I came with my partner two kids for dinner.The atmosphere was very loud and not enjoyable other customers shouting very loudly felt like being in a pub with children aloud to be there wasn’t enjoyable. The soft play looked very dirty as my child went to go in for a play. I feel it for the staff as I think staff were doing a good job. We came out rushing to eat our food to just get out far to loud my head was aching.Lots of adults drunk while there kids are running about it was just not like being in restaurant and I had two kids with me but the atmosphere was not enjoyable

Was sign stating cash only told cash few mins in car at Asda. Staff were dealing with situations calmly professionally manner food was lovely kids enjoyed the soft play would return they loved the den with music and balloons wouod say it would be good to have soft play open later as other brewer fayre have their soft play open to 8

We were ignored by a woman at the bar for a couple of minutes, while she completed her online task. Then we were made to feel like a nuisance to her for bothering to ask for some coffees. We were then instructed to sit in a special area, as they were setting up for lunch. (We were the only ones in the whole building) Only visit this establishment if you are absolutely desperate for an overpriced coffee from a machine. Grim, to say the least.

The restaurant was not clean breakfast was awful which we paid £10.99 each as booked it when we booked premier inn would not recommend had paid for 2 days breakfasts but 1 day was enough

We were staying in premiere inn , so our breakfast was in Brewers Frayre. Breakfast experience was not upto the mark as we reached restaurant between 9:45-10:00 am they ran out of the stuff on asking they said can't give you as the service is going to close in 30 mins there was an Asian lady she was loud and rude, other staff members were polite. Did not like their breakfast service wouldn't recommend to other friends and family.

We ate here last night and again tonight. On both occasions the service was excellent, staff very friendly and food was very nice, would highly recommend.

I mentioned on the booking it was for a birthday and that my dad gets cold. We were warmly welcomed into the restaurant and given a selection of tables near the heating (as requested on the booking). Our food was served by a lovely young lady with blue hair who was really friendly, accommodating, and attentive. Nothing was too much for her - she even took photos for us! The food was also lovely, hot and well-portioned.

I was met with a lovely friendly greeting by Danielle just after 1:00 pm today, friendly, smiley, professional and very efficient just the type of welcome to make you feel valued as a customer. We had intended to spend the afternoon here today for food, wine etc but that was ruined by the other female bar person who made a point of not giving me my receipt with her name on...of Malaysian decent maybe and I only say this because I could not find out her name....who when I asked her for an additional drink no Hello, smile or anything to make me feel valued as a customer.....when she proceeding to say the price so fast I could not understand her, she barked the price for the third more loudly obviously hoping saying it loud enough to make me feel small would do the job. Here is a suggestion, try saying please after quoting the the price and I might have thought ah ok its the price she was on about ! Again the lager ran out when serving me...no "sorry or "won't be long" and again when the barrel was changed proceeded to bark the price again with no please or thank you on the transaction for this drink.....where is the customer service training ! We proceeded to order a meal later on for fish and chips later through another server who was okay.....but this lady served our meal with no smile, no "here is your meal" or "enjoy your meal" or " can I get you anything else",...she ruined the experience. We were going to order bottle of wine or two, plus a desert etc but she ruined the experience...won't be back in a hurry now ! Danielle though gave us a lovely smile goodbye on leaving her shift, so professional and so nice to deal with !

Great place to come for some good value food. Team were very friendly and the food came out hot and plentiful! Definitely a nice place to bring your kids and family for an occasional meal.

Absolutely shocking service, was so bad we didn’t even get seated, front of house staff was so unfriendly and clearly having a bad day due to staffing issues, he was rude and unhelpful, he closed the door on us as food was getting cold due to the coming and going of the front door, then told people service that usually takes 40 mins would take 1h and 20 mins, he then told us he had no tables and he was to busy to see if a table was free in the play area and to go and check ourselves if we wanted, avoid at all costs if you don’t want your day upset, there is no need to treat people like this absolutely SHOCKING, have used here for years but won’t be back after today

Danielle was really helpful and was great service. Nice coffee too. Views are lovely from the window. Would recommend.

Came in for dinner on Friday the 12th was busy but the staff done their best to keep us informed of food waits etc and when we got our food it couldn’t of been better and was nice and warm, we were then served desserts at our table which was nice so didn’t have to go bar

I went there for dinner with family it was nice but had to wait half hour for pubbing we asked the girl to put the heating on because it was cold she said put your coat on I said why put a coat on when having a meal they said they turned the heating of because staff where to hot do they not think about there customers

A group of us were Premier Inn guests and used this place for breakfast and drinks. Toilets were filthy all weekend, one cubicle out of order, one door didn’t lock and the third cubicle was dangerous as the toilet itself was wobbly and resulted in me bumping my head. Bin outside was full when we arrived on Friday and still full on Sunday morning with the same bin bag sitting on top all weekend. Cups sitting on outside table for 2 days. Breakfast average, luke warm buffet. I get that it’s quicker to stick trays of sausages in the oven but at least flash them under the grill so they’re not grey. Seriously understaffed, tired lady who seemed to be there the entire weekend called last orders around 9.30 each night. I understand that it’s difficult to get staff but it’s not acceptable for management to disappear and leave stressed, tired staff to get on with it. Get your sleeves up and help them out.

Both me and my husband felt unwell after this meal. I almost threw up. The fish was fresh but it was likely fried with bad oil.

Easy online booking and plenty of parking. It’s a wait to be seated restaurant. Shown to a table and told to order at the bar when ready. Menu was ok but a bit limited. Food arrived in a timely manner and was hot. Burger was ok but not great and the fish was a bit oily with so much batter around its tiny fillet. Venue is ok but again just not great. Staff again were ok. Overall above average but great for a Brewers Fayre.

Booked for my grandsons 3rd birthday as been at the venue before with both grandsons and really enjoyed it. However never again would I book this venue. Service was atrocious. The attitude of the staff including the manager was definitely not customer service. Was informed we would have a dedicated staff member and whilst the lady was really nice and apparently just covering this area there was nobody to help when she went for her break. We requested items numerous times and when they eventually arrived it was like they were doing us a favour rather than part of what we paid for. At the end we requested a knife to cut the cake and waited 10 mts and had to go to bar to get it. No plates to put cake on and had to use napkins which were not ideal. Plates eventually turned up and the attitude of the staff member was really bad. I raised it with the manager and got excuses ie we have been busy etc etc. Not good enough that they blamed that on the service. It is not cheap to book and certainly would not recommend to book your party thats for sure.

Stopped off for some breakfast before heading into town for some shopping and what a lovely hot breakfast it was ordered poached eggs cooked by Adam the chef will definitely be back 😀

We arrived at 5.30 on a Sunday and ordered about 5.45, by the time our food came it was 6.30. The food was OK. The staff were friendly. But 45 mins to wait for food was a bit long in my opinion.

Hi brewers fayre as DONE it again made my daughter and niece's very happy with the two girls at where doing it only really seen one doing all the games and that was ashley she dose make play fun for all the kids as it was her and lorna that made my kids so happy at Easter party to I can't wait till the Xmas party also the pace was decorated really well and I can't wait to see what it is like for Christmas thanks again brewers fayre soft play

We attended the Halloween party for kids and both my kids absolutely loved it. I hadn’t been to brewers fayer in a long time, we also got some dinner & the food tasted brilliant. Can’t fault that & can’t fault the team at the Brewster as they made sure kids were happy with games, food and music. Defo recommend

A poor Return Visit for breakfast. Standards seem to have dropped yet again! Had to walk around the restaurant in the wind and rain to get to the front entrance as the hotel side entrance was locked. Only two staff on duty, with no real interest in the customers or service and no interest in identified problems including the locked side door. One of the toasters was shooting out pale toast...BEHIND the counter onto the floor. I mentioned this to the staff. No interest shown. The toaster remained switched on with customers waiting for their toast that never appeared came back! The food quality had also gone downhill again. It must take great effort to produce tasteless bacon and scrambled eggs that can swim in water! Better to catch a tram just outside and seek a decent breakfast in many of the city cafes.

Friendly enough staff but they don't seem to be bothered or take any pride. The tables were full of empty glasses and staff walked past them and don't clear them. We had one drink early evening, we went back to our room in Premier Inn to shower and change and 2 hours later the same glasses were still on the tables waiting to be cleared. The toilets are gross. Breakfast was OK and we saw tables being cleaned etc. No sign of any vegetarian sausages or being able to ask for poached eggs. A shame the cruise passengers come in and take all the pastries and use the toilets

Popped in for some dinner with friends the service was exceptional and the food was amazing chef Adam is a credit to the place will definitely be back

The Brewers Fayre could do with better organisation. Firstly, I had to stand in a queue for 15 minutes to place my order. I could not understand why the one person taking all the food orders also had to dispense the drinks before he could take the next order. There were clearly ample staff who could have helped, since one of them was waiting at my table when I had finished ordering, to tell me that what I had ordered was not available! Not recommended.

Disgusting food . Felt like processed chicken and cheap burgers . We had to ask several times for our dessert and staff just stood chatting to each other . Staff didn’t seem to be interested in their customers and other people round around were complaining too . Had the restaurant been busy it might have been not so bad but it wasn’t busy and no wonder . Would never come back here if I was paid too.

What a poor quality experience this was. A soulless self service hotch potch of cheap bacon that looked as if had been steamed rather than grilled, fried eggs that had turned to rubber under heat lamps, mushrooms kept warm in a water filled pot and staff completely indifferent to the guests paying their wages. Avoid at all costs, not cheap either. Don’t be fooled by the brochure in the adjacent Premier Inn with its completely misleading images of a beautiful looking breakfast fit for a King. Rotten value.

We enjoyed our Christmas Day meal at Brewers Fayre. There was a good range of options on the menu. The food was well cooked and tasty. The staff were well organised, friendly and efficient. The only complaint was that the advance booking/payment system was poor.
