There was a bug crawling in my food!! I told them and asked them to take it away, hadn't even touched the meat (it was a mixed starter) ...they still charged for it!! Shocking! No wonder the place was empty....stay away!!!

Amazing food and service. Apu who looked after us was very attentive and guided us through the menu. One of the best hospitality I have seen over the year. We will definitely be back soon. Good quality of food.

Gentleman offered me the seat right in front of the Scotland Switzerland game during the Euros!! I was served Papadams immediately. They were good!!!!! (nv) Then I enjoyed an incredible Honey Mango dish with Pilau Rice and a side of Garlic Naan - to top it off, as I looked up at one point, Switzerlands Shaqiri scored what I think is going to be voted the Best Goal Scored in this Euros! 💯 Amazing goal with fantastic curl into the keepers near post. Picture that dripping in honey mango and Pilau Rice my guy. I saw that goal and then continued my now elevated (was already amazing tho actually) Honey Mango dish. Service are absolutely lovely 😍 👌 Would defo recommend!

Such a disappointment after reading all the good reviews. The food was very bland to the point where we had to put lots of salt on to give any sort of flavour, and even then it was poor. The service was also terrible with the staff being much more interested in watching the tv or changing channels. It was quiet and there was obviously a reason for that. We heard another group complain about the food being tasteless too- try somewhere else

The restaurant was quiet and chilled service. Nice popadoms and starters but the main course was horrendous and had to be sent back. Chicken breast was like shoe leather. A different dish was brought out within 5 minutes making me think chef Mike was being used and it wasn’t great. Shame as reasonable prices and pleasant attentive staff

We were the ladies with one of us (me) who has a severe dairy intolerance. The manager or front of house staff were so accommodating and helpful. I am aware how annoying it can be for restaurants to deal with people like me and I very much appreciated how patient he was. The lovely chap went to the trouble to ask the chef about ingredients and to make sure no ghee or yoghurt was in the dishes I asked for. However, my lucky sister had the Tandoori platter and just from the smell alone, it was excellent and she said it was great tasting. Full of flavour and in my dish, spicing was spot on. The food is delish and authentic which is great as so many restaurants cater for the Western palate and the food just becomes generic. My only small, wee comment is that maybe a few more tandoor style dishes could be introduced for the lactose intolerants like me - please? We will be back as the staff and setting were great.

It was empty when I walked in, having been tempted by the offer of a free drink and 20% off the bill, but that should have been a red flag. My ‘free’ beer was almost undrinkable, and no way was cobra as the waiter told me when I commented on it - clearly a cost saving measure. The mixed grill came out far too quickly, and it was obviously just heated up as it was tough. There are far better places on brick lane.

Had a lovely meal with my Canadian mentor and friend and we received excellent service from Apu and beautiful food

One of the better Indian restaurants on Brick Lane. They can do both the British style Indian curries (i.e. the colourful ones) or the very authentic Indian curries (the very hot ones), just ask when you order and they will accommodate. Service was nice from Apu. Although it appeared they were a little understaffed. What appeared to be one chef and one waiter for the whole restaurant meant we were waiting a good 40 minutes between ordering and being served food. Other than that the restaurant and food quality was well worth it.
