An amazing evening. The food was presented beautifully, each course explained and every one burst with flavour and surprises. The staff were very attentive and friendly and we enjoyed our chat with chef. . Yes it is small but for us that added to the atmosphere. We were also very grateful that when we had to cancel at the last minute due to an accident en route the previous week they were more than happy to refund our deposit despite the short notice. The name says it all. First time here, and I'm impressed. Great value, great food. Can't fault any part of it. Popular too, given how many people came in after us. Brilliant

We recently had our wedding evening reception at The Royal Oak and absolutely recommend. Liam and Alex went above and beyond leading up to and on the day. They were able to make everything we wanted happen, provided amazing food, bespoke decorations and drinks and made space for a dance floor! 100% recommend for a drink, bite or an event.
