it I can’t recommend this enough! Will definitely be going in the future!

the food was good and came out fast even though it was a busy night, the people working were great and made sure I had everything I needed. Also had live music which was great to see.
