The best chippy in Skegness! Tastes different to others in a good way always fresh and tasty! I’ve tried every fish and chip shop around this ones the best one for sure

lived in skegness 3 mile away for many years and plenty of decent chippys,moved to croft near bridge chippy as only 1 there,soooo happy i did,best i have ever had large fish cooked perfect and the staff are so friendly while you wait for your fish to be fresh cooked,i thought it was a 1 off so i returned and same again,roll on weekend for my chippy treat,my husband feels the same so must be good,please give it a go skeggy lot,worth the extra mile

Visited this chippie for the first time what a pleasure to visit and eat from this establishment. Customer service was fantastic from a visitors to the area perspective visiting this area we would recommend a visit we had fish and chips and sausage and chips with scraps as they say down here wow fantastic. Will be visiting next week as visiting area for a week Highly recommended three ladies behind counter were pleasant verbally interactive great to see this . Made an error with my order but they rectified this ASAP by giving me a sausage free of charge well done to all staff. If we lived locally we would be weekly visitors

2 of us had cod chips and mushy peas Cooked fresh the pieces of fish were huge and the portion of chips was quite large as well My friend couldnt eat all hers so it was taken home to eat the next day They only do one size so if u are not a big eater then be cautious...ok for sharing though Only negative was the cost but its the way of the world in which we now live. Worth the £9 though

Called in after a trip to collect grandson from Lincoln. He fancied fish and chips Can honestly say, best I've had in a long time. I had sausage chips and the gravey was amazing. Will definitely be calling again

Must say as a Fish and chip fryer myself for over twenty years,I would highly recmend this busy little chippy,no pretentious stuff, just excellently cooked cod and chips with home made mushy peas,all on point with the ratio of batter spot on nice and crispy no soggy bottoms here.good service and very reasonably priced. Top marks from me.

Great place to call for fish and chips. We had a selection of different meals including cod, sausage and kebab meat, with curry sauce, peas. They were all delicious. The chips are proper tasting seaside chips. All freshly cooked. The food comes in individual boxes which makes it easy to eat out of. The portion sizes were plenty and we were all struggling to finish them off. We will definitely be coming back next time we’re at our caravan. Thumbs up from us!

My wife and I just had fish and chips from here for the first time. We had read a few of the reviews which I have to say did not speak honestly. Both my wife’s and mine were well battered and well cooked and very tasty fish and chips. We are planning to go again on Friday.

Probably just about edible. Ordered cod for me and my gf, was possibly the worst cod I have ever had in my life!.. Cod is supposed to be firm and tasty and this nonsense was just bland mush that didn't taste of anything! The batter was only half cooked too, so we threw most of it in the bin!!.. The curry sauce was ok though!... Please avoid!!

We had cod, chips & peas. Most of it went in the bin. The chips were soggy, the batter on the fish was thick & raw inside. But worse of all was the amount of oil that they were swimming in. If you look at Google reviews you'll see other people have had the same, but the chippy hasn't took any notice and continue to serve horrid food.

We can't wait to get to the Bridge Chippie very time we are in Burgh le Marsh. All our visitors love it too. Absolutely delicious and generous servings - all cooked in Beef Dripping! Yummie!!

Family of 5 for visited on good Friday. Found the chips to be anaemic looking. The fish batter wasn’t great, may be personal preference, but found it to be soggy.

A good standard fish and chip. Very reasonable prices and extensive selection. Good to find spam and pineapple fritters!, freshly cooked. Great chips as well along with free bits.

Just been here to get fish & chips , noticed an odd smell of anomia when eating it , after googling it , it’s a sign of the fish not being fresh and decomposing , will not be back . The staff were friendly thou .

Food was cooked fresh so was piping hot. The chips actually tasted ok. The fish looked promising - whilst quite a small portion the batter looked crispy. However on cutting into it, there was a thick layer of stodgy uncooked batter, making it virtually inedible. Once that had been scraped off, the batter was very bland and greasy. The fish itself flaked nicely and tasted good.

This used to be a fantastic chip shop, but after today's awful experience we won't be coming back this place must be under new management, take my advice and go just a few miles further and get proper size fish and chips that are not covered in hard.its of God knows what, the best thing on the plate was the mushy peas, and made them myself, please please avoid,

Yes it’s a chippy but this is as close to a religious experience as it gets. We’d been recommended this place by a friend that lives in Skegness and if someone that lives in a place with more chippies than car parking spaces you listen. A simple meal of Cod, Chips and peas with the crispiest fish I’ve ever had. The cod inside was dense and firm and cooked to perfection. I literally could not find fault with the food and got a shade over £6 for the meal it was superb value too.

Every time we went past there was a queue outside this chip shop. we only had chips so can't comment on the fish or other items but they were very good and it clearly had a good enough reputation to keep it busy

We had 2 chicken and donner mixed kebabs and chips, absolutely unreal! Not a drop of grease on them! The chicken was so tasty and juicy.. we even had a little bit left which we ate cold in the morning and it was still so...
