Went on a beer tasting session. Logan our host was brilliant, she was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Would highly recommend.

We went to B&K Chester for a beer tasting masterclass and had an amazing experience. Logan, who took the class, was super knowledgeable and friendly. We were impressed at their level of knowledge of the beers and the history of beers. We enjoyed this so much we are planning on purchasing the experience for a gift for friends.

Brewing experience day, Liam was great, very informative, good food, great beer, wonderful set up, well done to all, will definitely recommend and return.

I was gifted a voucher for burgers and beer for 2 and chose this place to use it. The food was excellent, as was the great selection of beers. It was a very quiet Thursday afternoon hence dropping a star for atmosphere. But hey what a fab place. If craft beer (brewed on premises) and a burger is your thing and you’re visiting Chester, do check Brewhouse and Kitchen out.

My family and I had a lovely lunch. Thank you. I will come back at a later date and also at a different time of the day to get a full experience of this lovely pub. Thank you.

We came to Brewhouse and Kitchen for a beer tasting at the weekend. We've been on a few beer tastings but have to say the one with Logan was by far the best. She didn't only tell us about the beers we were drinking, but made it fun by giving us some little known facts and anecdotes about beer. She also had a great knowledge of the history of the area and intertwined that with snippets about beer. Really brilliant experience and would recommend anyone considering the beer tasting to go for it - Logan definitely makes it worth your money!

Kitchen listed as closing at 9 online but we were told at 7.45, after arriving at 7.15, that the kitchen “normally closes at 7.30-8 on Sundays”. Staff didn’t mention that the kitchen was closing at any point until i tried to order, at which point was told no food at all available. Would’ve made alternative plans had we known and don’t think it would’ve been hard to be upfront

Arrived at 7pm to be told they weren’t serving roasts anymore - not exactly late and pretty much the only thing on the menu - waste of time!

We had the loveliest evening at the gin masterclass on the 9th March. Dominika was a great host and put us all at ease, she was so thoughtful and attentive and made sure we had the best night. Definitely gonna book another masterclass in the future 🙌

From the moment of booking with Michael we know that our family celebration was in safe hands. We had a super family meal on Sunday - we popped in early to check on the pre-order. And we weee lucky enough to meet the chef Karel. The food he cooked for us was fabulous! Roshni was our server and she was super - even with 7kids in our party nothing was too much hassle or bother and she was so helpful. Thank you to all the team!

I visited with my parents after the Chester 10k, and to treat my mum to a Sunday Roast for Mother's Day. When we arrived a very lovely man brought my mum over a complimentary gin and tonic to celebrate Mother's Day, which was a lovely surprise and made her feel so special. Our food was soon with us and it was spectacular, a huge serving and extremely tasty. The crew were so attentive and friendly, and couldn't do enough for you. Wouldn't hesitate to return, in fact, I'd now like to come to sample a couple of other items off of the menu. Thank you for making our Sunday Lunch so wonderful, you were all incredible and it's hard to find nowadays.

Excellent food with brilliant service and relaxed atmosphere. We both had burgers which were great. And the real ales were fab. Loved the 8am Stout. Would definitely come again.

Visited Tuesday 5th March for dinner. Catching up with a friend, having a good gossip. Our server was friendly, helpful and patient (We hadn’t looked at the menu because we were too busy chatting) Food and service were great. 👍🏻 Sorry I don’t know our servers name, but sure you can work it out from the date. Will definitely be back.

Barstaff didn’t understand what a Bitter Shandy was. After 5 unsuccessful attempts, I then asked for a shandy. She then asked me “what type?”. I replied “Bitter!” The situation compounded as Bitter was off. I ordered a pint Diet Coke. She then informed me that they only served half pints! I then enquired that my lunch was on the lunchtime special. I was informed it didn’t apply as I had not reserved a table! There was only one customer in the pub at this time. I told the barmaid that I would now reserve the table; but to no avail. Ordering food was no easier. I ordered 2 “Bang Bang Chicken on flat bread. This meal was on the Lunchtime menu, but she insisted on inputting a similar dish on the main menu.After having pointed this out on three occasions she finally relented and charged the correct amount. A thoroughly exasperating experience! Don’t think I’ll bother again although it did have a “Fawlty Towers” tinge to the whole visit.

Came in for a late lunch while visiting Chester. Was a little quiet, but it was midweek, so can't really comment on the atmosphere normally. The food was great (got the fish goujons) and the beer exceptional. The one thing that really stands out though is the service; Logan was enthusastic, knowledgable and so helpful, really took the time to make sure we got the right beer and everything was good. Will definitely be back next visit!

Came in for lunch on a whim and I'm glad I did! The food was excellent, as was Logan's service - very enthusiastic, attentive, and informative about the rotating brews on offer. Definitely stop in and enjoy the great atmosphere, talented staff, and fantastic local food and drinks.

Team accommodated a large party at short notice and the preorder system is the most efficient that I have used.

Booked a Brewery Masterclass for two at the Chester site and this did not disappoint! The Masterclass was hosted by our highly experienced brewer, Liam and he took us through the brewing process from start to finish through a full on immersive experience where we could get involved in parts of the brewing process ourselves. The day also included breakfast and lunch as well as a range of delicious on-site brewed beers throughout the day. Liam, our master brewer was so knowledgeable and friendly and was the perfect host for the day. At the end of the day we got to take home a 5 litre keg of our beer of choice - a great souvenir! Great value for money and one I'd wholly recommend to anyone interested in beer or brewing. Thank you Liam - great day!!

We enjoyed our walk about in Chester .The Brewhouse was a lovely pit stop for our large group .A unique feature was the open brewery tour guide ,watching the whole brewing experience

It's our 2nd visit to this gem in Chester. Could not recommend more atmosphere is outstanding, staff incredible, and food brilliant big shout out to chef on our visit. If you haven't been here you must come, If you have you should return

The food was great and arrived very quickly......I always thought my local Italian restaurant did the best cheesecake.......no its this place......the pie was great also......the ales are just what you would expect from a place with brewhouse as it's name. Staff friendly and helpful. Revisited and the food is as good as ever, beer great.....the cellarman or lady are doing a great job and the service and front of house staff great too. It's now my favourite place to eat in Chester Back again....I've.got a problem with this place now ......its to far from where I live to be my local. Back again... still great .... Good food. ....Good Beer.....Good Bye

All good to be honest. Decent selection of beers and food. Drinks slightly on the expensive side but not by much with excellent service.

The drinks choices were great and the staff tried but there were no Sunday lunches despite it being a Sunday available and so we had to choose from a very limited expensive menu and had a lack lustre meal. there were also several very loud dogs in which nobody tried to quiet or control

We really enjoyed our recent Brewery Experience day here. Liam was our excellent host and the four of us got involved hands-on with the production of a new Lager brew. The Brewery Experience event is a full fun day with breakfast,lunch and a wide variety of beers included plus a small keg of your favourite brew to take away. Liam's humour and knowledge of the brewing industry was well received, well worth a visit.

My husband, myself and , sister and brother in law went along for the beer and whisky pairing experience and it was fantastic the host Michael Lynch was very much the expert in his craft and accommodating to our needs, very good value for money . Food was excellent too will definitely be going back again .

Attended a whisky and beer experience hosted by Michael. Excellent evening of tasting accompanied by excellent knowledge from Michael and his team. The evening was finished off with a nice meal aswell. Highly recommended.

Super pub and dining venue with the working brewery downstairs so the place has aroma of hops and brewing which enhances the experience. Good range of tap ales including a non-alcoholic brew, all well kept and a good price… for Chester! Nice atmosphere with varied quirky decor, and a good menu of favourites alongside modern cuisine. Just found some areas of the pub were rather chilly with radiators turned off. Welcoming service at the bar from the engaging staff too. Would recommend.

What can I say other than everyone needs to visit! I’m currently sat in here now writing this review after ramming down what I can only describe, a phenomenal Beef Sunday Roast! I arrived on Friday currently doing security on a little site next door. Ever since I arrived they have been nothing but helpful & so so kind. I was even more amazed when I found out they brew their very own beers here in the building! If you want a delicious hot meal, a one of a kind drink & impeccable kind service/very warm welcome then this is the place to be. Thank you so much guys you’re generosity is all I could ask for xxx

Staff very rude and looked down on Smell was awful and put us of eating or staying there due to then brewing alcohol. £4.00 for tiny pot of fries that were over done Wouldn't recommend at all unless you have got stupid amount of money to spend and are not bothered wasting it 🤷

My two sons and i did the brewery experience, it was a fantastic day lead by head brewer liam, we learnt a lot about the process of making different beers and had lots of beer tastings, good food and great humour all day would thoroughly recommend it to anybody

Whilst the food was the normal pub grub, Michael was quite possibly the friendliest waiter I have ever come across. 😊 Great with recommendations on the beer to my preferences, it was a quiet evening and November and he then came over and had a really good chat about the area and our trip. It's hard to even get a genuine smile from waiters sometimes, it was really refreshing to see (even running out into the street when my beer wobbly mother left her hat!) Thank you!

We love the Brewhouse and Kitchen Chester because not only is the food and drink great, but also the staff make us feel very welcome and always go the extra mile to make us feel comfortable.

The whisky and beer experience a good way to spend a Saturday early evening! Recommend to novices and experienced alike. Both can get something out of it.

Myself and my girlfriend both had our tea there ,after a fantastic time in Chester. My fish was cooked from frozen and still was wet inside the batter. My girlfriend's pie was a microwave pie with little filling in it. Put it's self was great ,but food was terrible.

My partner and I had a beer master class here over the weekend. Logan our host was amazing! Her knowledge on beer was impressive, she was able to answer all our questions and she made the experience for us. The food was also delicious. I would highly recommend booking this experience and possibly ask for Logan to be your host, you will not be disappointed!

We had our Christmas meal there last night and couldn't fault a thing. The food was delicious and the team were fantastic. Despite being in a large group they made and served the food with such ease. We had to make some last minute changes and there was an error with our bill because of this however, this was all rectified immediately with no issues. Absolutely fantastic, thank you.

Had a fantastic time doing the Whisky & Beer masterclass. Michael was an outstanding host who shared his love and knowledge of whisky with us in a highly entertaining way! We learned so much! Liam, the Head brewer was, again, extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. The other people in our group were lovely and a great evening was topped off with an extremely tasty and filling meal. A great time was had by all. Highly recommend!

The chicken burger with buttermilk was so delicious! Also the mac and cheese was good!

Visited to redeem vouchers we received for beer tasting + burgers 🍔 🍺 had a really nice time! Staff were friendly and took time to explain beers, what you can pick etc. nice burgers and tasty variety of beers brewed on site (stouts, pales, IPAs etc.) as well as guests on tap.

Busy evening and I had booked a table for 6 but I got the wrong night! The staff managed to squeeze us in and chef bent over backwards to get our food prepped even for our allergens order. So impressed with the service they gave us and very grateful to be fed!

Brewhouse and Kitchen in Chester was the venue for my recent 50th birthday celebrations. Our party was for around 65 people in the Cellar Bar. We had an excellent night! The staff were extremely attentive and friendly, and the food was beautiful. Everything was straightforward…. from the original visit and booking to the actual day itself. We were able to set the room up in advance and there was plenty of time to clear up the following day. Staff, including the head chef, met with us to talk through menu options and arrangements. Can’t thank you all enough :)

Held my 50th birthday party in the cellar bar - really fun night helped by the friendly staff, great set up (large TV we hooked up an XBox to for the youngsters, Speakers we could plug into for the nostalgic playlist, well stocked bar) and good food. They even let me do some of the brewing prep. I can only recommend you book it for yourselves! Lack of photos due to too much fun being had!

Experienced the beer tasting event hosted by the wonderful Logan, who’s knowledge on beer is immense. You also have a meal included i my he price witch was also very nice. I would recommend this experience or just pop in for a pint and a bite to eat.

Liam was amazing, he was really informative, let the group get involved and listened to everyone! Honestly cannot fault his service!

Loved the tropical IPA, absolutely moorish, we ate the beer can chicken club sandwhich with sticky korean fries, very nice but the foccacia bread was a little too thick, otherwise couldn't fault this place, love the decor, staff very attentive, clean and cosy, will be back.

Beer and Whisky or Whiskey masterclass experience was excellent, really well set up, explained in great detail with a bit of humour thrown in. The presenter (Michael, i think) was very knowledgeable but told it in laymans terms and to say he probably does this a lot, his enthusiasm was impressive. I suggest you don't have any drinks before you go, 5 varied whisky's and 5 thirds of varied beers (1 strong one!) are drunk at your own pace and a burger is offered at the end. Really enjoyed it.

Celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary here, food was delicious and will definitely return. Cocktail we asked for wasn’t on the menu but they happily made it for us.

Booked on line to use up a Buy A Gift Voucher we'd been given. This included a flight of craft beers each and a burger. We arrived early for our booking, which wasn't a problem. We were greeted and shown to our table. The team explained how the voucher worked and left us to choose our flight of beers. When the flight was delivered we were told about each beer and what to look out for. Needless to say, they went down nicely and complemented the food perfectly. Food was served promptly and was really nice. Onion rings in beer batter were lush. We spent the afternoon sampling various craft beers available and weren't rushed to give up our table. We'd highly recommend the Brewhouse & Kitchen and look forward to getting a train down to Chester again soon for a return visit. Thanks guys, we had a excellent experience.

Fantastic customer service! Food was unreal. Prices are amazing especially happy hour. Was a bit quite when we where there’s due to the time we come so difficult to say with atmosphere. Definitely would come back absolutely recommend!!
