Staff were nice and friendly but food was terrible, poor selection and quality. The decor is pretty tired too, pretty grubby carpets and feels like it should have shut a while ago.

All you can eat Continental + Full English. Including unlimited drinks all for £11. Good standard.

Upon arriving with a group of 10, we were disappointed to learn that we could not dine in as we hadn't made a reservation. While I understand the importance of reservations, the restaurant was not busy at the time, and it seemed feasible to accommodate our group without prior notice. The interaction with your staff left much to be desired in terms of customer service. The response we received felt dismissive, and it left us feeling unwelcome. As someone who enjoys dining out and supporting local businesses, it's disheartening to encounter such obstacles.

It was ok I enjoyed the burger I had. it was ok not too bad the chips were hard to eat I will say 😊 the dessert was delicious I had a chocolate brownie and it was really nice with the ice-cream. The man who took our order was lovely and he even did a magic trick for my family which was sweet 😊 I will say the bathroom were hard to find tho but that's all really I enjoyed it

Debbie in the Beefeater in Bristol (Haymarket) was fab with us whilst being run off her feet due to a busy and chaotic night of Cheltenham punters! Well done Debbie and Team. Food was great too!

The table was not ready for us we had to wait 15 minutes. Are drink order took 1/2 to arrive, missing water that ordered for my mum to take medication. The mealtook an hour to arrive, one meal was missing which took another 1/4 to arrive. Some meals were burnt. We never had any service to order more drinks or dessert. When we ask for the bill it took ages to arrive. We were overcharged for a meal we didn't have. We were celebrating are parents anniversary which was completely ruined. Overall experience was bad.

The wait time was shocking. Ordered a drink at the start but took 30 mins just to bring them. And the food took a very long time. Even though the restaurant was empty. The burger was burnt, and barely had sauce. Not the best place I’ve eaten at.

Nice place to eat. The lady was ok. I wish we were served by the man because he was really nice and had good customer service where as the lady could be a bit abrupt sometimes. Overall, I would return (hopefully I won't have the lady) Pre birthday meal with my fam 💕

Stayed at the Premier Inn. Paid for the breakfast at the Beefeater. Food was hot, service was great, plenty of seats, and staff were friendly.

I've been to this beefeater many times for breakfast and usually the manger at the time (Natalie) I think, has always been amazing, great customer service and very polite and friendly, which you would expect. Sadly, went today 3rd of Feb 2024, I had a booking but was told I wasn't booked in, which is fine, as I am a paying customer and not from the hotel I expected to have a table as it was not busy, breakfast is served till 11am I went in at 10.10am, I was then told that no more food would be cooked and have the leftovers basically. The manager and the one of the front staff (front staff female had loads of tattoos on her arms) just a description of her. She was rude, no sense of customer service and looked like she hated her job and definitely the customers, she really thought she was above everyone, Evan though she was just the waitress not the manager, she really should not be customer facing as she let's beefeater down. Never will return again, due to the disrespectful staff

Rock hard peas, service slow, hot food but was so slow service the place was practically empty too

I always had only breakfast here. For the first time I stopped for dinner. Debbie was very sweet. She gave me a cozy corner. I could settle in well with all my bags and stuffs. I was not hungry and wanted something light. She took me through the menu. I had a nice dinner, calorie fit, tasty one. She even suggested what sides suite best. Thank you for a lovely experience

This my second review for this place! We returned to Bristol over Christmas and we decided to pop in. It was so busy but George remembered us food was great service was outstanding

The worst meal I have ever had . Pate lots of it but one small piece of bread !! Christmas dinner veg rock hard stuffing tasteless just thrown on a plate . Apple pie obviously warmed in microwave pastry was soggy and tasted raw . Cheese board was some chunks of cheese thrownon a white oven dish . No till at the bar so had to walk across the pub to pay . One elderly waitress that was run off her feet .. I was so disappointed there was no Christmas atmosphere

Absolutely disgusting - one of three people in there and the service made it seem like serving us was a burden. Ordered lasagne - tasted disgusting. Really disappointed.

Debbie and George were both wonderful, got us a little table and did an excellent job serving us dinner and dessert. The food was great too and there's a lovely atmosphere, busy, but not noisy. Music was at a comfortable background level.

Waited for awhile to be seated and then ordered a medium ribeye with some chips. The mushroom on the side was burnt like a charcoal and the steak was overcooked even tho I asked for a medium. Wouldn’t recommend.

Whilst the staff were friendly and apologetic it was a very strange experience. Even though the restaurant was very quiet, with plenty of tables available, and the bar area was completely empty they insisted on seating me in this weird and horrible part of the restaurant because I was "only ordering a drink" - see pictured. The explanation was that they would be busy later and that they didn't have enough staff for the bar area. I was charged £3.50 for a coke which is also quite a premium price. Therefore, based upon this experience, I cannot recommend the Bristol Fashion Beefeater.

Myself and my daughter both ate here last night I just wanted to say the staff 2 guys and a lady were amazing and the food was fantastic However there was a incident while we were there where a young child decided to start throwing cutlery I Myself got hit on the foot by a knife and a fork just missed my daughters face landing on the table infront of her The mother and grandmother didn't say a word or tell the child to stop or apologise to us or anyone else in the restaurant. Which we thought was utterly disgusting Instead the mother decided to shout out look at everyone staring at him / us now I'd like to say your staff were amazing with trying to deal with such a awkward situation And couldnt apologise enough . Also moving the family away from anyone else in the restaurant The small child also decided to unwrap a present that was on your Xmas display And the adults didn't tell him off actually the gran was encouraging him to unwrap the item I would just like to say a massive thank you to the 3 staff they were fantastic I didn't catch all the names but know one was called George Thanks again your doing a fantastic job D burgess

Today we met a lovely lady after having a dine in experiwnce a few years ago that introduced us to Beefeater. The lady was talking to everyone as if she'd known them for years, including us. Beefeater you need to clone her ASAP and ensure she introduces others to customer service. Service was brilliant and the food, just as we've always enjoyed. Will definitely return.

The place had all the premier inn items, was really large, so didn't feel like you were squished. The floors and surfaces were sticky when touched. Not sure didn't feel like a hotel experience.

Food wasn't too bad had better had worse. I did write a review covering beefeater added on from my Premier Inn one. We had 2 breakfast a lunch and drinks on the Saturday night which we then some added starter because got a little peckish. 1st breakfast wasn't great food had been out so hot food wasnt its best, 2nd morning was much better. Lunch had when I arrived at hotel because I was a bit hungry from travelling, food was ok but was keen that had to order 2 courses but all good. In all this time we felt welcomed and staff were friendly to us however: Drinks on the Saturday night because they had a cocktail menu thought be good to try it. 1st ones 2 for £10 we asked just before 8pm and offer was between 5pmand 8pm and was told we were too late. We had difficulty getting an available member of staff so felt a little cheated. Anyway ordered different drinks, the lady who served us didn't know how to mix drinks and wasn't very helpful. We asked for another drink when finished and was sternly told to wait, she then passed someone else on to us, didn't mind because he was very helpful and had no issues with any drinks or food we had. When we went to pay bill the original lady came and sorted and because of her attitude I refused to tip and was a little upset because we waned to tip other person for good service. Drinks were lovely. Just upsetting 1 bad apple ruined evening. Otherwise all good.

Visited on a Tuesday night so quite quiet. Food was good and fairly priced on the set menu. What set the meal apart was the service - the staff were on point and exceptionally friendly. We had our 4 kids with us and they bent over backwards to accommodate our requests (Mark also did some magic which the kids loved). Well done to the serving team!

Only went for breakfast, tenner all you can eat, which is reasonable pricing. Food good enough if hungry. Staff were friendly and efficient. Recommend if you need a huge breakfast before sightseeing or going on the piss in Bristol.

Flatbread very expensive for £4.99 but food excellent

The quality of the food here is not the best. It's hot when it arrives but the quality of the ingredients seems to be below average for the price of it and the taste of not the best. The service is really good and the atmosphere of the place is decent.

We stayed at Premierin and had breakfast here. Good number of choices, and we had a nice breakfast with family. Hot breakfast could have served at the table. It was a small counter for the buffet. Restaurant is quite big, so kids were able to pick what they want and wander. Overall, we had a good time but could have been better on the hot food section.

Amazing staff! The lady (didnt get her name, but ran it all on her own) at front of house and serving was so happy to assist she seemed to really love her job! We had a concert and she got our food sorted quickly! Advised us on transport too. Beef Eater are lucky to have her! Following morning for breakfast just as nice! Well done 👏

Didn't even go in but a staff member was rude, I was sat outside on a step when he came out and said it a fire exit, how is it fire exit when it's a step, if your calling that a fire exit that dangerous, you need to talk to your staff cuz you've lost a customer, I was sat there as I have bad legs and I have autism and he's really upset me

I'm not satisfied, we ordered a steak that costs 22£ on the plate, there was only one tomato, mushroom and potatoes, and grill vegetables more 5£ the salt shaker was broken, the table was also broken..poor!

We both enjoyed a very good ribeye steak cooked to how we like it.

First visit Staff polite and friendly. Fish and chips was good and good value. Second visit Terrible. Had to ask for the specials menu. Table was dirty, items missing from menu before five o'clock. Main course put on the table as I'm still eating my starter. The starter was poor and the main was tiny, ended up later going to Tesco Express Cleaning items left on the bar next to the beer pumps. Never eating in here again. Also customers with children, take them to MacDonald 's so they can climb and run around there. Also staff don't test out your cleaning spray as you walk past my table. Did originally give this a four star rating for the visit the first time. Have downgraded because of the second visit.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. To quickly summarise my review/tale below, there are just so many better and cheaper places available nearby, while this only manages to stay open because of the Premier Inn connected to it. Anyway, on to the story. After checking-out of the hotel, I went in here at around 15:30 to sort my bags out a bit and perhaps order a drink whilst I waited an hour for my coach home. There were maybe 3 people eating in there at the time, so I was immediately approached by a waitress. Even though the restaurant was clearly open, I was very quickly told I absolutely could not be in here to wait and needed to stay in the hotel reception area, which was completely full at the time. Not wanting to cause trouble, I quickly closed my bag and left, while the staff stood waiting like a pair of vultures. Very strange, considering the hotel owns the restaurant. Luckily, the Brewers Fayre connected to the Premier Inn just down the road didn't seem to mind, and also had far more people sat in it, which is why I thought that this one would also be okay in the first place. So yeah, won't be bothering here ever. Not sure why you would visit a city and then choose to eat at a chain-restaurant anyway to be honest, unless you have allergies or something. At best it will just be the same as all the other Beefeaters dotted around, and based on other reviews it seems much worse.

Food was ok for the price even though they ran out of parts of our meal which they only told us about as they brought it out to us. Was made to feel extremely unwelcome by the female server there had a vile attitude which pretty much ruined our time there. Had a permanent scowl on her face and pretty much slammed our plates down when she came over. We asked for some cocktails and was rudely told to give her a minute, it’s not as if we were expecting her to suddenly produce them just wanted to put the order in and was happy to wait. Only one nice waiter there who looked a bit embarrassed came to ask us what drinks we wanted. Definitely won’t be going there again was a massive disappointment.

We had their breakfast. There are 2 options: all you can eat cooked or all you can eat continental breakfast. Good selction of food for both, cooked and continental one. Coffee is the reason they have lost 1 star: the machine was dispensing something that didn't even smell of coffee....! Such a pity. Staff not the friendliest, but ok. Price was really good (9.99£ for cooked all you can eat breakfast).

0 star if I could, terrible service a very rude member of staff only 3 items of the menu was available at 8:30pm Lasagne was cold though the middle and bottom we was refused a new one or to be warmed up didn’t eat anything in the end no had to get a refund and a refund for the breakfast we already paid for as after dinner service being disappointing and disgusting we wasn’t going to have breakfast just to get the same service and horrible food

Very rude and unwelcoming atmosphere! Told there was an invasion of welsh people so we couldn’t have food ( we are welsh people) we were complained at for ordering cocktails during happy hour! My husband and I visited on a Monday evening after dropping our daughter at a gig. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. We ordered the 3 course meal each for a very reasonable price and the food did not disappoint. We didn't feel rushed to eat and we felt looked after. We will definitely be makng a return visit..

Se had a lovely meal thé server was great and vert accomdating as i had allergieis . i knocked a star frlm thé food as many items on thé set menu were mot available however what was ordered was really Nice. Thé drinks were good. It met my expectations for thé price we paid a Nice evening overall.

A lady who works there came up to my friend and I and said we needed ID to enter and that it was common knowledge. All we wanted to do was eat a roast but apparently we needed ID to do that. When we booked the meal it didn’t say anything about bringing ID. She was very rude and condescending not professional at all don’t go here👍

It's competent at best. Nothing actively offensive and really, for a tenner, the two courses day time menu can't really be complained about. You'd only visit for convenience, handy for being in the area for a meeting and it's raining, not really a destination to travel to.

We had a fantastic meal here on 5.11.22, after going to a matinee at the Theatre. Three of us had rib-eye steaks another had ribs. The steaks were cooked perfectly and were really tasty. Ribs were lovely and tender. All the food was hot. There was a bit of a mix up with the type of chips ordered by each person but it was sorted quickly. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend the mocktails, they had no flavour. The manager was very apologetic about their quality and she refunded them. All the staff were really efficient, polite and friendly, they really made an effort. Big thank you to the chef that knows how to cook a steak medium rare, as 9 times out of 10 I find mine is overcooked but this was one of the best steaks I've had.

Really wasn’t happy with the service. Made a note on the reservation that it was the girlfriends birthday today and also mentioned it to the waiter when walking in (which he said yeah of course he will), All I asked for them to say happy birthday, but nothing.. The steak was chewy. They gave me normal chips instead of sweet potato. They forgot the peppercorn sauce. Really bad experience and so upset I spent my money here. Should have taken my lady to McDonals for better service..

Stayed one night at premier inn with children. Had issues with our half priced burgers on week night had to be refunded the difference. The burgers were Macdonald’s size nothing special glad it was half price not £15. Ordered nachos for kids x2 as mains a (share for 2 starter.) Barely any nachos on plate. The restaurant needs a good clean and carpets are vile, left my shoes sticky. Won’t go here again.

Speedy & friendly service one evening; not so much on the preceding evening. Food ok, too much of a faff with explanation of 'meal deal' cans and can't. Avoid meal deal bookings if possible. Aside from just breakfast which is fine and quick if you are on business. Change the carpets throughout- at least. PS most of my reviews are of the positive nature; take review accordingly 😉

Had the mixed grill which was really nice and forfillin but the butter milk chicken gouens need some work not very Appetizing and very bland on the plate

For the cost of the meals, it was disappointing to learn that the restaurant had run out of mustard and mayonnaise. Pretty poor.

After sitting down at our pre-booked table I kindly asked the manager for a children's menu as I wasn't that hungry & have been through the procedure of a gastric band. She then refused as I wasn't a child. I felt so belittled I wanted to complain straight away. Whitbread needs to train there managers to be more civilised to customers, bring a smile to the table & have manors. Apart from that our server was amazing & extreamily hard working. food was ok but the prices now are astronomical. Would I recommend? yes only if you had a BOGOF voucher. Would I return? Not to the haymarket beefeater.

4/4/22 evening.Called in with the family after a meal out whilst visiting Bristol to have coffee and dessert. The lad with the two earrings who greeted us was very polite and friendly as was the guy who served us. Desserts were lovely and topped with a sprig of fresh mint- a nice touch.

Was given a complimentary breakfast because there was an issue with my check in. Staff couldn’t be more helpful, I was well looked after. Have had lunch and dinner here and would definitely have breakfast here again. Plenty to choose from. Went in early to avoid cues and to get food while it’s still hot.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Where do I start. So check out the photo this was the poor excuse of an xlarge roast dinner without peas due to allergy which they at first gave me a plate full of and then had to go back and make a new order so the rest of my family had already got their food at this point. It was my birthday and the female server had given me a foul attitude when confronted as she took my order with no peas and it came with peas some joke. Was very snappy with me and ruined the whole mood of my evening. Ide waited 2 weeks for my birthday meal due to it being shut on my actual birthday and thought their quality of food was great sadly I was wrong. I paid £18 for this which was a joke and was told to contact online customer services if was unhappy and wanted a refund I did this and they said the staff in the resturant had to do that and refused a refund so they lied to me when I was there and then could do nothing about it. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. Go to the brewers fayre next door much better for money staff kindness and quality. Hope this helps. Oh and the chicken wasn't included it was part of my sons meal but he's only 3 and his portion was for twice his age bloody shame mine wasn't!!!!!
