A good place to meet up with friends, good attentive staff, enjoyable food with a good selection of beers. Friendly atmosphere, plenty of parking.

We reserved the snug for our engagement party last night. It was so easy to book and the team were so helpful and looked after us really well! Thank you for making the evening special for us. Would 100% recommend!

First visit here and will def come back again. There were 4 adults and 3 children in our party. We booked a table but when we arrived it was too sunny to be indoors and requested to sit outside which was no issue at all. Kids had menus with activities and were playing in the garden ( no kids play area). We are able to sample some of their brews to ensure we liked it before ordering. Loads of different brews to choose from. Food didn't take too long to come and was superb. Would def recommend a visit.

Both: food and service were outstanding. We will back again.

Another excellent night out at the Brewhouse; bar staff chatty & happy, caesar salad & steak top notch.

Quality and portion sizes vary depending upon what you order. So fish and chips is a decent size whereas the steak pie is tasty but looks lost on the plate. Gluten free menu is above average and the range of beers is excellent.

We had our Dad's wake at the Brewhouse & Kitchen, Highfield, Southampton on Friday 2nd August. Many thanks to the team there, especially Lauren who helped me when choosing menu items. The food we chose were a range of toasted focaccia sandwiches that were accompanied with fries. The food that we ordered was really delicious and all who attended agreed. We were allowed a section of the pub and were able to put a slideshow of photos to remember Dad. Once again Many Thanks Brewhouse and Kitchen.

Mid afternoon food and drinks. Weather was nice so sat out in the nice garden. Family friendly,also accepts CAMRA discount on the lovely ale.

Interesting explanation of the brewery section by Kirin, very knowledgeable young man. Mac cheese generous and tomatoes on the side would have balanced the strong cheesy taste. Courteous enthusiastic service by the friendly waitress (sorry didn't get her name) made for a fun time.

Lovely place to host the wake for my dear departed Mother In Law. We were about 15 people and booked in advance. Got lots of help figuring out the menu and space. Food was DELICIOUS. Our compliments to the chef.. Thank you. On the day, the staff seemed frazzled and unprepared and as a result not super kind (a bit snappy). The staff struggled to find enough time to look after both us and the regular customers which was a bit disappointing since the pub knew we were coming. We recommend perhaps having a designated member of staff for group bookings so that we would not have to wait for drinks, wait for food, wait for everything, which is added stress we did not need on this very upsetting day.

Very disappointing on the food level Was recommended by a Freind aswell £20 for a roast dinner and it came out bloody Cold and with only 3 roast potatoes no bigger than sugar cubes And where was the gravy

Specialise in pizza and can't even cook that right, waited ages for a margarita then when it came out it was massively overcooked and was completely dry

Yummy food, quality beer and friendly staff make this a great bar to visit !

We went for the beer and whisky experience and it was brilliant! Kiran was our host for the evening and he did a great job going through the different whiskys and beers with us, explaining how they're made in general and actually showing us how they make them in house. The 8am stout in particular was lovely! Would defintaly recommend trying this or getting it as a gift for someone.

We booked lunch for both my birthday and Father’s Day and were looked after by Soraya. She was amazing and gave brilliant service, from bringing out extra gravy to suggesting soft dishes for our son who recently had braces fitted. The Sunday roast was massive and very delicious - would maybe like to see a few more green veggies next time! Thanks again for making our day so special 💕

Food was beautifully cooked and presented. Having booked I'd expected to be seated in the restaurant area but instead we were not given this option and were instead seated at a small table in the bar area to the right of entrance. Not the nicest part of the pub and plenty of other tables we could have been offered. Once seated service received was good. The dessert options now v limited - just 5 - so only mains and sides ordered.

We used the brewhouse space to gather for drinks after a meeting - it was excellent all round - lovely beer, easy and communicative organisation.

Had Sunday lunch in the garden. Service was good, and food was delicious, with a good selection of beers. It's not the cheapest pub in town, but the quality is very high. Staff were efficient and welcoming, and although we were disappointed that one of our food choices was not available, we were adequately compensated by a free side dish. Recommended

We booked out the front bar area for our student awards and it was a fantastic night. Gorgeous atmosphere and the staff couldn't do enough to look after us. Help with tech, layout and then all of ur patrons left happy. some holding awards. Lovely space with delicious pints. I recommend the juicy cider. Thanks to Ben, Iz and Lauren for looking after us and making our evening extra special!

Served by Rowan, very nice person and attentive. Shame their freezer and broken and some menu items weren't available. Otherwise food/dessert/drinks were great.

Great venue for remote working. Free WiFi, electricity, unlimited coffee and a hot lunch for £10. Star was a great server, incredibly attentive and found me a quiet spot so I could video call in peace. Will definitely come back again!

My local and never disappoints. Brewpub, good food and great staff. Large garden available. Dogs welcome. Another visit today and again the food and service were amazing . As usual STAR was the star as expected. Always a great relaxed atmosphere.

Very nice! Alice and Charlie were great. We had a slight issue with the fries and they immediately solved it with a smile. Iz was also amazing with the beer tasting. She puts such passion on what she does that the experience is even better. We'll definitely repeat!

Saraya and Harrison were absolutely delightful servers, making sure we had everything we needed and always checking on us. Their warm smiles and friendly faces went a long way. We will definitely be returning, the food was incredible and they were very accommodating to our needs.

Always like the Brewhouse. There were problems with a big party's pre-order which put a significant delay on food orders. We waited almost an hour - fortunately we didn't mind too much but would have probably put off people who didn't know the usual good and quick service. Waitress did her best but maybe a complimentary drink if the situation arises again?!

We organised a work do to farewell my colleague. The staff was really friendly and extremely helpful. They helped us to decorate the venue and offered any help that we asked for. Really lovely people. The food was amazing and the vibes just right!

Just had the most lovely meal. Star who served us was amazing and made us so welcome. Food was outstanding and service excellent. We had the pulled chicken salad which was delightful. All very reasonably priced and we will be returning.

We had the gin masterclass experience with Simon today. OMG that was the best gin experience ever. Simon was so good and he explained everything in detailed. Masterclass gin food was not big quantity but you get to taste 5 gins, a complimentary double gin at the end and food. That's nothing to complaint in there.

Experienced issues like the wrong food order, forgetting the desert and closing kitchen. But generally the cost for what you get does not match. Had some poor experiences with staff, if they have bookings they will happily turn you away rather than try and accommodate a table for a time limit. Decided personally not to try this place again.

Gets my vote for the best roast in Southampton. Staff are always nice. Venue is dog friendly.

Fantastic selection of beers, covering a very wide range of tastes. Hamptons IPA is excellent. Only slight disappointment is the quality of food, it's good, but not doesn't reflect the premium price.

Did a brewery masterclass with friends on a stag weekend. Very insightful host ( Charlie ), who dealt very well with our constant segways into non-beer chat and incredibly delicious beers. Thank you very much for a great experience

Great night , superb host can’t be beaten

We used B&K frequently, almost always as somewhere for dinner before going on to a concert or show. On arrival, I had asked if there was a long lead time on food, since the car park was full and was told no more than 15 minutes, which was fine. We mentioned to the waitress that we were going on to a show, so needed to be out of there as close to 7 as possible. Later, very soon after we had finished eating, our waitress appeared, payment terminal in hand and asked if we were finished and did we want to pay, saying that we had mentioned we want to be away promptly, so brought the payment terminal just in case. We thanked her for this kind consideration, so well done, that young lady. Didn't get her name, but we were Table 32 (I think) at the Southampton branch,

We had a 21st birthday party here. We decided on a buffet menu which was great. We had a private area near the brewing area which was perfect for our party of 20 plus people. A great choice of beers to try too. The communication with the venue was also good. We would go for group events again and would definitely recommend.

Good food which is reasonably priced, prompt service, the staff are pleasant and helpful.

We were served by Olly who was really attentive and friendly. She knew all about the beers and nothing was too much trouble. We had the buttermilk chicken burger, fab, though the slaw was just a few slices of cabbage and lettuce, abit lazy for a 'slaw.' Steak pie was great, Buddha bowl portion was disappointing really for the cost. Overall, great service, friendly atmosphere, child friendly, but for the price the food could be more consistent between dishes.
