Only went for a gig and loved it's quirkiness

Fantastic private venue for our sports club end of season awards. The team were really helpful in organising the event beforehand with communicating the options and plan. Then on the night superb service and food and very helpful staff, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening and are delighted to have found Brooklyn Social as a venue!! Thank you team!

Brilliant venue for our small sixth form party. Facilities were good, prime location. The staff were very welcoming and everyone felt safe with the security that was hired. Unfortunately the drinks at the bar were wayyyy too expensive and that caused the night to end sooner as people departed to other venues. If having a party would advise that you get your own DJ as their DJ found it hard to play the music we wanted - when we asked for house music, we had christmas music on that felt like we was at a primary school disco....a little disappointing overall. If you have the money it’s fine but not a great place for students

Good size portions, the veggie burger was excellent.

I ordered via Deliveroo for 2 people today. The fries (both normal and sweet potato fries) arrived cold and mushy. The cole slaw was full of (!!!) raisins. If there would’ve been a note in the menu I wouldn’t have ordered it because I can’t stand raisins. Next thing we ordered were the wings. You have 2 options in the menu: smoked BBQ sauce and spicy BBQ. Because I don’t like too spicy stuff I ordered smoked BBQ. Guess what I got.... So the only thing that we could enjoy out of our entire order was my boyfriends burger, which we shared because I was starving. £30 out of the window. Really disappointing experience.

Nice place to enjoy with your friends

First time visit to this restaurant. The food was good and there was a lot of it, however they closed the downstairs due to a private party upstairs. This meant that once we had finished our meal we couldn't purchase any more drinks for our part of six and we felt we had to leave. Due to this we won't be returning as we felt our custome wasn't good enough

Very good food and plenty of it, if you love your meat it's fantastic, BBQ rack of ribs, pulled pork, hot dogs, yummy basket of chips too. Love it.

The staff were very friendly and the menu looked good but that's it we ordered our food and it was cold but as we were in a hurry and far to polite to complain we are what we could and left. To be honest if the restaurantveas busy we would expect that but as we were the only people in we were a little disappointed

Platter meal for 2 - £38. 2 delicious burgers, mac'n'cheese, melt in your mouth ribs, crispy breaded chicken, tender bbq beef brisket and spicy wings. Great setting, choice of big booths or tables, friendly staff, cool decor. This place is like the ones I've tried in Brooklyn, would 100% recommend.

Food was pretty good but quite expensive.

Food was really good, had the meat platter for one and you get a lot of food but I'd say the price is about right. The other half shared this with me and we both had double cheese burgers, everything was amazing. The service on the other hand was that great, the menus were 'out dated' apparently, so we had to change our drink order a few times (very limited selection it seemed) and the person that served us didnt really seem to know what was on the menu or what anything came with. So was almost pot luck but the food that came out was very good. Would recommend for the food. Drink choices seemed very limited or maybe not given enough info. Nice place and friendly but misinformed service.

Room for hire upstairs for your party....

I came here for a Christmas party in December 2018. As a vegan, the name did presage a difficult experience, despite prior planning via the event organisers. We were about 50 people in total - perhaps plus or minus 10 - and the venue was too small for this. It got crowded and loud towards the end, although that is perhaps more a reflection on my preferences than anything else. Next, vegan food. Oh dear! A plate of fried stuff was presented to me: falafel balls, potato bake things, and other fried gubbins. It wasn't terrible but nothing else was provided to balance the fried platter. There's no excuse why plant-based sliders couldn't have been done in this day and age, for example. The whole thing smacked of laziness and no creativity. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place for social affairs or (vegan) dining. They have a great opportunity here to play on the Department of (Mock) Meat - and it's being wasted. Especially surprising in a student town where you want to be ahead of the curve on rising trends.

Amazing food, drinks and staff! We had amazing night with friends. Gonna be back soon!

Ordered the meat feast for one on Deliveroo with the pulled pork burger and after waiting almost two hours decided to ring up to check where it was, every attempt at calling the restaurant ended with my call being hung up on, would not order from again

Awesome food, great portion sizes and in the week usually pretty quiet.

Off peak service seems to suffer a little. Food is really good although the choice isn't too extensive and the price is high. Soft drinks all come from cans and £2.50 a can is hard to swallow when the take away next door charges 70p. Big hipster vibe but well worth a visit.

Excellent food but service a bit slow and think they wanted to close !

Had a party of 14 people, all food came at the same time and we got everything we ordered which is a feat in its self. To top it all the food was amazing the only reason it's not a five star rating is because there wasn't enough of it but it wasn't expensive either. Just the right amount to then have a belly full of beer on. Five star service though.

We went to go in and there was a paper note saying closed from 3-4.30 so we walked away and decided to come back. Walked in asked if they could serve a table of 6. Told by the single member of staff no I have been waiting for an agency chef who hasn't turned up so not until 6. Commented this should be advertised. And didn't even get a sorry. How ridiculous. Will not be returning!

Saturday night, 7pm. empty tables, not busy and couldn't accommodate 2 hungry people, for a quick meal!!!

The food is tasty and the visiting manager was very friendly. Only missing a star as the main meals do not include chips! We ordered as sides along with some other bits. The portion sizes are quite big! Overall a very pleasant experience.

Forgot a load of stuff we ordered and completely messed up our receipt so we nearly paid over £60 extra

Great place to use as a venue for functions and parties and also for a quick bite to eat. The food is fairly nice and greatly priced and the staff are lovely.

Was accused of being 'a mob' for looking after drunken friend and making sure he got home safely whilst me personally was completely sober. Rest of the staff were lovely and venue was great, just complete shame the one older woman (who's name I unfortunately didn't catch) had to let it all down.

The food here is excellent, plenty of it and all quality meat used. I would highly recommend it and its so much better than Coast to Coast in every way.
