We had breakfast here twice over four days, both times the food and staff were amazing. The main reason we went here first was it’s selection of Gluten Free options. There are some quirky dishes on the menu but I must say they work and the food is too draw. The staff are amazing and extremely helpful. A must if you are in or around Streatham. Their coffees and also very good. They do a turmeric and cinnamon coffee, which is so nice and great if you have a cold.

My sister and I had a coffee at Brickwood on a Saturday morning. I’d say that I would be fine to have food here in future but if I’m going for just coffee, I probably would prefer a quieter cafe rather than being in the market. The food I saw looked amazing though and nice buzz about the place. Prices I think probably around what you’d expect to pay for this type of place. One improvement could be made - found staff not bothered, quite rude. Otherwise I think this is a good brunch spot!

Dropped in to get a takeout coffee, no one else in the store. The man working there reluctantly got up off the table he was sitting at and continued to text from his phone, eyes down the whole time whilst I stood waiting for him to take my order!! I think he only stopped texting and looked up as I remained silent until he did so! Nearly walked out but decided to continue with coffee order. No apologies or small talk. No thank you or pleasantries. Will not be going to this branch again......

Hugely overpriced! It’s a tenner for a toastie and a coffee. Ten whole English pounds! There are no prices on the menus and it always takes a while to prepare food. Fine, but then your coffee needs to be good. Unfortunately it is scolding hot for a long time after the 10 min walk home. So hot in fact that they double-cup and you have to use a sleeve to be able to hold it. It scolds the milk which we all know makes it taste bad. If it was sensational then I wouldn’t mind paying that much but it’s not, it’s average.

Coffee - really nice Food - decent. Actually, above decent. Good. Service - pants Painfully slow. Our sides arrives just as we were finishing. Despite us chasing. Twice. But slowness is not the problem. The problem is that one of the waiters (older guys wearing a cap) just doesn’t want to be there and he makes it very obvious! Sullen, grumpy and unfriendly. Made experience unpleasant.

Breakfast burrito is very good and fairly priced as is the coffee. Have to say the staff were largely useless though. The Australian hostess was brilliant, professional and very apologetic about the slow service, she was rushed off her feet, everyone else seemed uninterested and pretty Incompetent in general. Would be near on 5 stars with better staff

Sat outside on the edge of Streatham Green (tiny) and had delicious mushrooms and hash bites. Very attentive, friendly service from the owner who comes from just down the road on Queensland from our niece 😀 Not low prices at all but the food is good. Can’t say I felt anything from the hash bites. I’m sure they were just tasty potato and spices after all.

We went there with our 3 kids just for a coffee. Very warm welcoming. The lady was really friendly. We just ask for a tea, a coffee and an orange juice. They offered 3 small hot chocolates for the kids. They bring a board game to our youngest son. Furthermore, I liked the atmosphere and decoration (ceiling covered with coffee beans bags)

This place is really popular and has a great reputation. I just don’t really understand why. Great staff. Quite difficult terrain if you have a pram. Food is absolutely fine. The staggering thing is the prices. Truly staggering like nearly a tenner for avo on toast as far as I recall. I’d love to pop in here often but I simply can’t afford it. I’m not sure how anyone can!

Easy parking under Tesco Superstore, this little cafe is cool and friendly. I went there for an early morning breakfast during weekday with a friend and it was really lovely, calm and quiet. Service was prompt , attentive and very friendly with the two lads serving - Tables are quite close to each other but lots of space available at that hour. Ok place to hang out at leisure for that time in the morning. It's not your usual English cooked breakfast but poached eggs on avocado and bread or burritos will set you up to £10 and over with your hot drink. Toilet in the basement very clean but not really disable friendly.

I was staying with friends nearby and this became my local cafe during the week! The staff are super friendly and welcoming, the decor is cosy and casual, the food is divine (particularly recommend the Brunch Menu and Tim Tam Muffins!) and they make a decent Flat White and sell cans of L & P. For a Kiwi like me it was a lovely slice of home 🙂
