Bridport Kebab House in West Dorset

It was disgusting the meat was pale and didn't taste nice the salad was basically a whole onion chopped up and had a tiny blob of sauce under the meat if you can call that meat was so disappointed as it was our monthly treat to have a takeaway I couldn't eat it had to throw it out and the prices have gone up shame it used to be great in there never going again

Always good, reliable tasty kebabs. Quick service, good sized portions too. Not the cheapest, but good quality. I'll definitely return.

£9.90 for Doner meat and chips, and you don't even get a full bottom layer of chips. overpriced and underportioned, food was decent, but definitely not worth the price tag. No wonder your quiet on a Saturday night.

How sad that a kebab can’t contain the basic components…my kebab consisted of doner meat and lettuce! Other places you see, lettuce, cabbage, tomato, cucumber, red onion…endless! What a shambles! Poor, up your game and stop preying on drunks

Meat was just OK, no lettuce in salad, chilli sauce nondescript but biggest problem was the pitta which I believe was stale.

Great service as always, yummy food every time! Chefs special kebab is delicious every time, quick and easy service, you can even ring beforehand to place your order!

Have been buying takeaways from here for decades and the kebabs are superb. And no, I'm not drunk when I buy them! But, they only offer chips (huge portions) whereas back in the day when they first opened you could have rice with your kebab which I much preferred. Wish they still offered that.

Nice and Fresh. They look very busy in the evening. So we had our quick lunch before driving further east. Great fresh Salad. Thank you

It's a kebab house OK? Don't expect fine dining. It caters for hungry drinkers at midnight. Having said that, the food is freshly cooked, the staff are attentive. They have been here for at least 25 years and I have never heard a complaint about any of the food. Beware of the chilli sauce though. Crazy hot.

My first visit for a number of years, and still excellent. We had the doner and chicken kebabs with chips, food hot and tasty, the place is clean and friendly. Recommended.

They have great staff and great food. If you ever happen to find yourself in the Bridport area I would recommend.

More commonly known as Ali’s in Bridport, this kebabi has always been the reliable and welcoming end to a night out. Cheap and cheerful so you really cant complain, and even though they get so many customers through their doors they still remember what I want as soon as I come in. As a veggie I can only say about the cheesy chips, which I find satisfying enough topped with garlic mayo. They also always have good spirits and good banter even when there’s drunk people misbehaving.

Called in here with the munchies after some beers. No one else in the shop. Had donner meat n chips. All ok and hit the spot. Would use again

If you are in the area and need a quick bite to eat you can not beat a Kebab from Bridport Kebab House. The service is so friendly and the kebabs are lovely.

Friendly attentive staff. Good food.Well cooked. Salad is fresh & crisp. Always a decent amount of meat ratio to salad UNLESS the boss is in & then he cuts back on meat portions. The Pitta bread is honestly like saw dust.It is cooked to an inch of it's life. It is so hard & unapeeling,if you frisbeed it you could knock someone clean out! We just dont eat the pitta. Go across the rd & buy a pack of fresh pitta from the Spa & you will have one juicy tasty Kebab. Fries are delicious as is their veggie kebab. Not sure if it is Halal or not??Nothing up to suggest it is. Hope not. We believe in humain treatment of animals.

I viseted there everytime when i visit uk. The take away is clean and very similar to Turkey about the taste of kebap.

A doner kebab, although pretty tasty at the time; left me feeling really bad the next day. Literally felt like had a few pints of strong, dodgy beer. Unsure if due to high salt; or something else.

its pretty good I like it because they have my favourite kind of chips but I don't like their chips, sometimes I like th order the biggest kebab I can find but then I throw up so I odnt eat it anymire. I wish I could buy the building and convert Into a kebab museum thank you bye.

Ordered x3 kebabs and a cheese burger. After a long wait..Asked for extra peppers in all kebabs, got home received none in any. Actual amount of meat in every kebab was sparse.. more salad and onion than meat! Burger dry and tasteless Very disappointing.

Had a late night snack, cheesy chips were good. However had a veg Pitta which was very strange. Random spicy mushrooms on salad. The pitta bread was randomly on top.

Very nice mixed Kebab.... Plenty and good value for money... Only negative re fried fries.... Not nice.... Really friendly staff though.

A popular outlet near the centre of town. All food cooked to order. Never had a bad meal here. The chilli sauce is nuclear.

I came to the Bridport Kebab house after a night on the town with some of the chaps from my old squadron. I've never eaten a kebab before as I don't eat foreign food or been to an eating establishment that doesn't print it's menu on paper or have a wine list. I was most surprised to find that there is no seating or cutlery. Cairstairs ordered for me as I though it best an experienced hand pick the dish for my first experience of street food. Turns out the old boy stitched my right up as it was most certainly the hottest food I have ever eaten. I should have known as Carstairs was always one for horseplay. I'm sure that the two bottles of red that we had consumed in the nearby conservative club helped my along with eating the entire plateful. Although it was served in a foam box not on a plate which I though gave the meal a certain working class charm. It was a good thing I enjoyed it as it was all I could taste for the next three days. On the basis that I now enjoy kebabs I've just booked a three week holiday to Turkey.

Acabo de descubrir este 'comida rápida 'kebab house. Nunca pensé de conseguir llevar desde allí, pero se sugirió recientemente y resultó ser un hallazgo genial. Intentando comer sano pude conseguir algunos deliciosos kebabs de cordero, arroz y ensalada. Un plato sencillo, barato, rápido y sabroso. Generosas porciones - les recomiendo.

This is a amazing take away, the staff in there are amazing and so friendly the food it gorgeous and I am a fussy eater. The food is good priced and always value for money.

Went whilst on holiday in bridport and both my Donna kebab and my other half's chicken kebab was very very tasty with average portions. Would recommend

Not being a burger lover I can honestly say that I do like the ones from Bridport kebab House....my son can vouch for the excellent chicken kebabs as well....really loaded with meat and salad.....great for a quick meal when arriving late in Bridport

Pretty good quick takeaway ~ not for regular dining but good for now & then. Staff lovely as ever & food good. Never had a bad one from them in many years. Keep up the good work guys :)

Good food the chilli sauce is a winner and definitely the hottest I've had for a long time.The staff were friendly and the food was cooked fresh while we waited.

all ways get what I ask for, large portions, hot , salad fresh, chilli sauce ouch my favourite , garlic sauce also very nice, staff all very pleasent.

Bought doner meat and chips and then afterwards had awful stomach ache and I was left ill with food poisoning. Also my friends who ate the doner meat the same night were left with the same feeling I had. Such a shame as the staff are really friendly but the food has let me down

Bridport kebab house serves probably the best kebabs ever! plenty of choice everthing cooked fresh and friendly staff. all around great

Always the staff are fab, whether it be a late night kebab after a few drinks or picking up a meal for the family to take home. Tasty choice, cooked to order.

All food is fresh and expertly prepared. The lads who serve put up with all sorts but handle it with good humour.

They do some very good burgers and kebabs much better than you get from some other big name companies. Staff are good and accommodating

This is a takeaway located in the centre of town selling kebabs, etc. The Turkish staff are friendly and hard working. Food is fresh and tasty. The chilli sauce is as hot as anything I have tasted and needs to be treated with extreme caution. No ill effects from anything bought here. They have 5 star enviro-score. A great takeaway. Try their sister shop, Chickenland at the other end of town too. Pizzas are superb.

I'm a bit of a regular - and have been for a few years. Kebabs are superb - the mixed one is delicious. Can also recommend the burgers and pizzas - also the chips are excellent too. No nonsense place , very clean.
