Lovely fish but you need 2 they very small

Disappointing ordered fish butty, tasted half done and soggy won't be coming back. Shame was decent chippy a long time ago before new owners.

My friend and I went here a few months ago and the fish and chips were amazing. The staff can’t do enough for you and are really friendly. Will definitely be going back.

Absolutely still the best Fish and Chip shop in the area. Fish Superb and tried the Stornoway Black pudding in batter, say no more the black pudding was as good as it gets, nice 61st Birthday treat for me, will be having many more of the same before the 62nd birthday.

Called in here with mum after visiting dad in hospital, picked up the fish bite meal deal, lovely fish and chips, just the right size meal at an excellent price. We both really enjoyed them (mum loved the curry) Would definitely recommend 😊

I am very particular about my fish and chips. The fish should be good quality haddock and it should be fried in beef dripping. Not only that, but the making of the batter is in art form in itself and poor quality batter can ruin otherwise good fish and chips. Fortunately, this fish shop ticks all the boxes. The fish is top quality and fried to perfection. I like mine well done and the proprietor is quite happy to cook it just as I like it. If you have not visited this shop before, give it a try and you will not be disappointed.

Hands down best Chippy I’ve ever had!! I had fish, chips and curry sauce and they were cooked to perfection. Big portions too which I’d usually struggle to eat however it tasted so good that I just had to finish them all…then lay on the sofa for the evening unable to move 😂 Even though it’s not in my local village, this will definitely be my go-to Chippy from now on!

After reading reviews and looking for a quick and tasty supper as we'd travelled 3 hours from Nottingham, we just had to try here!!! We certainly wasn't disappointed, from the warm, friendly welcome to the absolutely delicious haddock and chips. The price was the icing on the cake. The fish was melt in the mouth, the scraps were so tasty, and the chips were perfect, oxo gravy just made the chips! Thank you for a delicious meal. Keep up the good work.

I placed an order through TooGoodToGo to collect at 19:00. When I arrived the shop had cancelled the order by email just 24 MINUTES earlier but I didn't see it as I was en-route driving. (The terms and conditons state that they may cancel UP TO " HOURS BEFORE COLLECTION TIME). A wasted journey of around 12 miles. Thanks a lot. This is disgusting customer service. Fortunately I managed to get to Eastburn Fisheries just before they closed. Not only was the quality superb but they gave me an extra fish at no extra charge. When considering customer service there is no comparison betwent the two. Very bad experience Bridge End. I will not use you again and I urge anyone who values good customer service to look elsewhere. A complaint is also ongoing with Toogoodtogo as they have broken their T&C's

Visited this chip shop today for lunch whilst working in the area. What can I say! The fish just fell apart and tasted great. The chips were amazing having being cooked in beef dripping ie properly. Then there was the black pudding that I had to try. Simply gorgeous! All in all one of the best chip shops I’ve been to in a long time!👍👍👍😁

My husband and me tried the black pudding, we highly recommend it, even if you don't think you like black pudding please try it, it's not like the one you get on a full English 😋

Just had a portion of chips found them disgusting warm ups they were cold and had a lot of scrappy chips. Call them self a chippy a would call them a ripp off will not use them again.

I no it’s COVID one person in and one out. This place needs too be pro active on several visits long queue the girl on the front works hard. I waited 40 minutes to be served when I left must be another 12 in the que I observed four people in there. Why not get one of your staff to take orders outside. Then food would be ready. The owner needs to look at the service he is providing. Nil service. I for one won’t use the place again.

The Fish and chips were just scrummy and deserve a 5 . First time I've been back since it was taken over, and it was great to see nothing had changed. Still the best around this area . I would have rated 5 except they don't take card payments , and I wasn't keen on the curry sauce.

I love this fish shop the staff are really friendly. The fish is the best I’ve had very tasty and a good size. I would definitely recommend to go. Also nice to see they had got into the festive cheer with their decorations.

The portions are large and cause food waste in our case and we are greedy. Fish was amazingly tasty with golden brown batter (not quite cooked through.) Tip (not complaint) if it's fish and chips and customer requests salt and vinegar which staff have to do due to covid please lift up the fish and season the chips too, and would like serving staff to wear mask as you breathe directly over the food when wrapping.we really enjoyed this meal, and lovely staff too. Shop is spotlessly clean and a pleasant experience but be warned its cash only. Definitely be back xx

The best. Before you're even 20 yards away you can smell that delicious smell, and when you've got your order, you know you're eating quality. When fish and chips are done right, they are a thing of beauty.

The fish and chip shop is run by a local couple. There is no restaurant but one thing for certain there is always a queue. So that tells you what you need to know. I always go for a small portion of chips as a large is to much The fish and chips are good quality but like everything they have gone up in price. Gone are the days when fish and chips was a cheap meal. But these are no more expensive than others to be found locally

Worst chip shop around ! Everyone at school looks forward to getting some chips at lunch whereas I can’t due to the fact that they can’t do a basic thing such as cook in VEG OIL !!! I recommend going to trawlermans fish and chip shop down the road on the round about !
